Jace looked at Balin and said "what about the cub?" he asked

"we will take him with us, we might be able to find his clan on the way." Balin said and then yelled out "we set out at Dawn."

Kaya nodded and sat down. Balin seemed so different these days, with weird mood swings along the way.

Athela grimaced at the fact that they had to travel away from their current home, but the fact that she would be able to look for more herbs and medicinal plants had her excited after she thought about it for a bit. Plus, Balin was allowing the cub to stay and everything was right in the pack to her eyes.

Deciding that she would need more sleep than usual to keep up with the pack, Athela walked over to her den and laid down on her sleeping place. Sleep taking her away to a world of her own for the night.

Balin watched everyone go to sleep and walked away. He layed down a few feet away from everyone. He hated being Alpha more then anything sometimes. He just wanted to be like everyone else and not someone in charge. He always had to remind himself that he was a leader and had to act like it.

Kaya followed Athela's example by falling asleep. I feel sorry for Balin. But he does need to live up to his title. At least he doesn't have to hunt.

Balin soon found himself falling asleep thinking about when he was little and use to play with Kaya.

Jace walked over and layed down next to Balin to keep him company.

Kaya was soon asleep.

Balin woke up when the sun was just coming into the sky. He streched a little bit and smiled seeing that everyone was still asleep. Then he stood up and roared loudly wanting to wake up everyone.

Athela was having a wonderful dream. She had just found a new herb to use in her ointments and was rejoicing by dancing around. Suddenly the dream was shattered to pieces when a loud roar sounded. She jolted awake suddenly and her ears stood at alert, until she realized that it was just Balin trying to wake everyone up.

She stood up and began to stretch.

Kaya had opened her eyes a little before Balin roared. She walked out calmly, and stretched. She wondered where the little cub went.

Everett twitched a little in his sleep, roling around on his back as he called out for his mother. He didnt know where he was or what was going on. Now that he had been sleeping for a good wile he was much more aware of his surroundings. He could smell that this was definitely not his home, and the smell that was all over him was not his own mothers. He felt scared. All alone. Where was his mother? Where was his clan?
After a long frantic moment, the cub opened his eyes and sprun to his feat fearfully. A new wave of anxiety washed over him. Where on earth was he?

Kaya saw the cub wake. "Hello." she said, bringing over some meat. "How did you sleep?"

Everett looked up at the lioness, confused by her nonthreatening tone. Not to mention the meat that she had dropped at his paws. What was this? Why was this stranger showing him such kindness. He was positive that she was not his clan member. He didn't even think that he had seen her before now. This was all too strange. He wanted his mother. He wanted to go home. If he had a home to go back to that is.
"Um...Good?" he replied unsure of himself.

"At least you can talk. Yesterday you seemed dilusional." Kaya sat down. "Since you can talk, let's get down to the first question: Why were you on our territory when you obviously reek of another Clan?"

Everett looked at her nervously for a long moment.
"My clan the second branch of the Fengo clan...i believe has been wiped out..." He said darkly and with a sadness so deep that it almost seemed to be a physical thing.

Kaya almost felt sorry for the runt. "Well, maybe we can find a Fengo who will take you in." she said, trying to cheer it up. "Besides, you can't stay here forever, you've already made enemies." she said, flicking her tail in a random direction.

"...But i havnt done anything yet...according to you i just woke up didnt I?" Everett asked, freaking out slightly that he had offended anyone. Let alone the lions that were being so kind as to shelter him. It made him feel guilty and frightened at the same time. He was little. Even for his age he was small. They could easily kill him if they wanted to.

"Well, you tecknically walked in uninvited, and besides, not many people like outsiders." Kaya tried to explain. "Our leader has kindly opened up his cold heart to you and let you stay. You're coming with us until we find someone to dump you on."

"Hello," Athela smiled as she slowly walked towards the cub, "I'm glad you're feeling better! My name's Athela, what's yours?"

Balin stayed a few yards away and watched what was happeing between the two girls and the cub.

Jace padded over to them and smiled. "good your awake" he said and started to look in in the eye and check to make sure that he was okay. "looks like your okay now." Jace said with a smile

"Um hi..." He said, sinking back a bit, unsure of these new arrivals. Kaya had told him that he had trespassed. In his pack that could mean a death sentence. He was unsure if that custom upheld here, but he wasn't going to take any chances.
"Uh...Im Everett....Im sorry if I...came without invitation, heh..." he said nervously.
