Kesed laughted a little bit to himself as he was first replied at by Cain. It was kind of funny just listening to him. He hadn’t seen Cain in so long, he had changed so much from the innocent little, open-minded creature that he was as a child. Not that he wasn’t open-minded now—obviously enough to accept with some ease that he was taken care of by the undead that turned to ash in sunlight at one point in his life. He was of legal age now… right..? Twenty-ish years—but he was still so childish. He just made Kesed want to play all sorts of games with him. Pinch his cheeks, dress him up--prepare him for the worst. The ravenette’s smile faded a little bit small for a brief second. ”Don’tcha think getting upset over mystery is a little immature? You didn’t want to tell your life to Alyssa out there. Because I took care of you for three months, don’t think you have a right or any right at all to the thousands of years I lived before you were born.” He paused only for a short enough time that he could break their hug off and put a little space between them before he placed his hand on the cloth of the boy’s shirt on his chest. His hand placed itself on him gently and mostly flat. ”Chris, I like you.” His hand closed around the fabric of the boy’s shirt. ”But I also know how the human mind works and how despicable humans are by nature. I don’t know who you’ve become in twenty years. Don’t expect me to talk to you because of an act of kindness and attraction from when you were a child.” His voice went a little stiff towards the end of his words. He didn’t mean to be harsh, but he didn’t want some body to try and guilt him into speaking of his past which did not belong to a stranger in the least. ”If ya want to know, ya have to be patient.” Trust grows in time. You know that, don’t you Cain?
Kesed then backed up quite a bit to put some friendly space between them again. He didn’t like all the negative energy in here he was at least feeling. He wasn’t as crabby as he would have been if he had not just eaten his fill. ”For the record~” He started to muse on a much lighter note. ”I wasn’t getting her attention to prove I could, I was getting her attention because when it was on you, it was pissing me off.” He spoke with a very, very light tone, but the malice was almost painfully obvious within it. His typical voice and attitude though were the things that took it away from being serious. He absolutely hated situations with the knowledge of what happened within most of them. Serious was what made confrontations. Confrontations made bloodshed—and bloodshed attracted lustful vampires and started a whole ‘nother load of shit.
His smile perked up just a little more when he moved on to answer the question. He thought of himself as a vampire’s hamster? So in the little time that Cain had known vampires were real, he’d been thinking about it all this much? Enough to imagine himself as the pet of a vampire? Awww… ”You know I could fix that~” He reminded with a tease. ”Buuuut~ It’s really not like that. I don’t live outside of time, so one year to you is still one year to me. It’s just an agonizingly long life that you can’t just die happily in the end. Sticking around is simply for the experience and enjoyment at this point. If I disliked it here, I would have never come. It’s not as though I’ve never been here before.” He laughed lightly to himself at the memories. You’d think at some point, a person would run out of space for all of this, but no. It just keeeeps coming. ”You know~ It’s so CUTE that you’ve actually taken the time to think about all of this between this afternoon and now! You know that, right?” The vampire practically squeed—and Cain probably had no idea why—just why he might have almost flipped his happy lid.

At first Kesed's reaction to his simple explanation made Cain feel a bit annoyed, but as he thought about it, he just laughed, "Well, I am human, humans tend to fear what they cannot understnad, I do not fear it, but I cannot stand it, and what's more, I'm the type of human who is bothered by not understanding, so mystery tends to upset me." he laughed again, "Immature or not." Sure, it may have been immature, but it made perfect sense to Cain, and Cain could safely bet that Kesed-knowing him- would be doing the same thing in Cain's position, but if Cain tried pointing that out, Kesed would probably disagree. When Kesed let go, breaking the hug, Cain felt a twinge in th ebottom of his stomach. It was kind of nice to be hugged. Cain wasn't hugged often. When Kesed moved his hand, Cain didn't bother to stop him, or move it away after, he didn't even flinch, which he normally would have, especially after what happened at the table. Then he moved on to the only statement by Kesed that was left bothering him. He tried not to show it in his voice as he stated, "I need to be patient because you're not sure you can trust me with more than you're giving...Right?" Cain knew trust didn't come easily, but he had trusted Kesed, and Kesed was a vampire, so that should have been saying something... But Kesed obviously didn't return that initial trust. Maybe Cain was just too trusting in general. Then Cain had a brilliant realization, "You do realize you just told me your age finally, right?" he laughed a little, looking into Kesed's eyes.
Cain thought about the various ways Kesed's statement could have been taken, especially with all the different tones and emotions behind the way he said it. In the end Cain only asked between the two that seemed to pop up most often, "Were you mad because I had the attention on me and you didn't, or because it was her attention on me and not yours?" he looked at Kesed, tilting his head slightly. To Cain, either one seemed plausable.
He looked at Kesed, unsure of where to begin, but then the first sentence just slipped out through furrowed eyebrows and confusion, "You do realize you just sounded like Alyssa, right?" Then, he couldn't help but start laughing- it was a natural reaction. Cain decided to continue speaking so he could save Kesed's next attack for the end, "Well, yeah, I know it's still one year, but in comparison to hudreds, or thousands, it definately still pales, like it was a blink after it's over... Right? And yes, Kesed,"[/b] he began the last sentence with a bored voice, though a falsified one, "we know you could." He rolled his eyes for the effect, but that was all he said about that before moving on, "So, you're enjoying me. My company, I mean, at this point." he smiled wide. Maybe he wasn't as annoying as Kesed made him feel he was being. Then again, maybe Kesed was just playing with Cain for the entertainment. One just couldn't be sure. "And how is that cute, exactly?"

