Jesse nodded "..'kay" He said softly and hugged his knees, straing at the floor as he fought back the memories

The kettle started to whistle and he poured the tea. He handed the mug to him as he sat down.

Jesse took the mug from him and sipped it slightly. "Thank you for what you did earlyer." He said softly.

"It's no problem." He said as he snuffed out his cigarette in a small ash tray.

Jesse gave him a weak smile and put both of his hand on the mug. He started wondering why the other male was there too actually as he took another sip of the tea.

Cross sipped hid tea as he looked back over to the picture of him and Adam on the wall. His eyes stayed there for a moment before he looked into his tea.

Jesse looked at the picture, then at the others expression, he decided not to ask about it. It seemed like it would hurt.

"Can I ask you something?" Cross said, breaking the silence.

Jesse looked up at him. "Uhm, sure. What is it?" He replied.

"Why was that boy attacking you?" He asked, looking up from his tea.

Jesse lost a bit of the color he had in his face and took a deep breath. "Ah, he was jelous on one of my friends, b..b-ecause he thought we were d-dating, because we were so close and now h..." He took a sip of the tea, slightly trying to calm down. "Now that he has....died, he's bin trying to get to me in varies of ways." He said as he wiped away a tear that was rolling down his cheek.

"So he's that kind of guy." He muttered quietly before saying, "Sorry for asking."

Jesse nodded slightly. "It...It's fine" He said softly, holding the mug and sipping again.

((Just writing the first thing to come to mind since I can't think of nothin else ^^' lol))

Cross looked around the room as it became quiet again.

[Hehheh, tis fine xD]

Jesse looked at him. "Hey, I'm just wondering but how did you get in that club?" He asked softly.

Cross blinked, looking a little surprised.
"Um, well," He looked at him, "Let's just say that I got involved in the wrong crowd when I was a kid. That's probably the best and shortest way to explain it."

Jesse looked at him. "Ah, sorry for asking, just a little curius." He said, almost like a wisper.

"So, you still in school?" Cross asked as he turned his attention back to the boy.

(:O A disaster o.o)

Jesse looked up slightly and shook his head. "I graduated last month." He said softly.

((Eh? *confused*))

"I see," He sipped his tea, "I dropped out in my junior year."

(Omg, nooooes, dun be confused, you'll confuse meee -hides inn lil box-)

Jesse looked up. "Why?" He asked without thinking. "Ah, sorry"

((lol don't forget the air holes this time lol))

"Ah, do worry about it," He said with a soft smile. "It has more to do with that crowd I was in. You see, I was kicked out of my house when I was younger and this guy took me in... I didn't really have much else of a choice. It was either die on the streets or take my chances with him. Well...." He trailed off for a few minutes, wondering, Why am I opening up to this kid?
"I was given the choice, become a drug dealer like him, or work in his.... Lest say 'establishment', for lack of a better word. The hours were so horrible, I couldn't focus in my classes, add that to the fact that I had been on the streets as long as I had been... It was just easier to drop out than put up with everything else. I always told myself I'd just get my GED, but here it is three years later, and I still haven't gotten it." There was another pause, "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm being such a blabber mouth right now."

Jesse shook his head. "It's fine, I'm sorry for bothering you and asking all those questions" He did really felt like a burden for him.
"I can leave if you want me to"

"It's alright," He said with a soft smile, "You can stay as long as you'd like. It's kind of nice having someone over."

"Hm, thanks" Jesse smiled weakly, he didn't feel too comftrable around this guy and couldn't figure out why. He shifted slightly as he couldn't think of anything to say.
