Alora waited until she was certain Drew had gone to sleep before sliently padding downstairs and starting to rummage though his things. Something here wasn't right. Drew was edgy, his actions were strange and sometimes inexplicable, his past bothered her, and all in all, there were things here that set her on edge. After rummaging through his things for a while she sat back with a sigh. Again, mostly normal, but she couldn't help feeling like something was missing.
Iori growled and leaped to the side, slashing at the thing again as it passed. Why was Celyse still standing there? Was the foolish girl frozen with fear? He spared another moment to snarl at her again "I said GO Celyse! Fetch the others, I can hold it here!" He backed up slowly, still guarding his left arm. If it hadn't been broken he would have had more options, but as it was he was forced to fight on the defensive. Slowly he backed up into the light of a window. The moment the thing stepped into the light and met his eyes... This would end one way or another. |
Celyse growled at him and sighed as she took off back to the arena. She was furious, she wanted to fight this thing but no.. she was the messenger. She ran and shouted to the soldiers to follow her and help Iori. Of course, why would anyone listen to her. She sighed as they all laughed at her. "come on!" she screamed but no one would listen to her, she was just a pathetic slave.
(do you wanna fight him on your own or have the soldiers come in.. I dont wanna godmod.. so its up to you..) |
((OOC: I was hoping to have all my incredibly well trained and loyal arena fighters come in and subdue him. Feel free to make them take you seriously, they are REALLY well broken and trained and all that.))

Celyse looked over to them all and yelled "look Iori is gonna die if you don't move now!" she growled out and gasped as they all grabbed weapons from the arena and began to run with her. A lot of them ran faster then she did but she directed them and told them where to go. Soon enough they were back at the spot with Iori, she looked to him to make sure he was alright. |
As Anubis slid past Iori, his talon-like nails scraped against the ground, and left visible trails behind. Growling quietly at his failed endeavor, the monster rolled onto his knees, with his left palm sprawled against the floor to support the rest of his body. He reared his head to get a better view of Iori. Such a fragile-looking creature... It was unlikely that it'd be able to survive a week in his territory. Anubis curled his lip in disgust, though the gesture could not be seen from behind the mask; the only wall protecting him from humanity's bittersweet embrace. Suddenly, the familiar scent of humans wafted through the corridor, until soldiers had surrounded the area. With a snort of clear disapproval, Anubis stared them down, one-by-one. He'd almost forgotten that these pathetic beasts traveled in packs. Even if meant certain death, he couldn't stop to mingle with the newcomers; the monster practically threw himself in the direction of Iori. Only this time, his other hand unsheathed a long, blade-like appendage from his foot-guard. From it's appearance, it could have once served as a fang from a massive creature. It mattered little now, however, as it was about to find itself a new home the the middle of a vampire's throat... |

(( Currently, Celyse and Iori are having a conflict with Anubis inside Iori's castle. It's not really a battle between slaves; Anubis just broke-into the castle in search of food. He's not actually a slave. :3 If anything, I recommend reading from at least page 32. That's when the crap kinda slapped the fan. )) |
Iori leaned backwards as far as he could, but to little avail, the blade slashed across his throat, leaving it open and bleeding as Iori gasped innefectively and fell. The silent circle of fighters bristled, then attacked as one. Mages casting spells of holding and pain as the fighters waded in with hilts and blades, the more nimble among them with blades already dripping with unknown substances. Several healers converged on the flailing form of Iori, genuine panic and concern in their eyes as they tried to hold him down and heal his grusome wound. It seemed to be no avail until Iori's right hand shot up and grabbed a healer by the shoulder, draggin him down so Iori could bite into his neck and drain him of blood as the other healers frantically closed the wound.

