"Zoey..." Akira whispered handsomely, running his fingers on her hair as he smiled. He didn't know what got over him but in truth, he liked it.

Zoey blushed and shivered as he whispered and touched her hair. She didn't know what was happening, but she didn't mind. She liked it.

Akira smirked as he let go of her. The vampire always adored a lady's face when it blushing but Zoey's was outstanding he couldn't help it at all. Akira smiled, thinking of the promise he made himself that he wouldn't love or care for a human but after meeting Zoey he thought differently. His mind wondered from past to present. "You should sleep now, it's getting late" Akira stated, as he looked at the clock above the desk in his room that read '1:00 am', "I believe we have school tomorrow" he said remembering that his first day at an actual school would be tomorrow.
He sighed in his head, thinking of how on earth would people react to his fangs. He was just glad that they didn't stay as huge as when he feeds. I can just say i come from a family of eating meat, so my K-9 teeth grew larger over time |
Zoey looked at him. He seemed to be deep in thought again. She looked at him and then on the nearby clock on the wall. She hit her forehead. "yay for five hours of sleep" she said with a sarcastic tone to it. She looked at him and smiled "yes, we do, first day back for both of us..." She then paused and looked up at him, directly into his eyes "I promise that if your hungry before school or anything happens and your hungry.. you can find me..." She said with a small but promising smile. Her eyes closed as if on their own. Her eyes snapped open. She didn't want to sleep yet. She didn't want to wake up and he not here. She didn't want to admit she was afraid to sleep alone. She sighed and looked back at the clock.

Akira smiled giving a slight bow, "Thank you, deary" he spoke handsomely, gentle pushing her down so she laid on the bed, "I'll be here don't worry" he smiled, kissing her forehead lightly |

Zoey looked at him and closed her eyes softly as she lay down on the bed. She shivered and shut her eyes and then opened them again looking up at him. Closing her eyes, she felt his cool lips on her forehead. She nodded softly and was about to say something, but fell asleep so fast. |

Akira smiled, pulling the chair closer to the bed. He sat down watching as the girl before him slept. |

Zoey's head started tossing and turning. She was having a nightmare. In her mind: "no, please don't.." It was Akira and her in the alley where they first met, but someone was there with them. Someone was trying to hurt her and Akira went in to save her and now he was being hurt. "no.." she whispered. Out of her mind: "Akira!" she screamed as she sat up gasping, tears streaming down her cheeks. She looked around, panic stricken. She saw him and jumped out of bed and ran to him pulling him close, not letting go. |

The vampire's widen, a little confused on what happened but hug the girl as she leapt on him. "You must've had a nightmare.." he whispered softly as he heard rain pouring down on the house. "It's okay. I'm here" he smiled weakily as his fingers trailed down her hair as he petted her. ((XD I got an idea for later. Have someone come after Akira or maybe an old boyfriend of Zoey gets really jealous and Akira fights him >.< Something along those lines )) |

Zoey looked up and shivered in his arms. The thunder hit and made her jump. She blushed and scooted out of his lap. "sorry" she whispered softly as she sat back down in bed. She shut her eyes and tried to go back to sleep. ((yea! thats a good idea ^^.. o.o and Akira is like going vampire and Zoey has to stop him from killing the guy.. Zoey felt his hand on her head and closed her eyes relaxed. No more nightmares, she awoke a few hours later to see him looking at her. She blushed looking at him with sleepy eyes. (yea! hehe it sounds like fun.. unless you dont want to =3 )) |

Zoey looked at him and smiled with a blush. She put her arms in the air and stretched, looking over at the clock. "I don't know what you did... but aside from the nightmare...I slept the best I had in months.." She smiled and groaned looking at the clock. They had two hours till school. |

Akira smiled, "Well that's good then" he chuckled softly noticing her groaning at the clock. "It is almost time to get ready.." |
Zoey smiled at him and then leaned over putting her head back on the pillow. "five more minutes mom" she joked as she stood up and got out of bed stretching. When she stretched it brought her shirt up exposing her bare stomach. She looked at the clock again and groaned, looking at him smiling.

