A little embarrassed that she had been caught she sank back in her chair slightly. yes she wanted to feel the wind in her fur again but she wasn’t about to change and go for a romp around the yard. She longed of a brisk run in the forest. Ah, but that wouldn’t be happening anytime soon… so she pushed that though away. And focused on Hijo and the promise of food.

“so… why do you buy slaves just to set them free?” she asked suddenly not wanting to deal with silence.

he smiled down at her as he pulled her of the couch. First thing was first needed to check his estate. So he lead her out the back door only stopping for a moment to make sure that her previous master had been taken off the premises before leading her outside to wander the gardens. He had so many questions he wanted to ask her but all would dampen her mood so he tried to some of with something anything but he was having trouble. What did one say to a slave that well didn’t really feel like a slave. “what do you like to do with your spare time?” it was a shot in the dark but it was better then nothing he figured.

Yukina smiled."well being in a guarden, and takeing care of the plants..its so peaceful an calm".she said hapily.

Hijo looked at her."because,when i was little , i had a very crule uncel who treated slaves horibly, but there was a yound cat demon slave i had met and i became firends with her.Then one night i helped her to escape,but she was caught,beaten badley and takein back to the slavery."i never want to see anyone be treated the way she was",he said softly.

Nodding was Aurora’s only response, how else was she supposed to respond to that? so he had had a bad experience with a slave and the master she belonged to. that explained enough to satisfy her for the moment.

She sat quietly now waiting for the food that smelt so good she could almost feel her tummy beginning to growl in anticipation.

he smiled in response to that, he had figured it would have been something like that… or art. But he was pleased that she had no qualms with telling him. perhaps he would give her a space of her own in his gardens. Pleased by this thought he turned her in a different direction and headed to a different part of the garden. “I’ve something I want to show you”

Hijo smiled as the food came and was laied out infront of them."well .. lets dig in",he said haply.

Blinking she nodded and followed him."what is it?"

Aurora eyed the food hungrily before digging in. she ate quickly and once done sighed contently as she leaned back in her chair. She sat quietly for a few moments pondering what she would do with this newfound freedom. “so… if your not going to put me to work… what should I do for the day?” she felt awkward asking such a thing and she was sure he could hear it in her voice. Yet she didn’t know what to do with herself.

after a short walk he lead them to a small plot of land that was recently tilled. “I was thinking of putting in more flowers here or a garden. But I think you will have a better use for it them me.” he said as he indicated the plot of land.

Yukina blinked and looked at him surpised."t-this par i-is mine?",she asked a bit shyly.Just in case she was wrong,but hopped she wasnt.

Hijo looked at her."well i was wondering if you could help me with something,you dont have to of course''

Aurora eyed him wearily still unsure of this unusual male. “help you with what” she asked curiously yet still apprehensive.

“Daemon smiled down at her. “yes I am giving this plot of land to you. You may plant what ever you see fit all I ask is that someone is outside with you while you are out here. If you have an specific plant you have in mind I will provide them for you”

Yukina face brightened tremencely and she suddenly hugged him tightly and careingly(not an actual word*at leats i dont think it is* but i had to useit)."Thank you master Daemon!",she said cheerfully.Then blinked , realizeing what she had done leting go she movedaway from him quickly."i .. i'im sorry",she said nervously.

"finding someone for me on aa computer ..."

Aurora cocked her head to the side as she stared at Hijo in wonder. “what do you mean find someone?” she asked surely he didn’t mean….

Daemon was surprised by the hug but was never the less pleased about it. just as he was about to wrap his arm around Yukina she had backed up. She clearly seemed upset about something and it took him a half second before he under stood. Giving her a small smile he said. “come here” as he opened his arms up. He was ok with this kind of affection and it was better for her to learn this now.

"i want to know if the girl i told you about is okay .. and if shes in a better home...",he paused."if nt i want to het her out of there",he siaghed looking down."like i said its fine if you dont wish to help"

Yukina blinked when he opened his arms up and looking at him for a moment she wen over to him and into his arms.

Ah so she had been wrong… she smiled at him. “I wouldn’t mind helping you look for this girl”

when she finally made her way into his arms he wrapped his arms around her. he hugged her for only a moment the released her and stepped back. she still seemed unsure of that kind of contact so he wasn’t about to push boundaries. “alright lets head back to the house.”

