Whitch no, but there was something that made him this way so he nodded and looked at her, locking eyes. Luke was one things that was prown for bad things, but he was one of the very few that help more than hindered. He wanted to tell her but time would show itsself soon enough.
The tribe was now searching the sides of the town. They were closing in more and more as time passed. Soon they would find him, and finish the deed, no matter who was in his was, or who he was with. He would be gone, and the rain of the two tribes would merge together. |
"so a witch. okay what ever you did i'm sure you didn't disirve a curse." she took her food off the grill and sat down. "maybe we can lift it some how" she said thinking aloud. in all honesty she didn't want him to be a human. humans were crule cold things and he seemed kind enough to her.
an Omoness feeling over came her and she shivered. she wan't particulary sensitive, but there was something in the air. She felt like pray that was sitting in waiting to be eaten. |
Luke stood up after his meat was gone, and walked beside where she was sitting. He could tell something was going to happen. His ears twitched, and he looked toward the big picture window right in front of the table. There was only one thing to do. "Look out and get down.." Luke finally spoke as he hit the chair to get her to the ground.
Once she was down a white wolf jumped thought the window shattering glass all over. Luke changed form just a bit to where he was ready to fight and was standing face to face with the white wolf. "You trator.." the white wolf said right before lunging at Luke. Luke fought to get the wolf out and succeeded. Luke went to pure wolf form and slowly walked toward his savior. "I am sorry..." He said softly |
Angel was stunner for a moment. it all seemed to happen so fast a wolf flying through the window, being knocked on the floor. to top it all off wolf spoke to her. she grabed onto the fur on the back of his neck when he came close. she shook him like one would a puppy she was training.
"you could talk and you didn't tell me! I saw that change eather your a werewolf or you have been working to break that cures forever!" she shook him again. "what is with the white wolf? he called you a traiter, what did you do kill their king?" the more she talked the angier she got at him. "whatever, just what ever. lets get some where safe and then talk." |
"just stop shaking me and get on.." he said and shook his head to refocus. He knew of a place that many didn't know of, and he took her there.
Once inside a cave, he turned into his human form and was fully clothed. "Yes i am a werewolf, no i didn't kill their king..they were trying to kill me, and i didn't want to scare you by talkjing.." he said all in one smooth quick summery. "And my names luke, or as you were wolf.." he added with a chuckle. |
"Angel" she said looking away from him. So he thought she you'd be scared of a talking dog. sure, it was weird but not frightening at all. she was bothered that maybe the wolves would go back to her home when her parents were there and kill them. she looked back at him.
"are my parents in danger? i can understand wolves coming after me since i tried to take care of you but my parents didn't do anything." she said with a stern look. she wan't going to be intimidated by dogs. "and why are they out to kill you luke? you're one of them." |
"No, your parents are fine.. they will follow my sent, so more than likely they will show up here before toughing them." he said. He sat down alongside the a wall, and looked over at her. "I am soo sorry I got you into this.." he added "And to answer your other question, I am the elders son, and the only one that is rebelling the merge of the two rival tribes. My father was one that rebeled and they killed him, and i ran..now they are after me.. " he explained with a big sigh.
"if there is anything I can do to make up for all this, please tell me.." he added again before getting up and walking over toward the entrance of the cave. |
"it doesn't matter" she said looking back at him. "this is way more fun then working my butt off and getting no where in life." she then thought of something that caused her a light blush. 'i let him sleep in my bed' she thought and covered her mouth embarrassed.
"so why are you so against them joining? isn't a good thing if the tribes aren't fighting?" Angel asked trying to take her mind off what she let happen. "i mean if they merge they can't fight and there's some peace in the world." |
"Peace yes, but the two tribes have never seen eye to eye, and there was a change in our world and some thought the same as what you just said, but there were 5 of us that didn't agree with it, so they started pecking them off one by one, and I am the last." He said as he looked at her. "I was wounded so badly because of them, I couldn't get out of wolf form, but thanks to you I am here now.." he said and walked back toward her.
"And back at your house sorry about not talking before i did, sorry about your window, and thanks for caring for me, feeding me, and sharing part of the bed... you gave me more than anyone has in my life." He said as he sat back down. |
Angel blushed again and looked shyly away. "well you were hurt and i just can't leave a wounded animal. if you were a person then i might have just left you to die." she said trying to make her sound colder then she really was. it embarrassed her to have him thanking her. "besides you still need to rest to heal all the way. i can't have you all weak if your going to protect me."
she curled up and wondered what would hapen next. she didn't want to leave him to the mercy of those other wolves. they would kill him. |
"I am fine for now.." he said as he sat there, he soon got up and walked over to what looked like a wall, and opened a cobert. Pulling out a pillow, he tossed it toward her "here.." he said and walked over with a blanket as well, and covered her up. "you use them.."he added and turned to a wolf and curled up by her facing the door.

