Welcome to The Blood Stand Inn! It is a mansion filled with supernatural beings of all kinds! Ghosts, vampires, angels, demons, whatever you can imagine! All are welcome and all may stay as long as they like. You are allowed to be as romantically inclined as you like. That is, if you can get around all the dark, spooky and sometimes grotesque medieval air to the place.

About/History

Blood Stand is a little tavern in a lazy city that is very unwelcome to any who dont fit their description of normal. They usually fix this perceived abnormality with ether torturous correctional facilities or execution. Well, one day Miss Rosemary, a local tavern owner who was secretly a Mr. and not a Miss, just could not stand another minute of this. So, she closed down her once prosperous Rose Mansion Inn, and opened it up to those who were under persecution.
Now, she had heard of the superstitious accusations of the tows people but she never actually believed that there were supernatural beings out there. She expected to have the insane and the mentally disabled come to her, and they did, but they weren't as human as she had expected...

It was a fairly laid back day as far as the Blood Stand Mansion was concerned. Dreary, rainy, and just all around miserable to the world outside the walls of their elegant, palace-like home. Inside on the other hand, well, wasn't that much better. But at least it was nice and dry inside, minus the leak in the upstairs bathroom, but lets not focus on that. Anyway, Miss Rosemary and Monsieur Benoît were sitting down together on that cold and dreary January morning, sipping hot chocolate and watching a musical.
"You know..." Miss Rosemary began, "Catherin Zeta-Jones is really an awesome singer..."
Benoît eyes her for a long moment but didnt make any motion to denounce or support the statement and instead just lifted the cup of chocolate to his mouth. Miss Rosemary didnt seem to notice his utter disinterest though. She was talking to him and she was damn well going to state her opinion, whether he listened or not.
"I mean...there's a girl in this movie who kills a man because he pops his gum too loud and Velma Kelly is the REALLY intimidating one! I mean wow!" She said enthusiastically.
"Well she did get an academy award for this role...i should think she would have done a good job," He said in a almost innocent way and hugged his knees to his chest.
"Yea i guess you have a point,"
"Queen Latifa scares me though..."
Rose chuckled, "Well shes singing about...what raping them?"
"Im not sure...sex and money for favors i think"
"Yea"
"But you know...the moral of this movie is a little off..." Benoît said rubbing the back of his neck, "I mean, she cheats on her husband, trys to blame it on him, goes to jail, gets him to buy the best, and asshollyest lawyer around, wins the case just because everyone loves her! Then she freaks out when someone gets more attention then her and then dumps the guy who did everything for her"
"Yea... who knew John C. Reilly could sing..." Rose interupted.
"Who the guy from Step Brothers?" He asked.
"Yea"
"Oh...yea he was good"
"Surprising huh?"
"Yea..." He said, " Back to the point... I mean I think the point of the story was to say that fame isnt everything and the spotlight goes to someone else so quickly its not worth the trouble. But it completely contradicts it when she gets her own show! So whats the moral? Kill anyone then, scam and cheat the public and your loved ones, then youll be a superstar?"
"Yea...Chicago is a little messed up..." Rose said a little embarrassed that they had watched the movie now, "We should have rented Wicked..."
"I dont think thats a movie"
"Oh...damn...Broadway then"
"...Miss Rose... you know they would never let out out of here alive..."
"Right..."

Misa sighed shaking her wet wings as she walked into the hotel. Her mission was acomplished she set Rejuku on chores leaving her with some alone time. She streached her black wings letting them unfold. She yawned lazily walking in farther. She paused hearing voices she headed towards them.

She smiled seeing the people. She looked at Rose and Benoit while they talked energetically. She chuckled. "Hey...." She said softly making herself know to the owner of the inn.

Gail had been sleeping besides the door of the inn in his wolf form when the girl came in. He was a little scared when the door slmaed behind her and jumped a little bit. He slowly got to his feet and followed the girl wondering is she was here looking for him. Because if she was he was either going to attack or run away as fast as he could. When he saw her trying to talk to Rose he calmed down a little bit and padded over to Rose. He layed down next to her feet and said in a rough wolf voice "Mrss. Rose, someone is here"

"Oh!" Rose said and scrambled up from her spot on the rug. She quickly switched the television off with one twitchy movement before turning to the new guest. She smiled warmly at her.
"Hello there!" She chirped, "And who do i have the pleasure of meeting?"
Benoît didnt, and really couldn't, look the girl in the eye. New people made him nervous, the exact opposite of his cheery companion who was practically jumping for joy at the sight of a new customer. He hadnt even gotten used to Gail yet. It was really embarrassing to him. But what could he do. So, he sat down on the floor, his back rigid with discomfort, and waited for the two to leave him in peace.

Misa smiled softly as she re-folded her wings so they laid down on her back, "My name is Misa Valone Pyro...." She looked at the lady easily avoiding looking at her eyes. She had learned the hard way not too look to deep into others eyes. Misa plastered a fake smile on to her face, "I heard that this was welcoming inn so I decided to come along with my....protector...." Misa said slowly as she though.
He wasn't much of a protector though. She thought as she watched the lady, the man, and the wolf out of her mind eye.

"Well nice to meet you Miss Pyro," She said held back the slightest of giggles. "Heh, Miss Pyromaniac", she thought with a gleeful inner chuckle. The poor girl, she was positive she was teased about that at one point in time. But best not dwell on such things. She sighed a little and straightened herself up and dusted off her red velvet dress lightly.
"This, " She began and waved her hand out as if to showcase the man and the wolf, "Is Benoît and Gale"
Benoît sunk back even more, trying very hard not to freak out.
"Just let me die right here. That would be easier at least..." He thought grimly. Rose smacked him on the back with a loving grin, though his trained eye could see the touch of annoyance in her features. She didnt want him to give off the crazy air too much for their new guest to handle.
"Dont mind him love hes just a little tired," She chuckled in a strained manner, "Now who is this guardian of yours? Hell need to have a bead of his own wont he? That might cost more...depending on your situation love...We take all kinds but not always for free..."

