Allie looked at him shutting her eyes. She didn't really want to have to explain why she was crying. "It isn't a bad thing.. that I can promise you" She slowly took her shirt and slipped it over her head. She said as she looked over to him kissing his cheek before getting up and going back to her bag, the cinnamon buns were still good and warm. She held one out and handed it to him with a small smile on his face.

Matthew smiled a weak smile as he took the cinnamon bun. "Thank you." He said quietly, not ready to give up on why she was crying. "Allie..." He said caustiously. "Tell me what's wrong." He said softly, his tone making it more of a question then a command.

Allie looked over at him sighing. "this is going to sound so emo.." she said as she turned away from him, talking to the floor. "It is good crying.. I am not upset about anything at all.." she took a hand and wiped another tear that fell. "no one has ever done something like that for me.. stopping and actually caring about me, knowing when the timing isn't good, willing to stop and wait" she still didn't look at him. Sighing he probably thought she was a big loser now.

Matthew grinned wide. "So I did nothing wrong then." He said, moving closer to her and placing a small kiss on her forehead. He wiped away the moisture from her tears and smiled down at her. "I want to wait until things are steady between us. I don't you to be a library hook up. You're better then that." He said. "I want you to be..." His voice trailed off, unsure if this was the time to tell her. "I want you to be my girlfriend." He admitted sheepishly, yet his eyes never left her face.

Allie looked up at him smiling at his smile. "I never said you did anything wrong.." Closing her eyes at the kiss to her forehead, smiling softly. Closing her eyes again, her bottom lip trembling, but holding back the tears this time. Watching his face, she tilted her head to the side, waiting for him to say what he had to say. Her jaw dropping motion and quick reflexes stopped her from fainting. "you want me to be your girlfriend?" she asked stunned.

"I wouldn't have kissed so much if I hadn't." Matthew said with a smile. "I'll understand if you don't want to date me yet. I did just break up with Adeline and I'd hate for you to see me as a player. But please know that our break up was not a spur of a moment thing, it was long coming. You only opened my eyes to see that girls are capable of more then just using you for popularity. And that's why I like you so much." He told Allie before taking a bite of hie cinnamon bun. The taste brought a small blush to his cheeks as he remembered the kisses between him and Allie. He wasn't sure if he would ever be able to taste cinnamon buns again without remembering tonight.

Allie blushed at his first comment. "I don't think you are a player.. I never liked her but it wasn't my place to say.. she would always talk about you and how blabla" It wasn't her place to tell on his ex, they were already over. She didn't mean to make it worse. Gasping at what he said next "I would never use you for popularity." Blushing as he said he liked her. Watching as he ate the cinnamon and blushed. Smiling knowing they were also for lunch tomorrow. Taking his head in her hand and licking some icing off his lip smiling softly. "I would love to be your girlfriend Matthew..."

Matthew smiled as her tongue licked his lips. Wrapping her arms around Allie's waist, he pulled her close for a longer kiss. "Yum." He said with a glint in his eye, talking about both the cinnamon bun and Allie.
Taking another bite from his cinnamon bun, Matthew smiled down at Allie. "I was already aware that you didn't like Adeline. She wasn't to fond of you either." He laughed. "It was pretty obvious." He added with a wink. |
Allie smiled as he pulled his arm around his waist. Moaning softly at the taste of the icing on his tongue, into the long kiss. Blushing, he wasn't sure if he was talking about her or the icing. Her smiled faded as they began talking about her ex. "I was always nice to her.. she just never liked me very much.." she said with a forced smile. She had never liked her and refereed to her as barbie.

"She didn't like you because she saw you as competition. Which was silly if you think about it considering there wasn't a competition at all. I already liked you. Adeline must've seen it. She can go to extremes sometimes when it comes to getting what she wants." Matthew said, taking the last bite of his cinnamon bun. "But she's unimportant now." He said, trying to steer the conversation away from Adeline. "Its almost midnight. We should finish our homework before we go to sleep. I hate hurrying through everything in homeroom. Takes away from time just talking to friends." He said.

Allie put her head down and growled softly as they kept talking about her. Taking a bit of her bun, not really hungry anymore. Faking another forced smile she nodded and got up, walking over to her bag and grabbing her books. Going over to a pile of pillows with her book, curling up and started to read. She had so much on her mind now, knowing he would ask about it, also knowing since they were boyfriend and girlfriend now she had to be honest to make the relationship work.

