Alexia was walking around the town with her hair in pigtails. She didn't know if there was anything to do so she just looked around for something to do. "I wonder what's good to do in this dump." She said as she felt her teeth start to sharpen when she saw all the people.

Vexous smiled as the girl slid out of her arms. she bite her bottom lip as the human began to cry. "Awe, come on now you'll have fun here, i just know it!" grinning she took a step closer. "i'll make sure of it"
Vexous laughed as Alex tried to push her of balance. "Awe the poor thing is scared, wannna play a game of hide and seek do you." she let the girl run off, only to walk in the direction after her. "I’ll count to 10, then I’m coming for you!." She said rather loud. "1...." "2......." "3...." "4......" "5..." |
Kaedo was silent who could here that horrid blood sucking creature somewhere in the not so far distance. She would come down every now and again selecting different prisoners that seemed to be waiting for that purpose in life, alone. Usually she would snag one toward the entrance, Kaedo would recall to himself as he continued to listen his eyes closed as if asleep. She had drained the last few past life leaving only empty shackles behind. She seemed as though she was talking to or rather taunting someone. "Disgusting." Kaedo spat quietly. "Why does one play with its food like so?" He mumbled out load to himself, being pretty sure he would not be heard considering that his imprisonment was in the far back of the holding area.
"I know. I know. Perhaps that one is board." He answered himself in another voice. "This one dosen't understand what you are saying?" He then questioned. "...O' perhaps you would were you free as well...." He whispered to himself. "This one supposes that you may be right in thinking so... I have forgotten all, even freedom." He retorted quietly as he opened his eyes to see the ground beneath his feet. "Could it be?!" He exclaimed excitedly. "Yes, it is. This one does remember one thing though." Kaedo remarked excitedly as he shuffled his feet about revealing a little pocket mirror that lay open in the sand on the ground. "And what luck this one must have today, for there is just enough light coming in from the far entrance for this one to see oneself within it too!!!" He he exclaimed out loud to himself sounding like a happy child. |
Araceli shook her head, she knew that the question would sound stupid coming from her. Of course Vampires were cold feeling... But this was different, this Vampire felt lost at the moment.
She couldn't help glaring at the Were briefly as he came closer. She wasn't sure what had happened with him and why he was acting like a docile pathetic lump of fur but obviously he had some connection to the Vampire here. "Is this normal for him?" She asked quietly glancing to his face. "I've never seen a Vampire act like this before. Especially one that is so old." Not that she had had much experience with Vampires before, just other creatures of the undead and supernatural. |
Mikhial paused and stared at Araceli for a moment when he caught her quick glare and then continued onward as if unefected. "No. Its not normal of him to be like this..." Mikhial pondered as he cocked his head to the side examining Nix. "My friend... What is wrong....?" Mikhial sent to Nix and Nix alone. Hoping for a response but fearing, for the what if, there not be one.

Nix could see if slight glow enter from the far window in the castle he sat in. Making everything appear fake for a second then it was gone again.

Araceli shook her head slowly and let out small sigh. "I'm not sure what we can do for him, but if there's something..." She trailed off unsure. "Maybe I better leave this one alone." She thought.

"With out my relic," Mikhial said making a motion with his hand about his chest, "I have no real way of finding out... what is... wrong either." He then slowly placed his hand back down at his side and curled up next to Nix as if he were a lost puppy. "He... wont answer me... Why? Why wont he... answer me." Mikhial thought out loud and then looked over to Nix again.
"This isn't funny.... It's not some sort of game to me... If you don't wake up... I'll... I'll... I don't know what... I'll do... if I ... lose... again..." Mikhial sent to Nix once more as he rested his head down on Nix's chest as though he were waiting for a heart beat, even though Nix was a vampire and almost void of one anyway. Mikhial then began to close his eyes. He was losing hop for his friends return, for once again there was no response. Then all of a sudden Mikhial felt as though he was some how leaving his body or rather the world around him. Or perhaps it was both, he wasn't sure, but then in some way it almost didn't matter. "What 'm I if not lost, any way... my friend?" He sent once again to Nix as he felt himself slipping into something that not like the place he was leaving behind. But somehow much calmer, tranquil in its own ways. And if it weren't for he appeared to be indoors rather then outside like he preferred, it would be comfortable. "This does not look like something... I would dream up.. of." Mikhial thought silently as his mind drifted aimlessly around the place. "My ... old friend..." Mikhial sent one last time in hopes of a response. |
Nix squinted as the bright light once again returned to his castle. This time it was brighter it's harshness making everything look so fake once again. "Who's ruining my world" Nix thought outloud. Then he felt a familiar mind brush his. Mikihial...could it really be..or was it just a trick..why..how..? Nix's thoughts perplexed him as he wondered in the dirrection the light was coming from. As he got closer his illusions fadded and disapeared leaving just the black nothingness Ecl was known for.