Hijos head snapped up and his face brightened."really?!"<he said happily.

Yukina smiled brightly at him and nodded."alright",she said then as she went to head inside she sudenly started to colapes.

“yes, I wouldn’t mind helping you with something like that” she said smiling slightly.

Daemon began to lead the way when from the corner of his eye he saw Yukina take a nose dive toward the ground. using his inhuman speed he caught her before she could contact with the earth. He lifted her up bridal style and looked her over quickly making sure there were no injuries before hurrying inside to find a doctor.

Hijo jumped up and ging to her he hugged her tightly."thank you!"

Yukina hung some what loosely in his arms.And was slightly pale.But the huge scar on her back had started to bleed.

She was became instantly rigid when Hijo hugged her. it wasn’t that she didn’t like hugs it was just odd after so long of not having any contact with a living being, other then beatings, that it was still a new experience for her… that and it had been completely unexpected. After a moment she tried to relax her muscles. And it worked… slightly.

Making his way inside quickly he only noticed the blood after he had laid her down on the couch. Standing straight up as servants rushed around him he snapped out orders and had their healer brought to him. he stood back slightly as she examined Yukina.

the healer layed Yukina on her stomach and lifted up the back of her shirrt and gahsped seeing the scars all over her back.and looked over the gash that went from the top of her nack to the bottom."who ould be so crule?",she muttered.And strted to treat the gash.


Hijo slowly pulled awya."sorry"

“i-it’s ok” she tried to sound reassuring instead she sounded nervous. She gave him a small smile and gestured for hi to lead the way.

Daemon’s keen eyes roamed over Yukina’s back from a distance giving the healer space to do her job. A sound of furry escaped from his throat almost as if in agreement with the healers words.

Hijo slowly started to walk backwrds."you sure?"

The healer jumped slightly at Daemons reaction but themcontiued her job.Soon enough thejob was down.She bandagged up the wound just to be safe and and then she turned to Daemon and bowed."she will be fine Master Daemon"

Watching curiously as he walked backwards she began to fallow him. “yes I am sure” she replied trying to sound cheery.

watching with sharp eyes he waited patiently as the healer finished her work. When she finally turned to him he nodded. “thank you” was his only reply and she was dismissed. After she walked out of the room. Daemon studied Yukina for a few short minutes. He wanted to move her back to her bed where she would be more comfortable but he also did not want to move her for fear of reopening her wound. Growling silently to himself he opted to let her remain where she was.

Calling in another servant, he watched as lynn approached him. “keep a watch on her when she wakes up send for me.” as the maid nodded Daemon left the room.

After a few hours groand as she woke up blinking a few times she looked around nervously.Where had Daemon gone?

Giving him an odd look she stopped in her tracks as she answered slightly bewildered. “I am telling the truth” think as to what she did to make him think she was lying she took a moment to think back. she then remembered the tone she had used when she had spoken last and smiled sheepishly at him. “I’m still just a little nervous about this whole situation. I promise I’ll get better.”

lynn jumped up when she saw Yukina’s eyes open quickly she called to a passing by servant to send word to Daemon. When the servant left she made her way to Yukina. “how are you feeling dear?”

Yukina looked at her."extreamly confused",she said looking down at the pillow.but noticed her back didnt hurt as much and sighed."h-he saw it didnt he?",she siad sadly.

Kimaru blinked."its okay im not mad or anything .. i can understand why"

Aurora bowed her head slightly she felt stupid for acting this way especially with how nice he was being. But she couldn’t help herself, it had been so long since someone had treated her in this manner. She smiled shyly at him trying to get them back on track. “which way to your computer?”

lynn frowned at the girl she wanted to help her but she was unsure as to how to do so. So instead she answered he question. “yes… he did”

only a few minutes later Daemon walked into the room and approached Yukina slowly. He studied her as he approached looking for any signs of discomfort. “how are you?”

Yukina looked Daemon , then ta the pillow."better'',sh esiad stareing at the pillow."i ...i'm sorry"


"oh uh over thier",he said pointing to a huge computer room.
