He looked at her curiously. Not really knowing why he said, "Master gave me different blood too. It made me different. This dragon blood it made you different too yes?" It was an innocent question and he was curious. He did not know Master had done this to others as well. "My cage was in seperate room. I had to be alone or others tried to eat me or mate me," he chuckled and continued, "Master always annoyed at this." He could laugh at it now but back then he often got pain of some kind when a stray slave managed to get near him. Master did not take kindly to others messing with his things. He said, "Yes past is past. We go now to shiny ball so I can get food." He walked to the other end and disabled yet another trap. "Further ahead less traps but they hurt more," he said as a warning and then walked forward.

Vexous smiled and nodded, "the dragon blood made me turn purple, grow these ears." she told him pointing to elf like ears. "and it gave me some strange abilities, so in a sense i guess i'd be part dragon now." looking at the boy she wondered just what he missed with. "the blood completely changed my appearance, i used to have blond hair believe it or not.
Vexous couldn't help but laugh at his comment. "i guess that would have made in uncomfortable for everyone involved," she could understand that he had to be kept alone mainly because she was starting to feel it's pull to, but it was nothing to deep under her skin for her to jump him, it was merely there, she found him extremely attractive and he did smell really good. but she wasn't going to mention that. she giggled about as he seemed to get excited about food. "yep the sooner the better, not to worry i cant take care of myself, but a warning is always handy." walking side by side with him, they walked in silence for a short while until her stepping on something that went 'click' made her stop. "umm not to be annoying or anything but what was that i just stood on?" |

He did not divulge the fact about the Were blood that had been given him. It was the one thing that he was greatly embarrassed about. What normal man wants to turn into a woman once a month. "I warn you of traps," he said confidently. As they walked his mind kept going back to the treats she had given him. They were so tasty. He licked his lips, heard the click and then listened to her speak. "Do not lift foot or you will get hurt. Sorry I was thinking of food and forgot this one. I do not come here much anymore." He went over to the cave wall and scratched his head. This was one of the few he did not know how to disable. He had always known it was there so he never stepped on it. He turned and said, "I can't disable. . it sprays and melts people. What do we do?" He hoped she wouldn't die. If she died her pack would blame him and kill him. . .plus that meant no food.

Alexia stayed with Acheron with fear he would get hurt again she stood up and walked a little ways away from him watching him slightly from the corner of her eyes. She stayed watch for Vexous or anything else that might come so she could keep her friend safe.

~He twitched his ears up to listen closely for any danger nearby. Not sensing anything he crawled out of his alleyway finishing up the scraps that the humans had thrown out the night before. He rolled his shoulders running his fingers through his white hair tiredly.~ God I'm so bored.

Vexous smiled. "spray that melts you say, sounds like some sort of acid, hmmm" not moving her foot she raised her hand to her chin. "where exactly does the 'spray come from do you know?" she asked. searching the room she couldn't really find any stop that looked like acid would come through, it would be slightly melted right? unless no one usually makes it this far, it could come from anywhere. she thought to herself. "i can shield us in my shadow form for about 5 seconds, it'll hurt but we should get away with only a few burns." hopefully. she added in her head. "once i shift forms though my foot will leave this switch so you'll have to stay close to me, and of course i'll need to know where it's coming from, no point protecting you if it comes from behind us." she finished with a small laugh and a wave of her hand. she was actually enjoying herself. "i haven't had this much fun in a long time" Acheron managed a frowned as Vexous and the boy with the ears left the room. "Alexia do you think you could follow them? keep an eye on them for me? i dont think there know what there getting themselves into." she smiled up at her. "i would replay you some how, just name your prize, i'm forever in your debt for helping so many times today." he adjusted his arm with the great bid hole in it and watched as the cloth Alexia had put around it slowly turned red. |
~He Sniffed around smelling a couple of scents down the streets. A couple of live scents from what He could tell. He slowly walked swishing his tail with each step that He took down the deserted street.~ Hmmm..This isn't so bad..Kinda quiet though..

Dhaymar listened to her and back up from the trap saying, "You just have to . . .shadow. . yourself. Since it won't go off while you're stepping on it I can get back away from the melt trap. Will this help you stay. . .shadowed. . longer? Maybe help protect you more?" He did not know how shadows would help protect but it sounded like she knew what she was talking about. He pointed to five spots that went from one wall, on the ceiling and over to the other wall making a half circle. "These are spots that will shoot melting spray."

