Shika felt himself wince.DamnHe thought.Sighing, as he thought for something else."Sorry about that I confused you with someone else. I recently came back from a tiring mission,and I got a little confused."He quickly said hoping that would make up for what he said before. "At anyrate, Kenta, I'm Shika."Shika stated smiling kindly. Sakura came back into the room,and said."Shika, Leader's here and he wants to talk with you."Shika nodded his head,and stood up."Okay."The man them looked back at Kenta."I'll be right back."He then left the room.

Kenta nodded. so he was a ninja. 'like me' he thought. wait, he wasn't a ninja as far as he could tell. however being a ninja would explain all the scars, and how his hands looked like the knuckles have been broken repeatedly. the man who would decide Kenta's fate was meting with Shika, it worried him.

"Looks he doesn't remember who he is. Now if you play your cards right we can use him against his team."Leader said chuckling.Shika nodded his head,and let his leader continue." Now since you're the first person he met, he's going to stay with you."Shika frowned."What!?Why me?"The leader gave him a grave look."Because you have yet to redeem yourself, should I bring up what happened three years ago?"The man froze,and looked at his feet."No..."The leader smiled,and said."So when he is able to leave the hospital he'll live with you for a while."Shika waited for his leader to leave,before heading back into the room.

"hey was i a ninja?" he asked pointing to the scars on his body. " i must have been a fighter to have broken my knuckles so many times and with all the scars" he was thinking logical since he had nothing else to tell his life other then his body. sadly no tattoos to tell him more only scars. he hoped Shika would be able to tell him, even if they didn't know eachother.

Shika shrugged."You seemed pretty beat up when I found you. But you might be."He said.'At any rate my leader said that you can stay with me once you leave the hospital."Shika said as he sat back in the chair."I hope you don't mind that."Shika then added with a nervous look on his face.

"no i don't mind." he said pushing his empty food tray away "when can i leave? other then the memory I've never felt better." it was only half a lie. he was sleepy. but he didn't want to fall back asleep and not wake up for a few days like before. "do you have any pets? or does anyone else live with you?" he asked. he didn't want to tread on any girls toes by living with him. so girls hate it when heir lover asks a friend to stay.

Shika shook his head."Nope no pets,and I live by myself."He then stood up,and said."I'll see if you're ready to be taken out. I know that you feel ready, but hospitals don't like to discharge anyone that isn't in top condition." Bowing politely, Shika left the room,and walked up to the front desk,and asked."Can the new arrival leave yet? I mean I know he has amnesia,but I don't think keeping him here will help much." Shika said. The lady looked at him and sighed."Okay fine." She didn't seem happy,but she also sounded like she didn't care.

"Okay."Shika said placing his hands on the counter.The lady then took out a clipboard,and gave him a pen."Just sign this exit form,and you can take him."She said sighing again. Shika took the pen,and signed the paper. After a minute he handed it back to her,and went back to Kenta's room.

kenta had removed the IV from his arm on his own he knew it was discouraged but it make his sin itch were it had been. he kept the heart censers on so as not to have a large group of nurses come and get him. he wondered if they had clothes for him or was he going to have to leave naked. he hoped they did, modesty keeping him from wanting people to see his body.

when Shika came back he smiled. "can i go or am i stuck here?" he asked trusting his new friend. since he was the fist person to really talk to him he thought of shika as a friend.

"You can go."Shika said.He then walked over to a far by chair,and lifted the clothing from it."Here.You were found with these on."Shika then walked back over to Kenta,and handed him the clothing."I'll wait outside while you get dressed."He said as he left the room.

he nodded and dressed. they clothes looked like that were worn out. and the style also implied ninja. he sighed, wondering what he and the clothes have seen. he left the room and fallowed Shika. he whissled to himself glad that he at least could remember how to to that. as he whistled a tune one note struck him and he stopped. it was a pure sound but it seemed familiarly. like he used that note for something.

Shika saw him,and looked at him."You okay?"He asked also hearing the note. He knew where it came from,but Ari wasn't going to come to him. Shika then shrugged and continued walking, he wanted to stub his memory as little as possible, just in case something might come back to the surface,and ruin his whole plan.

