Today was like any other day, he had started his daily chores, and of course
making sure everything was spotless. Keeping this place clean was an all day
job with the misfits that his Lord and himself had picked up along the way.
Though they caused more trouble then they did help... They were still useful in
their own ways. As long as his Lord was happy... Then that was all that mattered.

He continued gently dusting off the trinkets in the library, along with the books,
and as always he smiled quite happily while doing so. Keeping his senses about
him, ready to come at his Lord's mention of his name, and made sure to always
be prompt when he was called. He glanced over as Bard passed the entrance of
the Library, carrying a basket of vegetables towards the kitchen, and knew that
that only meant disaster. Seconds later Maylene passed as well and that in it's
self made him worry a bit more about the chaos they were about to cause.

His Lord definitely didn't need anything to wake him up in an unpleasant way....
Quickly finishing his dusting and decided he should wake his beloved Lord in a
pleasant way before something else did.

        • The night had been much too long. Very dark… too dark... It had been one of those nights again. The kind where young Ciel couldn’t help but act childish and ask Sebastian to—no.. he didn’t even ask Sebastian, he ordered him to stay by his side until he fell asleep. He knew it was childish because of the way he’d said, ”If I’m to stay, might I take the liberty to presenting a lullaby?”. It was nights like this that made Ciel Phantomhive the most embarrassed. Even Sebastian realized he was acting like a child. He, an Earl in England, a master of the Phantomhive household, and owner of the Funtom toy company to stay with him all night until he fell asleep, like a child. Like a child who had a nightmare. The mornings that followed tended to be the ones that he wanted to laze around all day; where he wished he didn’t have work to do or tutors to listen to… not that that was the case that followed. Ciel Phantomhive however felt he could have some ease since Sebastian would never mention those things again after he did them.

Because if he did, Ciel would for sure kill him. How do you respect an Earl who is but 13 years of age? Even if he is doing something slightly respectable such as taking orders from the queen, how would you hold onto that when he requests you stay by his side while he falls asleep? When you feel so comfortable that you offer a lullaby..?

...Only Sebastian... would be allowed to do things like that. Ever.

This morning had not been too different. Last night he’d fallen asleep with his hand in Sebastian’s, and after the butler left, he’d been tossing and turning for most of the night, so when he’d wake, he’d still be exhausted.
The young lord pulled his head underneath his covers as he flipped himself over once more and buried his head into the pillow. His consciousness was still tucked away as he moved without too much realization, as is the case with most sleeping people.
Ciel clutched the sheets a bit harder after he'd moved. The boy always had a hard time waking up on his own. If not for Sebastian's being there, many days he probably would have slept away.

Sebastian finally made it to his Lord's room, silently opening the door, and glided
into his room. His foot steps were not even heard as he moved, turning on the
lamp beside his Lord's bed, and smiled at seeing him laying there clutching the
sheets. He wondered if he could be dreaming... And of what? His Lord was quite
interesting with how he acted so mature and yet.. So childish sometimes. Though
he was still just a child...

He gently sat down on the bed beside him, reaching out, gently pushing his hair
away from his face, and admired him silently for a moment. That smile of his never
leaving his face for an instant. "My Lord... It is time to rise... Breakfast will be
ready soon." He whispered softly into his Master's ear. Deciding to wake him up
differently then he usually did being he had such a rough night.

He had already sat out his Lord's clothes for today, he had done that as soon as
his young master had fallen asleep, and had calmed down. A gentle awakening
today would more then likely put him in a more pleasant mood... Well as pleasant
as it could get

        • Ciel’s eyes stayed closed with the soft voice of his butler so close to his ear. Mmm.. So close to his ear he could feel his heated breath bouncing off of it after caressing it… It felt so nice. Maybe just five more minutes. He could tell Sebastian to come back in five minutes right? Wait… something wasn't right... Ciel’s hand gripped the sheets just a bit harder before he completely let go. His eyes flung open with the new thoughts that had made their way into his head and he moved swiftly to sit up and face away from Sebastian, a new, light shade of pink tinted his cheeks ever so lightly.

Ciel's breaths were a bit quick and shallow. He was so close just then. It took Ciel by surprise. That’s all. And not the ‘dig out your gun from your pillow’ kind of surprise. This one was quite different than that. It shook him to a similar level though. ”What did you prepare for breakfast?” Ciel asked a bit quickly as if to work something else into his mind. It wasn’t like he was thinking anything strange, his dreams just momentarily felt like they were popping out of his head and then mixing with his house life he had now.

Ciel closed his eyes and took a deep breath in an attempt to clear his head. Just once he wished he could wake up without a thought in his head. Without it wondering between places he didn't want it to go and places that never existed. With full knowledge that the color was gone from his face now, the thirteen-year-old turned around, and with both eyes looked to his butler who was sitting left to him, though he said nothing further after looking. All it did was establish a different feel as he tried to catch his own fleeing breath.

Sebastian watched his Lord silently after his whisper, wondering how he would
react, and what he would say to his little awakening. Sitting up as Ciel suddenly
did as well, that cunning, and warm smile never fading from his expression.
Looking quite clueless as he stood to his feet.

