Hunsadia's easy grin faltered as he got the faint feeling of paranoia, "Are you okay, lover? You seem worried."
Glancing around, the lord felt uneasy suddenly, squeezing her hand gently. "Shall we go then, oh darling rebel?"

"Of course, let's."

When they got to the river she let go of him and leaned against the tree. With a mischievous smile the model folded her arms and tilted her head back to watch. "Why don't you go first?"

Anna was already having doubts about murdering him... she figured she'd better work up to such a radical betrayal, maybe something a little less brazen like stealing his clothes.

"Make sure there's no fish in there, I don't like fish swimming around with me, they're slimy."

Josana pouted slightly, unmoved. "No! You'll not come in, or hide my clothes like last time!"
The male shivered as he flashed back to the last time.. The 6 mile walk home to avoid being seen and still giving the gate guard the time of her life when she saw him try and sneak in...

The young lord sighed, running his gloved hand through his jet black hair. "Lets go in together. Be brave."

She narrowed her eyes again. "You're just trying to get revenge from that. Tell you what, I'll just go in with my clothes on. It's just a sun dress. You, on the other hand..."

Her lips split into a large grin. "Might need to take a few layers off. Trench coat, pants, button down shirt. It'd look kinda silly."

Anna bent down and slid off her heels. She neatly placed them side by side and ran to the edge, diving in off the tall sides before she could change her mind. At the moment it was too indecisive to hesitate. Kill him, love him, kill him, love him. Hard choice.

Josana shrugged, dropping his jacket, gloves, and upper shirt. Taking a deep breath, the male then ran into the water with his jeans and a thin vest like shirt on, whooping from the thrill.

She let the current take her down stream a little until a boulder caught her. After a short struggle Anna was able to pull herself out to sit on the edge. With her feet still in the water, Anna looked to Josana, still smiling.

"Tell me. Your mood earlier today was foul. What changed it? I'm surprised it was this easy to get you to be civil again."

Josana crashed his way through the water as he saw Anna struggle. She got free just as he reached her. Denied his heroic moment, he pouted. "I guess," he said softly, "I realised how mean I've been to you lately. I heard once that women shop allot to cope with boredom or loneliness."

She laughed at his face and kicked the water to splash him.
"You're generally a mean and blunt person always. You've chased away my friends. I'll account that to jealousy?"

Anna folded her arms and rubbed her skin when a breeze caught her. The wind always made water seem freezing. "I do love shopping, though... like my dress. It was only $200."
Her eyes looked down to the light pink fabric, made dark by the water. That's right, 200 dollars for what looked like a pillow case with sleeves. And, it was now ruined. Oh, the life of luxury.

"I suppose I'll get another one tomorrow. What to come with me? We can stop by the lingerie place on the way home and I'll let you pick something out."
She gave him a wink, but then laughed at the idea of that actually happening.

Josana spat the water from his open mouth with a disgusted look, leaping at his wife and tugging her into the water with a playful laugh, tickling her sides in revenge for the victorious splash. "Splash me, will you?" he teased, offering no escape from his dancing fingers..

Anna screamed and tried getting away. Tickling never ended well- she always ended up not being able to breathe. Or at least got the hiccups from laughing too much, and that was quickly approaching.

"Jos! Knock if off (hic!) You're (hic) SEE, look what you did, now I can't stop!"

She reached out and tried to push his arms away and defend herself, but that was very difficult when trying to tread water and stay up.

Josana let out an evil snigger and drew back a second, watching her fondly. He didn't know what had changed but he felt far better disposed towards his wife in the last few hours. Impulsively, the male pecked her cheek gently.

Her eyes went wide in amazement. A kiss? She immediately stopped splashing around and turned to look at him, her eyes brimming with overwhelming happiness. Although, deep inside her mind someone was screaming and pounding on the walls. Don't fall for him again! Think! Think of the money!

Anna jumped towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck, then her legs around his waist.
"You're lucky you're so charming..."
Before he could object or think about what she said, Anna kissed him on the lips.

Josana started at the words, shocked at what she'd said, and not a little confused. What did she mean? If he wasn't charming, what was his alternative? Death?
The male mentally laughed shakily at the idea of his sweet little wife as a killer, concentrating on kissing her back.

Oh how he was wrong.
Sweet? Like salt.

Anna pulled back for air and stared into his eyes. She felt torn, and all she could do was smile at her husband. "I... don't think we need that counseling anymore."
Her lips pulled back to a grin as she gave him another lighter kiss.

Josana loved salt so it was cool.

