Your Turn little ones

Anna shivered, her eyes half closed to the starry night around her. Though she wouldn't be able to see it even if her eyes were open all the way. She was blind, and had been so since she was born. She was unique. Her hearing was far more advanced and her smell as well. All of her senses were. Having to do without the one sense made the others stronger through the years. But now it seemed she need someone. He had always been there, and yet only two years ago had made himself known.
Anna turned her head in the general direction of where she heard Toshi's breathing, smiling up at the angel, "You don't have to watch me every second. Isn't there something angels do for fun? Besides work?"
Toshi looked down at her, his own silver eyes curious, "This is my fun. You are work, but your personality was a perk." He smiled, knowing she couldn't see it.

As the gate finally opened in the near by glade, hellish energy pouring out in cascades. The blood soaked body crawled out of the roaring portal. Collapsing to the ground, the decayed wings on the creatures back flexed rythmically, bits of blood and flesh falling to the ground. As the portal closed, and silence surrounded the lonely demon, a light breeze strayed through the now decaying clearing. "Huuuuumaaan?" The cold glowing eyes of the winged monster glared in the direction of the Mortal and the " Aaaaangeeelll!" Its jaw tightens as it growls out the last word, a burst of his energy pulsing out as he spoke, the taste of hate, pain, and Hell filling the dead air.

While all of this was going on, Toshi and Anna were talking, laying under the stars in the glade, soft green grass surrounding them for miles with only a small house nearby. The house belonged to Anna's grandmother, whom she lived with.
Toshi felt the crackle of energy through the air, the chill of despair running up his spine. Suddenly, he pressed a small finger to Anna's lips, hushing her and warning of danger, "Go back to the house..." He whispered, looking around in a frightened manner before getting to his feet, wings stretched out as if to protect Anna's now retreating form. He growled softly, trying to be threatening. He could sense the demon was near, and that he had come through a hell gate, the stench of blood heavy on his person, "Where are you..." He looked around, spotting the decayed-looking figure many hundred's of yards away, his angel eyes acting much like a birds, zooming in on the man that advanced toward him.

His eyes locked with the Angels, his face a maniacal grin as blood ran down the slightly steaming body. Lifting his left hand slowly, energy began to build inside the now forming sphere which grew from the palm, a lime green flame mixed with a black aura. Many trees around him begin to wither and crumble as though a drought had arrived. The blood the pooled beneath him bubbling like hot water. " Die you wretched pidgeon" Several words of demonic power uttered, the spell is released, a massive beam of black and green blasts forth from the demon palm.

Toshi's eyes widened and he covered his front with the massive wings he had, the feathery appendages acting as a 'holy shield' for his body. When he felt the last blast hit, he spun on his heel and darted for away from the house, uttering his own words to take control of the wind, as was his power. He seemed to be throwing something, though there was nothing in his palm, and with a slight whistling sound, great blades of cold air currents sliced through the distance between himself and demon, aimed for his head, "I'm not afraid of you!"

" You'll need to do better than that Eden Child!" Raising his hands up high, bright green flames burst from the ground, surrounding the area. His eyes follow the fleeing angel, his mouth twitching as he spoke the words to his next attack, hands twitching in odd gestures causing rifts of energy to build around him, small fiery words writing themselves out in the air. When he finished his incantation, his arms sweep down to the ground, palms slapping it hard, and fissure begin to form around the area, trees uprooting or splitting as the ground shifts. hundreds apon hundreds of rotting arms, and skeletal faces reach up from the cracks, screams and moans pierce the night and the demon giggles hellishly as his army rises from the ground. " Nothing like using ones own family to take care of ones problems, no?"

