Danny motioned to the rain, shaking off some more water. He didn't really care if he got her wet too as, (like she said) he didn't plan on catching pneumonia. "Well that's good to know," he replied with a nod, "I was afraid that I'd have to find a different house to loiter in." Actually, it wasn't a big deal for him, but it was nice to have a welcoming person as opposed to someone with a cane, shaking their fist saying "get off my lawn you crazy kid". He saw the girl turn to go back into her house, only stopping to glance...at her lawn?
He looked in the same direction and found a yellow person walking through the lawn. "Yellow coat" as it was named (hell he wouldn't make assumptions), had stopped though, meaning they probably heard the girl. He kind of wanted to shake a fist at the yellow clad person though, just to see their reaction. Hah, it would be funny to see someone scared to cross the lawn because of a teenager.

No kidding, Claire thought to the other's remark, seeing Yellow Coat stop in their tracks and turned back towards her. A boy, she soon caught on, watching him tilt his head in response. "Aww, he looks cute..." she said, seeing the adorable boy in this oversize outfit. The gray-haired girl beckoned a hand for him to come to her but when she didn't see any attempt in him moving, she took initiative and (reluctantly) took a step off her porch and into the pouring rain. The rain didn't bother Claire that much, though she wished she had an umbrella to keep her almost drenched strands out of her face or a yellow coat like, well, Yellow Coat's. She didn't want to freak him out too much, so she kept a good distance between them but good enough so that he could at least hear her. "Sorry. Did I scare you?" she asked with a small chuckle. "Don't worry, I'm not always that loud..."
((No worries, I'm pretty sure Cows will figure it out : o))

A small 'uhh' of confusion drew out slowly from Isaac's mouth as he watched the kid acting immature. He looked nervously at the other boy, wondering if he was mentally sound. Perhaps some sort of disorder where he was waaayyy too immature? But, no, he was probably just normally that way. It was the first time someone was on the ground at Isaac's feet though, a new experience for him indeed. In such a situation, what was one supposed to do? Apologize profusely right back? Perhaps kick the person, or continue yelling? No, that would be far too cruel.
In response to being questioned if he was certain, he kindly stated, "Of course I'm sure, if I wasn't, I'd still be yelling, right?"
With a small smile, he watched the boy as he looked up. It really did look like Colin, but he didn't want to get his hopes up. Chances were that he'd be all 'YAY!! COOOLLLIIIINNNN!!!!' just to figure out it was indeed some stranger. Then, he'd probably be stuffed in a mental institution for spontaneously being over-friendly. Tilting his head with the boy to maintain a right-side up viewpoint of the person's face, rather than a slanted one, he listened to his question. Convenient, for he had been wondering the same thing.
Pondering for a brief second on how best to answer this question in a friendly sounding manner, he opened his mouth and responded, "Well, if you know someone by the name of Isaac Clarks, then yeah, you know me from somewhere. If not, then maybe... You're mistaking me for someone else. You do, though, look like a friend of mine."

Colin sighed a little, letting his shoulders sag into a more relaxed gesture. He fully believed that he really wasnt much offended by him running into him. It didnt stop him from feeling bad though. And he did. He wasnt usually the kind of person to knock someone down in the dirt after all. But knowing he wasnt too soar about it helped calm down his nerves.
"Good..." he said with a sigh and a little smile. He seemed much nicer now and god he acted just like his old buddy. They had been really good friends once uppon a time. He really missed him when he had moved. Heck, he still missed him. So when Isaac blurted out his name Colin was on him, nearly tackling him to the ground and bouncing around like a kid on Christmas.
"ISAAC!! Isaac! Oh my gosh i cant believe its really you!! I thought id never see you again after i moved. I missed you like crazy! Im not kidding! I cried when i left because of you! I was a kid of course, but still! How have you been!?" Colin gushed happily.

