“Don’t worry this one is here!” Kaedo said with a cough and waved his arm over his head. “This one told him not to put us in the water again. But does he listen to this one? Why of course not!” Kaedo hollered as he swam in Alex’s direction. “This one imagines that he thinks it was funnier not to tell us.” Kaedo said in response to Alex as he neared her.
“And funny it was indeed!!” The other voice remarked loudly with a laugh. “ It isn’t like she’s hurt, right? Your fine aren’t you?” The other voice questioned as he stopped in front of Alex, his eyes flickering wildly with excitement. Once inside Mikhial silently carried Nix up to where he recalled the bed rooms to be and quietly stalked his way into one of the rooms. Totally unaware of the tabby cat that was inhabiting a part of the room. With his head hung low as though in sorrow he carefully placed Nix down on the bed. He stood in his half form with a fixsated stare on the vampire that he had laid down upon the bed. Then he made a low whimpering sound. ((@Death_to_the_reaper: I thought this would be something interesting to happen. If you don’t wish to go along with it, then just say so and I can change things up some)) |
Seeing the horrified look on Kimmy's face, Kayla knew some kind of explanation was needed. She unlocked the door, opened it for a split second, took up the cause of the terror in her arms, then gently closed the door and locked it again. "Oh, sorry Kimmy. This is Timber, my cat. He was digging through the trash behind the castle so I rescued him! But shh...don't tell anyone!" She looked down at the tiger-like kitten and petted him gently.

Dawn opened her eyes and moved, startled as she felt something being dropped next to her. Her eyes widened as she saw it was a girl. She got closer and sniffed her, a vampire's scent drifted through her nose. The tabby hissed and ran towards the chest at the end of the bed. "Meow!!!" A hiss rising in her voice as she smelled a dog's scent as well. Slowly, Dawn changed back into her ghostly form and looked around the room.

kimmy didnt even notice that it was just a kitten she was still crying and throwing a fit she was terified.

Josephine tried to settle herself as Acheron was thrown out of the window by Vexous, and smiled at the vampire's comment. "I hope you don't miss next time," she added, before Vexous's weight was added to her back. "You might find it easier to point out our destination if you sit between my legs and put pressure on the wing in the direction you want to go." she told her, steadying herself in the air and trying to be as balanced as possible. |
Dhaymar was on his way back to his hidey hole but decided he should try and get some food. He paused and focused on making his scent stronger. Because of the experiments done to him, his scent could attract other living things. It was one of the main reasons he had been kept away from the Masters other slaves and experiments. Living things tended to get weird around him. They either tried to eat him or mate with him. It's a little embarrassing when you wake up to bunny getting it on with your leg. Really his biggest problem was rats. . .they tried to naw on him more than once.
Once he was sure he had pushed enough of his scent around he went back to his hidey hole and set up the traps. Soon something would come along searching for the thing they had smelled and walk into his trap. He had always felt clever with his little trap. It could even take down deer if they were brave enough to come in this far. Dhaymar climbed into his pile of rags he had been using as blankets for years. He gave a yawn but knew better than to sleep after he had pushed his scent out. He had done that once and a cougar had come to call. It was a close call and not one he wanted to make again. So Dhaymar waited. (( Note- he can't get rid of his scent power completely but he can make it lower or higher )) |
Alex laughed a little. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I promise." She wiped water from her face again. "So, we're in the garden now?" She asked looking around as she swam to the edge of the water. Water dripped off her clothes as she stood up at the edge of the water and tried to wring out her skirt. She brushed her hair away from her face and looked back at Kaedo. "C'mon slow poke!" She laughed and splashed some water at him.

Kayla had been focused on the kitten for a while, but upon hearing Kimmy's consistent wailing, she put him down and quickly ran to her aid. "Kimmy, relax! It's only a kitten! No one is ever going to hurt you." Then she tried to give her a hug to make her feel better.