- Kesed shook his head at first as he listened. That wasn’t simply a ‘human’ thing. Vampires got pissy when they didn’t understand why a human would want to be a vampire in the first place. Many of the vampires he knew had been human at one point or another so it wasn’t natural for them and it was hell, especially getting used to the life changes one had to make to live normally as a vampire. It wasn’t even comparable to a simple human who had amnesia—in fact, if they had amnesia it would have been easier to learn a new way of life with no comparison. ”No one likes mysteries. It’s why people strive to solve them as quickly as possible.” He mostly said to himself. People often gave up on wanting to solve mysteries though that they figured they never would and eventually… they just wanted to destroy the mystery all together. Kesed shook the seriousness from his head and just laughed, purely, he laughed to himself. ”Immaturity suits you. Believe it or not.” He said with another pleased laugh and a smile on his face as his eyes turned away. That was obviously enough.
When questioned on patience, Kesed simply shrugged and gave no reply. His face made it look like he had no idea. IT would just have to be one of those surprises. ”Suppose what you want.” He mused playfully. Really, since the man had seen him when he was so young there was really no way that Kesed could feel afraid of Cain. Even if the boy went and told a bunch of people and formed a mob, he wouldn’t be afraid, he’d just be super pissed off.
The smile on his face had no intentions of going away. He wondered if Cain realized all the little things he did to make Kesed feel the way he did. It was like this when the boy was small too. He would say things without thinking that just warmed the cold, dead heart. ”Yeah, in a way, but you still have so many numbers to go through before you actually find the right number.” He said with a small chuckle. It could be there little game. Kesed didn’t so much mind he was so old. Living through so many things alone was hard, but that wasn’t the reason why he didn’t tell his age—to even Cain who knew he was a vampire. It was just.. bothered him. It was all humans seemed to think about. Days, months, years—people thought about it so much more than they should. Six months apart? Some people were offended even if the people were perfect for each other. Assumptions were made and people got pissed. He just didn’t want to fall into that pit. “And uh… both your guesses were wrong. It was because your attention was on her.” He replied very plainly and very smoothly at that before he quickly added in, ”I wasn’t mad, just slightly annoyed.” He smiled and tilted his head to the side quickly and playfully as if to make what he said matter just a little bit less.
Now a hand flew to Kesed chest and he gasped dramatically as if he were offended by what was just said. ”Me?! Sound like her?! But I sound so much more irresistible.” He ended playfully as he looked at the other boy. He didn’t know how used to seeing older men play this guy would be used to, Cain—used to. Not ‘this guy’. ”Eh, there’s a trade off. For living so long I get to miss out on a lot of stuff you get to do.” He said in a positive sort of way as well as a thoughtful one. He stuck out his tongue distastefully. He’d never been on that side of the river, but he didn’t know if he’d trade the way he lived to be human. There were things he liked about being vampire, he just… didn’t want people to hunt him all the time. ”Of course I’m enjoying your company.” His grin widened and his blue eyes stared directly at the boy playfully. ”What else do you think I would feel around you?” He stopped his thoughts from continuing on there as he would prefer that they didn’t. ”And another thing; if you don’t realize how adorable it is that you thought about all this stuff already then—I’m not explaining it.” He grinned a wide, toothy smile to the other before he turned himself around. ”Now do we really wanna continue to hang out in a public men’s bathroom? You know the kinds of things that go on in here.” He paused for a second, ”coughsexcough.” He pretended to clear his throat with quite a bit of amusement in himself.Mhmm… that was just what he needed to say.

Cain nodded slowly, "This is true... I didn't mean to exclude vampires or anything, it's just that I thought it was more of a human thing. Seeing as how you have all the time to ponder such things and theorize and hypothesise and the like of it all.." he smiled a little. He hoped Kesed hadn't taken offense to his phrasing, but realized he probably hadn't or her probably would have reacted differently. Cain also realized he wasn't angry anymore, a tiny bit maybe, but not particularly. Then he was just confused by the next statement, "It suits me? How so?" Cain couldn't fathom how immaturity could suit anybody, let alone him. Cain made a half laugh and shook his head slightly, "I'll take that as a yes..." he mumbled, more to himself that to Kesed. It wasn't the answer that made him react that way, it was moreso that he knew it was an answer he wad going to get.
"I can guess if I try, even if it takes forever." Cain flashed a huge grin before thinking about the weight of what he had just said. The funny thing was, he didn't bother correct himself. He wanted to, as instinct, but he was curious as to what Kesed's answer to that would be now. Of course Cain didn't mean literal forever, and he had been making that point clear all day, but he knew Kesed would find the play off on it, and he figured he would have to let Kesed have his fun or he'd find a way to anyway, so there was not much point to trying. At the next phrase, Cain tilted his head, not so much confused, but surprised. And more than he should have been, he guessed. Kesed's playful tone didn't downplay it any either, Cain only heard the words that came from Kesed, he didn't measure the tone, "You were jealous!" he accused, laughing slightly. Then Cain dedcided to play at Kesed's own game, rather poorly, but still, "Awww, big bad Kesed doesn't want poor little Cain to pay attention to girls or having any friends..." he surpressed a smile and made a mock frown long enough to have some effect, or add something to what he said, before he couldn't help but laugh.
Cain laughed, and said "You just keep telling yourself that buddy..." whilest looking away and scratching the back of his head jokingly. Cain tilted his head slightly, unsure of where that statement came from at first. Cain hadn't meant to imply one... lifestyle?... was better than the other, just that the years varied greatly. "I bet there are." was all he said, and not in a sarcastic tone either. Cain was curious as to why Kesed stuck out his tongue again and blinked a few times before asking, "Do you not like being a vampire?" was the only way he could phrase the questions in his mind to the tongue thing.
Cain rolled his eyes, "Well, I would LOVE if you hated it!" he said sarcastically, then laughed another half-laugh. Then he furrowed his eyebrows and half smiled, trying to think of something to say to that next bit, "Er... thanks... Glad you think I'm adorable?" That was weird to Cain, just weird. It was also a little odd to say outloud. Then came the last bit... Sigh, that was exactly something he should have espected Kesed to say. He rolled his eyes and pushed himself off from leaning on the sink, "And where do you suggest we go in a non-prision-movie type of way?" he laughed a little mentally, having heard that off of an American movie once- 10 Things I Hate About You it was called. Good movie, very good. Now they were making a TV show about it in the States... People just couldn't leave a good thing be.

