Zoey smiled happily when he agreed. She knew he didn't like it but he did it for her. "I promise.." she said softly as she put her head back. She just needed to be close to him right now. He made her cool and right now, she felt so hot with her fever, he made her feel so much better. Closing her eyes enjoying his hands in her hair and the cool kiss to her cheek. "thank you Akira.." she said weakly as her eyes fluttered again. Her body was trying to get her to sleep as much as he was. "you and my body are on the same team" she said with a small smile. Her eyes fluttered open and shut a few more times before she finally fell to sleep.

"Sleep well, Zoey" he said softly, stroking her hair a couple times before grabbing a nearby chair and pulled it closer to the bed. Akira didn't need to sleep, being a vampire and all.
He smiled at the sight of his love...oh yes, his love. His newly found happiness, he just hoped nothing happens. He hoped she'll never leave. Unlike him, who is immortal, she can die at any given moment. She can age while he cannot, and that scared him. There was one thing though, either he can change into a human or she, herself can turn into a vampire. He sighed at the thought. ((Shall we skip? ^_^ ) |
Zoey had slept and slept for quite some time. Akira woudln't let her do anything crazy, she was in bed rest most of the time. About a month after the accident she went into his room to find him. "Akira.." she said softly. "I have had a lot of time to think about this and I thought it was time I ask you..." She went up to him and hugged him. Her arm was still off but it was much better. "I want to be with you forever Akira.. I can't bare the thought of me becoming old and you still beautiful.. I would look like your grandma if we ever went out in public.." she realized she was rambling. "what I am trying to say is.. I want to be with you forever like this.. after everything that has happened.. I love you so much.. I.. I want to be like you Akira.." she whispered the last part.

The vampire chuckled at the grandma comment. The chuckle soon disappeared when she said the last part of her sentence. "L-like me?" he said back, "I don't know if that's such a good idea. Why would you want to become like me? If it was up to me, i'd love to be human, but the only way i can be like you is if....i kill a person dear to me" he sighed knowing he could never kill Zoey. Akira looked down, and placed a hand on Zoey's arm as he thought of what she said. Doubts ran through his mind. It was a simple thing turning a human into a vampire, it didn't hurt at all well...after a while that is. |

She looked into his eyes "you have changed so much Akira.. I have seen it.. before you met me you had no heart.. but now you have one.. you couldn't kill someone like you used to be able to.." she said softly. "if I become like you then we can be together forever and no one can harm me.." she whispered. "I have read about it.. the bite only hurts for a few seconds.. and the turning.. well its said if it is with someone you love and care about then the pain is worth it.." she said softly.[/COLOR

Akira pulled Zoey into his lap as he thought about the whole changing Zoey into a bloodsucker so she won't become Akira's grandmother. He sighed, "I still don't know if it's such a good idea. I know being together is a wonderful thought, but i wouldn't want you to become a vampire like me. Having to feed off humans is the worst. He can't drink animal's blood because it makes us even weaker in the end." he sighed again. |
Zoey looked to him and sighed softly. "okay.. I understand.. you don't want to be with me forever.. that's fine.." she crawled off him and sat on the chair across from him. "there is probably another girl you will be with when I die and you will love her more then me.. I understand though.. you were with others before me.. and you will be with others after me.. don't worry I understand.. you gotta move on..." she said softly. She wasn't looking at him now. Okay, so she was being a bit dramatic, but there was truth in her words. Maybe he didn't really want to be with her forever, maybe it was a temporary relationship. "we could find a way to do it Akira.." she said softly.

Akira sighed and squatted in front of her as she sat on the chair. His hand on hers, "I want to be with you...forever. I just don't want you to live the lifestyle i have to bare" he said "That's all" he said as he stood up and leaned in to kiss Zoey.

Zoey looked over to him and let out a small gasp as he was in front of her. He moved so darn fast. His cool hands on hers "if you want to be with me and you love me as you say you do then let me help you, you don't have to bare it alone... it won't be as bad If I am with you.. we could feed off of each other.." she said softly. He seemed as if he was done with the conversation. She didn't want to make him angry so she just nodded her head. He stood up and went to kiss her, she closed her eyes and kissed him back softly.

He pulled back after a moment of the kiss, "Do you understand the sacrifices you may have to bare. Not aging while everyone does. Watching as all your friend die but you remain the same." he sighed, "At times i wished i didn't have immortally. It's not something great....it's a curse that we vampires, and other creatures like us must bare." he said, his eyes looked sad as he thought about it more.
"We, our kind, were rejected from Heaven and Hell thus eternally damned to walk among mortals." But maybe Zoey was right, if she were here with him. It wouldn't feel as lonely, but that would be selfish of him. |
Zoey sighed and looked back at him "I understand that it would mean that.. think of the positive things.. if your not around.. I can't be hurt again.." she said softly. She knew that was a low blow but.. it was true. "I can be there to help you and you are one already so you know tricks and tips to help me getting started.." she said softly. She looked away from him and sighed "I can't force you to turn me and I certainty can't find a random vampire and ask him to turn me.. the decision is yours.. I will still love you no matter the answer.." she whispered sitting back on the edge of the bed.

