"i don't know" he said with a sad sigh. "the prince has been very kind to me so i hope he get's his happy ending. and you miss seem like the right type of girl that would make him the happiest." he then bowed. "please take care of the prince" he said before leaving his mission completed.

Ashar was still tied up in his room ans was still weak. he hoped with everything that she would forgive him for sending a messenger instead of going himself. he just couldn't. the only thing that kept him from falling into depression at the time was the image of her smiling face.

Nashita sighed as she sunk against the ground, her back resting against the small wall. Staring at the small bird, Nashita let a few tears escape as she held on to the hope that Ashar would still come to her.

After a few moments, Nashita stood and straightened her skirt before finding her way back to her home in the catacomb of city streets.

(i'm going to time jump a few day's for when the east princess arrives)

the city streets were packed as the princess arrived on the back of a large white mare. she had thick black hair and a face that told she was in charge. she was mush like Ashar's father. that was why he liked her. Ashar was still tied in his room. he had been stuck like that for day's the bruises on his face finally faded. he was cut free but the guards were still breathing down his neck. he kept his part of the love birds in his pocket at all times. it seemed like his only link to his love.

Nashita stood with her parents, watching in the city streets as the princess arrived. Her cheek were a brilliant shade of red with anger as the princess held her nose high on the way to the Palace. Nashita slipped a hand in her pocket, wrapping her hand around the love bird and letting the knowledge that Ashar loved her be enough to get her through the day.

Ashar looked out at the balcony as night fell. the guards were ordered to watch the yard below just in case he should try to get out again. he felt as caged as ever. His hear longed to be by Nashita's side. to be back in that night where they were alone watching the dunes and dreaming of freedom. the only thing that pulled him from his dreams was the slender snake in his bed.

"Oh prince Ashar, please come to bed with me dearest" she said running her fingers on the soft fabric. "After all its our first night together don't you think we should be together" she said softly puffed out her chest trying to make her breasts look bigger. Ashar had had enough of the calls.

he smiled back at her. he camed close to her catching her hair in one hand he brought it to his lips. "seeing as we are husband and wife it would be right. However...." he griped the lock and pulled it cruelly. he had learned a thing or to from watching his father treat his sisters. "you are not my love and never will be. you are a chain my father has tight onto me and one day i'll break you and be free. you are never to act like that again to me. " he said his voice ice cold. Normally he wouldn't dare be that cruel to a female, however he missed Nashita and this woman was in the way.

Nashita laid in her bed, unable to sleep. The tears ran over her face in a flood, spilling onto the pillow. "Ashar." She whispered quietly, wishing that somehow he would hear her and knowing it was impossible. Nashita climbed from her bed, changing into a simple dress and large shawl as she had done for the past few nights.

Slipping through the crowded streets, Nashita rested her back against the southern wall of the Palace. "Ashar." She whispered again as she watched the Palace, her lovebird in hand.

Ashar's head snapped up like a puppy who though his master had called his name. there was a loud "thawp" as the princess's hand collided with his cheek. she was frightened of him but was strong enough not to be intimidated. "Not your love huh? we'll see about that. do you really think your street rat girl even likes you. she is just out to marry a prince like all the other scum" she yelled stomping out of his room.

Ashar didn't even notice as she left. he swore to god he heard Nashita calling him. he ran to the balcony and looked out. he could see a figure by the south wall but he wasn't sure who it was. he reached into his pocket and touched the love bird. He wanted to be free more then anything. a warm liquid ran down his cheek from where the princess's nails had cut in.

Nashita sobbed quietly as the tears streamed down her cheeks. Glancing up at the balcony, Nashita saw a figure standing there. "Ashar?" She called up hopeful despite her knowing that she would never see him again. Nashita stood as she stared up into the darkened balcony. "Please." She whispered to herself. "Please be my Ash. Please." She begged no one.

Ashar looked out the figuare was defently female. Nashita! he couldn't stand it if it was her and he couldn't be close. he backed up and ran at the edge og the balcany. he lept up and pushed of the guard. It was a stupid idea but he wanted to see her. he turned out to be a lucky son of a gun when his upper body landed hard on the south wall. he could see her now. it was Nashita.

"Nash...ita" he groaned as pain exploded in his chest. however it was now or never. he struggled to pull himself up and to drop over the other side the a thud. is chest hurt but the fall if he had missed would have hurt a lot more. "Nashita" he said reaching up for her. he hoped she wouldn't scold him like he would have her if he had seen her try such a jump

"Ash?" Nashita whispered before laughing. "What on earth were you thinking?" Nashita asked as she bent beside him. Bringing Ashar's palm to her face, Nashita managed a smile despite the knowledge that Ash had nearly killed himself and he was married to a princess. "You're insane." She whispered, kissing his palm lightly. "You just jumped from a balcony." She laughed quietly.