Toshi shivered at the massive amounts of dead energy that flowed through him, whispering a soft prayer before he began his last incantation for the fight. He whispered, crossing himself and then blessing a circle around his own body before expanding his wings and reaching for heaven. A warm gust blew down from straight above, pushing against the dead army of the demon. The angel's wings seemed to glow, as if catching the warmth and storing it for something. And they were. After a moment, when the white feathers reflected a blinding white light, he muttered a single word, "Cleanse" and dropped his arm slowly until it was level with the army of bones and corpses before him, a bright shimmering light washing over them and crushing them to dust.
The small angel sighed, sinking a bit where he stood. He had used all his energy for that, his powers exhausted for the time being. Being the smart angel that he was, he turned and fled, feet barely touching the ground as he ran for the house. He snatched Anna up just as she was reaching the door and ran the other way, toward the demon, before jumping and catching the wind in his wings. He would run for now, Anna safely with him.

The demon wipsered a word, before flicking a finger in the fleeing angels direction. " Run little angel, run for now. You know in your golden heart, that I will find you soon" His arms sagged as he struggled to stand, the voice in his head beating down upon him. " No, I wont go back, I am free and now this world will die!" The earth around him begins to turn black as he absorbs its essence, small black and silver dust clouds hovering around his decrepit wings. The blood pool now being leeched away as the demon drops to his knees and begins lapping it up with his forked tongue.

Anna clung to her guardian angel as they away, nervous now that she could feel the fearful heartbeat of Toshi. She wasn't normally a nervous person, but if Toshi was spooked, she should be as well. She cringed at the sounds of Toshi's struggling breath, his wings starting to ache from being used so quickly after they had taken a beating from the demon's blasts, "Toshi, slow down! You're in pain!"
The angel refused to stop, taking his human as far as he could physically go, the scent of the demon and the blood far behind them now.

Using a small summons spell, the demon brings out a small selection of woodland animals, which all wait as he rips them apart, shedding their blood and bodies across the clearing. His energy begins to return with each death, and his magic becomes bolstered as the blood and bodies fill the air. His mouth twosts into a gleeful snarl as the crimson waters splash into his gaping maw. " More! I need MORE!!!" He begins to shove the animals into his mouth, blood rushing from his lips as he chews savagely. The body of a fox dangling from one hand, the head of a deer in the other. More trees wither and die as the beasts energy grows again.

The little angel and his girl settled down in a grove of trees several hundred miles away, finally able to rest and relax. The angel explained everything to Anna, resting his wings against his back and his back against a tree. In order to heal, he would need sunlight or something organic. Angel's weren't allowed to eat anything that had once been living. That limited him to many things. Sunlight was an angel's main energy source, though love could heal them as well. Anna's care was enough for his wings, but his energy was so drained that he would have to wait for sunrise. Only four hours and the sun would be up...

[COLOR="darkred"][Tracing a glyph of blood in the air, the demon settled into a sprinting position, hands on the ground, wings outstreched now full and whole. His eyes glowing so intensly that after trails form as he moves. His tracker bug called out to him as he readied his warp run " master.....the angel....heals...." The demon smirked " Tell me something new" A small ripple of energy burst from his starting position as his body now raced at an insane speed towards the angel. As he ran, he sang a demonic litany along with his spell, his voice echoing through the winds. The ground erupts as he runs, and trees explode into splinters as he passes through them. His horns and fangs fully exposed as the spell takes away his illusions/COLOR]

Toshi sighed as he healed, Anna's hands on his temples. A Guardian could, under heavenly law, take a portion of their subjects energy as a way to protect them. He had asked her to lay her hands on his face just for that purpose. She wouldn't know it, but slowly he was taking the power she had and storing it to fight the demon away later. 'Don't be angry with me later...' he thought, knowing he would tell her about taking her life force later. Suddenly, a slight whisper on the wind hinted that the demon was closing in and fast. He shivered, sitting up totally and picking Anna up again, "We need to go. I feel better."

A loud crack erupts in front of Toshi, as the demon suddenly flickers into reality, his eyes and grin almost on the angles face. " Not far enough Eden Child" The devil swips at Toshi with a clawed and bloody hand, taint and hell fyre pouring from it in a wave. " And you think he can save you....Aaaaanna?" He raises his other hand towards the girl in a welcoming gesture " Give me the girl Child of Eden"

Anna didn't know what he was doing, but she could hear that the demon was very angry. And hungry... She backed away, pressing herself against a tree that was in her path, "No..."
Toshi growled, holding out one hand. He whispered a few words and long blade of hardened ice appeared in his hand, sharp as could be and ready for the demon, "Back away Hell Spawn... I'll take your head off if you even think about touching her."