Startled by the cats sudden movement, Mikhial jumped backward and looked about the place wildly. “Surely it was a cat…. It smelt like a cat… but then different… somehow…” Mikhial thought silently to himself as he looked about the room to see where the cat might have gone. At the sound of the meow and the hiss, Mikhial was able to immediately pin point the location of the cat. But when he looked in the direction of the noise, he was startled to see a ghost there instead. “Did you see…?” he began to say, his voice low and gravely due to him being in his half form. “Aww…. Never mind… perhaps it was only my imagination…” He added as he looked to the ghost in a quizzative manner. “I’m… sorry … I didn’t mean to intrude… or anything… If this is your place… then I can… take him to rest eals where….” Mikhial said as he looked back at the vampire again.
((Its okay)) “That is good to know that you are okay that it is. This one does not know what he would have to do to his other self if you were hurt on his behalf.” Kaedo said as he pounded a closed fist into his open palm. “Um, yes that we are. It is quite pretty, but this one still does not like it.” Kaedo said totally unaware that Alex was swimming off to shore already. Then when she called to him, he nearly jumped out of his skin in shock. “This one is coming already.” Kaedo called happily as he made his way to the shore. His robe was drenched and clung to his body causing him to trip as he exited the water. Unable to catch his footing as he foiled forward into Alex’s splash and then right into her outstretched arms. “O’ this one is so sorry!!!” Kaedo began to say in a panicked voice as he tried to get his feet back under him, his face turning slightly red as he did so. |

Her eyes closed as nodded and looked at the were. "I was the cat." Dawn said softly as she sat on the bed and looked at the vampire. "You're fine to be in here. I can't stop you." She sighed as she looked at her hands. "I should have stopped myself...stupid me..." The room grew colder as she dropped into the state of drepression.

Alex giggled as Kaedo went on about how he would punish his other self. "But how would you punish him without punishing yourself?" She looked confused at him as he swam to the edge of the water. She tried to brace herself as Kaedo fell into her arms but she couldn't help but fall backwards when they impacted. Moving his robe out of the way, she tried to help him up. "That's alright! Are you okay?" She stood up and brushed the dirt off her skirt then looked at Kaedo. "There's no need to be embarrased...but maybe you should take off your robe until it's dry."

[[Eek, trying to get back into the swing of things]] Val opened her eyes slowly, unsure of how long she had been asleep. She felt stiff and uncomfortable from sleeping on the stairs, but she was feeling a little better and breathing a little easier. Shakily, she rose to her feet, looking around. She could hear movement in the huge house, but she couldn't pinpoint it, and the hall before her was empty. "Hello," she called out, feeling like she was just repeating herself. If someone hasn't found you yet, they aren't going to now, she thought. You need to help yourself. she stepped off the stairs and looked around, trying to get a sense of where she was. |
“O’ well then… that explains the smell. Not that it’s a bad smell! I… was just… um confused as to how… you smelled like a cat sort of and a ghost …. at the same… time….” Mikhial began to explain himself and then quietly trialed off in his words. “I… I wouldn’t be so sure of that… What I mean is… I’m sure you could if you wanted to… I’ve haven’t encountered many ghost before, but the ones I have, have proven to be worthy advisories…” He then stopped in what he was saying as he realized the cold draft that was starting to inhabit the room. At her words, “I should have stopped myself,” an empathetic expression came across Mikhial’s wolfen face. “I don’t know what… happened to make you say such a thing… but I understand… how you feel….” He said as he sat down on the bed beside her in an awkward attempt to be comforting. “We all do things that we… regret… This vampire here suffers in a forever dream like state due to me… And before him… there was… Kira…. and he’s dead now… because of… because of my… foolishness…” Mikhial said in a low whimper as he stared at his up turned hands and claws with disgust.
“O’ you big dolt!! You expect her to believe that?! It’s written all over your or rather our face, that you did it unpurpose!!” The other voice hollered once he was back to his feet. “No, don’t say such things, this one did not do it unpurpose!! This one would not think of such vile things as you would. Like trying to drowned us!” Kaedo yelled back as he started to ring out the bottom of his robe. “Shut up you idiot, I can’t hear what she’s saying over your lame babble.” The other voice growled then looked over in Alex’s direction. “You’ll have to excuse my others self, he’s quite childish at time.” The voice added in a whisper to Alex. “This one heard that!!” Kaedo grumbled. “You were meant to.” The voice retorted sarcastically. “O’ yes what you were saying? We are quite alright and I’ll have you know none of that blush and lame act was my idea.” He added as he undid the top two buttons of his robe and then proceeded to take it off over his head. “But while were down here, I do have an idea of something that we should do.” The other voice said as a mischievous smile spread across his face. “Why does this one not like the sounds of that?” Kaedo moaned as he whipped his wet hair from his face. “O’ but you well, Kaedo.” The other voice replied as he took of his long sleeved shirt and tossed it and the robe off to one side as he started to stride further into the garden. “We’re going to get some revenge….” The voice trailed off as he walked past Alex. A hint of the large tattoo on his back becoming more visable from under his drenched hair. |
Dhaymar had waited for a while but so far nothing had come into his traps. He wondered if it would be a slow night or if nothing would come at all. He really didn't want to go another day not eating . . or worse eating rats. He got out some soft rocks he had found that he could use to draw on the walls and floor. He started to doodle. There wasn't much space left but it was a nice way to pass the time. He had gotten better but sadly most of what he drew still ended up not looking like what he had intended it to.

