The woman looked up at the creature, and then at the mug as it was offered to her. Her eyes reflected a slight annoyance, but her reply was eloquent and gentle, as it should be when speaking to a new acquaintance. "Goodmorrow, dear Sir.. I'd fancy a glass of the finest, driest red wine you've got.. And please don't be.. Shall I say, Skimpy? I need something strong after the night I've had." Her voice was melodic and pure, almost as though she was singing as she spoke. "And who might you be?" She pushed the mug back across the countertop, a silent and polite rejection.

"Gigas?" Link questioned, but nodded his head when Jaigo explained its importance, he held it in both his arms as he waited for Jaigo to come back. It slapped Link with its tail a few times, it made him growl with frustration, "knock it off!" Link shouted, Midna flew back a bit, giggling. He groaned with boredom as he waited for Jaigo to return, "where is he?! He better not have left us" by this time Gigas seemed a bit lifeless, Midna cupped her hands in the lake water and carried some water over to Gigas, pouring it over his exposed gills so he could breathe and stay alive.

Once Jaigo had returned, Link took a look at the cart, "doesn't seem very sturdy, but its better than carrying this thing everywhere" he said as he gently placed Gigas in the cart. "Come on, lets go and show Kane!" Said Link when he grabbed one of the cart handles, Midna smiled and floated by his side.

[[Hey everyone~ I'm not much of an RP-er so forgive my writing ^^;; ]]

Adelynn stumbled into the tavern nervously. Every step she took sounded like a rock hitting the ground, though in reality, her steps were almost impossibly quiet. Her clothes looked as if they belonged to a porcelain doll, except for the fact that they were human-sized. Even her boots seemed oddly doll-like with their roundness. Her gloves made it clear that her hands were small, and her tight-forming stockings clung to small legs. About the only think that betrayed the doll-like appearance of the girl was the dark cloak she wore to protect herself from the cold. Adelynn would never think about wearing fur; thinking about it made her shudder. Her round lilac eyes would become rounder, her creamy skin would become pale, and she would subconsciously tug on her waist-length black hair to try and keep herself from shaking.

Realizing that her train of thought was going in a direction she wasn't pleased with, Adelynn busied herself with finding a place to sit. She picked a chair near a wall and moved to it as quickly as she could muster without attracting too much attention. She removed her cloak before sitting down, feeling her shoulders ache as she tried to loosen them up. Then, once she was sitting, she folded the cloak neatly and placed it on her lap. She would have loved to observe the other people here, but staring at people just felt so uncomfortable and rude...

Sard smiled at the frazzled woman and nodded politely. He took the mug and poured the water back into the barrel of ice and set it on the counter. He turned and pulled a tall bottle from the wine holder and looked at it. Sadness grew in the satyr's eyes as he looked at the bottle. It was one of the last bottles of Kehi's favorite drink, Alzonian Red Wine. He smiled sadly and shrugged, "This is our finest wine, ma'am, may it be as good to you as it has been for us..." He poured the ruby red liquid into the mug slowly, watching it's beautiful color fill the glass. He slid it to the woman and smiled again, this time with cheer, "Enjoy."

Just then, the door to the inn opened slightly and another woman entered. Sard offered her a smile, but she seemed too preoccupied with finding a seat. He filled a mug of water and began making his way through the maze of tables and chairs toward her, his hooves clomping on the ground as he went, "I swear, one day I will find a way to walk on wooden floors quietly." He knelt and smiled at the doll-like woman in the corner and offered her a drink, "Hello, and welcome the the DarkWinds, can I get you anything?"

Jaigo grinned up at Link, "It's a good cart!" He helped his new friend pit Gigas on the cart and began to wheel it back toward the inn. He tried to skip, but with the weight of the cart it was difficult.

Clorissa 03-21-2009 06:52 PM

Taking the mug, she flashed a dazzling smile. The woman sniffed at the wine and analyzed it's colour and decided that it was a very nice wine, yes it was. However, she felt so odd with a mug of wine. Her fingertips glowed gently and she began to slowly, skillfully mould the bottom of the muginto a long stem with a flat base, and the top into a tall, thin wine glass. It wasn't clear like crystal, but it was quite elegant looking as porcelain.

Finally satisfied with her handiwork, and how she hadn't spilled a drop, the woman held the edge of the glass to her lips and let a long, slow draught of the ruby liquid flow between her lips. She licked them and smiled fondly at the seductive, fruity, dry taste. "So fine.." She whispered, glad to have such a delicious drink.