"It may still be wise." he advised gently. "But if they suggest we go swimming, we can tell him we beat them to it. "

Her eyes wandered towards the shore line. She seemed to have a glazed look on her face now. "I'm done swimming, I think."

It was too hard to stay in the water now. It felt like she was swimming in failure itself. She had the intent to kill him, and now they were kissing? It left her head spinning. "What about you?"

Josana nodded slowly, offering a hand to help guide the female out of the water. His eyes glittered over her a moment and he allowed a loving smile to cross his lips as his clothes dripped.
Turning to get his shirt, the young lord glanced at his wife and said softly, "You know I love you, don't you?"
Turning back, the male's eye was caught by a large glittery crystal like rock under his clothing. Gripping it, he rose and span quickly with it to show his wife, realizing with horror at the last minute that it was aimed in a perfect arc at her head. Fighting it, he knew with a sick jolt that it'd hit her hard. The heavy stone had too much momentum.

"I didn't know for awhile but now I do--"

Before she could finish her sentence, though, she felt something hard hitting against her face. Shock was over ridding the pain, and she brought a hand up to feel the swelling bruise on her eye.

"What the hell did you do?! You monster!"

She walked onto shore, her legs splashing the water violently. "You say you love me, then you try to bash my face in?!"

Anna felt light headed from the sudden movement, along with the blood that started to trail down from a deep cut below her eyebrow.

"What's wrong with you?! That's it-- you can abuse me emotionally all you want, I can tolerate that. But this, the SECOND you hit me like this, and I'm done. I'm calling the police. Just wait, you monster. They'll see you for who you really are."

Anna didn't even bother with picking up her $1,000 dollar high heels. She stormed past them onto the trail, walking as fast as she could back home.

"Anna! No! It was an accident!" Josana cried, ignoring his jacket and shirt as he ran after his wife. "I was trying to show you!

As he ran, his mind begun to whisper how the little girl could cause his downfall. His heart hardened at the idea and he broke into a run, stone still in his hand. He'd have to kill her. She'd destroy him while losing his wife would get him much sympathy business.

She heard his feet against the dirt road, and picked up her pace, running ahead of him. But she knew with her strength he'd catch up. Instead of waiting for the rock to hit her in the back of the head, Anna stopped and turned around to face him.

"Josana! What are you doing? You'll be ruined if you kill me. They'll find me and they'll know it was you. Stop it! I won't tell, I just want to go to the hospital. I'll say it was an accident, I promise."

Another wave of light headedness came over her. She grabbed the side of her face with both hands and swayed slightly. To steady herself she stumbled over and leaned against the nearest tree. "I promise, really."

"It was an accident," Josana said coldly, "but you never could believe anyone but yourself and your precious damn father. My words were just used to powder an already over inflated ego." He shook his head, a hand running though his hair. "You could have stopped being so heartless towards me. Towards everyone who tried to show you love, but there was no one but yourself, was there? Well not anymore." The rock slammed forwards, landing at her feet. "We're through." Spinning, Hunsadia walked back to the river.

She tried to respond, but the only thing she had energy for was to lean and hold the tree with her free hand. But that was fading, so Anna took a seat to rest against it, still holding her eye.

Inside her head her battered brain slowly swelled, leaving her feeling very odd. The wife groaned softly and closed her eyes, dropping off into unconsciousness.

Walking swiftly, Josana closed his eyes as tears blinded him again. One mistake and she had so readily labeled him badly. Was that how she saw him? He knelt by a tree, shirt half on and jacket now lying on the floor as he wept.

Papilledema was already rapidly occurring. Her optic nerves were starting to be squeezed from the pressure, making her eyes go out of control; pupil size was off, sight blurry, head ache. The pain was starting to get unbearable, and so, with another moan, Anna gave up to the darkness and slipped away. As her mind left, her body's muscles started to contract and relax rapidly. It was clear that the convulsions were a sign of serious medical injury.

Unaware, Josana rose to his feet, tugging the shirt on. Walking to the nearest tree, he smashed his face into it. He repeated it until he was bruised and bleeding, then walked calmly towards the house, an alibi already forming in his mind as he went through sharp hedges and such to walk back. As he got closer, he begun to stagger. Alarmed guards raced down. "G...Gunmen!" Josana cried, his eyes openly watering from grief over what had actually occurred. "They.. Oh Anna.. Anna.." He fell to his knees as the guards swept round, drawing weapons to protect their paymaster, one already calling emergency services. "They took Anna and beat me up to stop me following..."