((I don't think anyone did yet since Ceal, kendra, and one of Vexous (or Angelwitch)'s characters are with my current one in the cathedral dealing with some aftermath. While the others are dealing with some other tidbits at the moment. I'll see if I can get that new character in and see what I can do about interacting with your's in a bit. It always sucks just first starting out. Sometimes you have to post a couple more times just to get your character really involved in the story so others can pull you in their current area with something. Just the fun of having to be creative and weaving that storyline even more. n.n

(I apoligize as well. I don't mean to ignore you with Mikhial he's just a little caught up at the moment and as far as Kaedo goes he starts out in an entirely different place, cause he's already imprisoned in the castle. But Be patient and I'm sure when more people get on line that they well play with you as well)
Mikhial stared blankly into this mansion like place and for an instant thought he saw Nix. "It couldn't be... could it?" He questioned to himself quietly as he started to wonder in the direction of the person he thought to be Nix. As he wondered closer he could see that it appeared as though the figure too was wondering in his direction. But there was something wrong and Mikhial could sense it. Making his stomach turn as he watched the surroundings fading into nothingness as the figure approached, until finally everything became nothing. "Never have... I seen something like... this before... But it reminds me... of something eals... Its so consuming... like when Kira... died... this is what it felt like inside..." Mikhial whispered more to himself then any one eals. "Is this some way... of escaping... escaping the pain? Have I heard of it before?... It is almost like the stories that the old ones once told in my pack. Emotionless warriors on the outside, but to never loss sight of... what drives you on or... something like that... or you well most assuredly loss yourself. I wonder... if this is what they meant...?" Mikhial continued to think and sent as well with out meaning to. |
Alex's heart was pounding so hard that it was making her head throb. She couldn't concentrate on any one object as she ran. All she could hear of the lady vampire was muffled by the throbbing in her head but it sounded like counting. She couldn't make out much of anything, for her vision was slightly clouded, until she came to an ominous image on the wall that started at the floor and almost reached to the ceiling. She figured it was a door and so she quickly skidded to a halt in front of the door as the vampire called the number 5 in her direction. She reached for the golden handle on the door that was now coming into focus and she hurredly entered the room. The room was long and narrow, like the ballroom her grandmother had told her about. She paused for a moment in awe at how beautiful it was before taking refuge in a nook behind one of the pillars. Her breathing was hard and fast paced and she tried desperately to calm herself down. Who was that? What should I do now? Where should I go? What's...What's going to happen to me? Her mind was in a panic. But she brought her mind back to one of her grandmother's stories and she zoned from the world around her.

Rasul felt a tingling in the back of his skull. He recognized the feeling. It was the buzzing of Vexous's mind. He had felt a similar sensation right before she had woken screaming from her nightmare. "Rest Tania," he whispered before seeming to fade from the doorway. He was out infront of the castle in a matter of seconds. He could smell fear in the wind and as he followed it the feeling in his mind intensified. There was a human close by, he could feel it. He tilted his head and listened. Not too far off, through a door he could hear the human's panicked breathing, but even further away he heard Vexous's voice...Was she counting? "Vexous!" he called, striding closer. At a glance he could see there was something different about her.

Vexous stopped counting as Rasul came into view. "Rasul!" she said in a rather excited voice. "oh guess what i found, i found a rat in the castle, i know master always said not to play with your food but it's so fun" she was laughing and walking towards the ballroom doors. "7....8....9....and 10, ready or not here i come!" she placed her palm on the handle and turned to rasul one last time before she opened the door. "well do you want to have some fun or not!" Darious frowned at what was happened, "i do believe they are in the realm of the dead..... odd i thought only ghost could do that.... but then again vampires are techenally dead i guess, i'll have to ask vexous about this when i get back to the castle." his head shot up. "oh no i did it again, i forgot about acheron, Araceli do you think you could came and give him a blood transfuzen, Vexous is on a rampage and he's the only one that can stop her, you have to help please!" ((guys i'm sick and have a huge headache so if these posts dont make sence i'm sorry :P i cant see the screen all that well lolz) |
Tania's body went into a series of violent thrashing, before she woke and rose hesitantly to her forepaws. "I smell vampire," she growled, a deep and feral instinct to kill rising in her, "Must, hunt." She staggered toward the door, soon picking up on an almost familiar scent. Ignoring that sensation, she knelt low to the ground and began to follow the scent, before coming upon on Rasul and Vexous.
"DIE, Vampire scum!" Tania roared out, her Shadow Magic causing dark spikes to rise from her back, 'What is happening to me?' she thought to herself in horror, trying to pull back from her jumping leap at the pair, managing to twist herself and land on her back, "Ow," she mumbled, groaning, "That really hurt, sorry about that Rasul," she grinned sheepishly, looking just ridiculous. Her spikes had yet to sink back in, her body still screaming at her to fight. "I don't know what happened there. I guess I went out of control. Is this normal for vampires?" Josephine groaned, finally awaking to the whispers of her flock, 'What happened?' The whispers died down, and one small blackbird hopped forward, "You passed out Milady." |
The room around Alex snapped back into view as she woke from her daze. She could hear the lady vampire outside the door of the ballroom and another voice that she didn't recognize. Her heart began to beat faster as she thought frantically to herself. They seem quite fond of each other...This could be bad! What it it's another vampire!? Her breath caught when she heard the lady inviting the other voice in on the situation. She held her hand tightly to her chest and closed her eyes trying to be as still as possible, awaiting what was to come.

