Sam held back making a look of pain. Her head wasn't really sensitive but it was a bit of a shock to have it pulled. "Really?" she questioned repeating the altered word for the child. She laughed a little as she kept bent over so she didn't pull her own hair out by moving away from the little hand wrapped around her hair.

Ophelia looled back to Sam and smiled, knowing what Sam was trying when the woman repeated the word but she didn't quite have it that time but a couple more repetitions and she had it, "Sank you!" she exclaimed with a happy grin, looking around proudly and focusing on Asu again, not particularly understanding him as he said, "She can speak quite well actually but can't always remember her words."

Abel chuckled a bit and lifted the girl when she hadn't let go of Sam's hair, "It'd probably be easier if you just took her. She's clean enough if that's what you're worried about."

Sam laughed taking Ophelia. "I'm not worried about cleanness just how hard she'll pull." She said simply. "Oh, really. Well do you know what I think? Its ok to forget some words." She said to the little girl with a smile.

Abel nodded, "Well that too."

Asu nodded, "It sure is." he sighed, "She used to know a curse word, first thing she ever said to me too. Shocked me plum speechless." he shook his head, smiling softly still.

Ophelia looked blank for a moment before nodding, giggling and tugging at the chunk of hair in her hand. She hadn't meant to but had been shifting how she was held and had used it to help her.

"Oh that can't be...ow" She was interupted as the child moved around. "And now I know how Rapunzel felt." Samantha said with a sigh. Before continuing. "Bat I can see how that shocked you." She said with a smile though the laugh that would of followed was gone.

Asu nodded and was silent for a few moments before looking at Abel, "You've got a meeting in less than an hour. Don't you need to get ready for that?"

Abel blinked and jumped up, "You're right!" he said, tapping his head and leaving the room quite quickly, almost at a run.

Asu chuckled when Abel was gone and moved, "Alright, he won't be back for a while, where's the words?" he asked, looking where Abel's finger had been but not finding anything since he didn't know where it was.

Sam looked at the table and holding the baby girl in one hand she pointed with another. "Right around there." She said simply giving him a few words that sat above and below each other in about three lines. "Sorry I can't be more specific." Samantha said apologetically.

Asu shook his head, "That's specific enough." he set his hands on the table where she'd pointed, searching for the exact thread of text she needed as he continued, "All I need really is a few words fron the specific text you want and the area it's located." it took him a couple minutes but finally he found it and created a copy, lifting it from the table, "Here we go." he announced, holding it out for her.

Samantha carefully took the copy and looked at it...with awe. "Wow...thats so cool!" She said before closing her mouth and looking at Ophelia. "Do you still have my hair. My goodness you have a strong grip for such a small thing."

Asu narrowed his eyes as he moved to take the crying Ophelia from her, "No, it's not cool, it's evil but evil as it is it's one sheet of paper.. Not even a whole one! I don't see why you couldn't have taken it with one hand instead of making the poor child cling to you like that." he said, his voice barely calm as he tried to hide that this had severely angered him, "Especially when she's so young and her pawpaw's standing right here. I could've easily taken her." he said, holding the girl against him and bouncing slightly as he rocked her, calming her back down. He'd lost total concentration on the piece of paper containing a short sentence about the powers of the Souls' skin so it puffed out to smoke as he kept shooting Sam dirty looks. He hadn't been in the best of moods to start with but now Sam making Ophelia cry like she had, had pissed him off more than it should've so he left after saying, "Talk to Abel when he comes back. I need to go before I lose what little patience I have left today." the anger leaking into his voice more.

"Hey! For once the crying isn't my falt. I had my arm under her so she couldn't fall, for one. For two I thought it was interesting that you could pull me up a hard copy! And finally maybe you should be careful your mood won't help her calm down any! If that's one thing I've learned about annoying earth bound beings its how your moods affect one another. Its like a plague! First one person is a complete jerk because his day is bad and then everyone is." She hissed lightly before regaining her composure. "Oh I hope I finish here soon." She said walking out of the room and slamming a door behind her. She didn't care if Asu was human or not he acted just like one annoying, only cared about a small amount of people, and extremely moody. Her eyes narrowed as she looked over the paper. Reading was difficult in her current mood. Setting the paper on a table she sat down her wings spread out around her. "Humans, anything of Earth get under my skin." She muttered looking down at her arms.