- Kesed was highly amused. From listening to Cain, he would think that the boy thought about vampires more often than just before today. Perhaps those images of teeth in his mind made him invest time in the study of certain things that were ‘impossible’. Mysteries did bring people to believe in crazy things. ”You’re right, but just because we have time doesn’t mean we’re able to solve anything. Aside from that, the vampires that were previously human still have their limited experiences.” The vampire simply explained. It wasn’t as if the moment one was bitten, suddenly all the answers flew into a person’s head. In fact, despite the length of time that Kesed had been ‘alive’, there was a relatively large amount of ‘mysteries’ that he had yet to solve or knew that he couldn’t. And knew mysteries popped up every day.
Kesed then chuckled at the boy. How did immature fit him? ”Well, you gotta remember. I met you when you were thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big.” Kesed leaned down and used his hand as if to rule how high the boy was away from the ground when they first met. Not that tall at all, and Kesed hadn’t grown since then, he probably never would. So it was somewhat amazing to see the boy who was once yay tall grow up to be.. bigger. ”Although you’re an adult, I still see you as a child.” He paused momentarily, ”In some ways.” He added quickly after just so that there wouldn’t be any kind of confusion.
”And you’re right, you can. Good luck with that.” Kesed encouraged Chris to guess at it as long as he was entertained by it. Kesed really didn’t have a problem with his age. He just hoped that the boy did not gock or make a big deal out of it in any way as soon as he knew. A bad feeling already resonated inside of the man because of the first impression that the boy gave when thinking about these huge life spans. For the better? It probably would be if the boy didn’t learn his age and who all he had been directly involved with. Just because he never ate children didn’t mean he hadn’t been around people who did. He didn’t even condemn them for it. He didn’t see a reason to.
Apparently, Cain wasn’t the only one that had become surprised. It was the returned accusation that choked Kesed up a little bit. Like, he knew that he was jealous. He knew that he was jealous, buuuut…. The way the other pointed it out, Kesed moved himself to actually play it back as if he wasn’t as surprised as he really was. The boy laughed, well… he was a modern day Romeo. He could get any girl, or boy, he wanted. Any. ”Am I really that transparent?” Kesed played with light surprise in his voice. ”I want you, I need you! Oh baby, oh baby.” He added and the closer to the end he got, the bigger the grin that grew on his face to counteract the mock frown that the other played. ”If monopolization is what it takes~ Then I’ll do it to have all of your lovin.” The vampire grinned very toothily, his fangs quite obvious—maybe a bit more obvious than just… obvious.
He chuckled lightly to the comment the boy made and didn’t much respond to it other than with a very believable, ”Will do.” And moved on from there. The surprise that Kesed couldn’t shake came, and it came clear on his face when he was asked… asked if he… didn’t like being a vampire. That was an odd question—actually, that was a very strange question to ask. ”Do you not like being a human?” He countered the question with another question. Most people would easily answer that with a ‘no’. This setting aside the strange, self-loathing ones. Kesed was a born vampire. He had never been anything else. He didn’t know anything else. Why would he hate it? It was him and his way of life. It just… was a very weird question.
”And why is that?” He asked towards the statement as well. The confusion from before seemed to be slipping further and further into his mind. ”You’re also very welcome.” He said with a wink and a smile. Glad to update an ego when the need be. Of course. He loved the fact that Cain said it as a question, like he wasn’t sure about it. It just added to them damn cuteness points. Pfft. And then he just left an opening. Right there! Cain was just setting himself up, and Kesed knew it too. ”Welll~” The word purred deep in his throat as he started to move and slid his arm around back of Cain’s neck. ”We could go back to your place for a little, ‘non-hanky-panky’ action.” He stated suggestively just before he pulled the boy just a smidgen closer to his body than he had been and put his other arm around the front of Cain’s body to make it easier to snuggle his back to his chest.