Sardonis had made his way back to the bar and pulled a towel from a hook that hung below the view of his customers. Sard smiled genuinely and nodded toward her glass, "I apologize that I cannot serve you wine in a glass such as that without troubling you to make your own." He chuckled lightly, "That is a unique talent, is it just glass you manipulate or is it all materials." He wiped at the bar and then jumped slightly, "Ah! I became busy and failed to introduce myself." He dropped the towel and bowed deeply to his guest, "I am Sardonis."

_~Link~_ 03-23-2009 02:25 AM

Link pulled the cart with a single hand, he seemed to not mind the weight, he could carry the fish along with the cart on his back if he wanted to, thanks to his strength. Once they reached the front of the inn though, he stopped and took a look at Jaigo, "I really hope you don't plan on us taking this thing in through the front. Is there a back door we could go through instead?" He asked Jaigo.

Clorissa 03-23-2009 02:39 AM

The woman flipped some of her long curls over her shoulder and smiled at Sardonis, her emerald eyes sparkling as she spoke, twirling the stem of the glass lightly between her fingertips. "Not everything, but generally things that one can melt or have at a mouldable state. It's very tough to mould wood, but much less to shape metals or ceramics." She took another drink of her delicious wine, enjoying how the red liquid looked in the very bright white of her glass.

The elegant lady giggled and flashed a more tooth smile than before at the creature's adorable chivalry. "What a nice name you have. I'm called Euphoria in most lands, but that's not my true name.. However, it's what I should be called here." She looked at her glass, now only 1/4 full. One of Euphoria's hands slipped into a fold in her dress and took out four large round gold pieces, and she asked softly as she set them on the countertop if she might have a whole bottle of the delicious wine she'd been served.

ShiroChaan 03-23-2009 02:50 AM

Jaigo looked up, "Oh yeah, there is a back door that we receive shipments. The cart could actually fit through the front though, that's how I got it out." He ran around the other side of the Inn and opened a double door, "Through here."
He went into the kitchen and smiled at Kane who was sitting on the counter eating a plate of food he had prepared for himself. His long feline-like feet touching the ground despite the height of the counter. His long ears, covered in brown fur, like his legs, twitched as Jaigo entered, his yellow eyes flashed, "Ye brought back me cart, n' without a scratch on 'er." He flashed a evil-looking fanged grin, "Maybe ye are worth something."
He set his plate down and stepped away from the counter, his full height reaching just a little over seven feet. He locked his amber-hued eyes on Link, "And who be yer friend?"
Jaigo smiled pridefully, "This is Link!"
Kane eyed him a moment longer and then looked down at the cart, his eyes widening and his slitted pupils dilating, becoming almost round, "Gods and fathers before me, ye've caught Gigas." He looked down at Link and narrowed his eyes, "In all me years of pirating and fishing I have never been able to catch a fish like this one. Me crew and I caught a few sharks and three or four mer-people and zoras, but never a regular fish at 60 pounds."
He smiled his same toothy grin and clapped his hand on Link's shoulder, "Yer quite the angler, Link. That fish be a legend around here, that's why it earned a name." He lifted the fish with ease and set it on the counter, unsheathing a huge butcher's knife from a row of leather sheaths that hung from a rope stretched over the stove.
"There's only one thing to do with a fish like this..." He looked over his shoulder at the men for approval.

Sardonis smiled again at her, courteously, and turned. His smile faltered as he reached for the bottle. He was reluctant, but she had given him quite the sum for it. He sighed to himself and turned, placing his charming smile back on his face before offering the bottle toward her, resting it label-side up on the back of his wrist, formally. The bottle, shaped like a figure eight, was frosted and the name was etched into the glass in strange lettering, obviously not from this country or anywhere in this world. Sardonis flipped his bangs from his eyes, "This is one of the last bottles of this wine that this world will ever see, please enjoy it." He offered another bar-keep's smile and went back to polishing the bar.

Clorissa 03-23-2009 03:13 AM

Euphoria carefully took the bottle from Sardonis and refilled the glass, admiring the colour of the frosted glass as she tilted it in the light. As she sipped away at her glass, a fishy smell drifted out of the kitchen to greet her very sensitive nose. No one in all the realms and worlds could grill fish like Euphoria. Unsatisfied with the silence, the woman looked back to Sardonis. "So, where do you hail from, Sardonis? I'm curious."

