As the two came into view he smiled and waved a hello. "come sit down over here, i can bandage you up if you like, that broken arm will heal in no time, miss ummm?"

[MAJOR EDIT] Val paused, watching the man for a second with weary eyes, then stumbled over and sat on down carefully. "My name is Valerie, but I go by Val," she said. She looked at him questioningly, her way of asking for his name. [[Bye bye! Thanks for rescuing me lol]] |
Sakura sighed and moved to her side. "Yes, it kinda was, but there's nothing we can do about it now except get you fixed." She gave Acheron a concerned look, not wanting to be the bearer of bad news, ....another human for the castle... "Now...where does it hurt? I'll heal it the best I can..."

Araceli shook her head in response, "I don't know if it is, there is always the possibility that it is though." She thought that it was interesting that spirits couldn't move quicker than normal. "You think you'd gain that ability since you've lost your a sense of having to be solid. I'd thought that maybe you'd be able to find some form to travel quicker. At least you get to hover. That can prove to be handy in sticky situations I'm sure."
Coming to a halt, Araceli looked around for some indication in the direction that Vexous went. "Darious, I have no idea where she might've gone. She could have changed direction for all we know, or attacked the villagers... Though we may have heard screaming by now in that case." She turned to look at him, dread was beginning to squeeze at her insides. That slow cold creeping itself around her stomach. He remained in the shadows as he watched her feed on the human girl. "You were lucky to find that one." Vincent said finally moving out into the small clearing and out of the shadows. He leaned against a tree casually folding his arms over his chest as he studied her more closely. His eyes flickered away from her face and into the trees then back to her before adding, "You've still got those two tailing you. I'm sure you knew that though." He grinned slightly. "Are you playing with them? Or are you needing to escape your masters?" ((Night Chy!)) |
"Miss Valerie, it's nice to meet you, i'm Acheron and this is Sakura" he'd managed to sit up and grab the basket of medical supplies that were left by Araceli and Darious, placing it in his lap he rummaged through it until he'd found some bandages and disinfectant, as well as a few safety pins to put it all together. "your quiet lucky to have knocked on this door, god knows what could have happened to you."
"even with Sakura's healing powers, i think we should wrap it up so you dont hurt that arm anymore." he looked amost sadened. the poor child will not be able to leave now. Vexous let the girl fall to the ground, blood dripping from her lips, licking it away she tilted her head slightly towards the man. now that’s what you call a Vampire!, and a sexy one too!she smiled at him. "oh i know there coming but what you don’t realize is the fact that they've gotten themselves lost, they are just a human and a ghost after all, they cant track me." but the human knows how to seal me away. she greeted her teeth at her last thought. "i was playing until a good to shoes vampire interfered, and i used up alot of my energy to get away, besides i needed the blood, getting your arm torn off is not fun, and it hurts like a Bitch!" she turned away from him and started walking towards the village, "i killed my master for trying to control me many a century ago, so no i dont need to escape." her strength was coming back but she'd need at least three more humans or a vampire to get her back to full strength. "hmm i wonder, is there anymore in town?" Darious was begining to get worried him self. "she'll need to feed alot so i think she'd head straight for the village, our best bet would be to do the same." |
[MAJOR EDIT] Val pointed with her uninjured hand. "My arm is messed up, obviously, and I think I bruised a rib or two." She sat still, feeling stupid. She figured she could leave in the morning, when it was light out and she could see where she was going. "It's nice to meet you all," she said, giving them a small, shaky smile. She sank back into the chair, looking at the boy. Was that... pity? Wat was going on? She focused her attention on him, catching two words. not... leave. She felt a chill, and looked away from him, her cyan eyes widening slightly as she tried to comprehend the meaning behind the words. |
Alex looked around at the now empty room. Everything had happened so fast. She was happy though, to be safe again, at least for the moment. I wonder if Acheron is okay. That vampire did quite a number on him. Alex began to walk down the hallway, back in the direction she'd come from. How did I hear his voice anyways?... She was so confused and flustered.
Alex thought she could hear voices a ways away and sped up her pace. The carpet dampened the sound of her boots hitting the floor as she fast walked towards the voices. As she got closer she thought she could hear Acheron again. It's faint...But it's definitely Acheron! She had only just met him but she felt safe with him for some reason. She rounded a corner just in time to see a girl collapse and another girl come to her aid. Alex stopped her approach, deciding to watch for a moment before actually going up to them. |
Acheron smiled at her as he moved closer, "i'm just going to wrap your arm up i might get Sakura to help you with your ribs though." he knelt beside her all the while ignoring the pain in his side. he examined her arm and bite is bottom lip. "your right it is broken, and i'm afraid it's also twisted the wrong way, it may hurt..alot since i'm going to have to twist it back in order to wrap it up."

