Val was tired. She felt weak enough to collapse right there and then. She found herself standing next to a railing; she hoped Rasul wouldn't mind if she paused for a rest. She leaned heavily on it, her soft pink hair falling into her eyes and creating a curtain between her and the world.

Josephine rippled her long serpentine body, scales bristling as she plotted her revenge. She looked for a good place to land, and spotted one of the castle's towers. Circling it, she roared, the sound traveling across the forest and echoing back from the mountains. She found one of the windows and shifted back into her most human form, before opening it and slipping through. She swiftly closed the window, hoping no one had felt the cold draft that followed her. 'If I was a conniving wizard,' she thought to herself, 'Where would I stay?' She walked down a long flight of stairs, and reached what seemed to be the entrance hall. 'I must have gone down farther than I thought!' she thought to herself. Josephine turned the corner, and paused before an open doorway. "...I can carry the lady once more." she heard Vincent say. With a hiss she stepped forward, and stuck her head out the open door. Acheron, Vincent, Vexous, and four other people she didn't know were standing there.

Josephine ducked back behind the corner, before reaching her mind out to touch Vexous'. "Vexous? What are you doing with a traitorous wizard? Are you back to your normal self?" she asked sarcastically, after making sure that no one could intrude on their conversation.

Tania sighed, the hunt was over, and her prey had evaded her. She entered the castle through the open doors, and started to walk towards the main hall, she could feel the presence of many different people there, and it interested her. She walked through the open doorway, sniffing around before catching a familiar scent. She padded over to the chair and licked Vexous' leg, whimpering. "I wish I could tell you I'm stuck." she thought, unaware that every telepath could hear her. "I can't get out of this form," she sat, than laid down on Vexous' feet.

(Hope that's an okay post after being gone for so long...)

Upon the arrival of the small wolf that trotted in and laid itself on Vexous, he was slightly surprised to see Vexous have a pet were. At least this is what he assumed until her heard the thing speak, in his mind rather actually. His eyebrows rose in unison as he realized that it was yet another female and that she was proclaiming to be 'stuck'. He didn't know much about were anatomy considering the ones he had come across were sent to kill him or rather just wanted him as another meal.

"Child... Why do you not just let yourself go from that form?" There were some debates that he had heard about a were's shift and how to get back to the human state when stuck. He thought that he would pity the small thing and suggest trying just what he had heard and read to see if it would help her. "You can change back. Just let go of the beast's mind."

Tania looked at him startled, "But, I can't talk, how can you understand me? So, let go of the beast's mind? Just relax? Think like a human, not a wolf?" she pondered before just willing herself to relax. She slowly melted back into a human form, but felt surprisingly cold. She looked down, and her face went bright scarlet. She was standing there in front of the most influential people in the castle in her lacy pink underwear and matching bra.
(:rofl: After you guys respond, I’ll probably have her run out of the room.)

Vincent was amused at this female's small string of questions and couldn't help smiling slightly at her. "Telepathy my dear, as you seem to be an owner of it now too. Yes, try to be like the person you once were before the transformation." He couldn't bring himself to call her a 'human' since she was obviously not of their race anymore. At least by his standards she wasn't.

After she transformed, her face growing scarlet red; Vincent's body began to shake with laughter. It began in his chest as something like something more animalistic and changed into something more human or normal as it came out.

Tania looked at Vincent, wide-eyed and red-cheeked. He was laughing at her. She started crying, and quickly raced out of the room, trying to find her way to her old rooms. She made it in, and shut the door behind her before walking over to her small wardrobe. She opened it, as her shame was slowly replaced by anger. "How dare he laugh at her what did he know." she fumed silently, pulling on one of her old maid dresses, her only clean clothes. With a sigh she looked out the window, and froze. The edges of the sky were starting to lighten with the approach of dawn.