Cain shrugged, "I suppsose that makes sense." he said, "But it still must be nice to have the time to think about it." He said, looking at the floor as he spoke. Cain looked up to see Kesed measuring from the floor. He could remember being that big, actually... "I think I remember you..." he said, mostly to himself, "Because I remember you being a lot taller than me." he said, furrowing his eyebrows. He shook his head, "Eh, could have been anyone though." he said, shrugging it off. Evenyone was taller than he was at that point. Cain laughed and blurted out, "Yeah, I'm that kind but with a bigger penis." Then his eyes widened at what he had said and he laughed again, "Wow, I've been hanging around you too long already."
Cain stuck his tongue out briefly, "Well fine, I will." he said and laughed. He didn't actually care how old Kesed was, it's not like it would change anything anyway. Cain was just curious, and the fact Kesed didn't want to tell him only made Cain want to know more.
He just listened to Kesed's mocking. He had to admit, he was impressed that Kesed knew the movie. As far as Cain knew, it was a greatly belittled movie. He waited for Kesed's mockery to stop and then walked straight up to him, close, leaving only about an inch between them, "Yes, Kesed. You are that transparent." he smiled a little. He really had been hanging around Kesed too long already. Any other day in his life, he wouldn't have dreamed of getting this close to another guy, let alone a vampire... had he believed they existed before.
Cain backed up after he had made that move, but only a foot or two. He tilted his head slightly at the question. "Well... I didn't mind it before, but that's because I didn't know of all the fabulous possibilities of the undead. Now I have to wonder..." he joked. Yes he had been joking with Kesed, but he would end up thinking about the possibilities, and he knew it. Not that he would let Kesed know that, for obvious reasons. At the next bit Cain smiled wide, "Because I can be a sarcastic bastard." he smiled again.
Knowing he should have expected the cuddly-Kesed-reaction, he didn't bother to struggle this time. "Alright... If I understood that correctly, that sounds... okay.... I think..." he blinked a couple times, looking over his shoulder at Kesed. "But for the sake of my sanity, clarify." he requested with more of a demanding tone.

- Kesed graced the boy with no further answer than a nod. He could think that. There was such a thing as too much thinking time. One could become so cynical with so much thinking time. He would suppose that’s why people and vampires alike would just start to kill people. The cynics among both sides—it’s worse if the turned vampires were already cynical and—or even just flat out hated humans. Every day he grew older he had to try to keep himself from hating humanity as well, which was easily one of the reasons why he didn’t like to get serious. Being serious brought out so many emotions and so many things about him personally that he didn’t like. ”The world looks a lot bigger when you’re so big. It doesn’t work now because you grew up.” Kesed said as a frown grew onto his face and he fake sniffled. ”Gasp! Anyone?! You think I’d let anyone get near you?! You’re all mine from the beginning.” He said playfully as he snuggled the other boy closer in his embrace with a little bit more possession easily traceable in his actions.
Suddenly he pushed Cain away by his shoulders though with a slight smile on his lips, very slight, and ruffled brows that proved his surprise that the boy would actually make a statement like that. It went quiet for numerous moments before Kesed actually started to laugh. ”Around me? Too much? Nonsense! But I’m surprised that’s the only thing that has grown, but not by much..?” He questioned playfully coy as he also hinted at Chris still being short, though he wasn’t really that small, he just wasn’t as tall as Kesed.
The vampire didn’t allow amusement to be on his face when it was stated that he was in fact, transparent. That could have had something to do with the myth that vampires didn’t show up in mirrors. Kesed figured it was a reaction from the fact that they shouldn’t exist. Now that they were in a bathroom, Cain could prove or ignore the idea. Either way Kesed wouldn’t care. ”How horrible. I can’t surprise you with anything. Why must life be so unfair?” He questioned over-dramatically as he let his shoulders and his head dropped as if all was lost now. Kesed never really made huge efforts to hide things. If he didn’t tell someone something, then it was as simple as that. If they found out…they found out—aside from when he called Chris, Chris earlier and the male simply had that ‘oh shit’ face. He wasn’t really prepared for that to happen and didn’t want it to happen though somewhere in his head… I guess he did.
Kesed chuckled a bit and kept a toothy grin upon his face as he listened to the boy. ”Yes. All the fabulous, Technicolor possibilities.” He said playfully, ”Tell me if ever you change your mind~” He said this so plainly and openly, but really, if it came to making him a vampire at any point in time for any reasons, Kesed would be forced to become serious. Some people just can’t change the way of life, some just go insane. He would never wish that upon Chris, but if he was the one to change Chris, he wouldn’t let him go through getting used to it alone. ”Ooo~ Sarcastic bastard, eh? You just seemed to inherit all the best qualities from your almost papa!” He bragged happily. The best kind of compliment! He doubted that Cain would remember the kind of things that Kesed said when they first met. Though he had been trying to warn the boy, he had been quite the bastard—and even after their bonding… It was just part of their relationship. ”Oh? Just means; not sex.” The vampire flatly and very clearly replied to the demand. Words like Hanky-panky... he really lived in a weird place in the US last time.... goodness jeez. ”You sound sooo yummy when you’re demanding.” He teased before he started for the bathroom door. Since when is hanging in a men’s bathroom this long appropriate? He felt like an uber chatty girl~ Gyah.

Cain laughed at Kesed's defensiveness a little, "I meant height-wise, because I was so tiny. That I remember." he said. Cain technically was still tiny. Tall, taller anyway, but still really skinny. He shrugged it off though, "I definitely remember a bit about you from back then though, but it is not much... You seriously wouldn't let anyone near me though?" He supposed that wasn't much of a shock, but hearing it was a different story.
Cain laughed, pushing one of Kesed's shoulders back, "Oh shut up!" he laughed, "You're just jealous that you can't touch this." Cain said, making pretend he was a gangster from America.
Another small laugh escaped Cain's lips, "Well, there are a few things that could surprise me, but I am definitely not sharing that tidbit." he said with a wink. He was playing around, but he knew it would probably be taken much more serious than that.
He rolled his eyes but had to smile a little, IF I ever change my mind, you will be the first to know. Just don't hold your breath-" he said the last bit shortly, realizing Kesed wouldn't have to hold his breath. He laughed a little at his own stupidity, or slip of the tongue rather and looked down. "Best qualities indeed." he laughed a little, looking up to the ceiling. He looked back to Kesed and smiled. Somehow, it made Cain happy to hear that; happy to be compared to Kesed in some way. "Ah, well, hanky-panky could have meant a multitude of things." he said, to clarify he wasn't completely stupid. Cain laughed, while trying not to, "Uhm... thanks." he said, "I think."