Vincent had followed in silence as Vexous talked with the strange creature of the cave known as 'Dhaymar'. He kept his arms folded over his chest and a few paces behind the small group once they had begun to walk. This person seemed to be liking Vexous more as the two of them talked, he not wanting to interfere with the conversation. Once they had stopped and Dhaymar refused to take any one else inside but Vexous, he nodded once in their direction that he would indeed stay with Josephine. His eyes went to the direction in which that had came looking for any other signs of movement. He was relieved finally once they had continued on, the smell that Dhaymar was giving off was strong and wonderful. He would have loved to sink his teeth into the flesh of the small thing. He was growing hungry again, and a bit impatient. Perhaps he should go on and find Acheron himself, then again Vexous was determined with Josephine to take down this man together. Seeing as their history was what it was they both held the rights to that man's demise, he of all people would understand this of course. So for the time being, he and Josephine just simply waited and listened. |
((hehe, thanks ^-^ It's really the only thing he's had to worry about so it's always in the front of his mind. When I made him I wasn't completely sure of his personality but it seems to be forming with each post so it's been fun. OH and thanks for making note of his smell :D ))

Alexia looked at Acheron and frowned, she didn't want to leave. She just stayed quiet and left after the two quietly staying out of sight.

Kayla realized that she forgot to get something to drink, so she quickly rushed to the a small cooler in the corner. Digging through all the pouches of blood, she found exactly what she wanted: a bottle of green tea. She was now juggling her food and drink, hoping not to spill anything. Knowing that dining in the cold cramped room would be uncomfortable, she tried to get Kimmy's attention by saying, "How about we go back to my room? It's more comfortable there. Josephine had stayed close to Vincent after he grabbed her from the pit-trap and helped her over, 'Thanks,' she had told him. She glanced over at Vincent and noticed an almost, hungry, look in his eye. With a shrug she held up her wrist and asked, 'Are you getting hungry Vincent? If you want to, you can try out some Chimera blood, but it might not agree with you.' She absently scratched the base of her back, where a faint X could be seen through her tattered shirt. Vexous smiled, "i'll be fine, you just stay back." she told him as she studied the area's where the spray would come out from. i knew where they come from but just what angel with they spray from and with what pressure? she thought to herself. "it seems like i better change form right away i could still be hit with it otherwise." frowning she knew she only hand about a minute in that form, she was running low on energy and didn't want to risk being in it for to long, the results could end up with a cave full of drained victims. "it's times like these i really hate being a vampire!" she said aloud before thinking about it a second time. "on second thought it's quite fun to be that unpredictable." she told him with a smile. He properly had no idea what she was going on about but it really didn't matter. shifting to her shadow form she waited for the sprays to come before moving, not all acidic spray were made up of no living things so if she tried to move to soon and got hit with something it would hurt. She spray began to shoot out much like a building sprinkler system once a fire was detected. she glided herself passed several spray areas before stopping just in front of Dhaymar with a smile on her face. "to easy" she told him, she would need to change back soon but figured it'd be best to change father down from the stray. Her form shimmered much like that of a refection in water as she slightly floated in front of him, "shell we?" she asked intending for them to move on. ((if ya wana see what she looks like, there's an image on the first page....i still wanna draw my own tho lolz)) |
Dhaymar really didn't know what Vexous was going on about and didn't bother to ask. He figured she just liked to talk a lot. He was impressed with how she was able to avoid the spray trap. Even though he was impressed he didn't feel safe. He said to her, "You change back. I don't know what other tricks you know how to do. You change and we go forward." He trusted he so far but it seemed she was always full of surprises.

Vexous sighed back nodded in agreement. "this is gonna hurt." she said more to herself then to Dhaymar.
she focused herself to change form again, this time the transformation wasn't so easy, it was slow and looked rather painful as well. she cringed as she focused her shadow self beneath her skin and out of site bring into site her most commonly used form. slightly panting she lent herself against the nearest wall trying to get her breathe back. closing her eyes she took a deep breathe and focused herself to exhale, thats what hurt the most. she could move without breathing even live without it, but the oxygen helped move her muscles faster so she thought it a good idea at this point to keep a steady supply. it took her awhile but she was soon back on her own two feet, but her eye color had changed, her eyes now blood red she was finding it hard to keep her fangs inside her mouth. "we should probably hurry, today has been a very long day for me, and i need to feed." she began to walk down the corridor again moving deeper into the cave. Several minutes pasted before she managed to walk into something, passing her hands on it, it felt if though it was solid yet passed it looked like a normal corridor that keep winding round the corner. "i thought you said there was only one invisible wall, and the orb was behind it?" she looked confused, "unless the image behind the screen is not what's really there?" she thought to herself out loud. |

Dhaymar watched her change and wondered how badly it hurt. He didn't want her to be in pain but he didn't fully trust her either. Once she had changed he got a little skittish at her words. She was hungry and what if she tried to eat him? He made sure to keep a little distance between them. When they got to the wall he said, "It is just a mind trick." He pointed to what looked like a solid wall and said, "We go that way. There is no wall there but it looks like there is. Master liked mind tricks." |
Vexous frowned and shrugged. "how much father anyways?" she asked Dhaymar, he seemed to be keeping his distance from her, it's to be expected, i did yell to the world i was hungry. shaking her head she figured it'd made him fell uneasy.
sighing she followed him round a small bend and around the 'wall' looking back she could see where that were just standing, "what is this is it made out of glass" slightly knocking on the material of the 'wall' he didn't seem to make any nose at all. |
