"Poor little guy," Athela whispered with a frown. She was really starting to worry about Everett's parents. Why would they leave their cub? Could they actually be dead already and all this searching was for nothing?
But no matter what Athela thought, she knew that her heart wouldn't let her give up the search for the cub's parents. |
Everett then saw his packs leader and smiled. He waved at him but when the pack leader didn't look at him he frowned. "I dont think they want me back" he said softly

Athela didn't know how to cheer up Everett this time and just settled for a grim smile instead.

Kaya swished her tail in frustration. "Show the leader to me Everrett." she said. "Maybe I know him."

((hello guys, mind telling me where you guys are? I'm new here in this RP ^^)) A growl emerged from behind the dry bushes, followed by a starving lioness, her ribs almost showing, stomach sunken. She looked around warily, looking for any signs of life, but gave up. She trudged her way back to her pride, grumbling about the lack of food they had, and that Jerico had so much! "Damned Jerico...." she growled. But then, when she saw Everett, she stopped bemoaning, and approached him happily, swaying her tail. "Hello there, little one," she purred. |
((we are right now looking for more food since the food headed to a different area in the teritory and we are also looking for Everetts pride since our pride found him))
Everett look and smiled happly when he saw Ziera. He ran over to her and purred happly. "I am so happy to see you." |
Athela truly smiled. Whoever this new lioness was, Everett knew her. She could take care of the cub and Athela could stop worrying about how she would act like a mother, after all she was still a little too young to be a mom.

Ziera grinned, putting a paw on Everett playfully, lovingly rubbing on Everett's little precious head. "That's very sweet of you, little one... how was your day?" she asked, grooming him a bit before spotting another lioness nearby. But she smelled different.... aha! A Jerico clan member.... but the cub was here.... ahh, never mind... Ziera thought. Ziera raised her head, and looked at the lioness from the Jerico tribe, and nodded her head in greeting. "Excuse me there! But why are you in the Fengo clan's territory?" |
Kaya saw Balin and Athela talking with a loner. What are they doing? Did they find Everrett's mother? she thought hopefully. She didn't go over, she didn't want to intimidate the loner.

((eh? is the thread dead already? Please let it not be T^T )) Ziera,waiting for an answer, saw yet anoter lionness, Kaya. She tilted her head in curiosity, then looked at Everett with concern. She pulled Everett to her side gently as if protecting the cub from possible danger, while scanning the scene carefully. |
Everett looked at Zeara when she pulled him to her side. "it is okay, they aren't going to hurt us. They helped me when I was lost."

She nuzzled Everett on the back of his head and pushed him gently and playfully, swishing her tail. "Where IS your mother and father, anyway? Haven't seen them for quite some time now," she said, worried again. |
Everett frowned when she said that and burryed his face into her fur. "I dont know, I hoped that they where with the clan but it dosent look like it." he said softly and felt like he was going to cry. His parents where gone and it seemed like no one knew where they were.

((Oh... I was the last one who posted right? I wonder who....)) Ziera nuzzled her cheek against Everett, soothing him with her purr. "Don't worry , little one... I hope that they'll return soon.. or that we may find them..." Her heart ached to see the cub look so sad, and tried to calm down, think straight. "When and where was the last time you saw them, dear?" |
Kaya was relieved. Maybe Everrett could stay with the loner. "Who is this Balin?" she asked in a nuetral tone. She hoped the lioness wasn't an enemy, she wanted to be on friendly terms, especially with Everetts parents on the line.

Everett shrugged "I don't know, I don't remember." he said softly and stayed close to her.
Balin shrugged "I have no idea but she looks friendly." he said and walked over to her "hello I am Balin leader of the clain and we found your little firend here." he said as he looked at Everett |
"I'm Athela," Athela smiled at the lioness. She would let Balin sort it out, but she at least wanted to introduce herself to the cubs adult friend.

'H-hello,' Ziera greeted back, her back raised a little. She calmed down after a few seconds, teasing Everett with her tail playfully. "The poor darling, I wonder where the rest of the clan is!" she said, confused on why most of her fellow clan members were not present, and that three new adult lion and lionesses were there, including herself and Everett. "We should all go talk somewhere else... I fear it's a bit risky having a chat in the open field." |
Kaya nodded. "Yes. Balin, isn't the camp we use when we go hunting around here? We could talk there."

Balin nodded "yes it is east of here." he said as he looked at the two.
Everett stayed close to Ziera and didn't leave her side. |
The cub certainly has taken a liking to this loner. Kaya thought absently. "We should probably go there then."

Ziera raised both her eyes, and nodded thoughtfully. "Well, let us go then! before any other unwanted guests attempt to take us on," she said, turning around as she prepared to go where they wanted to go. She pressed her head gently against Everett's laughing softly. |
Kaya nodded and flicked her tail. "it's this way then." she said, padding off.

Athela followed Kaya and the rest to the new location, but still remained silent. She would let Kaya and Balin sort this out since she doesn't know what to say in this kind of situation.