(Does anyone mind if I turn it to Daytime, we've been at night for about 50 pages ;))

Vincent's laughter was cut short in surprise as the female began to shed tears and raced away into some other spot of the castle. Shaking his head slowly he sighed, "She's a bit of a touchy one isn't she?" He asked with a smile. Remembering that he was suppose to play the part of a gentleman and the hero Vincent turned to the rest of the group and added quickly, "I ah, I should go apologize to her. That was rude of me. Please excuse me for the moment." He turned and quickly left the room and began to wander down the halls. "Alright... Where would she be in this place now. Surely not on a lower level and not on this level. I assume she'd be in a room upstairs."

He began to climb the stairs that he had carried Vexous down and walked down the long stretch with doors on either side of him. Sighing he thought to himself, "This may take awhile to find her actually..." His senses still off from the spirits and other creatures in the castle walls.

Val could hear someone moving nearby. SHe looked up and saw no sign of Rasul, her heart sinking a little. Maybe it's Acheron she thought, looking up the stairs. "Hello," she called out questioningly, tentativley. "Is anyone there?"

((Hi hi Kitkat! I saw your other post before this but failed to welcome you back, forgive me? Oh yeah, WELCOME BACK!!!))

He paused as he heard a female's voice call out. Moving to the direction in which it came from, he almost ignored it but thought it best to keep playing nice. "Someone else lost in this place?" He asked in response to the female.

(Perfect, you shall perform more hero deeds :yes: Welcome back!)

Tania stood in her room, staring at the light from the window, a small ray of the sun reached over the sill to touch her face, and she shrieked in pain. She dropped to the floor, writhing on the ground, scratching at the burns on her face. "It It It Burns!" she yelled, her newborn skin almost destroyed even through the brief touch of the sunlight. "Help me..." she thought, reaching out to the closest mind, Vincent was just down the hall from her room, and she showed him how to get to her bedroom without thinking much about it. There was a small lock on the door, but it would be no problem for an adult vampire to kick through it.

Vincent's wondering of who the new disembodied voice belonged to now would have to wait, he'd be sure to investigate once he dealt with the initial plan. His head snapped in the direction of her room and wasted now time moving swiftly to her door, giving it one good kick near the handle to pop it open. He let out a loud hiss as he spied the exposed window. Using his vampiric swiftness again he went to close the window, his own body sustaining slight damage to the rays as well since it was a nice view of the rising sun.

Bending down to the injured female were he was slightly confused at why the light had injured her as well. "You shouldn't be affected so as a were." He leaned his head in closer to catch a whiff. "What are you?" He murmured in a low voice to her as he gathered her light body in his arms and pulling her close. "You are safe now child. Let me see your wounds." He spoke gently to her, lightly placing a hand on one of her own as she continued to writhe and moan in pain. His own hand and that side of the face slightly burned as well, he could feel and see his flesh already beginning to quickly heal.

Val could hear that someone had been approaching, and then heard the terryfying screams for help. She felt the color drain from her face; she needed to sit down. She eased herself onto the step, Rasul's words ringing in her head. She curled up on the step, still feeling chilled, straining to hear any other activity.

((Yay! Thank you. n.n Sadly Vincent won't find Val till later since he needs to make sure Tania is alright and to apologize first. Then he'll come find you. n.n Or you could make it down to the main living area where everyone else is for now.))

[If Val could do that she'd be beastly. She hasn't had the energy for anything so complex yet, so I think she'll just chill out until someone trips on her or something lol.]

Vexous couldn't do much, it all happened so fast. "tania!" she cried as the girl ran off.
wait why am i worrying about her? she's part of the other Vexous's life...right.
closing her eyes she searched the castle for her. stupid girl where does she think she'd going! she's not human anymore that room.......
if was already to late a scream echoed through the castle. "No" she gasped aloud.
she felt like crying for some reason. Vincent get here out of there, she was turned into a Vampire not long ago, she cant survive that much sunlight!.
Vexous tried to stand up and started running to her, but she feel, her legs to weak. Dam it i really do need to feed.
"Acheron, please go help then, heal then hurry!"