- Oh~ Well, somehow that wasn’t entirely what Kesed had been understanding of this boy from what he was saying before, but he couldn’t help bu smile the more he heard him talk. There was this feeling to it. It tickled his insides, he didn’t know how long this would last exactly and it was just who he was to think about that kind of thing. You’d think someone with so much time wouldn’t think about it so often, but he really did because in the blink of an eye, it would be gone—for someone like him especially. He… didn’t feel like his life had been as long as it really was, but then at the same time he remembered going through so much which couldn’t have possibly taken a lot of time. The vampire chuckled to himself as it seemed Cain had been confused just now on the playfulness he’d used in his voice and somehow switched it to back then. ”Well, I was just talking about now… but yeah, back then there weren’t many human’s left when I found you and there were just a number of hunger vampires that needed to feed. They fed on me a couple of times until they actually finally moved on. So… anyone would be correct, but when I brought you to the church, I didn’t have to worry about it anymore since everyone there was human and not starving.” He almost shrugged it off. He never saw his actions strange—from a typical point of view. He saw them strange from a vampiric point of view though. He was hunger from how he was typically drained of his blood from them nibbling on him, and yet he kept a human child untouched. You know it wasn’t easy and there were plenty of times when he left to feed miles upon miles away.
Kesed almost took the bait. He really almost did. He almost wanted to dominate Chris right there with his cute little accent and the ‘can’t touch this’ thing that he just did. Kesed could have almost sworn that Cain was trying to be cute just to get him to look at him, to get him to be obsessed with him. He wouldn’t go there though—well, he hadn’t planned on going there, but Cain kept egging him on. He wanted him to do it so bad~ The wink, the teasing—what else could seriously be said here? Well, one he wasn’t showing his weakness yet. Just how old was he if he lost his cool for real here and let this human get the best of him? He wanted Chris to come to him, admit he loved him before he would take him. That’s just how Kesed rolled. Oh, and he wouldn’t try and use his vampiric charm on him, like with the people he ate. ”Glad to hear it. I’ll hold that breath until the end of age—well, your age anyway.” He chuckled as he glanced at the other boy very briefly.
He was nearly flabbergasted though when the boy came up with… Hanky-panky meant a multitude of things? Where did he grow up? Kesed had grown up all over the place and yet he had only ever heard that word used for one thing—in all places, just one thing. ”Really? So what else could it mean?” He asked curiously with charm in his voice and a cocky grin on his face. His blue eyes looked softly at the other boy as one of his fangs stuck out from his mouth and pressed against his bottom lip quite gently.

Cain had a sudden new-found understanding of where he had been lost. He nodded, "Oh... Well, I imagine letting a bunch of starving vampires near me would have been a bad idea.. but they fed on you?" he asked in disbelief. Vampires could feed on other vampires?
He tilted his head, thinking about the things that could be implied by what Kesed had said. Did he mean until Cain died...? He shook his head, pushing the thoughts out of his head. He didn't like to think about him dying. Especially not at that point. He instead thought of how he could turn the situation around from the morbid direction it had taken in his own mind. It took him a few minutes, and all he could come up with was, "Don't hold your breath indeed..." with a small laugh.
"Don't worry, it all appeals to you- it is all sexual." he laughed, reassuring Kesed, "From what I gather, it could either mean 'enjoying ones own company' or 'fooling around' or, of course, 'getting it on'." he said putting quotation around each of the meanings.

- Kesed simply smiled as he listened at first. So Cain’s babyhood had either been traumatizing enough he forgot everything or not traumatizing enough for him to remember at all. Kesed really shouldn’t have cared. He didn’t have intentions of running into him again until… the time he ran int that person with the same aura earlier which had turned out to be Cain. Kesed was slightly surprised that Chris had never heard of Kresniks before, for some reason, but then he had to think about how the male grew up in a vampire-ignoring type place where they didn’t educate their children in the damned. ”Mhmm.” Kesed replied as if he were proud. ”When there weren’t any human’s around, I was the only thing nearby with blood in me. Hungry vampires don’t discriminate when meal time rolls around.” He said with a small and a chuckle as if remembering. It wasn’t his favorite thing to be feasted upon by a number of random bloodsuckers. He actually saw it as something of a intimate act, but he never complained. He didn’t have a place to when he was just like them when he fed on humans, one at a time. "Human's are the same way, right? The hungrier they are, the less they care what they are eating?"
Humans were slightly stupid when it came to this. They thought they were obviously the only things that could be eaten by vampires, but age old, full bloods also faced that… and animals for the desperate. The way they had been talking, Kesed hadn’t really noticed that he had been taking the conversation in a negative way. Oops. Maybe morbidness wasn’t all that morbid to him anymore? He had certain things he didn’t like to talk about, but death was strangely not one of them. Perhaps he should be a little more conscious of what he was saying? Eh.
Kesed smiled grew ear to ear and he actually laughed quite happily and proudly when the boy assured him of the meaning. Kesed lizard-like tongue ran over his top teeth with interested before he simply grinned toothily. ”Yeah?” He said between the pause before the other boy continued with his explanation. Now he was quite happy with all the other meanings of the phrase, but… ”You lied. ‘Enjoying one’s company’ isn’t necessarily sexual, though it could be.” He said, knowingly making a small advancement of a step towards the little catholic boy. ”So how do you enjoy your company, nowadays?” Kesed asked before a fang bit his bottom lip again. He had a great interest in learning everything he could about Chris now. Though that was not his only agenda. It probably wouldn’t be for a while, but then, Kesed didn’t have anything technically dirty in his agenda either.