Akira blushed at the bare stomach, quickly looking down, his raven-like bangs covering his face, "I-i'll go make something for us to eat, the bathroom is over there" he said pointing to a door in his room before heading downstairs.

Zoey looked at his blush and looked down. She blushed as well and pulled down her shirt as he left the room. She smiled softly and got out of bed and went to take a quick shower. She was lucky there was a clean towel on the hook. She didn't think about that. She was in his place, not hers. She cleaned up the bathroom and came back out with her wet hair in a loose ponytail. She went downstairs, following the smell. She walked into the room and smiled. "everything smells so good.."

Akira smiled, "I don't know if you'd like it though" he spoke. There were pancakes, waffles, eggs, and anything else you can think of. "I already ate a peice of waffles so i'm fine, go ahead and eat and i'm going to get ready for school" he smiled walking up to Zoey and giving a small kiss on the cheek before proceeding up the stairs and into his room where he took a quick shower.

Zoey looked at the array of food with a small smile. "who couldn't like this stuff.. you made all this?" Asking in disbelief.. she was only gone for a half hour at most. Blushing at the kiss, watching him leave. Knowing there was no way of eating all this food she added some to her plate. This is incredible, thinking to herself, she grabbed some waffles. Finding the most comfortable chair and finally sitting down, relaxing, taking that first bite. "mmmmm" Blushing as she looked up "this tastes wonderful.." speaking and then blushing when no one was in the room with her.

Akira chuckled as he turned the water off and quickly change into a plain dark violet t-shirt that was covered by a victorian type vest and black ripped jeans. Along with the outfit he wore chains that hang down his pants giving a more teenaged punk look. He looked in the mirror as he tied his hair up, and allowed only the short strands to hang in his face and along the side of his face. He didn't want get contacts to hide his abnormal eye color, he just figured he wouldn't answer to questions that dealt with his eyes or mysteriously long K-9 teeth.
The vampire headed down the stairs, "I was making breakfast before you woke up" he chuckled softly as he grabbed for a ring that held back his thirst. He knew he'd have to wear it to his new highschool. The ring looked like a skeleton head thats arm ebraced the vampires pale finger. He ran his fingers along the ring before placing it on his ring finger. |
Zoey smiled at him and watched him grab the ring. "It was wonderful" she said with a grin. "I hope you don't mind.. I put the leftovers in the fridge and I did the dishes" smiling softly. She knew this would be an interesting day for them both. They weren't going out, but for some reason, she worried for him, wondering how he was going to do. Looking at him with a grin on her face "don't you want a quick drink before we leave?" she said tying her hair behind her ears and neck with a hair tie.

Akira smiled, "No I'm fine" he said making a hand gesture as he talked, "I've had enough to drink last night" he said looking at her. His eyes were gentle and calm yet he was still worried to the day to begin as a highschooler.

Zoey smiled at him and nodded "I want you to promise me that if you get thirsty to please please tell me.. I would rather you drink from me then someone else" she knew she sounded jealous but she couldn't help it. She then walked over, grabbing her bag and nodding. Taking his hand. A few minutes later they were at the school. Zoey happily took his hand and began to walk into the hallway. She then realized she loved this man. He was her angel, he had to be. On her way out she saw something that made her heart stop for a moment. She saw someone she didn't ever think she would see again. She froze and tensed up and forgot to breathe for a moment. If he saw her, it could be the end of everything. It was her ex. She shivered at the horrible memories and flashbacks..."can we get out of here now.. do you have super speed or something?" she asked with a fake but scared smile. |

Akira looked at Zoey, "I do but I can't use it here in public.." he hugged zoey sensing something was wrong his back faced the ex. "Are you okay?" he asked her giving her a slight kiss on her head. |