"Oh?" He claps his hands together, a fiery blade forming. " I've thought about doing Far more than just touching her, so..." He whips the sword out to his side, the blade segmenting into a whip-blade "....What shall you do about those thoughts?" His grin widens, the blood still fresh in his mouth, and his body.

The little angel's eyes grew wide, his wings pulling in close to his body. He held his sword up and tried to focus, not letting the words scare him. He stood between the demon and a meal. A dangerous place to be... But it was for the good of his human. His Anna. He growled softly and blocked out the scent of the animal blood on the demon's breath, whispering a few incantations before taking on his fighting stance, two great bears, one on either side of him walking through the brush to stand guard of the girl while he fought.

The Demon bows, sword hand at his waist, the other behind him "I am Spiral Kali Dancer, Elite of the 7th Army of Demonic Mages and Warriors. Kin to Luciander, thirty first son of the Unholy Lord. Twin to Whip Khala Dancer. And I will be your opponent, or rather... your Executioner!" He stands up straight and watches Toshi, his breathing heavy and excited, the smell of decay and fear pouring from his blood soaked mouth.

Toshi never moved, watching all the time, "Toshi. A pleasure." He glared at the demon, knuckles white as he gripped the sword, his wings flared now as if in a sudden rush of bravery. He had death in his eyes, a purpose to kill the demon and he had to fulfill it. To protect his human. To protect himself after that. And to protect the area they lived in from the destructive force of the demon. he readied himself, steeling his nerve to kill and preparing himself to be doused in the demon's blood by the time the fight was over with. With both hands on the blade, he crouched low, staring up at the demon man.

Spiral smirks at the Angel introduction, then readies his weapon, striking the ground. His wings fold behind him, the smell of blood bolstered as he exhales. " Very well then, Let us Dance then" With that, the demon strikes, the bladed inferno whipping at Toshi like a snake. The demons other hand poised for another spell.

Toshi dodged and blocked, slashing out only when he was sure of himself. He never took chances, never played unsafely, always in the same pattern. Until he realized what the other hand was for. He growled and jumped the oncoming blade, stomping on it with both of his booted feet. He inhaled quickly and jumped from the flaming mass of metal, controlling the air currents around him to lift him through the air so that he would come down right in front of the demon. He crouched low before the man when he dropped down, bringing his sword down and in a full circle, slicing deeply into the arm of the demon that was being used for spells. Once he had made a successful mark, he performed several back tucks to gain distance from the demon, landing on his feet in front of Anna, "Bleed you Demon scum..."

Blood begins to poor out of the arms, but its dosn't come out black or like any demon blood color. Instead, crimson blood poors out from the cut, the raw smell of fresh Human blood, filling the air. Anna's matching arm begins to bleed from an identical cut. " Oh, dear, I forgot to tell you how I found you" Spiral raises his arm up and bites around the cut, Anna's arm developing bite marks. " I have to compliment you on your Skill, and your Chivalry, but I will have to say, your very very niave" The wound stiches back together, as does Anna's. After streching it out, flexing the hand a few times, Spiral locks onto Toshi " Love is such a useless thing, it only gets in the way" The demon flickers out of sight, reappearing on his hands in front of Toshi, both his feet pulled in, then pushed out causing a double heel kick into the angels chin. Spiral rolls, kips up and wraps the blade around Toshis legs, the edges cutting deep, before tossing him into the ground. The weapon slides away from Toshi, and coils around Spirals sword arm. "Many apologieze, I forgot the ground was there" He giggles, then opens his mouth wide and a stream of lime green fire spills out, dousing the angel in near napalmish flames, the glow in his eyes shifting to pure white.