Misa smiled at the lady. Their thoughts were easy to read. She chuckled. "Well the guardian his name is Prince Rejuku De'Light....doubt you've heard of him and if you have...well pity for you...he doesn't require a bed though. He never sleeps..." Misa smiled softly as she tilted her head. "I'm sure that I'll be able to pay whatever the price..."

Victoria was tired, she had been walking for years now and had never caught any word or clues on her mystery sire. Looking ahead with dull and bored eyes, she saw a sign welcoming her to a town. Reading the sign in her boredom, her eyes darkened when she saw 'A town for NORMAL people only' underneath the big black letters that were welcoming her.

"That's quite a contradiction," she muttered sarcastically as she started to turn away, ready to walk another couple of days to get to a different town.

Suddenly stopping, her eyes widened as she sensed a few very non-human people. They seemed to be in the same place as well. Curiously, she started walking into the town. Victoria walked all the way to the magical hot spot and looked at the place to see it was an inn.

"Hmm, this is very interesting," she eyed the door with interest, then picked up a lock of her hair, "Guess I could use a little rest from all this walking, as well as a good hot shower."

Entering through the door, she saw a man and two women, one with wings, as well as a dog or was it a wolf? Flicking away her straying thoughts, Victoria kindly smiled at the women who seemed to be the caretaker of this inn.

"Hello there, may I please rent a room for the night?"

Miss Rosemary slapped her hands together cheerily and smiled at Misa.
"Well thats just fine love! It works out well for all of us! And now little Frenchie here wont have to lug the bags up for you." She said and giggled merrily as she nudged Benoît playfully with one bony elbow. Benoît just stood there, taking it silently and sending Rose the tiniest of evil glares. The hostess was not phased in the slightest.
Suddenly, another voice rang though the foyer. Rose almost smacked Benoît right in the face when she flung her arms out energetically as she greeted the new arrival.
"Hello there!" She chirped, "Yup! All are welcome here! Welcome welcome!"
Then, to his horror, she turned to Benoît with that crazy kind of happiness in her eyes.
"Oh my gosh!" She squealed, "We haven't had this much business since the Elf Inquisition!"
"...Ive never seen anyone so happy over murdered elves.." he sighed.
"Not the Elves idiot! The poor dears...The customers," She insisted.
"Though...isnt that the opposite of what we want...I mean the only reason were here is to help those with under persecution and ultimately we want it to end. So wouldn't not having business be a good thing since that means people are being more open?" Benoît rambled on again on one of his ethical rants. Rose looked out of sorts.
"Well...yea...your right...But still, ruin my fun why dont ya?"
"Im just saying"

Misa smiled warily at the two happy to have a place to stay. She sighed looking back at the new comer with false interest. The girl appeared to be a vamp. At least that's was her aroura said. She sighed she wasn't particularly fond of vampires. She sighed shaking herself of the bad memory as she turned her attention to the man in the chair. He certainly seem the strange one.

'Wow, these people are human, but they seem to be stranger than all three of us,' Victoria thought as she smiled at how polite and energetic the women caretaker was.

"Thank you," she searched through her pockets and found her wad of cash, "How much will it be?"

Benoît flinched visibly when she looked at him. His whole body shifted as far away from her as posible, coking itself unnaturally to one side. He wouldn't look at her. He couldn't look at her. He didnt know what would happen if he did
"Oh god she was staring. Just calm down just calm down. Its ok. Your fine. Your fine, your fine, your fine!" His mind screamed frantically. He could feel the pressure building up in his body. His mind needed an outlet and he knew all too well that locking eye with her would be the last straw. After that the flood gates would open and then...Then he didn't know. No one could. He didnt want to think about it. Thinking about it made it worse.
"Just dont look at her..." He thought.

Rose looked at Benoît nervously but shook it off, "Seventeen a night hun...if you dont have that itll be lower...we dont charge much here..."

Victoria sensed the man next to the women caretaker was very nervous. She glanced to see that the girl with wings was staring at him.

'Hmm, he looks funny when he squirms,' she thought sadistically as she started to stare at him as well, 'I wonder how long it'll take him to jump up and run away...'

Gail layed on the floor and jumped a little as the vampire came in. He forgot if he liked vampires or not but she looked friendly. He slowly turned into his human form and smiled at the vampire. "hello." he said happly. He knew that he didn't have to say that since he didn't work here but he was going to be staying here a while so he might as well try to be nice to the people who came.

Misa looked at him curiously. He definitely was a sight. His thought were a screaming jungle and her tuning into him wasn't going to last for much longer. She sighed turning her eyes to look at the wolf but keeping her mind eye on Benoit. It was better that way. No eye conntact, no soul seeing. She breathed deeply unfolding her wings again. Damn she needed to fly soon otherwise her wings would cramp up.

"Oh he wont run dear hes too petrified to move. See..." She said and poked him. The man tipped to the side but didn't move a single muscle. Dont touch me. Rose giggled happily and looked at Gail. Such a sweet heart. Making friends with everyone.
She wasn't looking anymore. He could tell. Its still hurt to know she was in the room. Physically hurt him. All that energy was all backed up inside of him. It ached and tared at his very being. Clawing and scratching, fighting to find an exit. It needed out. Badly. But what could he do...