Before Anubis could savor the accomplishment of his successful attack, he was immediately swamped by the humans from all angles. Thrashing wildly, he quickly spun his torso and managed to throw a few of the guards off. But before he could ready his weapon once more, Anubis felt a sharp agony scrub across his spine. The spells had shot through his entire body, and every fiber of his being seemed to tear apart. A dull growl turned into a roar of pain as the monster crashed to his knees, with his hands magically tied behind his back. Anubis arched his back, and pressed his forehead against the floor in attempt to alleviate the pain, but to no avail. He never remembered such torment in all his years of existing, and wasn't quite sure what to make of such punishment. He threw his upper-body upright, struggled to regain his footing... and failed yet again. Instead, he'd merely managed to toss himself three feet towards Iori. Trembling violently beneath the weight of the spells, Anubis snarled at the array of weaponry being aimed in his direction, mere inches from his eyeballs. However, he did not give-in. Not once. His ferocious gaze drilled holes into Iori, as he bared his fangs from behind the mask; he refused to die at the hands of this blood-pup. Then, his neck spun to meet Celyse, and his eyes met hers with a deep, enraged hiss. This was all her doing... Anubis soon regretted not gutting her first. (( This is getting so intense! :squee: Fun, fun~ <333 )) |
Celyse watched as the fighters attacked, they were hitting him hard and fast and he was going down. She gasped as Iori was hit and almost dying. I thought vampires didn't need to breathe.. why was being sliced in the neck a big deal? What was this thing? Her eyes widened in fear as she watched him grab one of the men and bite him draining him completely. She looked in shock, he just killed one of his own slaves. She looked back to the monster and gulped. She growled right back at it and put her hand forward and shot a powerful wind attack knocking it off of its feet so the soldiers could attack it easier.

The leader of Eyseis' captors reassumed his role, trying his best to ignore his slave's brief crazed moment. He dumped her over his shoulder, which knocked out the wind of of Eyseis, causing her to faint for now. "My God... although it'd be a relief in selling her off, but she WAS really useful... all the cooking, fanciful writin', and healing us of our ailments..." he mumbled, chuckling. He shook his head, suddenly feeling partly remorseful. His companions seemed to sense his sadness. "Don't 'ave to feel bad about it, Sir. I bet she might be in a better place this time..." one of them said. "Just ye' wait, lads. Not until they discover her vicious nature, they'll put her into that fightin' ring of theirs, me thinks!" The leader grumbled, reaching a castle a distance away, where other merchants were hoping to gain profit from the aristocrats dwelling nearby. He quickly set his booth, and when he displayed his knick-knackery in display, he chained Eyseis for display, signifying that she was for sale. |

Drew woke up when he heard someone down stairs. He jumped ot his feet and fear was in his eyes. He wasn't sure who was down stairs but it could be one of his slaver familys trying to find him or was it something else. He made his way quietly downstairs and let out a sigh of reliefe when he saw it was just Alora. But he wondered why she was down stiars and walked over ot her. "what are you doing?" he asked as he looked at her.
Ivan smiled and wrapped his arms around her back. He let his tounge slide in and smiled when he tasted Allie. Then started to massage her tounge with his. Gail smiled down at Asian. She was perfect even thought he hardly knew anything about her. She was beautifull, kind, nice and could dance beautifully. "how about if we head back to the house" he said as he kissed her forhead. |
Iori slowly pulled himself to his feet with the help of his healers, leaving the body of the drained man crumpled on the floor, the few drops that had escaped Iori's hunger staining the carpet. He glared down at the still slightly convulsing on the floor. Iori took a step forward to get a better look at the thing that had attacked him, his fighters moving aside to let him through. It looked almost like a man, but wild, feral and beastly. Iori felt his lips rise into a snarl as he knelt next to the head of the... thing. "So you would attack me monster? Very well, this will be a decision you will live to regret." Grabbing the arms that two of his healers had offered to him he pulled himself to his feet with a slight groan. "Take him away. Make sure he is restrained, but well cared for. I want him healthy before I... deal with him." He returned his attention to all of his loyal fighters and mages, even Celyse, who had assisted him "You all did well today. I will ensure you are properly rewarded." He gave them one of his nods before the healers he was still leaning on guided him off towards his room.
Alora started and whirled, lashing out with a kick instinctively before she even realized who was there. Her eyes widened as she caught a glimpse of Drew and she pulled back slightly, negating a bit of the strength behind the blow, but it would still hurt quite a bit if it connected. |
Aiasan nodded after he kissed her forhead. She didn't know why she was scared to be alone with him, well like this. She should have gotten over this fear by now. She knew he wasn't going to hurt her, but how could she just all of a sudden not be scared...?

