Miru walked throught the woods with a sour looks WHAT DOES SHE THINKS SHE"S DOING she thought, her mother the Neko Clan leader of the area, had arranged for Miru's marrage with a Nekok guy who was not Miru's likein. Miru crossed her amrs just because she's ... she saw a mouse scurry across the path and Miru'neko half took over, she crouched the mouse scurried into the bush and Miru took off after it. after a while she pounced out of the bush, the mouse hanging out of her mouth, in frount of other people well this is embarressing

((OOC: Um, where is the guy who RPed the coffin in the first place? I'm going to wait another half a week or so for him to go through with his plans for the coffin, and if he doesn't show i'm just going to RP onward... o.O))
Just as the Golem lifted the edge of the coffin's lid, a sound from behind him caused Donny to spin around, bring the crossbow up to his shoulder, aiming it at what appeared to be a lithe cat-like person standing behind him, mouse hanging from her mouth. "Who and what are you? And what are you doing here?" Donny felt somewhat foolish at having been surprised. He usually was aware of the presence of every creature within a quarter mile. It's not like I haven't invested in enough magical equipment to be prepared for things like this. My Alertness Ring must need some maintainance, he thought to himself. |
Lore sighed and turned to reapproach the group, waving a hand at the somewhat mercenary to stand down. "I recognise the type, if not the individual. She's a Neko, and unlike you she is being nonthreatening, well to everyone but the mouse." Crouching before the newcomer Lore tilted her head to the side "And besides that I agree, Who are you, and what brings you here at nightfall? This is not exactly friendly countryside, and many strange things roam tonight."

Miru slowly straightened and dropped the mouse as, she blushed "I'm Miru Claw, Clan leader's Daughter"she bowed

"A pleasure." Donny mutters, before lifting a set of slit-goggles from around his neck, scanning the individual for magical signals she might set off.

Lore nodded and stood "I'm Lore, This is Ouna and Nava. I don't know who he is." She gestured to the name's respective owners, then jerked her head at the merc with his goggles. |

"My name is Adonis, though usually I stick with Donny." Donny says before removing the goggles, and returning his attention to the coffin. "So. Are we going to open this thing or what? Golem, open the coffin."

Nava looked at the strange girl. Being the well-educated demon princess that she was, she could tell just by the scent of the girl that she was a Neko, not to mention that the ears were a dead giveaway. Nava heard Donny tell his Golem to open the coffin again, so she walked a little closer to get a better view. |

He can manipulate air, and the only way he can successfully kill someone is to either drain them dry, or strangle them. His body physically won't let him kill any other way. ------- Xilent and his mother had split up years ago; so why, as he wandered now, was his mind on her? She was dead now and he knew it. When he left her side, the same vampires that turned him killed her, to show him that he needed the house, so get him to come into the family. But he refused. They were sick creatures, and he hated what he was, to be associated with them. He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets. It was raining, but he had an umbrella above his head; the hook of the handle gently wedged under his arm. The pressure Xilent had against it kept it upright as his hands were in his pocket. His ears twitched and danced with the sounds of the rain hitting every little object. It was a bit of a sensory overload, and he couldn't focus on anything else very well. He stumbled a little while he walked, his steps distracted with the noise. As he continued walking in an obscure direction, he was certain he started hearing voices. Sure it was just his mind, Xilent pushed it aside. But subconsciously, his body was leading him directly towards a group of people, where the voices were indeed coming from. When he came to realize the words were more defined and getting louder, he shaded himself from any energy readers; a block over his life energy, over his person. Closing in, about 100 feet away, Xilent moved more quietly. It was an easy task since he could manipulate the air around him. All he did was create a vacuum-like wind around him, and suddenly, no air ever brushed past him, except when he inhaled. It was defying the theory that objects fall at the same rate, without air resistance; he got rid of the resistances around himself. Closer and closer he got, their who conversation unfolding in his ears. Xilent stayed around 50 feet away and just watched, squinting his one electric blue eye and listening. Unless someone saw the figure in all black [and dark purple] he'd stay unnoticed. |
Donny's Golem was moving too slowly. The anticipation of what they would find was getting heavier in the air around them. The energy in Nava was building so high, that she knew she'd hurt someone when the coffin was actually opened, even if there was nothing in it.
"I'll be right back," she told Donny. His golem was moving so slow that after she got rid of her pent up energy, she would be back in time to still see what was in that coffin. Turning around, she quietly stepped her way out of the group. She was so focused on how she would release the energy she was holding without hurting anyone around her, that she didn't even see the strange man. "Ouch," Nava exclaimed as she came into contact with something solid, head first since she had been looking at the ground trying to walk without tripping. Rubbing her head, she looked up to see a man with an umbrella. "Who are you?" her curiosity over ruled her common sense, again. |
Quickly, he started to realize that something was coming towards him, a louder voice, albeit her internal voice. He stared at her fervently, seeing if she'd avert her path. But with her head down, Xilent watched as she ran into what was probably a tree, and then notice himself. He'd been seen.
In a split second, he pulled his hands out of his pocket and let the umbrella fall from his underarm. Swiftly, his hand caught it as the first raindrops started to fall all over his body. Xilent crouched down and turned the umbrella upside down in his hand. He jumped into the air, and, manipulating the air once again, allowed a rush of wind to push upwards on the umbrella, which he'd easily hopping into. The gust of air pushing him inside the umbrella, up, into the first thick branch of a tree near him. Xilent perched with both feet and one hand on the branch, huddled over, his bright blue eye staring at her. His other hand still holding the umbrella, he leaned it against his shoulder, over his head, and just above the other branch above him. |