((Cow-kun is taking awhile to reply, so I'm just gonna reply anyways. If Cow-kun has a complaint, he can gnaw my head off.))
Looking a little nervously towards the grey haired girl, he considered shaking his head in response to her questions. After all, that was pretty much the default response. Still, she was taller than him and had a commanding atmosphere that put him a little on edge, not to mention her unorthodox introduction. Ashton was pretty sure she meant well, but still, one had to be careful. It was hard to tell who was and wasn't a bad person in the twisted world they lived in, and he knew that better than anyone else. So, instead of shaking his head, he nodded it bashfully, putting his hands deep into his pockets with care, as not to crush what was already in there.
Seeing her step out so boldly into the rain startled the boy a bit and he wonder just what her motive was. Quickly, he consoled himself that it was nothing more than something to help her hear him better and for him to hear her, though he had no intentions of saying a word. Having calmed down a bit, he considered moving closer to her, but stopped mid motion and returned to fidgeting nervously, eyes on toes. It'd only taken one quick glance back at the boy on the porch to change his mind. The boy looked to be quite a formidable person, and reminded the blond boy of some of the gang members at his school. Yup, definantly a fighting type. It was one thing to approach a single person, but two was too much. Instead, he rooted himself in place and waited for Claire to continue.

((Actually, I was waiting on your reply. I know Cows, (she) will catch up...eventually.))
Awww, he's too cute! Claire thought, her more feminine/fangirl side taking over a fraction of her brain. Of course, that part of her mind was distracting her from the rain, that had now drenched her (and short robe) completely. Actually, now she was thinking about it and used a hand to slick some of her hair back out of her face. Claire did wonder if she had frightened the younger, her kneeling down to be at eye level with him once he moved back instead of forward. "Aw, come on. I don't bite younger kids." she coaxed with a sigh, as she saw him glance back to the guy on her porch. "Oh don't mind him, he's just a harmless hobo." she snickered, standing up and crossing her arms. "Other than that, got a name?" the gray-haired one asked with a now titled head.

"Pfft, how old is he? Twelve?" scoffed Danny, crossing his arms. Yes, he had quite the mouth on him and yes, he wasn't afraid to use it (even offhandedly). Though, the gray-haired girl thought differently as she had taken the initiative to go and greet the boy, even without an umbrella. Smooth move there girl. Don't take an umbrella. Do run the risk of catching the flu. He allowed a small chuckle to escape though. He shouldn't be talking. He only came in marginally better rain wear. Still, he stayed where he was, not following her lead. He wondered why he had never seen that boy before.
He had seen that gray haired girl somewhere before, or so he thought. Yet this kid was completely unknown by him. Shrugging he bit his lip, holding back the temptation to ask who the person was and instead, stepped back farther in the porch and leaned into the wall. For the most part, he didn't bother to listen to much of what the girl explained, only tuning in when he was called a hobo. I'm not a hobo salt and pepper! he exclaimed in his head.

((Ack! Sorry. >.< I'm a little slow on those matters...))
Ashton quickly came to realize that Claire had no itentions of getting out of the rain. Though she was getting drenched, there didn't seem to be any thought put towards getting dry. Noting with a quick glance that her male companion had moved back to lean against the wall, a safe enough position for Ashton to be comfortable with, the blond took a few hesitant steps forward so that he was a good ways closer to Claire than before. Even if he hated the idea of being so close to other people, he hated the idea of having to repeat himself even more.
"Ashton," he responded, the volume of his voice landing somewhere between a whisper and normal speech. And I'm not twelve, he added- mentally- as an after thought, though he could see where the confusion might lay. Ashton was, after all, a small boy and his timid nature came across as somewhat childish. Still, he wasn't too happy with the idea of being thought of as twelve, but he held his tongue. He didn't want to start a conflict with the brunette. Not in the slightest.

Once again as the rain continued to pour, Claire used both hands and slicked back her hair entirely since it was more in her face than ever. That, her body, and pretty much everything was either dripping from or sticking to her frame. The effects of cold were starting to take over before she raised an eyebrow at Ashton when he stepped forward and more closer to her. She only grinned at how small he looked, but didn't know exactly how old he was and such. "Ashton, eh?" she repeated, the name fitting him almost completely. "Well then, I'm Claire," she told him, a wet and slippery hand held out for him to shake. At least they now knew he spoke...
"Though," Claire trailed off, her now looking back to the loiterer on the porch. "Haven't I seen you around, hobo?"