Acheron wasn't about to ask how she knew that he had the power to heal, or even that he had power at all, he figured that would come later.
insteed he nodded and quickly bolted as fast as he could in the direction of Tania's room.
the smell of burning flesh was in the air and he had to cover his mouth to stop from throwing up. "Quickly out of the room, Tania is still a young Vampire and Half Werewolf at that too, i dont know if she can heal herself or not!"

Darious could help but smile at her, it seemed Araceli was getting jealous just thinking about it, which only made his smile that much bigger.
He could help himself, he pinned her up against the wall, his body tightly pressed up against hers as his hands held hers high and low. He lent down to whisper in her ear. "this could have been a secret passage way two forbidden lovers used to see each other, he could ve carved this piece of work as a gift to her, and every time they could they meet her, out of sight from all of those who thought their love wrong."
He brushed he lips against her ear before lightly kissing her neck. "what do think?"

"It is under control love, so doesn't seem to have sustained much damage. Acheron isn't needed. She'll be fine. I promise you." Apparently this female was named Tania and was cared for by Vexous. He began to stand and turn towards the door as soon as Acheron came through. Vincent was amused that he couldn't stomach the smell as well as he had thought for someone who lived in a castle full of blood and gore.

With the window covered once again and Acheron informing him of what Tania was, Vincent sniffed her once again. "That's why you smell strange to me. You smell like roses that were rolled over on by dogs. Strange combination actually." He said softly chuckling as he walked out of the room. Looking at Acheron now, Vincent began to assure him, "She'll be fine. Minor wounds so it seems. If she needs help, I'll let her drink from me to heal."

She was surprised with Darious, the movements so quick it made her jumpy on the inside as he pinned her against the wall. As he whispered to her, she closed her eyes slightly her body relaxing along though it felt sensitive to her. A strong yearning grew inside her to kiss him as he finished with a question, his lips just seconds ago on her neck. She could still feel the sensation there lingering.
"If it is true... I think that the lady was a lucky woman. If that was true then I think this place holds more secrets to discover." She brought her face closer to his as she talked, her warm breathe stroking his cheek as she lightly stroked the side of his face with her own; her lips stopping lightly over his own as she nipped playfully once.

The pure fact that Araceli was playing along made his blood boil, he wanted to do so many things at that point to her. "you are one heck of a women you know that?" he told her as his lips brushed across hers as he spook. "i'd have you in a heart beat...if only i was human." be pulled back and realised her then, looking down at her he smiled.
"The man you end up loving.....oh man i envy him already."

Vexous let out a sigh of relief, mind you see was still on the floor at this point.
I dont know what i'd do without you gorgerous. she send back. a smile on her face she shook her head. Acheron doesn't like you at all, i think he's almost jealous.

Acheron turned his head away from the pear as Vincent mentioned blood. "it's that blood that got her into this mess, i really doubt that would help her much!" he shoot back before turning and moving away, heading back towards the stairs he lent against them his head in his heads. Ii think i'm taking to hate that guy! there's just something not right with him."What the heel is going on around here?" he asked alound.

(("mind you see was still on the floor at this point" That made me laugh for some reason. XD Needed to share that with ya.))

She shivered in delight as he played on with her, his lips passing over hers' as he spoke. "Am I?" She asked with mock surprise in a slightly more seductive voice making it sound more velvet like. As he pulled away and smiled down at her, she could've just melt right there like butter. Her attraction for him was becoming stronger with every passing moment that they spent together.

She didn't like hearing the last part, it struck her as she took a moment to let it sink in. Tilting her head slightly and looking at him with a frown she asked, "Maybe I love you. Is that so wrong?" Concern wrinkled her brow as she looked at him, a slight blush appearing to dust over her cheeks.