"yeah" Kenta said fallowing shika. he noticed a small cat hiding in the bushes he picked it up and started petting it as he walked. it was skinny and plainly hadn't eaten in a long time. "i like animals. i think i had a pet" he said as the kitty purred in pleasure. "do we have any food to feed it?" he asked happily smiling.

Shiak looked at Kenta,and the cat,and thought for a moment."My neighbor does"He stated.Shika had a neighbor who had pets,and he might be able to borrow food from her if he couldn't feed the cat anything from his own home.

"that's good. he's a hungry little guy." he said peting him more. "but cat's don't make good companions. they love their freedom to much. unlike dogs, or hawks. maybe you should get a companion. they help on lots of missions" he couldn't help but want one of his own as well. He wanted a hawk, after all hawk's could be used for delivering messages.

"You seem to like animals."Shika stated stroking the cat's head."But I'm more of a cat person. Dogs are too messy,and Hawks, well I never really like birds." There was a bit of a mock tone in his voice."At any rate here's my house." Shika said as they reached the front door.He unlocked the door,and pushed it open."You can make yourself at home.There's a guest bedroom,and bathroom upstairs."He said placing his bag down.

Kenta explored the house entertained by the newness of it all. he wondered of shika cold cook because kenta couldn't remember if he could. he decided that along as he stayed he'd help keep the place clean. "would you mind if i got a hawk and trained it?" he asked looking at shika after exploring.

A chill ran down his spine,he then sighed,and said." I plan on keeping the cat,so I don't know if they'll get along, but if you plan on getting a baby then I don't see why not."Shika then looked at the cat,and walked over to the kitchen. He pour it a bowl of water,and placed little bits of chopped meat on it. The cat rushed over to the plate and bowl, it sniffed both the water,and the meat before it started to eat.

"okay i'll get a little hatching. It's good to train they young anyway so they are use to humans." Kenta said happy that the cat was eating. "i really like animals they are just so soft and a mazing." he said watching the kitty eat.

Shika nodded his head."Tomorrow I can bring you around town.For now, check out your room.I hope you like it."He stated walking over to a door,and opening it. Inside was a staircase that lead up to the second part of the house."Up the stairs there's a small house.It doesn't have a kitchen,but you can come eat with me if you want to."Shika added smiling.

kenta nodded and went up the steps. it was like a small apartment with a bathroom bedroom and a living room. he didn't think he'd need the iving room for there was no real point to it for him if there was no one to be with. he went back down the steps. "thank you for letting me stay i'll try not to make to big a mess."

"Your welcome.If you need to borrow anything, you can just ask me."Shika said smiling."Now, are you hungry?I can make us something."He suggested opening the fridge and looking inside. 'Kenta's not that bad of a kid.'The man thought to himself, as he scanned the shelves.'But then again, he did lose his memory...'He added still feeling a little resentment towards Kenta.

"yeah" he said excitedly peaking over Shika's shoulder to see what food he had. Kenta wondered if he was alway's hungry like he felt now. it wasn't painfully hungry like at the hospital but hungry enough he wanted to eat. "do we have strawberries i like them. they are sweet and tangy at the same time.'

Shika looked at him and laughed to himself."I think I have a small batch left...."He then started to move things around. After a minute of looking, he found a bowl with ten strawberries."Here."He said pulling the bowl out ,and handing it to Kenta. "Enjoy."Shika quickly added closing the fridge door.

he smiled and ran off with his spoils. he watched shika as he popped then in his mouth one after another. "what were your orders that involved me?" he asked. he figured that he was ordered to let him stay there. After all what good is a memoryless ninja. he wanted to remember soon so he and shika could team up.

"He wanted to keep you safe,and since you saw me first it would make sense to stay with someone who you at least recognize."Shika stated again lying through his teeth."To keep an eye on you basicly."He then added turning a chair around,and sitting in it. "So make yourself at home."He said smiling. The cat then jumped onto Shika's back,and made itself comfortable on his shoulders. "Aw..."The ninja said reaching behind him,and picking the small thing up. "What should we name him?"He asked cradling it in his arms.