Akira kissed Zoey softly, "As much i would love to turn you into a vampire for you to be with me forever. We must look at the sacrifies you will have to make." he spoke, careassing her hand.
He sighed, not knowing what to do. Should he? Should he turn Zoey into a vampire?...she has yet to know the hardships of being a vampire. (Sorry i haven't been online!! I'm not at work today, so i'm responding as much as i can! ) |
Zoey looked over to him and sighed softly. She closed her eyes when he touched her hand. His cool skin making her shiver. He wasn't going to turn her and that was fine. It was his choice to make, she couldn't force him to turn her. Even when he fed from her he was very careful. Then another thought hit her "If I can't be with you forever then kill me so you can finally be happy" she said softly.

Akria was set back from that statement. "Why would killing you make me happy?" he asked, not knowing what Zoey had meant by that. There wasn't anyway he'd be happy in killing her. He'd break if he did that, with Zoey he didn't feel so alone.
Sure, he knew that she couldn't stay with him forever..or not now at least, but killing her wasn't an option. He'd rather end his life, it was true he was immortal but that never meant he couldn't die but as much as he tried when he was younger his body found a way to regenerate itself. (Yeppers! ^_^ ) |
Zoey looked at him and sighed as she said "you can become mortal again.. live a happy, normal life" she said softly. She knew she wasn't going to go her way at all. She stood and walked to the window sighing. She just looked out the window as a tear fell down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away and then looked back to him. "it's alright.. what do you wanna do today? Do you wanna see a movie or something..." she said softly.

Akira moved from the bed to behind her. His arms wrapping gently around her waist. "I don't want to become mortal, if there would be no one to enjoy it with. I really do want to spend eternity with you..don't get me wrong. I love you..Zoey." he said before spinning her around, making sure she was still in his grip.
"Okay?" he said softly, as his eyes remained fixated on hers. |
Zoey shivered as he moved his hand around his waist. "I love you too Akira..." She looked into his eyes and closed hers. "we could see the proposal..." she said softly trying to change the subject. It was supposed to be a funny video, very romantic. Maybe she would smile again. She felt so bad, she killed the mood and he was upset. She never wanted him to be upset.

"The proposal?" he asked, his hand gently letting her go. "I...don't know much about movies" he shrugged. "and i never heard of such a movie" Akira was embarrassed, he felt so....OLD!
I guess that was one good thing of being a vampire. They look young when they can range from the ages a hundred to two! |
Zoey looked to him and turned away again. "Its a comedy romance movie.." she said softly. She then turned her head and looked down. "we don't have to if you don't want to.. just an idea" she said in self defense. She didn't want to make him upset or uncomfortable anymore.

Akira smiled, pulling her closer towards him with one hand while the other grabbed hold of her chin. "I'd love to see the movie." he said softly, and gave a small peck on her neck softly. "I'm not upset or uncomfortable"

Zoey looked up to him and closed her eyes when he lifted her chin. He kissed her neck and she shivered and looked away. Why did he have to read her mind? She sighed again and looked back to him "alright.. lets go" she said with a fake smile. The movies would take their mind off of everything, so it would help.

Akira nodded, grabbing her hand. "Okay" he said leading the way outside the house and into the daylight. It was handy that he was a day-walker unlike other vampires.
"Well show me the way!" he said with a high spirited voice hoping maybe Zoey would be in a better mood. |
Zoey sighed as they walked and looked over to him, his cool hand helping in the heat outside. She smiled when he spoke higher, he was trying to make her smile and it worked. "its near the park.." she said softly as she took his hand and led him in the right direction. It was a short walk and soon enough they were there.

Akira smiled, as zoey lead him. He was a bit excited for he hasn't seen a motion film before. Maybe once, when they had projectors and silent movies.
The vampire wondered how it might be. But he was just happy being with Zoey. |
Zoey let go of his hand for a moment and walked up to the booth and spoke to the man ordering the tickets. She paid for them and turned around smiling as she handed him his ticket. She smiled as she took his hand again leading him inside. The woman took their tickets and tore them in half before letting them in telling them that they go to the right. Theater 11. "you hungry?" she asked softly. She should have asked if he was hungry before they left but that was not the best time to ask if he wanted to feed off her. She sighed and looked at the food counter then back to him.
