Alcair had been laying on the couch, channel surfing while waiting for the night to go by. Such was his usual routine, but it was always, utterly and completely, boring. When he next checked the clock, he found it to be 10 til 6, and smiled. The night had seemed like an eternity, and he had been eager to ppick up his date. That thought made him smile. Even if it wasn't a real date, he was happy to have met this girl, Celyse. She was very pretty, and very... well, accepting. He went and took a quick shower, changed into clean clothes, and grabbed his wallet and car keys before heading out. Around 7:10, he would be at her apartment door, knowcking. |

Celyse was in the living room on the phone. A few minutes later she looked at the clock. It was 7am. She sat on the couch relaxing for a few minutes. Making sure she had everything she needed for work later on. She mentally went through the contents of her purse. Wallet, keys, phone, brush, make-up, mints gum. She stopped the list there, everything else was normal things. She looked back to the clock again. It was 7:10. She jumped when she heard someone knocking on the door. She went to open the door. |

Alcair smiled as teh door opened, smile widening as he saw Celyse. He ahd fully satisfied himself arlier, finishing teh blood from his refridgerator, and he could finally look at her without bloodlust on his mind. And wow, did she look nice. Was he that blind last night? He shurgged off this thought, quickly looking her over. "Morning beautiful. Ready to go?" he asked, meaning to get coffee. That was, afterall, where he had invited her to go. |
Celyse smiled as she opened the door to see him. Morning beautiful, was he trying to make her blush again? She smiled to him as she nodded quickly grabbing her purse and locking the door behind them. She couldn't believe she was going out with him. She was so lucky. She was so happy, and that's something she hadn't had in a while. Someone that made her happy.

Alcair chuckled, then smiled and watched her. She seems eager... then again, so am I. Plus, it's kinda cute. Alcair placed a hand on her mid back as they walked, not quite sure whether to hold her waist or her hand or if he should be holding her at all. He settled for ehr back. When they got to the parking garage, he again approached his black SUV, opening her door for her before getting in himself.

Celyse noticed he was trying to figure out where to keep his hands. She smiled as it finally found her back. A chill went up her spine and she smiled as she made a burr sound. It always felt so good, his cool hands against her warm skin. She followed him to the car happily. She got in and buckled up, placing her purse under her seat. "well thank you" she said with a smile.

Alcair simply nodded and smiled at her thank you. he then clsoed ehr door and got into teh driver's seat, starting the car. Soon they were on teh road and off to the cafe. "So... are you usually up this early?" he asked, glancing at Allie. He knew some people were early birds while otehrs slept in. Alcair was simply curious. |
Celyse looked over to him and shook her head. "not really.. but I have to get used to it from work.. so its not that bad.." she said softly as she looked over to him. "what about you.. do you.. sleep?" she asked softly. I hope its not awkward or uncomfortable for him when I ask these questions she thought softly. Looking back to him she said "you don't have to answer that if you don't want to.." she said putting her head down. Great! Her first 'date' and she messes it up. She just had to relax and stop being so on edge.

Alcair's happy expression faltered for a moment before he read her thoughts. Smiling, he glanced at her again. "Relax.." he then hesitated before answering the question she had asked. "I don't sleep usually... but sometimes I do.. Depends on my mood, really." |

Celyse looked over at his expression. Her face fell. She did the one thing she didn't want to do, she upset him. When he smiled she wasn't sure if it was a fake smile or not. She took a deep breath and did try to relax. It was interesting, on a first date, your date can read your mind.. she thought with another small smile. "that's cool.. sometimes I wish I could stay up all night.." she said softly. She mentally was slapping herself, she was making this far too uncomfortable. |

Alcair simply smiled. "You didn't upset me.." He then listened to her answer, shrugging. "It's rather boring actually, I just channel surf..." his voice trailed off a bit, feeling the awkwardness of the conversation. Ass if on cue, he pulled into the parking lot of the cafe. He turned to smile at her. "Here we are." |
Celyse looked over to him and smiled at his smile. "channel surfing can be fun" she said with a smile. She would improve this day, she didn't want him to think poorly of her and never talk to her again. "its beautiful.. I have never been here.." she said as she grabbed her bag, before unbuckling and getting out. She ran to the door and held it open for him. "here you go sir.." she said with a bow.

Alcair smiled. "I thought you might like it.." He locked the car before walking in, looking around. It was rather dead for this time of day, but he was kind of grateful for that... it would be more peaceful. He turned to Celyse to thank her for opening the door. "Thanks." he said simply, smiling. He then looked up at the menu. "What would you like, madam?"

Celyse noticed the cafe was pretty empty. That could be good and bad. After he walked inside she said "your welcome" Walking to the counter, looking at the menu she said "maybe a strawberry banana smoothie.. or a muffin.. what do you think?" she said turning to face him. Mentally hitting herself, she did it again. She would get used to it, she would. "sorry.." she said softly as she looked back to the menu.

Alcair followed her up to the counter, chuckling. "Keep saying sorry and I'll start to feel bad.. There's no need to apologize." He ordered both of the things she had asked his opinion on; a strawberry banana smoothie and a muffin, her choice. For himself, he ordered plain coffee. When their order was up, he grabbed their drinks and her muffin and looked for a place to sit.

Celyse looked to him and smiled. "alright then.." she said with another smile. Watching him order as the woman behind the counter became flustered. She was glad she wasn't the only one.She let out a small gasp as he bought the smoothie and the muffin. She only wanted one. She smiled to him and said "thank you.." as she looked and saw the two comfy chairs with a table in between. "how about those?" she asked as she pointed to the table.

Alcair cast another smile down at Celyse, hearing her gasp. "No problem." He then looked to where she had pointed and nodded. It did indeed seem to look comfortable. "Alright." Alcair walked to the table, setting down their drinks and her muffin, and then sitting down in one of the chairs. He didn't lean back all the way, for fear of being swallowed by its cushions.

Celyse smiled to him and went to sit. She sat on the chair, not leaning back also. She was short, so the chair would eat her alive. It was always a fear of hers. She looked over and took the smoothie. Placing the blue straw in her cup she took a small sip. "its great, thank you" she said with a smile. She looked over to him and said "so tell me some more about the school... it looks beautiful from the website...what's the hub?" she asked tilting her head to the side.

Alcair simply smiled and nodded, taking a sip of his coffee as she enjoyed her smoothie. "Well.. it's the art district, the oldest building on campus. It's rather deserted most days, but some student still hang out in there. Some put up art or pictures they have made in classes... its more of an old gallery than anything, though. The second would be the guys' dorm building. The dorms are separated by gender there.. and they had rebuilt the girls' dorm last year." he explained, not sure if that had answered her question or not.

Celyse looked to him and smiled as he explained. "oh that would be so much fun! I used to carry around a camera as a kid but now, not so much, I think I want to be a teacher instead.." she said softly. "that would be cool to see though.. yea, my old school, had the same rules..." She looked at him excited "I can't wait to see the dorms, that has to be cool" she said with a smile.

Alcair smiled and chuckled at her excitement. It was nice to see. "Yeah.. it's my favorite building." he said softly, smiling at her enthusiasm. "I think you'll like it here, then." he replied to her next excitement-filled comment. He could already tell.

Celyse looked over to him and smiled. "yea, for once I am excited about going to school.. according to the site it is one of the top schools here.. I am glad I was accepted.." she said with a smile. Though even happier you will be going as well. She thought then blushed as she remembered he could read her thoughts.