"what can i say," he laughed painfully. Ashar's chest hurt but he felt happy. he had missed Nashita's soft skin. "I would do it a thousand times over just to see you." he pulled her to him and kissed her forehead. he had missed her so much. he knew his father was going to beat him should he ever return. even if he didn't the guards would be looking for him

Ashar reached into his pocket and pulled out the bird. "did you bring your's you've never seen them clicked together i think you should" he said the image of the birds together was relaxing.

"Yes." Nashita laughed as she pulled out the small lovebird. Looking into Ash's face, Nashita lost herself in his eyes, wishing she would never have to go that long without him again. "I missed you." She said softly as the lovebird sat in her hand.

"i missed you too" Ashar said leaning into her to kiss her softly. oh how he had missed being close to her. she was his drug. at first it just was good to be near her now it was a necessity. he rested his free hand on the back of her neck feeling her soft black hair. " i missed you so much" he said breaking the kiss and looking up at her.

Nashita smiled at the feel of his lips, something she'd missed more then she realized. "Ash." She whispered softly, forgetting the bird in her hand as she wrapped her free hand around his neck and pulled him towards her for a gentle kiss. Laying next to him, Nashita wrapped her fingers in his hair as she kissed him, never wanting to let go of this moment.

Ashar kissed her again. the bird slipping from his hand as he pulled her close he wanted her to be with him no matter how short their happiness was. when she was pressed to him he winced and pushed her away. lightly. his skin was turning blue and black were he had hit the wall. "ow" he groaned touching the bruise. "i guess that jump wasn't to smart." he graned trying to get to his feet.

"Sorry." Nashita smiled shyly, not really sorry about the kiss. "Its just been a while. I missed you." She laughed nervously. "You shouldn't have jumped like that. You could've killed yourself." Nashita chided as she let her fingers untangle from his hair and helped him up, supporting most of his weight.

"i guess it would have been worth it." he looked back at the palace. "there is no way i can return now. i need to hide or flee. my father will try hunting me town and give orders to kill anyone i'm with." he looked at her with the most loving of eyes "do you mind running with me? I don't know if i can live with out you" he asked holding tight to her. if she didn't want to run away with him then he would let her stay and disappear on his own but if she said yes he would do his best to keep her safe.

"How can I refuse that after you just jumped off a balconey for me." Nashita laughed quietly as she cupped his chin and pressed a light kiss on his lips. "Where are we going to run to?" She asked.

"it would be best to head east. one of my sisters married a Aristocrat in the same kingdom the princess id from. we can hide with her and father wouldn't expect me to head into an area he has power in" he said. "but first things first. we'll need water, food, and a way to get there." he knew where he could steal some horses, horses would e faster but they would need more water. Camels wouldn't need as much water but they could easily be over taken by bandits.

"I can get some supplies but I don't have a way of getting us anywhere." Nashita sighed. "I have to go home anyways." She said as she gave Ash's hand a gentle squeeze. "Can you get us horses and meet me somewhere?" She asked, tilting her head to the side in thought.

"yes" he pulled her close and kissed her forehead. "we'll met at the building okay?" he reluctantly letting go of her hand. "i love you thank you for not leaving me"he was so happy that the pain from the wall bruise didn't hurt so much as he ran off the be a thief.

Nashita smiled as Ash disappeared into the night before turning back into the slum streets and returning to her home.

Nashita pulled a bag from her closet and tucked a few of her clothes inside as well as the dagger Ash had given her. Stroking the necklace Ash had given her, Nashita looked about her room for anything else she may need to bring. Deciding there was nothing, Nashita moved to the kitchen and wrapped up food that would last for at least a week as well as a few containers of water.

Taking a small bag of coins from her room, Nashita took one last glance into her parent's rooms. A tear falling down her cheek, Nashita took a deep breath and murmured a quick goodbye before turning out of her home and running to find her true love.

Ashar was quiet as he untethered the horses. he had an eye for strong and fast ones and chose only the two best. he chose two black ones a mare and stalian. they were fine horses he almost felt bad for stealing them. he smiled and left a note saying 'taken a black mare and stud, then king will pay you for your troubles' then signed it. he mounted the stalian and lead the mare to the abandoned building.

he remained mounted as he waited. he had also take some saddle bags to keep food and water in. the tip would take a few days but once they were with his sister they could resupply and leave again. they more then likely wouldn't be able to settle down and be a real cuple but that didn't matter to him. so long as he could keep her happy and by his side.

Nashita reached the building quietly, seeing the two horses. "Hi." She whispered excitedly, thrilled with the idea of leaving the city. Getting onto the mare as she'd seen the royals do before. Smiling as she sat into the saddle, glad that she hadn't made a fool of herself in front of Ash. "Ready?" She asked as she steadied the bag over her shoulder.

"have you ridden before?" he asked with a smile. she looked award on the horse. "if it helps i can tie her to my horse" he said happily. he thought it was interesting to watch her. he climbed down and pulled the bag off her back. "here this will feel better. he said strapping the bag to the horse.