Cain let Kesed speak while he considered what he was saying. That's right... Kesed was a pureblood, that must have been why they were able to feed on Kesed... Cain felt slightly stupid for not having realized it before. But being able to feed on purebloods and it being ethical were two different things, and that's more where his mind had gone- the ethical part. And then the question escaped from his mouth, "Isn't that kind of awkward for you though?" he asked, then felt the need to explain his line of thinking, "I mean, let alone the fact they have their mouths on you.. where ever, wouldn't it be kind of symbolic? Like, they need you for life? Not to mention the sexual aspect of it..." he said, trailing off slightly. Maybe that was just how Cain saw it. Then again, Kesed and sexual went together like macaroni and cheese.
Cain nodded, "True, but I did not lie. It was used to imply it being sexual, seeing as that was the context it was in. It does not have to mean it, but in this case it did." he smiled a little. Cain noticed the step Kesed took towards him, but it didn't bother Cain at all. Cain smiled at the question, then laughed a little bit. "Well, do you mean in general or sexually? Because you know the answer about sexually." he laughed again.
Then he looked around. They were still standing in the men's room, "I thought we were going back to my house." Cain pointed out, then turned and looked in the mirror and noticed- he was the only one. He knew Kesed was standing near him, but he wasn't in the mirror. He quickly moved the hair out of his face and turned back to Kesed. He said nothing about not seeing him in the mirror. He half expected it, actually. It may have been a vampire myth, but some of them were turning out true. "Ready?" he asked, dropping his hands by his sides and smiling slightly.

- Kesed was a bit surprised and he wasn’t at the same time when all of the questions came out like word vomit. It just flew out of his mouth, probably before Cain really thought about anything he was asking. For some reason, Kesed really couldn’t believe that the boy was hooking his ‘fangs’ into, as it were, into what he had mentioned. There was something in Kesed that had just wanted it to drop. He was actually bragging just a little bit too much that he was a pureblood… because he was comfortable with this person, but the person he spoke to wasn’t always the only one to hear. ”Actually, it’s a very sexual experience.” Kesed stated, ”Which in one way is how it’s so fun.” He added with a bit of a laugh. He wouldn’t put in the bad parts. You know… it was okay with one person, but when you started having sex, seven—even four, it was almost like an orgy without the sex. Even a vampire’s skin would feel as though it were burning because of the way the teeth just ripped through the skin. Vampire bites lasted a good 24-hours before they went away when you lacked the amount of blood you did after so long…. ”But in case you’re wondering; you’re not the only one with a second name. Some tend to call things like me Adam. But it’s not as dramatic as they need me for life.” There was a slight moment of seriousness, but quickly, so quickly like it wasn’t even there, it passed.
He almost wondered if this boy even caught of half of what he was saying. He was asking him if it was sexual when Kesed was a sexual person, right? He didn’t hide it. Not even… since he first met Cain. Hell, he nearly never hided it, even from strangers. Mostly from strangers. But could he imagine a correlation between sexual things as being feasted upon and sexual behavior? When a pure blood has been around for 2000ish years, the first time one is feasted on is not near the second millennia.
Kesed’s shoulder rose as he turned his head and moved his eyes as if to pout and use his shoulder to block the way between him and Cain very briefly. ”Cleaver then?” He asked as if leaving it up to the other boy to decide. ”But you know.. I think I like that definition; I think I like it so much for what the two of us will be doing.” He chuckled to himself before his posture went on back to normal.
Kesed basically then just blew off the next question because Cain already knew the answer and Kesed was done being redundant and instead… he brought his two index fingers together, dropped his head and moved his eyes to look away as if he were now shy of saying what the other was saying. ”You know…” He said in a low, withdrawn voice.
Slowly Kesed brought himself back to normal as if coming out of his shell, which is when he noticed that the other male was looking away and he seemed.. kind of distracted. By what? ”Yeah, let’s go.” He quickly tried to shake himself from wondering why the other had seemed so stiff for a moment. He even came closer and placed his hands on Cain’s shoulders and started to massage. ”I really wanna know how you’re going to get to know me better when we get there.” He teased with a squeeze before he let go just so the boy could lead the way because obviously, Kesed wasn’t completely sure where Cain lived, if he lived at the church or near it or not.

