Yukina blushed daeker and looked at him... almost surprised."really?",She asked almost to shocked to belive it.

He nodded, "Yeah. I mean, if we weren't in a life or death situation, it'd be better, it'd be easier to know if we could get along better together as a couple, rather than depending on each other for survival, but you seem like a great girl. I could totally see us together." he smiled, "Though, I've never really known any women who weren't in labcoats and trying to pump me full of drugs to turn me into... whatever it is."

Yukina smiled at him then blinked looking aroun."it just got really quite",she saidwith worry. "c-can I get don?"

"Yeah, of course." he told her, stopping and crouching a bit so she could get off easier. "Do you think something's up?" he asked in a whisper.

Yukina hoped off and looked around."maybe ... im not to sure"

His lowered his voice, "Just in case, do you think you can shapeshirt now?"

Yukina nodded."yeah i think so"

He nodded, "Let's keep moving though, we don't want to be sitting ducks." Kevin began to move in the direction he was going initially, this time keeping his footsteps light and muffled. He walked slowly, but enlongated his strides to cover more ground, and as he did so, he kept an ear out for any sounds that could be out of the ordinary.

Yukina smiled as she followed him trying to keep her walking quit as well.She looked around,not senceing anything.

"I don't hear anything. he whispered, "Maybe it was an animal?" he said, an inquisitive tone tainting the sentence slightly, like he was hoping.

Yukina blinked.thats true" she said and sighed,releaved.

Kevin nodded, "Well, I don't hear anything now, so it was probably an animal.. Maybe they found the leftover kill from this morning..." he mused. It was perfectly plausible. It wasn't far from where they were now that Kevin had run down and killed the deer, so naturally other animals would have found its scent and been flocking to it for whatever was left. Kevin sighed a breath of relief now as well, satisfied with the situation he had run through his head. "We have a problem, I'm not sure which way to go." he said looking around, "If there even is a town on the other side of the woods, we don't know which way it is.

He looked at her and nodded once, "That would work, but are you sure you're up for it?" In all honestly, Kevin never liked flying, even as a bird. He was much more happy with his feet on the ground.

Yukina smiled."yeah im up for it",she said and closed her eyes and turninh into a bird she flew up above the trees.

Kevin watched from the ground, a smile on his face. Yukina had learned so much about shapeshifting and was so good at it in the short time she had had to learn it. It was especially impressive to Kevin, seeing as she wasn't born doing it, she was altered for it.

Yukina soon came back down and turne back into a humna."theres a city to the east but its pritty far off at least a day , maybe two days,dependeing if we stop,to gert there"

Kevin smiled, "A day isn't that long, compared to how long I've been trapped there." he laughed a little, mostly out of the ecstasy of being so close to pure freedom. "Let's go!" he smiled, nearly skipping in the direction he believe to be east, as he was informed.

Yukina watced and laughed a little as she quickly followed.

He smiled at her when she followed, "Man, I wonder what it's like with real people... " he smiled, inhaling deeply. Then he remembered what Yukina had said about the two of them being together. "...Yukina? What's going to happen to the two of us when we reach the town...?" he asked her quietly, concern in his voice.

Yukina blinked and looked at him."w-well its up to you really",she said softly.If he wanted to go off on his own then she wouldnt stop him.

Kevin hadn't been expecting the question to be turned on him, even though he probably should have. He knew Yukina was shy, and being put on the spot like that wouldn't have gone over well. Not in the sense that she'd be mad at him or anything, just in the sense that had happened with the question being turned on him, would happen. He looked at her a moment, then to the ground and back up in front of them again, "Well, it would be nice if you hung around with me awhile. I'm not used to being free and on my own, so it would be nice to have someone to share that with."

Yukina looked at him."really",she said softly.

He looked back at her, unsure of how to take the question, "Uhm, yeah. If you want to..." In all honesty, Kevin just didn't want Yukina to leave him. He wanted to make sure she was alright, and he liked having her around... Plus, Kevin couldn't be sure, but he was beginning to think he had a crush on her.

Yukina smiled.Happy he wantd her to stay with him."aright then ... il stay",she said as tehy walked. She was happy he wasnt going to leave her alone and prentend they never met.She really did hink the worst things way to offten.As they walked she blinked and stoped looking back behind them.