Allie let out a small moan and continued to kiss him. She pulled on his hair lightly as they moved to the couch. She then pulled away for a moment and looked into his eyes. "I love you so much..." she said softly as she ran her fingers down his hair to his cheek then neck and then to his hand taking it in hers and smiling.
Celyse watched in fear as the beast fell. It was amazing that all their powers combined were able to break the creature. She looked back at Iori and sighed softly. He was still hurt and he had a ton of healers at his command. He didn't need her, at least not right now. She watched as he and the monster were lead away. She softly sighed and looked around after everyone left, there was a mess. She closed her eyes and used her powers and the blood was off the floor including hers. She had been hit by something and it hurt her arm but she covered it up quickly. After the mess was clean she turned and headed back to her room. She only had a few minutes and then she had to return to the kitchen. Her real job lay there. |
Gail smiled at Aiasan "how about if we head back and see if they will let us inside now." he said with a smile
Drew quickly grabed Aloras leg and pulled up. He soon was holding Alora up by her leg and her head was only a few inches off of the ground. "sorry about that and could you tell me what your are doing?" he said as he looked downa t her face. "as do I" Ivan said as he looked at her. She was the most beautifull thing in the world to him and he loved her more then anything. He then kissed her cheek and smiled at her happly. |
Jack gaped at her as she re-entered the kitchen "What in the nine hells was that all about? What happened? You took off outa here like a bat out of hell then there was shouting and we were told to stay in..." he gaped at her before exclaiming again "What HAPPENED?"
Alora blinked at him from her inverted position. "Sorry, old reflexes. I was looking around, clearly. Why are YOU awake?" She was trying to shift attention off of what she had been doing, she was known for being able to think fast on her feet, but she wasn't sure if she had ever had to think fast while upside down before. |
Celyse had returned to the kitchen. She had a few cuts along her face and some on her upper arm. Her breathing had finally returned to normal as she looked to Jack. "I am sorry.. I know I left suddenly..." she said softly. She had no idea why she did.. he wasn't her master, she didn't have to worry about him and yet, she cared for him and wanted him safe. "there was an attack.." she said softly. She didn't know how much she should say or not. "everything is alright now..." she said softly as she went over to the sink and washed her hands.
Allie looked at him happily and blushed as he kissed her cheek. She smiled and pulled him into a hug. She took a deep breath and kissed his neck before letting him go and looking back to the kitchen. "are you hungry? I can make you something to eat?" she asked softly. |
Drew sighed and gently put her down. "I heard someone or something was down here, I came down to see you awake." he said as he looked at her "now are you going to tell me why you where down here?" he asked. In truth he had thought at first when he heard her he htought that she was someone else and had to go see.
Ivan smiled at her when she kissed his neck. "I am starveing." he said as he looked at her and kissed her forhead. |
The kitchen was abuzz with rumors as Jack gaped at her "Whit in th- an ATTACK? Who would be crazy enough... Augh, nevermind. You're hurt let me take care of that..." He moved back into what appeared to be a storeroom and reappeared moments later with a small first aid kit which he set on a counter and opened. With a bottle of alcohol and small wad of cotton he started to clean her wounds.
Alora sat on the ground and looked up at Drew, considering her options. After a moment she decided that a partial truth would be the best way. "I was looking for something... It doesn't matter." Well in all honesty, yes, yes it did matter. But with only a general feeling of disquietude and nothing solid to go on... Well it wouldn't be wise to say any more. |
At the instant murmurs she knew she said too much. "I-I don't know..." she said softly. She shook her head but he was gone. She hated doing healing this way, it was so much more painful. She just held still and gasped as he cleaned her cuts. "thanks..." she whispered shyly.
Allie smiled as she stood and went to the kitchen. She grabbed a few things and then looked over to him and held up the meat. "you want some steak?" she asked with a giggle. She knew he liked steak. |