"An Americanized breakfast will be prepared for you, eggs, bacon, biskets, and
gravy. If this displeases you my Lord then it will be changed." He stated calmly,
knowing he would have to cook it with the noises his ears were picking up, and
clean up a mess as well. As always... he knew Bard would probably get to excited
about cooking and make a mess...

Which would be made larger from Maylenes help... Nothing that he couldn't fix
though. Because he was one hell of a butler. He walked around as he spoke,
picking up the clothes he had picked out for his Lord, and slowly returned to his
bed side. "My Lord are you ready to get dressed?" He asked simply.

        • Ciel bowed his head before he breathed something of a sigh out. With that his heart rate more or less returned to how it normally should be and he could easily look back to Sebastian without looking like the child he knew he was last night. The smile on Sebastian’s face… Ciel couldn’t help but wonder how Sebastian always had that kind of look on his face.

”No. Breakfast sounds fine.” He plainly replied. Ciel was never too picky when it came to the choice of what to eat, when it was already made; he would usually make do unless it was that horribly made. That didn’t happen often as Sebastian never made anything halfway.
The young earl pulled himself over to the edge of the bed and let his feet fall off. A yawn passed the boy’s lips that he caught with his arm before he stood from his bed. ”Yes.” He replied briefly as he stood and waited for his butler. ”What am I to do today?” He then questioned, his butler knew his schedule in and out.

Sebastian could easily tell something he had done bothered Ciel, but being he
didn't complain about it, and didn't get mad over it he just let it pass. Not
allowing that smile to faulter.

"Very well then." He walked over to Ciel, gently unbuttoning the front of his
pajama shirt, and with how he had his eyes opened it looked as if they might be
closed. Barely parted.

"You have no plans for today it seems... I do beleive you said last week you were
due for a small break my Lord. But if you have changed your mind I am sure we
can find something to keep you busy." He stated in a soft and calm tone as he
gently stripped him down to his boxers. Then began to carefully guide his arms
into his shirt, and dressed him. Not rushing and being quite normal about it.

        • Ciel eyes flickered a few times before the demon butler of his had come to his side to change his clothing. These types of things were rarely the earl’s job anymore for he found it to be a waste of his time. It had absolutely nothing to do with how he could not tie anything properly. As a butler, Sebastian should know how to do things like that, and if he could not, then Ciel felt he had no right to be the Phantomhive butler.

Ciel peeked down at Sebastian only for a moment after his shirt had been unbuttoned. The boy easily cooperated to get his arms out of the sleeves as Sebastian moved the fabric from his way.
The reminder Sebastian had given sparked everything back into the young earl’s head. He had asked for a small break, how could he have forgotten? Last week had been.. complicated. Things with Elizabeth and her mother, his aunt. Deadlines for the factory that needed to be met and even with Sebastian, the world seemed to want to keep him from meeting those deadlines. The world, the queen.. there was not a huge difference.

…And for some reason Ciel had felt Sebastian had come stricter last week as well when it came to homework…

”No. Now that I am reminded, the break is appropriate.” Ciel stated rather flatly as he cooperated to put his arms and legs where they needed to be, though leaving most of the work up to Sebastian. ”Though I am curious, what is it that you could find me on such short notice to keep me busy?” He asked with a small smirk, surely the demon had a lesson plan of some sort prepared. Of course, on a day off school was the last of things he wanted to do because of boredom. "Surely you have more than a violin or riding lessons that could come up so easily."

Sebastion never argued or complained about the job of dressing his Lord.
He didn't mind it at all and never questioned it. He just did his job without
hesitation. Finally after a few moments and cooperative movements later,
his Lord was now dressed. Finishing off by standing gracefully to his feet
from hsi knees.

"We could go ahead and do tomarrows lessons or start new ones... or I
could call back the gentlemen that called earlier about business that I politely
declined. Being you wished for a small break my Lord." He stated this calmly
and with that lovely smile of his that he often kept.

"Is there anything else you wish of me my Lord. Before I head down to
set the table and finish preparing breakfast?" He asked curiously as he
respectfully bowed his head.

(sorry it's short... we are having finals and i have been busy studying)

        • Ciel never had to check his clothing after Sebastian fixed it. The demon usually put it on him flawlessly, though at certain moments, he would end up having to fix it. This was not a big deal, Ciel took pride and comfort when he knew that he always looked his best after Sebastian had changed his clothes and it was one less thing that he had to think about on a daily basis. He did not even have to worry about what to wear, for Sebastian picked the clothing that would complement the day the best.

If it was possible at all, Ciel’s facial expression seemed to drop a bit from it’s already complete straightness as Sebastian went on with what could happen today aside from the break. It’s never something the boy would have said out loud, but it clearly went through his mind that he did not appreciate what was presented in a very childish manner. ”I think that all you just said makes more of a reason to rest today.” Ciel stated professionally before he let out a small sigh.

Honestly, Sebastian had a smile on his face at the strangest times… Ones that made it seem like he just did things purely to see the reaction, and Ciel knew this to be true sometimes, but not all. ”I need you for nothing else at the moment.. I will accompany you as you go downstairs.” Ciel stated before he started for the door, that of course, he expected Sebastian to open before he reached it. Even though he was the one accompanying Sebastian, it didn’t mean that he would be following behind.

          ||Naw, it's fine. I just started summer school for the next month, so I might be a bit busy until after June 22. ^^;; ||