"You know." Matthew said, taking one of his own books and sitting on the floor beside Allie. "Your smile is much prettier when its not forced." He said with a smile, not bothering to open his book. "What's wrong?"

Allie smiled at his compliment and looked over at him, sighing. "I just don't like how she treated you, how she always talked about you, how she treated you like a trophy or something" She didn't like it and didn't want to talk about it, but she knew it was always going to be there.

"I know she was like that. That's part of the reason I broke it off. You're not like that at all." He said, smiling. "And that's part of the reason I'm with you. You know besides the fact that your beautiful, smart, and funny." He added with a wink as he cracked open his book and prepared himself for calculus homework.

Allie couldn't believe why someone as great as Matthew would stay with someone treating him so badly. Blushing at him compliments she pushed him into a pillow lightly, then picked up a nearby pillow. She wasn't in the mood to study right now. Besides he cheated last time. It was payback, he had it coming.

Matthew smiled, dropping his calculus book to grab a nearby pillow. "You're just going to lose again." He teased, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "You can't beat me." He taunted playfully, hitting her in the arm with his pillow then moving backwards and out of her reach.

Allie looked at him "you cheated last time.. you said I had a disadvantage.. I did not.. your just afraid to loose" she said with a grin as she grabbed her pillow and chucked at him like a frizbee, hitting him in the chest. Running and dodging his next attack.

"I'm not the one in a cast." He teased, hiding behind a bookcase before jumping out and throwing a pillow which hit Allie square in the chest. "Surrender while you can." He laughed, running back to grab another pillow before crouching behind a bookcase.

Allie growled, his comment hurt more then the blow. Grabbing the pillow she ran after him only doing something she knew she shouldn't. Running up to him and jumping, kicking the pillow out of his hands, tackling him to the floor using both hands with pillows she hit his head and stomach, waist line and legs. "surrender now or be prepared to face the consequences" she said while towering over him smiling.

Matthew shook his head in disbelief at her leap, something she shouldn't have done in her cast. "Alright, alright." He said, lifting his hands in a sign of surrender. "You win. Happy?" He asked. He knew he should chide her for jumping like that with an injured leg but he was smiling. He had to admit Allie had guts.

Allie smiled at his 'alright alright' and she kissed his neck. Watching him lift his hands she smiled even more, grinning ear to ear. "yes very..." she said as she kissed him passionately. Pulling away with a grin. "Thank you.." she said as she sat back down. Looking over at the clock she grinned "hey look.. its two already... school starts again in five hours" she said with a giggle as she snuggled into a pillow, waving her finger to him saying come here.

"You should be asleep. Its far past your bedtime." Matthew joked with a smile, moving towards Allie and wrapping his arms around her and leaving their faces inches away from each other. He kissed her nose lightly. "Sleep well." He said, snuggling closer to her.

Allie stuck out her tongue at his joke, but when he wrapped his arms around her, she had never felt more safe. Blinking and wrinkling her nose as he kissed it, smiling. "you too Matthew.." she said cuddling with him, closing her eyes. Falling asleep quickly after. |

Matthew woke when he heard the lock being opened. "Allie?" He asked, shaking her lightly to wake her up. "Someone's here." He whispered, grabbing his bag and putting his unfinished calculus homework in the bag. "Thank you so much for letting me in early." Adeline's voice carried through the doorway. "Shit." Matthew murmured quietly as she walked into the library, her eyes settled on Allie then to Matthew. "Oh, I am not seeing this." Adeline said, whipping out her Blackberry. "You are going to be ruined at this school! You and that little charity case!" She barked, typing furiously. |
Allie shifted in her sleep and moved closer to him. Stirring slightly she opened her eyes, seeing him grab his bag. Opening her eyes a bit wider as a voice ecohed into the room. Sitting up, no longer leaning on him. Standing up she smiled to her and said "good morning to you to Addy.." She grabbed her own phone and entered some kind of code and Addy's phone shut off in her hands before she could send anything out. Smirking to her "who's the charity case now? your going to need a new phone.. yours has a virus.." she tucked her phone back into her pocket looking up at her.