[[Ooc: Sorry about the slow reply.]]
Seeing as the kid seemed to have calmed down somewhat, Issac breathed a slight sigh of relief. Having just introduced himself, he was hoping to get some sort of name in return. Although he would have really liked it to be Colin, he knew that it wouldn't be. After all, wouldn't he tell him when he moved back? Watching the kid's reaction to his name, Isaac let out an 'eep' of surprise as the kid practically tackled him to the ground. He had to thrust his foot back as support so he didn't fall over and possibly crack his head on the sidewalk. No doubt that would be a painful experience, and no, there was not a first time for everything.
Hearing the kid burst out with a bunch of exclamations all strung together, Isaac blinked for a bit, his brain taking a second to process this. The whole 'missed when moved away', the kid's voice, and the fact that there was no doubt this kid looked like Colin allowed Isaac's brain to put the facts together and come up with an 'amazing' deduction. Here was Colin, back, somehow, giving him a hug and spazzing out.
A grin spreading across his face, the silver haired boy embraced his friend right back, happy as can be. He had missed the other boy tons over the years, and was overflowing with joy at being able to see him again. "I missed ya too, I'm so glad you're back!" He exclaimed in a half squeeing voice.
Calming down the slightest bit, he stated happily, still clinging to Colin, "I've been rather well, especially after finding out about the wonders of graffiti! What about yourself? "

Autumn woke up to the soft drumming of rain pelting the roof of her large home. She sat up on her large bed, still tired, and rubbed her eyes before making her way over to her bay window. Autumn sat down on the soft, pillow covered seat and watched silently as droplets of rain trailed down the cold glass. The quietness was cut short when a fit of coughs made their way up Autumn's throat. Time for the meds... she thought. Autumn walked over to her marble bathroom and brushed her teeth. Once the deed was done, she cupped her hands under the cold water and splashed her face with it to get herself fully awake. She wiped away the water with a lavender scented towel then glanced at her reflection in the mirror. Her once perfectly tanned skin was now pale and unhealthy looking from months of confinement to her bed and the hospital. Autumn had always been skinny, but now she looked like a twig, too unnaturally thin and her once vibrant eyes looked dulled and distant.
Autumn left the bathroom, closing the door behind her so that she wouldn't have to look in the mirror again and went through the kitchen into the breakfast room. Her room used to be on the 2nd floor but her brother had insisted that Autumn move her bedroom to the guest suite on the first floor so that she wouldn't have to waste any unnecessary energy on walking down the long, winding staircase from the second floor. As usual, the house was empty. Autumn's older brother Andrew was away on some business trip in Miami and the cleaner lady had already left earlier that morning after coming in at her daily time to tidy up the house. Autumn wasn't very hungry- but then again, she'd long since lost her apetite- so she instead grabbed a glass of water, drank half of it, then took the pills that she was suppose to take 3 times a day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pills were suppose to "surpress her growing cancer" but she wasn't stupid. Autumn knew that nothing would be able to cure her cancer (she wasn't trying to be negative, just facing the facts), but she took them anyways to prevent her brother from worrying even more than he already did.
Suddenly, the house felt almost too empty and quiet and Autumn just felt the need to be outside. She went back into her room and changed into a long sleeved shirt and jeans, then back out and into the closet in the front foyer that held all her coats and shoes. Autumn pulled on a pair of Ugg boots and a trench coat, grabbed an umbrella and keys, then went out the large, oak front doors. By this time, the rain had already started to slow into a drizzle and Autumn's boots sloshed a little in the puddles of water on the sidewalk. She didn't really know where she was walking, but Autumn was glad for a chance to go outside.
Somehow, she managed to end up at the old mansion. It used to be her home until her father had shot himself in the living room when her mom had died. Autumn started to tremble at the thought of all the scarlet red blood...splattering over her...She shook her head and looked across the street at the dark, boarded up house. Autumn started to run away, down the street, needing to get away from the cursed place as fast as possible. Soon, she reached the old playground. Of course no one was there today because of the rain but Autumn didn't care. She went to sit down on one of the swings, panting. She pushed herself a little, letting the swing rock her back and forth while she closed her eyes, trying to think of better things.