He couldn't help the smile, he really couldn't once her heard the last part about Acheron. "You've done fine with out me love, who said you wouldn't be better off without me? He added playfully. He liked Vexous a lot and was not planning on going anywhere else at this point. Even if her magician didn't approve of him. "He'll be dead soon anyway." He thought to himself as he looked over Acheron as he began to exclaim.

"With all due respect, she'll need blood if she truly needs help healing. She is a strange breed that I had no hand in creating and am only offering my assistance if it is needed." "A breed I wouldn't mind collecting actually..." He though glancing over Tania before back at the retreating Acheron. He chuckled as he heard him give another outburst again about what was going on. "Your magician is amusing Vexous. Too bad we can't make him a jester."

Vexous frowned at the image that just appeared in her head, then she burst out laughing. OMG i so should have made him do that! she send back still laughing.
she couldn't shake the picture of Acheron in a Pink and Purple costume covered in bells. "and that funny hat, add the dances and .........hahahahahahaha."
she got a few weird looks from the people around her that soon made her shut up. "sorry about that, i couldn't help myself, ya know with the whole feeling under the weather thing and all.

Darious voice was stuck in his throat, no body in his whole enter life had even told him that they loved him, not even his own mother. To love is a sign of weakness, remember that Darious and it may save your life! his mothers voice echoed in his head. He lifted her chin so that he could look into her eyes. "But my Love i am not a man, and the only way we could be together would be to........ No i wont allow you to throw your life away, you still have a life you deserve to live it to it's fullest."
He placed his forehead against her's. "I'm not exactly human......"

Vincent laughed softly as he and Vexous thought more about dressing Acheron up as the jester. It was a rather ridiculous idea that would be worth playing out, especially with that long flowing hair and a nice big frown on his face. It was all just too perfect a thought.

Araceli's eyes instantly began to grow moist at the sound of Darious' rejection. "You can touch me though..." She whispered back softly, her head tilting down to the floor now to hide her face. She wiped away the starts of her tears as he placed his forehead against her own adding he wasn't human.
"I guess I'm more fit to be alone then... She thought harshly to herself. The thought felt like it cut through her like a knife. She knew what he said was true but she was far too stubborn to just accept it.

"I don't have much of a life here anymore Darious." She added now, her voice becoming stronger. "I have nothing keeping me here or anywhere. Where am I suppose to go? Or who am I suppose to be?" She looked up at him through her lashes, their heads still touching. "I thought that this would be my new home." She added her voice softening again.

Darious couldn't but feel that he was the cause of those tears. His face softened. "yes i can touch you, and only you." he said running his hand from her hip up to just under her beast. "Which only confuses me more, Araceli i fear you have stolen my heart, i cant push you away, i wont." he kissed her forehead lightly. "for so many years i've been seeing the world in black and white not being to touch anyone or anything, you give me hope, but i dont know if a man...... a ghost like me deserves such a thing, you could have so much better, you know that right." closing his eyes he sighed as he could feel her entire being. "You are always welcome here, this is your home, i just have to made this clear to you, it's wont be an easy path."

Araceli just couldn't keep up the fake front that she was making for him when she had been saying her part moments ago. Her tears ran freely now down her face as she listened to him. It was the most perfect thing to hear from someone where she didn't think a life with anyone was possible due to her current occupation. "But you do deserve to be with someone that you truly care about! Especially if I have stolen your heart. I will not leave you and I wish to stay here with you, there is nothing better for me out there or anywhere else? And why would I look for something else when I have found something so utterly perfect for me?" Her tears turned into soft sobs now. She was greatly upset at the idea of not being with him and found it scary.
"Are relationships ever easy anyway?" She asked through her soft sobbing.

kimmy a small girl was hiding for her life she knew that their were bad men after her trying to stick her back into that caged world were she didnt want to go. she was hiding in a bush she knew she just passed a village "i should be safe." she got out of the bush only to see the men looking straight at her "oh no." she ran as fast as she could away from the men when she came across a rather large castle she didnt even think she just ran to the door and started to knock hoping someone their would help her.