Val managed a smile, her face pale. "Thanks for the warning. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll try not to scream." She sat still looking down at him and taking deep breathes to calm herself. You'll be alright, Val. Just take a deep breathe and let him fix you up, she thought, trying to convince herself that it wouldn't hurt. But it would. A lot. [[OOC: Prepare yourself. She will scream when you do it >.<]] |
Alex heard Acheron talking again. He's alright...but how? She tried to think back to before the vampire had chased her away from him but all she could remember was seeing his body collapse in front of her. She walked in a daze to where the two girls and Acheron were sitting and observed as he wrapped the young girl's arm. She seemed to be pretty beat up. What happened to her? She also noticed that something was odd about the other girl.

Acheron lightly held her arm and nodded at her response, he knew what was to come, and he felt sorry for her, no one should have to go through with this pain. He spotted Alex as she walked in but stayed focused at the task at hand.
Taking a deep breath, he said "okay on three" "1" "2" "and Three!" he said three just as he twisted and pooped her arm back into it's socket, then he braced himself for what was to come. |
A scream tore out of her throat as he popped the arm back into the socket, and she thought she was going to die or pass out right there and then. She slumped forward a bit, her hair falling and creating a curtain of pink between her and Acheron. After some time, the pain faded enough for her to look up at him and give him a weak, watery smile. She didn't notice she was crying until a few tears plopped onto her bare leg. "Mm, last time I do that," she said jokingly, her voice shaking. |
Alex jumped and snapped out of her daze when the girl let out a terrible scream. That's got to hurt...But I hope it doesn't draw any attention. She could only hope that no one but her, Acheron and the other girl had heard the scream. She didn't feel like fighting for her life at the moment.
Alex found a corner close to where Acheron and the girl were sitting and leaned into it, sliding against the wall to the floor. Her red eyes looked distant as she thought back on the previous events. |
He chuckled softly at her changes in emotions, unable to help notice that this one was a real beauty. He liked her quite a bit, seemed to have some fierce prowess about her. "Never underestimate the humans though love." Vincent shook his head slowly, pushing his hair back with one of his hands as it fallen in his face. His eyes wandered over her form slowly. "From the looks of it, I like your idea of fun. You should introduce me to it."
Seeing her turn away and start for the village, he was slightly taken aback that this one did indeed have a master at one point. He was just toying with her a bit, but the fact that she had overcome her master and killed him just made her that much more attractive in his book. "Care for company? I'm sure we could find you something tastier than a low life. Humans... Not very pleasant in my mouth. I prefer, something of more worth." "Let's go then." Araceli nodded her head as they began to make for the village. "I just hope we're not to late." |
Vexous's grin widened as she looked at him sideways, "well well, a vampire with some balls, i think I’m starting to like you. Come if you like I’m not stopping you." looking to the sky she took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly.
"i do agree human blood gets old fast, and I’m not fond of animal blood ether, it's like drinking diet coke." she screwed up her face as if to say yuck!. the village came into view as she sighed. "looks like the human and that ghost are on my tail again, i should have made sure Acheron was dead before he could tell anyone that spell." turning around and walking backwards she looked up at the castle, you could only see the very top of it but you could still see it, "i'll be back little man to finish what i started just you wait, you won’t live to bind me again, bloody wizards!." Acheron cringed as she screamed; he mouthed a sorry to her as she looked at him. Turning to look at Alex he motioned for her to come closer. "Alex do you think you could help me, i can hold her arm and wrap it at the same time." he placed an arm around his own side as he stood to stand behind the chair Val was on. He placed some disinfectant on her scratches and cuts before unwrapping the bandages. Darious run behind Araceli for quite some time before he saw something in the distance at the edge of the forest, it looked like a body of a small girl. "no! it cant be" he said aloud. |
She gave him a smile that was meant to convey "it's ok", too spent to speak. She leaned back carefully and winced, then took shallow breathes and closed her eyes. She heard him call to someone named Alex; she peeked for a second, seeing a girl approaching them. She wearily closed her eyes, trying not to let the sting of the disinfectant drive her to itch at her arm and simply letting them take care of her. It had been a while since she had let someone care for her, and she had forgotten how nice it was. You're going home in the morning though, so don't get lazy, she scolded herself gently and silently. She remembered that small flash she had heard, and shivered slightly again, squeezing her eyes shut tight. |
Alex got up at Acheron's request to help him. He looked like he was in pain though. She wondered who had healed him. "What do you need me to do?" She asked quietly as she walked up to the girl. Her mind was still floating back to the previous events but she could concentrate enough to be of some help.

