Yukina looked at him."sort of .. i was about to get a waterbottel out of my frige,then i felt a cold draff and a sharp pain in my neack..things got blury and i blacked out" she said zipping up the duffel bag.
"but for the first...5 or 10 minites we will have to stick to the shadow",he said looking at the sun. |
Seth looked at her, feeling awful... and angry. Angry at the vamp who had attacked her... If he could get his paws on that leech.. He sighed, looking at her. "You were bitten by a vampire.. They didn't try to kill or turn you or anything... yet. We think they were planning on coming back later to.. finish." He looked down, not liking that idea. "Anyways.. that's why we need to get you back to my place before dark. Done packing?"
Cara smiled, looking at Kimaru. "I think I can live with that." |
Yukina lookedat him in shock when he told her about the vampire.Then blinking a few times she nodded."y-yah im done" she said throwing the duffel bag over her sholder."lets go"
Kimaru smiled."laright lets go",he said heading for the door" |
Seth nodded, catching a look at the setting sun from her window. He picked Yukina up, carrying her on his back, and rather than going the long way, down the stair, he opted for jumping out the window. Seth landed carefully on his feet, staying steady, and started running, at a somewhat normal pace, back to his apartment.
Cara followed Kimaru towards the door, sneaking a look in her compact to make sure her hair/make up looked okay. |
Kimaru stoped at an elivator.And hit the down botton and waited.
Yukina looked at him with worry.This had to be tireing on him. |
Cara waited for the elevator in the awkward silence, walking in when it opened up.
Seth caught Yukina's worried look, and gave her a reassuring smile. "You should be more worried about yourself. I can take care of myself.." He used the stairs to go up at his apartment building, stopping at his door. He unlocked it, gently setting Yukina down and holding the door open for her. |
Kimaru enterd and relaxed as he selected the main lobby floor and looked at her."so what would you like to do tonight?"
Yukina blinked."yes but...what if that vampire comes after you for helping me?",she asked as he set her down and looked at him with extream worry."i...i dont want to loose the one person i have in my life",she said looking down.Trying to hiide her worried tyears from him. |
Cara blinked for a second in surprise at the question. "Uhh.. Well you mentioned a restaurant yesterday.. Did you have any other plans?"
Seth turned, gently wrapping his arms around Yukina. "Hey.. I'll be fine. Don't underestimate me.. I'll take take of you. Promise." He tilted her chin up, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "But.. what do you mean by 'the one person in your life'?" |
"well defenetly a resturant .. but we can go to the movies..anything really"
Yukina blushed when he kissed her forhead then blushed a bit more when he asked his quesion."uh...n-never mind",she said and went into the apartment. |
Cara smiled. "The movies sound good to me." She looked at him, not really knowing what to expect from the date.
Seth caught her hand, gently pulling her back. "Please.. Answer me." |
Yukina looked at him still blushing."i-its nothing really",she said looking down.Sh didt want to ruin what she had. By saying something stupid like , the only person in my life that i care about more then anything , she didnt want to say thats and make things okward.
Kimaru smiled."okay dinner movies then a run?" |
Seth smiled, seeing her blush, then let go of her arm. He followed her into his apartment, shutting and locking the door behind them. It was a nice sized apartment, the door they walked through opened up into a living room, and had a few hallways leading out of it.
Cara smiled back at him. "Sounds great." |
Kimaur smiled then looked as the sun disaperad and then he walked out onto the street."hmm nice out"
Yukina looked around the room."i like it ... its nice" |
Cara looked up at the sky, seeing the first few start appear. "Yeah... it is." She smiled.
Seth smiled, rubbing his neck. "Thanks.. Um.. We have a guest bedroom you can stay in." |
Yukina looked at him and smiled."oh .. alright sounds good to me"

Seth grinned, gently grabbing her hand and leading her down a hallway. "Here ya are." There was a set of double doors at the end that he opened, revealing a decent looking bedroom. The curtains and bed sheets were a crimson color, and the walls were a soft grey. Seth motioned to the door next to that one. "And you can use this as a bathroom."
Cara heard a few distant howls, and became a bit nervous. The pack was already angry with her... and she didn't want to run into them. She gently grabbed Kimaru's arm, coming a little closer to him. |
Kimaru blinked and looked at her,he gently yet protectively poot an arm around her.
Yukina looked around."wow ... this is a lovely room",she said going in,still holding his hand. |
Seth smiled. "I'm glad you like it.. You might have to stay for a while... until we find the vampire. Sorry."
Cara looked at Kimaru, smiling. "So.. Do you.. go to school? I know you can't go out in the sunlight, but..?" |
Yukina looked at him."thats fine..behids, i bet youed feel alot better with me staying here",she said in a jokeing voice.
Kimaru smiled."sometimes" |
Seth chuckled softly. "Yes.... Yes I do."
Cara nodded, feeling a bit awkward again. The silence made her nervous... the nervousness made her silent. |
Kimaru looked up."hey theres the resturant",he said and opend the door or her.
Yukina looked at him.She handt expected an answer.Then she relized she was still holding his hand."oh uh...sorry",she said letting go. |
Cara smiled, walking in then waiting for Kimaru.
Seth smiled, obviously he hadn't minded. "It's alright.. I'm gonna go take a shower. You can.. uhh get settled. Make yourself at home." He then walked out of the room, and into his, closing the door behind him. |
Yukina watched him leave she went to say something but sighed.Looking down she sat on her bed looking down at the floor. She looked at her bag and unpacked everything sticking the clothse she had brought in drawers.Then with a sigh she laye on the bed and stareing out the window she fell asleep.
Kimaru followed in behind herand looked for a table then looked at her."pick a place to sit" The vampire that had attacted Yukina enterd Yukinas apartment.He snareled when he didnt see her then.Then snifed.Two other had been there.Looking around he started following the sent. |
Seth had taken a quick shower, slipping on some clean clothes, he walked back over to Yukina's room to see what she was doing. He saw she was sleeping and smiled, gently pulling a blanket over her. He sat in a chair, in the corner of the room and watched her sleep quietly.
Cara looked around the restaurant, spotting a booth next to a window. She motioned towards it "Is that booth okay?" She grinned at him. |
Kimaru nodded and takeing her hand he walked to the booth.
Yukina smiled in her sleep feeling the blankets come up over her. The vampire had followed the sent to Kimrus place.He jumped up to the window and went in.He looked around but found nothing.Takeing a deep breath his eyes shot over to Seths place and he smekred. |
