"You-" Adeline started before Matthew cut in immediately.
"Chill Adeline." He warned, moving a step closer to her. Adeline sighed and rolled her eyes, grabbing the book she had left behind before hurrying out the door. "Sorry about her." Matthew said, turning back to Allie. "She's got a bit of a temper and I'm afraid we've only seen the tip of the iceburg." He sighed, moving back to Allie and placing a kiss on her forehead. "Want to ditch today?" He asked. "Neither of us has showered and its not like we did our homework. If we leave now we'll be fine." He said. |
Allie smirked as her phone flipped out. Gulping back her growl of jealously as he walked near her again. Her mind flashing of them kissing and holding hands. Turning away as she left. She sat back down, her head on her knees. There was no way for him to see her face now. Looking up as she spoke. "aren't we suoposed to ditch before we get to school" faking another smile. "plus I am not afraid of her, I can take anything she can dish out" she said with a bit of a growl in her voice.

"Allie?" Matthew said, walking over to her. "Don't be upset over Adeline. She's acting like a child who didn't get her way. And, quite frankly, I'm sick of her and her attitude. You're the only person i want to be with Allie. Don't be upset." Matthew said, placing an arm around her as he crouched next to her. "We can leave now, if you like, without getting caught." He said, his tone slightly begging. "I don't really wish to be at school today. I'd rather run off and spend a day with only you."

Allie looked up at him "no I am okay.. don't worry about me" she said as she stood up. "alright.. lets get out of here" she said grabbing her books and her snacks. Placing everything in her bag before looking around once more. Grabbing a pillow and chucking at him, hitting his head. Grinning she said "that's for interrupting my wonderful dream" Looking to the door she asked "where we going?"

"Hmm, I haven't quite decided that." Matthew said with a laugh. "Where would you like to go? We have some cafes, bookstores, and parks. Oh my." He added smiling. "Anywhere you'd like to go I'll just point the way." He said as they left the school gates, undetected.

Allie smiled at his joke and finally made it outside. "I can't believe we are ditching.." she said with a grin. "we just came from a bookstore.. how about the park.. it should be nice and quiet now" she said with a smile as she kissed his cheek and began to jog slowly toward the park.

"To the park then." Matthew said with a smile as jogged to keep up with her.
The park was lush and green and very few people wandered there. A homeless man slept on a bench as they walked by and Matthew wrapped his arm around Allie's shoulders. "Beautiful, no?" |
Allie smiled to him and soon they were there. "its so beautiful.." she said as he said it. Smiling she nodded. Kissing his cheek as he wrapped her arms around her. Suddenly she let go of him and walked over to the sleeping homeless man. Leaving her bag of cinnamon buns near him. It would be a nice surprise for when he woke up.

Matthew smiled as Allie placed the cinnamon buns next to the man. Pulling her closer when she had returned to him, Matthew placed a long kiss on her lips. "So, what do you want to do?" He asked, resting his forehead against her's.

Allie looked over at him and shut her eyes letting out a small moan as he kissed her. "if you keep that up we might have a repeat of the library.." she said softly looking into his eyes with a smile.

"But this is a public place, Allie." He said with a sly smile. "Not that I'd mind but other people might." He said, giving her another small kiss. "But today is your day so whatever you'd like to do just tell me and I'll make it happen."

Allie looked at his sly smile and blushed. "this is true and a tree might hurt more then the bookshelf" she said with a smirk. She then looked down to her feet sheepishly. "can we just relax and be together?" she asked softly. "then maybe see a movie?" she asked looking up at him.

"Anything you wish." Matthew said with a smile. Matthew took her hand in his own and began to walk towards the path that looped around the park. "Tell me more about you." He said as they reached the path.

Allie was walking around with him. Her hand in hers. "I love computers.. my favorite color is blue.. I love cinnamon buns.." she said with a smile. "I am a big nerd at school.. I can dance better then anyone you know" she said with a wink.

"Right, we still have to test that dancing theory once your leg is better." Matthew said with a smile. "Though we have something in common. I'm also a big nerd but I blame it more on my photographic memory then actual work. I can recite the notes from the board last year in History class." Matthew said.
"But I guess I'm bragging a little." Matthew admitted with a blush. "Sorry about that." |
Allie looked over at him and smiled. "its alright to brag every now and then.. for example.. I could so kick your butt at any video game you choose." she said kissing his cheek softly. "I am not too good with photographic memory but im great at computers... like how I shut down her phone before." she said with a wide smile.

"I doubt that." Matthew teased. "I'm a great video gamer. Another theory we'll have to test sometime." He said. "What movie would you like to see?" He asked, looking down at her. "Scary? Romance? Comedy? Choose your poison." He grinned.

Allie looked over at him with a smile "oh bring it on big boy" it was a phrase she used before to tease the guys who thought they were all that. Blushing six different shades of red as she realized what else that could be used for. Getting back to him, coming back down to earth she tried to take the subject off her. "How about the proposal? that's romantic comedy" she said with a smile.

"The Proposal it is." Matthew said, lifting his hand to twirl her in a circle. "The theater is up around this bend." He said, pointing at the corner of the path ahead of them. "Would you like popcorn or anything? There's a cafe we can go to before the movie. I doubt anything's playing this early anyways."

Allie squealed happily and spun into him kissing his cheek. "alright.." she said walking toward that direction. Suddenly looking back to him with a smile. "lets go that sounds great" she said with a big smile. It was only around 10, movies didn't start till 11 at the earliest.

Matthew's smile brightened at her kiss. He watched as her hair spun just so, thanking that his photographic memory would help him remember this moment forever. "Great. But first you should know that this cafe is really more of a Mexican grill. Though i must give them props. They have the best tacos in the state." He grinned as they turned the corner, revealing a somewhat beaten down bulding. "Just trust me on this one." He reassured Allie before heading to the door. "This is one of my favourite places."

Allie smiled as she spun and kissed him again. Walking with him to the so called cafe. "Mexican grill is a cafe?" she said with a grin. Following him with a large smile walking into a rather beat up looking place. "alright... I do trust you" she said looking into his eyes. Walking into the door she sighed for a moment before following him further inside.

Matthew took her hand tighter into his own as he swerved through the crowd to a small booth towards the back. "So its a little crowded but I'm telling you, this places is good." He smiled. "What's your favourite Mexican food?" He asked, not bothering to look at the menu as he already had it memorzied with his photographic memory.

Allie held his hand a bit tighter with all the people. Rude people bumping into her and some even burping in her face. She scrunched up her face trying to calm down. This was his favorite place, she could do it for him. "um taco's are fine with me.. I am not really a big mexican person.. never really had it before.." she said softly.

"Never?" Matthew grinned, noting that she looked a bit scared. "Trust me." He whispered, leaning close to give her a small kiss. "This place has the best food." He said, putting his arm casually around her shoulder. "Don't look so scared." He whispered into her ear. "I promise the food is good." He said before the waiter appeared at the table.
"What can I get you two?" He asked politely with a thick Spanish accent. "Tacos, two. An order of churros. An ice water and..." Matthew said his voice trailing off as he looked at Allie. "What would you like?" He asked. |
