Once upon a time, there was an alleyway. All alleyways are scary. But this one holds intrigue. At the end of the concrete passage, a dented and scuffed steel door opens to a staircase. Deep under the ground, in the cool light of purple flames, Mona Kyoushi has carved out a space for the supernatural to prowl.

2. This is a literate roleplay. I’m not gonna fill this page up with endless ramble on proper literate roleplay. It’s not hard. Capitalize and punctuate properly. Don’t be a loser. Write more than one sentence.
2.5. Also, OOC posting is fine. But please do not just post in OOC. Post something in character and you can tag your thoughts with it. Excess of OOC will result in a warning. Continual offense results in banning.
3. Quoting posts in unnecessary. Please don’t do it; just address the person you’re speaking to in your post.
4. Don’t be ridiculously rude. Inconsideration is not tolerated. That includes an overabundance of cursing.

The owner and boss of N&C, Mona is a rather young vampiress at the age of 20. She is the second child of Aleon and Evangelique Kyoushi, sister to Chrysanello. She's rather feisty and blunt in her actions but has a soft spot that's easy to reach in her heart. She has a total of 26 piercings on her body, tattoos on her chest, navel and hands. She has long, black hair and tan skin. She constantly breathes smoke because there's a tongue of holy fire in her throat. The color and scent of the smoke changes depending on her mood.
She has the power of spontaneous dimensional movement which can be entertaining or annoying depending on how she uses it. She also has the ability to control light. She built the N&C as a place to make friends and as a place to harbor those night creatures that she adores so much.

Mona didn't expect someone to walk through the door as soon as she unlocked it. She was content enough in herself just to sit on the bar like she loved to and drink from her bottle of pepsi. White smoke drifted from her mouth and pooled in the bulb of the bottle. The music thumped behind her. And she grinned. This was going to be wonderful.

Mary walked in, hearing the music from outside.. She hadn't had a drink in ages, so she was eager when she sat up on a stool.

Mona's red eyes glowed as she looked up at the woman who walked down into the bar.
"Welcome, stranger," she said, grinning. The tattoos of silver flames on her hands shimmered in the purple light. "Name's Mona. This is my place. Good to have ya. Anything I can get for you? Anything, name it, I got it for ye."

*Mary smiled at first at the woman, the was a bit surprised. After a minute she smiled even more. This woman had a dark beuty about her that complimented the building... or did the building compliment her. She couldn't tell.* Hello.. I'm Mary.. Mmm.. Im not sure what Im in the mood for. Something sweet. *she giggled a bit and looked up at her.*

Snowy colored whisps drifted from Mona's fanged smile and snake-bitten lips, perfuming the air with the scent of sugar cookies and lemonade.
"Lovely to have you, Mary," she said, nodding once. "Something sweet? Like a liqueur? Or maybe like a punch? Pick: buzz or no buzz?" Mona hoisted herself backwards over the black-marble bar. The silver moon-shaped lighter around her neck swung a couple times.

Mary smelled the surprisingly sweet scent of her inner smoke. It reminded her of warm summer, yet it was the color of ice. she smiled. "That's amazing how you can do that.. Mm.. I want a buzz.. definately" she smiled gently and twiled a finger around a ringlet playfully.

"What, this?" She pointed to the tendrils drifting from her words. "Nah, it's no talent. More like a scar, really." She smoothed her silver fingers over the smooth bartop and out of it a martini glass blossomed like a flower before it filled with some whimsical pink liquid. It gave off sweet-smelling vapors. "That's a Neon Sakura," Mona told her. "Sake, strawberry juice and grenadine. With a bit of magic to make it look cool. See what you think."

Mona pulled away from the bar, putting her hands on her hips and nodding a couple times.

She looked up at Mona, becoming more and more curious about her. When she saw the drink though, it looked like it was the last glass of drinkable liquid in the world. "Mmmm..." she all but purred as she took the glass, taking a long but slow sip. "Mmmmm.. so good.."

"Good then?" Mona chuckled heartily. Her voice was rather low for a woman's but there was a sort of appeal to it, especially when she laughed. Purplish smoke puffed from her throat with every joyed exhale.
"Heheh, hope that earned a visit from you on another day."

She licked her lips and smiled warmly, taking another drink of the warming wet cool sweet drink. "Oh definately.." she smiled softly. "Tell me more about yourself, Im interested.. "

"Ah, well." Mona grinned and leaned against the back counter. She lifted a black-taloned hand and fiddled with the stud in her eyebrow. "I'm a vampire, pure blood. Descended from Natsuka, the God of Chaos and Bloodlust and Chandra, the Goddess of Supernatural Justice and Beauty. My father died last year. Ah...I'm in love with a demon who's thousands of years older than me. And...I can do this." She vanished. And when she appeared again, she was standing behind Mary's shoulder. She grinned and then appeared back to where she was before.

"See these?" She held her hands up where silver ink was tattooed like flames on her fingers, reacing up to her wrists. "These are my newest ones. I got them after I mastered light manipulation. Ah, my hobby is body painting." Smoke continued to drift from her mouth. "Yourself?"

Mary listened in interest, her eyes widening as she spoke of being a pureblood vampire. Her eyes widened even more when she spoke of a demon thousands of years older than her. That made her wonder, how old could the demon be? and.. how old was she for that matter. she was startled out of thought when she disappeared and then she felt her behind her, it made her splutter a bit on her "neon sakura" she had been nursing the whole time. She looked in awe at the beautiful marking and then blushed heavily when she was asked about herself. "W-well.. I've been living on the streets and the forest near here for a while now. I'm kind of a runaway, but I get money here and there doing odd jobs for people." she looked down at her worn corset top dress and the skirt that just barely hid her garter belt, which held up a pair of fishnets. Along with some chunky black boots she was quite a sight. She looked up at her. "U-uhm.. this would happen to be an inn to, hm?"

Mona grinned a fanged, smoky smile.
"Sorry to startle you, honey," she chuckled. "A street baby?" she pressed her lips together. "I'm not at all content with that. And, no, this isn't an inn, but you are more than welcome to crash on the couch. I can get some pillows and blankets out for you. Sound good?"

Exhausted and feeling rather depressed, the pale man made his way through the strange door, finding himself standing in a bar. Turning his head slightly to either side, his bright red eyes took in his new surroundings. After several moments of deep consideration, his feet anticipating instruction from the brain to leave, he approached the bar instead, sitting down on one of the stools.

Though he looked rather down, he didn't look nearly as bad as he felt. After a few moments, his left elbow found its way onto the bar counter, his cheek resting in it. Closing his eyes, he sighed softly and just sat there in silence, not really caring whether or not he was noticed by anyone.
