Allie was going to say something sarcastic to that like you should know, you blew me off thinking I had it last period instead of this one. But instead she smiled sweetly and said "music.." Gathering her books that she was using for a pillow, turning and getting ready to go.

"Music?" He asked, he was barely ever wrong. "I thought..." His voice trailed off as he scanned through the pictures in his brain. "Did you have a free period last?" He asked, how could he have gotten it wrong?

Allie smirked and sighed "yes last period was free.. that's why I was out here.. I have music now.." she said softly. She was going to add fighting with your girlfriend, but it was good she didn't or her sweet innocent act would be blown. She looked at him sweetly walking back inside, turning back at him. "you coming?"

"Right." Matthew said, snapping back to reality and following Allie into the building. Putting an arm casually around her shoulders, Matthew opened the door for her and led her to the music classroom. "Here you are." He said, flashing a grin. "I have a computer class right now." He said. "Its right down the hall. I'll see you afterwards for French, correct?" Matthew asked, already knowing he was.

Allie shook her head as she walked, next time they went upstairs she was going to get her crutches, her leg was killing her. When he put his arm around her she became a little uncomfortable, but didn't show it. "no.. I am not taking french.. you are.. I have music then computers.. you have computers and then french.." she said with a grin. Waving her fingers at him, she walked into the room and handed the teacher the note.

"Impossible..." Matthew murmured. Why was he so off of his game today? Matthew wandered into the computer class to hear the teacher talking about how the class was going to review today. Perfect, Matthew thought. He already had everything memorized.
Matthew sat at his computer, prepared to just surf the internet until the bell rang when he recieved a message from Adeline. Willing to overlook craziness in library. Meet for make up make out in caf after this period. Not likely. Find one of those plenty of guys meet you. Matthew IMed back before blocking her. |
Allie stood in line with the rest of the class singing. She had been tested and found out she would get her own solo in the Christmas show. Sighing as she sang, looking over to the clock, watching it tick until the bell rang. Almost jumping from her spot, she grabbed her books and headed to the computer lab.

Matthew walked out of the classroom to see Allie standing there. "You came back on a good day. Review." He said, passing by her to make his way to the french room two stories above them. "See you in lunch." He called back to her before disappearing up the stairs.

Allie looked over nodding as she walked into the classroom handing him the note. Walking to her desk, she signed online in one screen and taking notes on the others. Her mind wandered to what was happening with Matthew and her, they were just friends right? She didn't want to be the rebound girl or anything. Plus people would talk more then they do normally.

Matthew sat, completely bored, in French. Another class doing review. Today was not going his way. Matthew thought, though he did feel oddly liberated after dumping Adeline. He started to doodle mindelessly in his notebook until he felt a wad of paper his the back of his head. He turned his head quickly to see Nate, already throwing another piece of paper.
Matthew unfolded the note and scanned it quickly. Heard you dumped Adeline. She's not happy dude. Duck and cover. Matthew had to keep himself from laughing. It felt good to be rid of her. Now if he could only survive this boredom... |
Allie was taking notes now on her notebook randomly doodling, before she knew it class was over. She logged out and shut down the computer. She had lunch next, going to the elevator, grabbing her crutches sighing happily as the weight was off her leg. She went into the cafe and waited in line to pay for her lunch.

Matthew took off for the sushi bar on the opposite side of the courtyard. "Going to join me for lunch?" Matthew heard Adeline ask from behind him.
"Not going to happen." Matthew said, moving around her to sit on the side of the fountain to enjoy his lunch and wondering if Allie would join him. |
Allie had her tray in one hand, her crutches in the other and her backpack on her shoulder. After paying she hobbled outside and saw Matthew. In a joking way she said "sure bet you are rushing to help a lady" Giggling as she sat down before he could help her. "is it okay if I sit here?"

"Perfectly fine." He said. "You really should be careful about carrying all those things." Matthew teased. "Your sense of balance doesn't have the greatest reputation."

Allie looked over at him after putting everything down. Teasingly smacking him she giggled "yea this is true.. although being on my foot all day.. probably wasn't the best idea" she said with a small grin.

"Gee, really?" Matthew asked. "I always thought you were suppose to walk on a broken leg." He said with a smile. Matthew used his chopsticks to eat on of his tuna rolls, his favourite. "So what delicious meal did the school cafeteria make today?" He asked.

Allie looked over at him and hit him again with a giggle. Was she supposed to hit him like that if they weren't dating? Oh well, it wasn't that bad and plus.. he was single. "Well I have some fries and a salad.. I couldn't carry any of the heavier items.." she said seriously. Looking over to him she smiled innocently.

"Well...You do have a poor sense of balance." Matthew said with a smile. "That's not a very healthy lunch, would you like me to get you something?" He asked, trying to be helpful.

Allie looked over at him smiling "I was going to get soup and salad but.. the soup made the tray to heavy for me to carry.." she said softly. "that would be great.. thank you Matthew.."

Matthew smiled, leaving his sushi to head for the cafeteria line. Taking a bowl of soup, Matthew nodded to the worker to let her know to put the soup on his school account. He sat beside Allie, handing her the soup. "Here you are." He said.

Allie watched as he actually walked away. She was in shock, he actually was going to grab her proper soup. While he was away she snuck in a french fry and closed her eyes. Yay for salty food, she thought with a smile as she had her fork in her hand over her salad as she was going to talk a bite. "thank you.." she said as she took the soup from him.

Matthew smiled, taking his seat across from her and popping another tune roll in his mouth. Delicious. "Is your leg feeling any better?" He asked, using his chopsticks to place wasabi on top of a california roll.

Allie looked over at him, taking a bite of her soup. "i had some pain killers to take today.. so right now, I can't even feel it.. so thats good I guess. The doctor says if I behave on it.." she giggled she hadn't really been behaving. "I could have it off in two weeks."

"Have you been behaving?" Matthew asked with a smile, noting her laugh. He tried to pass it off with as a joke but he thought that it may have come out a little flat. He was concerned about her leg, he didn't like to see his friends hurt.

Allie looked at him and smiled "well I did smash it into the wall today and I just now started using my crutches..what do you think?" she said with a laugh.