"thank you" she said as she laid down. she covered him with part of the blanket so he wouldn't get cold. she honestly doubted he would but she would feel bad if he did. she was a little shy of sleeping next to him knowing he could turn ino a person but those thoughts were forgotten as she drifted to sleep.

He wasn't planning on doing anything that he wasn't supposed to with this girl. He had respect for others, especially if they helped him out of the kindness of their hearts. He kept his ears toward the opening, just in case of anything might come into the cave. He slept soundly, nice and warm. Yet again thanks to her being kind.

Angel felt cold in her sleep. she shivered snd bega to snuggle closer to him, feeling his warmth. her dreams were filled with wolves all of the looking at her with hate. she was scared but her pride would never let her say so aloud. she couldn't leave him to die ether, there had to be a way to keep him safe and her as well as out of danger.

The morning came and he felt something up aginst him. He looked over and seen that she was huddled aginst him, and he just stayed there and looked out the cave. He had to get her to safety, along as himself as well.

she woke with a drowsy look on her face. she looked over at him and yawned sitting up. she stretched and shook her head to try to wake fully. "good morning" she said yawning again.

"if you wana call it good.." he said and sighed. "They are headed this way.." he said and looked toward her. He could smell them already and knew. He couldn't fight them, there were 3, and he didn't know where to run that was safe that they didn't know about.

"there coming?" she asked still half asleep. she got to her feet. "where too?" she asked petting his wolfish head. it often took her a while to wake up unless there was some one yelling at her.

"they yes.. the werewolves... coming here.." he said and stood up still in wolf form. "leave the pillow, grab the blanket, and get on.. we need to leave now!" he said as he could tell they would be there within a few minuets.

She nodded and folded the blanket and carried it in her arms. she went outside of the cave and looked around waiting for him to came too. a thought crossed her mind, if she wasn't half asleep she wouldn't have even considered it.
"if i became a wolf like you i could be more useful. is there a way to turn humans like in the books?" she asked looking back at him. |
He looked at her kinda conserned, there was a way bit it would be painful. He didnt want her to have to strugle throug it all. "There is one way.. but i am not sure if I want to put you through it.." he said waliking toward her.

"if i was a wolf i could help you and actually fight." she took his wolf muzzle in his and. "i don't want to be like my mother and useless. I want to help all the people i can." she said. she paused for a long moment and then yawned. she rubbed her eyes, mentally arguing with herself over turning.

"once you change there is no going back" He managed to say while she had his mouth. He thought of having her by his side most of the time, and he could get used to it.

"maybe i should think about it more then." she said. she didn't now what she really wanted to do. if there was no going back art all hen maybe she should think about it more. "where too my wolfie friend?"

"ok.. hop on my back, I can run faster.." he said standing beside her. Once she was on he started running, he wasn't sure where in was headed, but there had to be a safe place of his fathers somewhere around there.
Deeper into the forest he ran, and suddenly stopped right at a cliff. Looking down there was a beutiful lake, and a big waterfall. There had to be someplace behind the falls, he thought, and started heading down toward the water. "you swim?" He asked knowing the water would get rid of his scent to cover up their path. |