ShiroChaan 03-23-2009 03:31 AM

His deep blue eyes flicked up to meet hers and he stood. He looked mildly happy, but not smiling his staged smile, "My people hail from the high-cliffs to the east. They overlook the Halbriss Ocean. We're very much like mountain goats." He chuckled and polished the at the bar, "Out here people refer to creatures that are similar to me as satyrs, but after meeting one, I can assure you, miss, that I am nothing like them." He laughed quietly to himself.

Clorissa 03-23-2009 03:45 AM

Euphoria chuckled. "Ahh, I nearly made it there once. A bounty called for my skills, and a man needed be tracked down and done away with. Not usually something I enjoy doing, but that bounty is still paying for things, on top of what I've earned past that." She gently jingled the bag of gold in her dress as she stood to stretch her long legs, taking a few steps in one direction, and then the other.

MurasakiCrown 03-23-2009 04:05 AM

Adelynn jumped, startled. "Oh, u-um... do you happen to have any warm milk? And perhaps some bread? I feel a bit chilly." She looked at the boy, her eyes lingering at his hooves. Giving herself a mental shake, she made herself look at his face, then down at her hands. "Th-thank you," she stammered, feeling her face redden. Staring at someone's feet had been very impolite of her. She had gotten quite a few stares herself on occasion, and knew that she didn't like it very much.

ShiroChaan 03-23-2009 04:31 AM

Sardonis smiled kindly at Euphoria and then turned his head at the sound of the other woman's voice. He offered her a kind smile and nodded. He turned and walked into the kitchen, watching for a moment as Kane lifted the fish. He would speak to them later, but he had guests to attend to. He grabbed two 6-inch baguettes and put them in a wire mesh basket and held them over the hot stove for a moment to warm, but not toast them. When they were warm he placed them on a square white plate and grabbed a large jar of milk from a barrel of ice and poured it into a bowl and set it on the stove. He went out and grabbed a mug, holding a finger up in a "one moment" gesture and returned to the kitchen. He poured the now warm milk in the bowl into the mug and grabbed the plate. He went back into the common room and weaved his way over the the girl gracefully, setting the items before her.

"There you are, if you'd like anything else, please let me know." His kind blue eyes sparkled with another smile and he returned to the bar.

_~Link~_ 03-23-2009 05:29 AM

Link stepped back a bit as he noticed Kane stand up, a bit surprised by his hight compared to his own, but he regained his courage and nodded his head. "Thank you Kane, it is an honor to hear such words from a legendary fisherman such as yourself, I've done quite a fare share of fishing in my day." He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head, but he focused when Kane was ready to prepare Gigas and cook him. He nodded his head and gave Kane a smile, giving him approval of cooking Gigas, he looked over at Jaigo to see his decision.

ShiroChaan 03-23-2009 02:20 PM

Jaigo grinned and looked up at Kane, leaning on the counter, "Link provided dinner AND is going to provide entertainment tonight." He laughed but then looked down at his feet, sadly, "It's like Kehi is back..."
Kane looked down at Jaigo, almost startled, "I thought we all agreed not to talk about them..."
Jaigo nodded, "Yeah... but I can't help it..."
Kane smiled sadly and began preparing the fish, "Thank you, Link."

_~Link~_ 03-23-2009 06:09 PM

Link grew surprised as Jaigo mentioned entertainment, he'd almost completely forgotten, he'd need to think of some songs to play now, he grew nervous. But, his nervousness faded when Jaigo mentioned Kehi, he looked at him, then back at Kane with confusion, he looked down at the ground. He would've asked who Kehi was, but Kane said not to, so he stayed silent, he looked up though when Kane thanked him, he nodded his head and gave him a small smile. "No problem Kane, perhaps we should get going now Jaigo and let Kane prepare dinner, I need to practice for tonight and you need to finish up your dragon."

MurasakiCrown 03-23-2009 06:31 PM

Adelynn took a bite of one of the baguettes , a delighted "oh!" escaping from her lips. The warm bread was quite delicious. She continued to eat the first, quickly and efficiently, and before she knew it, she had finished all six. She looked around nervously to make sure no one had seen her sorry display. She hadn't even taken off her gloves. To calm herself, she took a sip of the milk, this time, more slowly and gracefully. With the warmth of the food, Adelynn's cheeks became rosy, and she felt more energetic.