"Haven't I seen you around salt and pepper?" Danny asked back jokingly. She really was familiar. He was sure that she had seen and spoken to that face somewhere else before. At school perhaps? There were quite a few faces at the learning institution and he hadn't expected to memorize all of them, but her face...and her voice were particularly vivid to him. Although, being called a "hobo" was not. He didn't know anything about the other boy though. He had never seen nor heard of him which was weird since the two seemed to live in the same neighborhood.
He got off the wall and walked towards the rain, only stopping short of the rain since he didn't want to end up more wet than he already was. That girl and the younger(?) boy would come, probably. Come to think of it, why didn't he just enter the house? The door was open and the girl was out in the rain. He could lock them out for kicks too...No, he had better ethics than that and karma was always a bitch.

Ashton considered giving a verbal response to Claire's introduction, but decided otherwise. He didn't exactly have the nerve for it at the moment, and wasn't too sure whether or not he could trust his voice not to tremble. All this social interaction was making him quite nervous, not to mention the fact that- if things were to turn for the worse- he'd have no where to go running to. His mother wasn't home and this was his first time meeting anyone in his neighborhood before. Needless to say, Ashton was a bit of a loner, not quite a shut in. Shut-ins stayed in the house, and that was the last place Ashton would be caught alone. Especially after- but he didn't let himself think about it. Thinking meant remembering and he knew he couldn't cope in any sort of social situation with that fresh on his mind.
Extending a small, pale hand he placed it inside of the one Claire had extended, reciving the gesture. Carefully, he made sure not to let his hand shake, but the tremors still came through, at least partially. Once his hand was his again, he retracted it to sit in his pocket, eyes still fixed on toes. That was, at least until he heard movement on the porch. Looking up a bit, somewhat startled- as he'd thought the "hobo" was content standing by the wall- he noticed that the boy had moved quite a bit closer. Shuffling back a step, he tilted his head back towards his feet. Not one to be caught unprepared, though, Ashton made sure to keep a close eye on the brunette out of the corner of his eye.
Silently, Ashton let them talk right over his head, figuratively at least, without saying a word. While the three of them seemed to all live in the same neighborhood, Ashton had never once seen either of the two people that he was talking to. On the other hand, both Claire and the yet-unnamed brunette seemed to have seen each other around before, possibly at school, possibly somewhere else, but somewhere at least. This brought Ashton to assess his status as a shut-in, but he made no vow to change. It was safer that way, or so he thought.

Autumn decided to head home; she was starting to get cold, despite her thick coat and boots. As she walked down the street of large houses that belonged to the more "upper-class" residents of the town, she spotted three people on someone's porch. The 3 looked vaguely familiar and as Autumn walked closer, she thought she recognized one of the people as Danny...her old crush. Her eyes widened in surprise and as Autumn strolled past the house, she gave a little wave.
Her old self used to be way more outgoing and talkative...but things were different now. Autumn quickly put her hand back down and walked away faster. She was so concentrated on getting home that she tripped and stumbled on a rock. Autumn felt her face go red as she got up, embarrassed that she'd fallen down in front of those other people that may or may not be people that she knew. Autumn sighed, knowing that her pants were probably all wet now. She turned around in her path and headed back to the playground, keeping her head down.

