Rain had started to pour over the town. Kazuke's soaked honey brown hair hung in his puffy violet eyes. He slowly made his way up the wet steps to the shrine. He was covered in bruises and scratches. He held his bleeding shoulder that had a bandana as a bandage, one eye was black and nearly swollen shut. Kazuke licked the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Kitsume: *sitting inside the shrine, candles lit all around him as he's working on some kind of ceremony with a small crystal. His eyes are shut as he chants quietly*

Kazuke reached the top step and had began to walk closer to the shrine as his vision began to blur. He opened his mouth to say something, but all that came out was a hoarse croak before he colapsed to the ground as the heavy rain continued to wash over him.

Kitsume: *looks up as he hears the thud from him falling the the ground. Stands up and looks out the door*...*rushs out and turns him over gently and tests to see if he has a pulse*...still alive...*gently picks him up and walks over to the small building to the right of the main temple and opens the door and starts to treat his wounds*

Kazuke lay uncontious as the man tended to his wounds.

Kitsume: *finishes dressing all the wounds and puts a plain black t-shirt on kaz. He puts his hand on his forehead to make sure that he's not running a fever from the shock and having walked through the rain. Looks around and grabs the lavender incense and lights it placing it next to kaz to help him relax.* I should finish the ceremony, he'll be fine for a an hour or two. *stands up and starts to leave.*

An hour or so later Kazuke started to come to. He groaned as he sat up and looked around. He looked down at is now dressed wounds and the tee shirt. 'How...?' He looked around curiously before standing up.

Kitsume: *Putting everything away from the ceremony, blowing out the candles and making sure he didn't leave any ashes behind on the floor. After fifteen minutes of double checking everything he starts to head back to the building where he put kaz, so he can change into some dry clothes and also check on his condition*

Kazuke opened the door to the room and looked out into the hall. He catiously stepped out, looking around.

Kitsume: *gets into the house and walks over to the other room close to where kaz is and lights a candle as he enters the room. He then starts to get changed and drying his hair.*

KAzuke saw a dim light an poked his head in the room. He blushed when he saw Kitsume getting change and quickly ducked back into the hall way.

Kitsume: *turns around after hearing something in the hall way, he finishes buttoning up his pants and opens the door, as he looks out in the hallway he sees kaz and relaxs a bit* I see you woke up faster then I thought you would. well are you feeling better? *goes back into the room and grabs a shirt and puts it on while he steps back out into the hall way* You still should be resting though.

Kazuke opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He bit his bottom lip as he looked down.

Kitsume: hm? well anyway come on. *puts his hand out to help him up* you should still try and get some more rest, the fact that your up and about is good but you shouldn't push it. I'll get something for you to eat in a little bit.

Kazuke nodded as he got up. He bowed slightly as he wondered to himself why he couldn't talk.

I'll get some tea and something for you to eat here soon. I just need to take care of a few things before hand, it should be about a half hour. *watches him walk off*

Kazuke nodded and wandered back to the room he had came from.

Kitsume: *walks out of his room taking his wet clothes with him and goes into another room with a washer and dryer and throws the clothes into the dryer and sets it on low heat and turns it on. He walks out of the wash room and then out of the small building back out into the rain and dashs over to the main house to get to the kitchen. About a half hour later he knocks on the screen to kaz's room.* are you still awake?

"Y-yea." Kazuke said quietly.

Kitsume: *opens the door and walks in.* feeling any better? *sets the tray of hot tea and some hot soup down for him*

Kazuke nodded a bit as he took the tea, "Thank you."

Kitsume: no problem. well I'm going to bed, if you need anything you know where my room is. *stands up and starts to walk out*

"Th-thank you." He said queitly as he began to eat the soup.

Kitsume: *turns his head and nods to him and then walks out and back into his own room to get ready to get some sleep*

After Kazuke finished the soup he curled back up in the bed, wondering if he could sleep after what had happened that day.