ShiroChaan 03-25-2009 06:42 PM

Jaigo smiled sadly up at Link and made his way out of the kitchen. He passed Sard and went around the bar, taking a seat next to Euphoria. He picked up his dragon and took the knife from his pocket. He turned the dragon in his hands a few times before setting it back on the bar, "I don't feel like it..."

Sard looked down at Jaigo and smiled weakly, "Are you ok?" Jaigo didn't answer and Sard sighed, looking up to check on the two women in the bar. He spied the doll-like girl on the opposite wall and chuckled when he saw she had finished her plate, "And would you like anything else, my dear?" He smiled and set the towel aside, the bar gleaming in the sunlight.

_~Link~_ 03-25-2009 07:41 PM

Link watched Jaigo walk away in concern for a few seconds before he began to follow, he passed by Sard and looked at Jaigo, sitting depressingly at the bar, he walked over to his side and gave him a gentle pat on the back. "I'm sorry about Kehi, Jaigo, if you need me for anything, just say my name, I'll hear you, alright?" He gave him a kind smile and began to explore the inn for a place to practice for the night, he found a piano, over by the staircase, he smiled and jogged over to it. He tested the notes, it was perfect, "hey Midna, can you come out here for a second?" She soon appeared, sitting on top of the piano above the keys, "what is it, Link?" She asked curiously.

"Can you give me your hands for a few seconds?" He asked her, she floated down and held her hands out to him, he folded them both up and held them on his right hand, while his left hand hovered over them. He began to focus and activate the Triforce, Midna's hands began to glow with a yellow light, it surprised her a little bit, but soon the light faded and she looked at her hands in confusion. "Try to play something on the piano, please" he asked, she shrugged her shoulders and removed her helmet, in a burst of darkness, she returned to her normal, elegant form. She gave Link her helmet to hold onto and she sat on the stool, she then started to play this song, trying her best, it was beautiful yet sad, despite how short it was.

She looked at her hands in amazement when she was finished, then she looked at Link, "thank you, Link, for this talent, but, why did you do this?" He chuckled a little, "isn't it obvious? I want you to help me tonight when we entertain everyone." She smiled gently and stood up, she took back her helmet and snapped her fingers, it disappeared in a burst of dark shards for now, "I'd be honored to help you Link." He smiled kindly and gave her a hug, which she returned, tightly, "thank you" he let her go right after.

"Hey Sard" he asked as he walked over to him, Midna followed him by his side, "where will I be playing my music tonight?"

ShiroChaan 03-25-2009 11:23 PM

Sardonis looked over to Link and smiled, "On the stage, of course." He pointed toward the piano, "I'm sure Kehi wouldn't mind if you used his piano..." Sard watched his reflection in the bar and smiled, "I'd love to hear piano music again... Kane comes close to being talented, but the song your lovely friend, Midna, just played sounds just as nice as the songs our good friend used to perform."

Clorissa 03-26-2009 12:01 AM

Euphoria sipped at her wine and enjoyed the short tune, smiling very sweetly to herself. Music was such a pleasure to her. Looking around the bar, she saw a new face, apparently someone who would play the music. Holding her glass delicately by the stem, Euphoria slowly walked, limping slightly, to where this man stood talking to Sardonis. She flashed him a dazzling smile and spoke softly, "Hey there. You're playing music tonight? What instrument?"

MurasakiCrown 03-26-2009 04:29 AM

Realizing that she was being looked at, Adelynn's face flushed deeply. It had been very unladylike of her to eat as quickly as she did. It was time to move on, though. She looked interestedly at the man who seemed to be readying himself to play music. Calmly eating a meal to music felt like a very lovely thing to do. She summed up her courage before speaking. "Um... excuse me. Would it be reasonable if I asked for a salad? Any sort would be lovely," she said, then added a "Please?" for good measure.

ShiroChaan 03-26-2009 04:39 AM

Sardonis smiled warmly to the girl and nodded, "Absolutely... I'll see what we have..." Sardonis disappeared into the kitchen shortly. He returned and wiped his hands on his apron, looking at the girl, "We have everything there is to make a Caesar salad, even some fresh cheese that Kane brought from the market this morning." He shook his bangs from his eyes and glanced at Jaigo a moment before returning his attention to her, "Does that sound alright?"

MurasakiCrown 03-26-2009 05:11 AM

Adelynn smiled at Sardonis brightly. Caesar salad was among her favorites. "That would be wonderful! I would very much like that." She was beginning to get exited about having decent food and some music. She found the boy's bangs rather amusing, too.