Acheron felt her shiver and thought it was just from him placing the disinfectant on her skin that had coursed it. "Thank you Miss Alex, i need you to hold her arm slightly out from her body like this" she showed her by generally moving her arm in to a bent position across her stomach them moved the arm away from the body. "could you could her arm here, so i can wrap it in a sling?" he asked

Alex gently took hold of the girl's arm and held in the position Acheron had shown. "Of course." She glanced over at Acheron wondering if this was an appropriate time to ask how he'd gotten better. But she asked anyways, the curiosity tearing at her insides. "You look better than you did when that lady took me earlier...Who healed you? How did you get better?" Alex looked at the girl and to make sure she wasn't in too much pain.

Acheron nodded as he let go of Val's arm and let Alex hold it. taking the bandage into both his hands he started to wrap it tightly but not to tightly for it to hurt Val. he wrapped the bandage several times around her arm and looped it around her neck, each time moving her hair out of the way. "Darious was the one who helped me, he bought a women by the name of Araceli to give me a blood transfusion, without them i would have died, i’m just lucky i guess." he replied to her question with a weak smile.
After looping the bandage several more times around Val's neck and arm he fastened the edge with a safety pin. "okay you should be able to put her arm down now. |
Alex gently laid the girl's arm down and stepped back. She was just glad that Acheron was alright. If Acheron had been killed for her sake she would have hated herself for it. She reached up and tightened the small white bows in her hair for they had loosened and were beginning to fall from her hair.
Alex looked at the girl once more and proceeded to introduce herself. "Hello, sorry about not introducing myself earlier but, my name is Alex. What's yours?" She smiled shyly at the girl, tilted her head slightly to the right, and held out her hand for a handshake. |
Val opened her eyes as he set her arm down, and listened to the two talk for a while. She ws mildly interested, but it was none of her business so she didn't pry. She looked up at the girl who stood before her, her hand held out. Val reached out and shook it with her uninjured hand. "Oh, it's cool," she said with a smile. "I'm Valeria, or Val. It's nice to meet you Alex." She looked at both of them, smiling sheepishly. "Thanks for the help. I think I'll be well enough to go home by morning, so I'll be out of you're hair." |
"I'm sure we can arrange for you to get a lift or something back to the village in the morning, i wouldn't want to see you hurt again if you walk." Acheron moved from behind the chair so that the two of them could see him. "we have plenty of spare room, i could take you to one to rest?" he suggested. maybe if Lady Vexous doesn't know she can go..... Home just maybe. but that means i need to get them both out of the living room.

"Ah, no, I can walk," Val said quickly. "I really don't want to be more trouble then necessary. I walk through the mountains all the time, but it was dark so I was clumsy..." she trailed off, listening as he asked if they wanted someplace to spend the night. Val nodded, the idea of face planting into a bed suddenly sounding like the best thing in the world. "If you don't mind, that would be awesome," she said, trying to hold back a yawn. "It doesn't have to be anything special; if you wanted to stick me in a four foot by five foot cellar I'd be cool," she said in a light, joking tone. Of course, if he really tried that, she'd sleep in a hall or something, but she had a feeling he wouldn't. |
Acheron Laughed at her joking tone. "no no, as i said we have plenty of room, Lady Vexous looks after all the rroms and keeps them in top condition, she likes to make people feel at home... well when she's not made and totally out of it that is." he smiled and laughed weakly.
"do you need help walking, we will have to go up quite a few stairs." he turned to Alex aswell. "i can understand if your scared, but you are more then welcome to stay to, vexous is in the village now, so the safest place is here." he told her. |
