"So when are we going to leave this place?" Akemi smiled as he stood waiting for someone to tell him to board the ship.

Stephanie hardly held back a shout of joy. Akemi was coming with them!!
"Jump aboard!!" Stephanie cried happily. She almost forced Akemi to go onto the ship. There was no way in heaven or hell that she was going to leave this hot wonder of the world on this godforsaken island without anyone.

Stephanie turned to the others. "Let's go!" She cried, "Time to cast off!!"

Akemi hopped on the boat. He smiled at the crew as the ship floated into the extensive length of the deep, blue sea.

Satisfied for now, Stephanie dug in her pocket for something. She finally found it, and flipped the compass open. She knew there was a town called Florence nearby, and she knew the general direction of it from here. She looked around for a steering device... and didn't find one.

"AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! "

Vorian looked critically at the place where the steering wheel should be.
"Oh, would you look at that... I thought I was forgetting something..."

Stephanie sprinted to Vorian and grabbed him by the shoulders, shaking him vigorously.
"HOW COULD YOU FORGET THE STEERING?!" She screamed, "THAT'S THE MAIN FREAKING POINT OF A SHIP!!! IDIOT!!!"

Vorian chuckled, removing stephanie's hands from his shoulders.
"Dramatic as always I see. I suppose we'll just have to wait til nightfall, unless anyone has any spectacular carpenter skills... At least this will give us more time to gather some supplies..."

Though she was still pissed off at Vorian, and probably Charm now that she thought about it, Stephanie allowed herself to be removed from Vorian. He was right, it would also give them time to gather supplies like food. She hadn't thought about that. Huffing a sigh, Stephanie stalked past Vorian, grabbed a rope (or should she say, a vine), leapt back onto the beach and tied the rope to a tree, so the un-steerable ship didn't float away on them.

(congrats on completeing your quest btw.)

Vorian chuckled again before allowing his eyes to close. Vampires didn't usually sleep, but he had used a lot of energy, and it was daylight, so his body needed to recuperate somehow. Vorian thought to himself.
I'll just rest my eyes for a moment...
After a few moments he was deeply asleep, and otherwise immovable due to the fact that his body had the properties of rock.

Stephanie, after she was done with the rope, turned back to the boat and looked up at Yukina. "You said there was food in your hut, right? Can you lead us back there? I don't remember the way through the jungle."

(@Opalia: Well that sucks *marches off with squee cadets and brackets. I shan't be seeing you any time soon :P)

[I missed alot. I was going to like fall into a coma since I was going up to Kansas City, MO. But I fell alseep on the computer. XD We had stay up all night because we had to leave at like 3 am CST. No sleep.]

(Okay xD We (the characters that is) got on the ship then Steph went nuts at Vorian because he and Charm forgot to add some sort of steering device, but she only flipped at Vorian because Charm is still asleep lol. Anyways, now we're back on the island and Vorian is going to do some mumbo-jumbo with the plants when night falls, I'm waiting for Yukina to reply to whether Steph is allowed to grab some supplies from Yukina's hut, Charm is asleep and TwilightTigerStar is trespassing. :P)

Charm awoke from her deep slumber feeling very rested while she stretched her arms. Walking up to the top deck, she started to look around the ship.

"Something doesn't seem right," she muttered quietly while looking around. Finally her eyes spotted the difference, this ship had no steering device!

Having a laughing fit at her mistake, she fell to the floor to see Vorian sleeping soundly. She stopped laughing immediately so she wouldn't wake him.

'Well, since I need wood to form the steering wheel, I'll just have to wait until he wakes up,' she thought logically as she stood up. She walked over to where the wheel should be and started making plans on how she would make it look; what dimensions she would use.

Stephanie waited for Yukina to show her to her hut.