Nix could tell whoever it was that was destroying his world was coming his direction. "Who dares to interrupt my sanctuary!" Nix sent angrily. He lashed out with his magic. Forming it into a massive wave of bats. Nix sent the bats flying in the direction of the intruder. Intent on having them attack…but then he heard Mikhial’s sending. "What…no...he cant be here..."Nix thought to himself. He looked through the eyes of his magic bats. It was Mikhial. “Get out Mikhial or it will consume you!” Nix sent in a panic, this was not good.

As Mikhial got closer he could here what was surely Nix's voice. However it was angered and full of rage. Mikhial stood half in shock and half in wonderment as Nix prepared to do one of his magic attacks. "Surely he wouldn't think of... actually..." Mikhial pondered to himself and then was suddenly cut off in his train of thought as the bats began to flutter at him. Barely bringing his fore arms up before his face in time to block the nasty little creature from clawing him up to bad. "This is surely no dream!" He thought to himself with the realization of the pain that the bats had inflicted on him. It wasn't like the numbing feeling that came with most injuries that one would dream of receiving, but rather it felt real. Like dozens of knives lacerating his skin, his flesh. He could even feel his blood running threw his body in aid of the wound as if it was real.
Outside of the 'dream' Mikhial's human body flinched once and then was suddenly covered with fresh scars, bleeding as though they had been cut from thin air itself. Back with in Ecl, Mikhial's head suddenly shot forward at Nix's desperate yells. "What in the name of the moon are you talking about?!" He hollered back at Nix slightly out of breath due to the attack of bats. "If you think I'm leaving here with out you then your crazier then a fruit batt!" Mikhial exclaimed with a grunt and then continued his way toward Nix. |
Nix's bats stopped attacking at the sound of Mickhials voice. "You have to leave! Ecl will ask for your soul in return if you stay here!" Nix sent sounding angrier then he intended. "You shouldn't have come here for me. I'm not sure if I can come back.. especially if it's just for your execution"Nix said and thought aloud tears pulling at the corners of his eyes. Now he was standing face to face with Mikhial(still in his birthday suit).

"I don't understand... Why would you give into something like... this.... Its not like you." Mikhial began to shout and then quited down to his normal voice as the bats cleared away. Looking into Nix's eyes and seeing how emotional it was making him become. "Come back any way, and if its for no more then my death then you can return here just the same way as you did this time." Mikhial then placed a reassuring hand on Nix's shoulder. "Besides, I don't know about you but I rather die then be stuck here." Mihkial added with a bit of a growl in his voice as if he was trying to show the world of Ecl that he was angered by it. "Come now....? For my sake... at least..... Don't make me... have to... lose.... again... Nix?" Mikhial said concern consuming his face as he tried his best to give Nix the puppy dog face, without much pervial.
"Well then, use it already, you dolt!" Kaedo yelled at himself. "Yes, yes, this one knows that. And why most one be so hurts full in their words?" Kaedo whimpered and then disappeared into the mirror. He could fell the texture of the glass ripping on his skin as he descended into the realm of mirrors. The chains still trying to pull back to his keep but without any luck as they were severed by the magic that was pulling on them. "This looks as good a place as any" Kaedo exclaimed as he came splashing up in the center of water in the gardens area. "Next time, try not to drowned yourself!" He yelled as he swam his way to the shore line and crawled out. "This one thinks they well make there way out of this retched place that they well." Kaedo commented to himself as he started for the stairs. |
"You Hypocrite! How dare you stand there and lecture me! You came here just the same as me. Only worse you didn't even do it by choice! You just let go!" Nix half cried half yelled Gentler he added "but if it is the only way to get you to leave I will go back...but you must go first...incase you need a 'little push' out. I will fallow I promise."

"Well... well... I didn't know that I'd end up here.... I only ment to... check your... heart and when I touched you... I ended up here... and that is ... that. I didn't mean to, you know. And if I had a choice, I'd not come here again by my own will... thats for sure." Mikhial stammered as though he was nervous about explaining himself too Nix. "Fine I'll go first, but if your not following me...." Mikhial left it off with a growl. "So help me..." He then added while shacking a fist at Nix. Then he was silent for awhile as he looked around blankly. "So... ummm... How do I go back?" He finally asked after a little hesitation.