Cain listened to Kesed's words and couldn't figure out how he felt about them. His stomach dropped at the confession it was 'very sexual' and he knew that that part bothered him a little, considering he could guesstimate how many times Kesed had allowed that. All Cain could think was all the mouths that had touched Kesed's skin. The act its self when not considered fully seemed just gruesome, and Cain imagined it would be, at first. But is it was as sexual as Kesed said, then he would allow it more than once, most obviously... which meant more people- more mouths- on him. The most simple thing he could relate it to was sex its self, which Cain thought was sort of... well, sacred. Did that make feeding on another vampire sacred as well? ...He shouldn't have been surprised, however, sexual and Kesed seemed to go together the more Cain got to know him. "Ah, Kesed, you sexual old thing." he said, trying to let the playfulness in his voice show rather than the uncertainty he was actually feeling. Kesed would jump on that at first chance. When it came to the name, Cain wasn't surprised this time around. Everyone had a nickname, right? Well, Kesed was just a little... It was a little... yeah. That was the most completely thought on it Cain could give. Unsure, again, of what would be appropriate to say in the situation, he went with a simple, "Oh, well of course..." about the life-needing-bit. But that was all he could muster up.
"What?" Cain asked, perplexed and suddenly thrown in the conversation by the question. Everything that followed that, Cain was lost completely- from the words to the hand motions. He wasn't even sure he caught the innuendo right.
Again, Cain stayed confused with Kesed's inquiry. 'What do you mean? My attack plan for finding out who you are?" he asked

- Kesed grinned widely and his blue hues peeked over at Cain. ”It’s all in how one is raised.” He stated with a slightly suggestive purr beneath his voice. Typically vampires couldn’t help it. Being sexual or attractive or seductive was just in their nature as it was one of the tactics that they used to feast—it wasn’t something that was dropped for everyday life. The phenomenal type thing that surrounded them all the time was just inviting and not something they could turn off. However, it did effect vampires less than it did humans. Kesed had never been seduced into feeding. Those who were turned were typically in no way more powerful than a true blood—unless they had somehow gotten a true blood or something stronger than a vampire to help them. The thought of even that sent chills up the dead man’s spine. You know… people never thought about how vampires, the true blooded kind, were dead from birth.
Now Kesed realized the awkwardness that was coming to this conversation. At least it felt awkward to him. So a change in subject was needed. Maybe he was speaking just a bit too honestly with Cain about this—all of a sudden. Not to mention the religious side of him wouldn’t put up as much of a blind eye either. For all Kesed knew, that side of Cain was thinking about how he would rid the world of another impure, evil being of Satan since that’s technically what vampires were to humans.
Kesed seemed just as surprised as Cain when the boy asked the W word. Was it really so strange to hear Kesed say what he had just said? Well, maybe. Kesed didn’t often find himself surprised by his own actions simply because he thought he knew himself pretty damn well. ”Just forget that I said anything.” He said with a small smile on his lips. His bigger smile had faded subtly. ”So tell me church-boy, what’s the plan when you get me back to your pad?” He asked playfully, figuring that it would be taken either normally or sexually and he didn’t care which, really. The vampire was just maybe a little bit curious as to why Cain was so trusting of him. How could he even be sure that this was the same vampire from the boy’s past? How could he be sure that Kesed wouldn’t try to kill him—or also make him a vampire?
It was something very plausible. There was this pull that Kesed had to him, ever since he was a child… If he were to inject him now… it wouldn’t be that strange when compared to the ‘ mathematics’ of what makes sense.

Cain rolled his eyes. There went Kesed again. While sighing mentally, Cain knew it just couldn't be helped. Kesed was Kesed, that was it. He laughed a little, but then had to wonder about how he himself was raised. What if he hadn't been given to the church and he had stayed with Kesed? What would have happened then? Cain could only imagine... he would probably be somewhere else in the world, he probably would be a vampire too... He would have killed a girl tonight, and every other night... Cain would also know everything about vampires. And Kesed.
The pull was still strong, the one to Kesed and finding out about him. While Cain couldn't tell why, it seemed to be just a natural reaction to Kesed. Perhaps because of their past; that Cain's subconscious had the attraction and it was just pulling the rest of him with it. Not that he minded. While he could be a pain in the ass, Cain liked Kesed. It was just a matter of getting Kesed to trust him enough to share.
This was one of the first times Cain didn't take what Kesed said as a sexual innuendo. "Uhm, well, I'm not sure... And don't call me church boy, Kesed." he said. In all honesty, with the vampire hype going on, Cain had mostly forgot about being a devout catholic, as weird as that was. It was like he was so absorbed in the mystery and the exoticism of it that his religion had been pushed aside for the moment. Cain would have to be more careful not to do that again, he told himself. "Either way, I would be most appreciative to get to my place because this is wearing on me... Come on." he said, pushing the door open and making his way out, expecting Kesed to follow.

- Ouch. Was that a little sore spot maybe? Kesed was just a little bit surprised by the fact that he didn’t like being reminded of his religious background. Kesed simply said it out of playfulness. Then again, being religious at this day and age wasn’t something that most people praised. However, Kesed didn’t consider himself to be in a place of condemning others as he was a vampire and easily condemnable too. It just took him a couple hundred years to evolve so much to understand that. Kesed didn’t like to think about his childhood when he was a ‘teenager’ when it came to how he thought. God. If he were still in that place of mind, he would have definitely have bitten Cain a long time ago—try when he was a child. When you’re hundreds of years old whether a person is 4 or 40 really doesn’t matter to you much anymore, and if they become a vampire too, then they will age,… eventually. Everyone is a baby when you’re 2000 years old. And like some vampire said… maybe it was Dracula; ‘When you’re 600 years old, there’s no such thing as a cougar.’ How every… ver… well.. slightly wrong, but oldie old vampires were sometimes hard to come by. Sometimes. ”You got it kiddo.” He said with a smile on his face. Both in agreement to not use the name and to leaving the bathroom and the club in general. ”Lead the way.” He said normally before the other boy actually went out the door and then he followed after.
Kesed had been waiting all along for Cain to take the lead to get them out of there—you know, he’d done his business and all and he obviously didn’t know where the male left since he didn’t live at the church. It would be kind of silly for him to actually try and lead the way to a place he didn’t know. For all they knew, they’d end up in Turkey rather than downtown Marseilles. ”What’s the matter--?” Oh gosh.. he so badly wanted to say preacher boy right there, simply because he thought it was so cute of him. Luckily he stopped himself! ”The bathroom don’t smell that bad.” He quickly followed as a cover as they walked out of the club. He didn’t figure the club was a usual place for a church orphan to be on a weeknight… or any night for that fact.
”So where do you work? What do you do in the morning? Do you get up early? Do you work in the church?” Kesed’s questions all came out quickly and what seemed like at once. He was excited to know—but mostly because he wouldn’t be going anywhere tomorrow. He may not burst into flames in the sunlight, but it was dangerous for him to be in the sun and then he’d have to eat again as well as putting himself in danger—and a sort of pain, which was not cool and no vampire should ever put themselves in harm’s way on purpose just… for no reason at all. Really.. Wherever he ended up in sunrise is where he would stay until the sun finally went down. If that just so happened to be Cain’s place—hoping that Cain wouldn’t kick him out because Kesed knew he could and Cain would know he had that power soon too—but if that happened to be Cain’s place, then Kesed would be a pretty happy camper.