The rain quickly became no concern to the brunette as her mind was focused on different cars. Yeah, she was totally distracted, something that happened quite often when she ran. Currently she was pretty wet, from being out so long, but she didn't really care too much. But just as she had predicted, her shoes were in a sorry state, good thing she'd decided against wearing the new ones. Letita was a block or so, at least, from the school by now and splashing through puddles as she went. When her attention returned to the real world, she was crossing the street and she realized that it was back to a drizzle. As she crossed the street she decided that it felt like her whole body had fallen asleep. But the minute her feet were on the other sidewalk her mind had returned to cars.
Letita's mind was filled with thoughts of the VAZ-1111 Oka, while it was a Russian car she had found herself quite attached to it. The only place she'd seen it was online though, but she'd seen some local listings for it a couple months ago, so she could still dream. Of course she could go for the version released in the US, the Oka NEV ZEV, but she wasn't fond of the twenty-five miles per hour speed limit. Pair that with the fact that the car was light enough to be move by a small football team and it really wasn't an attractive option. And while that fact alone should make her dislike the traditional Oka, she found it instead a sort of endearing trait and tried to find a way to put a tracking beacon on it, or get some weights to keep in the trunk that would prevent that situation, or maybe help her find the car after that. The brunette really hoped that she'd find it and not have to pay a lot for it though. She also wanted to find it in pink.
With her mind thinking about stuff totally unrelated to what she was doing, it was left up to the other people on the sidewalk to get out of her way. And it worked out kind of well since she was running closer to the curb, where people didn't really walk too much. Letita blinked her eyes a couple times and smiled, she wasn't too far from the car lot now. In a spur of excitement she took her brisk jog up in speed to something just a bit slower than a dash. While it dimly registered in her mind that there were people standing in her path, it was too late and she was going too fast to do anything about it. Without so much as a warning she collided with the back of a man hugging someone else, probably with enough force to knock the two over. Well, this could be awkward.
((Letita totally ran into Isaac there, who was hugging Colin. :3
&& Chocolate, you should probably slow down with what Autumn's doing 'cause if she's always moving it's hard to talk to her.
Edit; Oh, I updated the rules a while back, be sure to check them out. <3))

Feeling the softer hand in hers, Claire gave a small shake before seeing Ashton's limb shake a bit on his own, though it wasn't from the small gesture. With a raise of an eyebrow, the girl held her tongue and didn't ask him why he did so and shrugged it off as nerves. She nodded and watched him place his hand back into his pocket before he looked over her shoulder and stepped back. It only made the girl look back in curiosity, seeing that the brunette had stepped out further and into the open. "God, you're scaring him, Person-I've-Seen-Before!" she called back with a shaking fist.
With a sigh, Claire lowered her fist before turning back to the probably more frightened Asthon. "Wanna come inside? I promise to keep him away and it's too cold out here." she asked him, wondering if he was going somewhere in the first place. Though, she was being hypocritical as she was already dripping wet. Of course, the gray-haired girl caught notice of another person across the street who seemed to both stare at and wave at them before falling on her face and running off. Uh, was she being friendly or does she seem familiar.. Claire thought, with a shrug as she went back to the boy for his response.

Colin gave Isaac one more big squeeze before releasing him. He had a feeling that hugging him much longer would have made anyone uncomfortable. But that didnt stop him from wanting to. Ether way he gave it a rest and smiled at him eagerly.
"Oh Ive been great! Well, not this morning in particular, but in general ive been good. Nothing too exiting though. Not like you i guess. Graffiti huh? Thats a new one," Colin laughed slightly.
He was going to add more to the statement but before he could another body rammed into the two of them. Colin let out a little squeak as he catapulted towards the ground. The only reason he didnt do a face plant into the pavement was because he grabbed onto Isaac by his collar. Staring at the ground for a moment, he straightened himself up and chuckled, pulling his friend up with him.
"Hahah, Karma is a cruel mistress. Are you two alright?" He asked with concern and brushed himself off.

Isaac listened to what Colin said, and began to reply, however, he was severely interrupted. Someone ran into his back, and they hit him with much force. Getting tipped over, again? This made it the second time that morning. Someone must have had some grudge against him being able to stand upright. He felt himself begin to tip, and briefly worried about crushing Colin. However, he was nowhere near heavy enough to do so. Mostly, Isaac managed to stay somewhat upright, and it seemed Colin prevented catastrophe by grabbing his collar. Though having it pulled on was a little uncomfortable, he figured it was better than someone possibly injuring themselves on the pavement. Letting himself be pulled up, he shook his head slightly, utterly confused at what just happened.
Hearing Colin question how the other two were, he stated, "I'm fine, as far as I know."
However, he didn't know if the person who ran into him was okay, so he looked at the person and gave them a look that asked, 'Are you okay?' seeing as he felt parroting Colin and asking the same question would seem a little rude of him. People could get easily annoyed by that, and he didn't want to make this situation any more of a nuisance than it already was. From what he saw, the other person was a girl and reminded him of someone he knew. Her hair was the totally wrong color, though, so it couldn't be her. After all, her hair was blue, and, judging by its length, would still have some of the dye left in it, right? The boy was indeed confused, and figured that today would be an eventful one after all.