kimmy stoped crying "please dont let them get me can you please get a adult to help us." she was about to burst into tears again "are their adults here i really dont want to be hiding and not be alowed here." she was thinking that they would get her but she didnt feel right not being alowed in the house.

Dawn looked at the wolf and smiled as he tried to comfort her. Her eyes closed as he seemed to become sadder himself. She quickly changed into her cat form and rubbed his chest with her paws. "Meow...you don't want to hear my story. It'll prove that I was an idiot."

kayla sighed heavily, then began to explain. "You see, Kimmy, there are adults here, but most of them are vampires. I don't know them well, but I know they can't be trusted." she said, hoping not to scare Kimmy again. She's been her only friend in the castle so far, and she didn't want to lose her.

Alex attempted to speak up and stop their arguing but her pleas were drowned out. "Please stop...Don't fight! There's no need..." Her eyes were wide as she watched Kaedo and his other self throw comments back and forth. "Guys please..." But they only ignored so she stopped and looked down at the ground with a grimace on her face.
Alex looked up quickly and tried to reach for Kaedo as he fast-walked past her. He was walking too fast for her to get a hold of him and she caught a glimpse of the tattoo that flowed across his back. She quickly picked up Kaedo's robe and shirt and ran after him. "What do you mean revenge? Revenge on who?" She had a desperate but curious expression on her face as she tried to keep up with Kaedo. "Please don't do anything reckless..." |
"Well that's great!" Kayla began, relieved that the little girl wasn't scared. "Some of the vampires I know are like that too. I haven't met any in this dusty old castle yet, but they just have to be here!" she exclaimed, not knowing that a long lost friend of hers may be there as well. The sound of the stampede outside the tiny window faded away, and Kayla continued to say, "Whew. Well Kimmy, it sounds like your pursuers are gone! There's nothing to be afraid of anymore!".

As the cat gestured to be comforting back, Mikhial snapped out of his gloom. “I’m sorry… Look at me caring on with my…. Life story like this….. When you don’t even know who I ‘m… Nor do I know your name…. If it is okay… That I may ask it…?” He said as he attempted to change the subject from something other then their own past hardships. He then raised his one hand as though he was going to gently stroke the cat and then with drew it quickly. “Sorry…. I didn’t mean to… I know some don’t like to be ‘petted’… And I can understand that…. I’d be one of those sorts….. myself….” He added softly.
Kaedo looked over his shoulder at Alex as she began to ask questions but didn’t slow his speed at all. “I almost forgot about you over there.” The other voice said as he motioned for her to hurry up. “You can help us. And it isn’t,” He paused for a moment in what he was saying as though thinking. “It’s nothing bad honest. Were actually doing something good. Were going to be helping people.” He added in a reassuring tone. “O’ this one thinks he knows what your planning, that he does.” Kaedo finally chimed in. “Are we going to free the others?” He then asked as he friendly offered his hand out for Alex to take it as they continued further into the cave. “Exactly!” The other voice retorted proudly. “Do you care to join us, Lady Alex?” The other voice added as he stopped just long enough to get her reply. ((Sorry it isn't much for you two to go of from. But I think it makes for good cliff hanger of sorts)) |