Cain half laughed, "I am sorry if hanging out in a men's room doesn't seem fulfilling to me." he said, "Besides, I thought you wanted to see my place... And I'm tired anyway..." he said, walking from the club out onto the streets in the darkness.
He began heading back towards his house- er, apartment, when the questions began to bombard him. Cain wasn't sure what was up with Kesed's sudden curiosity, even though he didn't mind, it was just a surprise. He then began to answer, "I work on a fishing boat, four days a week. We go out at about four in the morning and I get back about noon, sometimes a little later." he answered, "When I'm at work, you are more than welcome to stay in my place. Of course..." he said, realizing that Kesed couldn't go out with him on a sunny day.

- Kesed chuckled to himself and licked his lips. It was to the remembering feeling of the blood that had been on them earlier. Damn it was delicious, but not as delicious as it could have been. Not that he would get into that serious side of things. The sexuality in eating was just fine if you didn’t think seriously about it, just playfully about it all—unless you had that special partner that you were delighted when they ate you which Kesed had never actually found. Which is why he never brought himself to create any vampires of his own with his venom. Oh look~ And now here comes the part where he wasn’t having as much fun as he was before. Kesed quickly shook it off and brought himself back to a puppy-like mode. ”I do, I do~! There’s nothing more I’d rather see!” He said excitedly, ”Nothing more than my little Chrissy’s house.” He giggled just a little bit as he followed the boy out of the bathroom and onto the streets where he followed behind the male, though definitely keeping watch around them. It wasn’t something that he could drop—however, as he watched, he still looked pretty casual.
Though he felt like there weren’t any dangerous vampires or creatures nearby, after so long, it kind of became hard to turn your guard off. It was like a soldier who’d been to war. He’d live in warzones. Humans were crazy… yeah.
His sudden burst of questions couldn’t be stopped. You know? He had been the one answering all the questions simply because he wasn’t a human up until these points and daddy wanted to know what Baby C was doing with his life. The blood sucker now listened to the younger human answer his questions about his job and such and the grin on his face widened. ”So you’re practically a night walker~” He purred. ”Except for those sunny hours in the end.” He said with just a little bit less delight… okay, it wasn’t a little bit, it was with a LOT of not-delight because.. the sun meant that he couldn’t go play on most days. It was really a close to once a month type thing when he even walked in it. Like today, the sun wasn’t even that bad and his skin was turning to ash so quickly—and made his need for blood quite bad because his body wasn’t healing from it fast enough… It’s why he wore close that covered him. Seeing his skin… and.. stuff… wasn’t really pleasant for people who weren’t used to.. it..
Kesed’s eyes suddenly lit up. ”You mean it? I can really stay at your place when you’re not there?” Sounds of a mischievous man entered his words, though, there wasn’t a single mischievous thought on his mind--well okay… there wasn’t just a single would have been more like it. But really how bad could he get depending on how many windows there were and how much sun got in…
It couldn’t be all that bad, right? PFFT. Right!

"Well, apartment. I'd like to have had a house, but alas, I cannot afford it with my salary." he laughed. Cain had always wanted a small quaint house, but he loved his job, and therefore, there was no way he would be able to afford one. He wasn't about to give up his job for a bigger place either. However, he was concerned about Kesed joking about the size of the place. Cain was preparing responses as they walked. It wasn't as though you could walk across the place in three steps, but it wasn't grand or anything. It was just... home.
Cain turned his head so quickly to look at Kesed his neck nearly cracked, "A night walker, me? N-no, I would not say that, exactly... I work in the early morning before the light, but only a few hours before the sun rises." he said, "That's one of the best parts, seeing the sun come up and feeling the heat on your back." he thought about it a moment before returning to where they were, "I am not sure 'night walker' is the proper term for me, but I do like the night also. I am usually also volunteering at the church until the sun goes down." Cain concluded with a small smile.
Only a small laugh escaped passed Cain's lips before he began to think about what to say. He didn't want to just blurt anything out again, "So long as you don't eat my neighbors, yes, you may stay there. And be careful with my underwear drawer- that's the only thing in my room that I know where everything is exactly." he laughed, joking around. He had thought a moment, and couldn't think of a single thing Kesed could do while alone in the apartment that Cain would throw a fit over. He was hoping there weren't any.
