Unable to answer the question Kai's attention was pushed toward nick, watching his abilities in amazement. Her ears twitched and she yawned, pulling the blanket previously seen from her corset she laid down during this moment of peace. When she did her eyes drifted shut and she was out like a light.

"Your decendants live, but not in a form that you would recognise them. Since then technology has progressed in leaps and bounds, those these two could most likely tell you more then I. If you are willing, I can try a simple magic spell that will teach you our language and allow you to ask them directly." Shin turned to Kai and raised an eyebrow "Hopefully I can let him answer that himself. But we shall see."

Con looked at them in a half glare. He didn't really like Nick, and he didn't really know the cat girl all that well. "I don't know"

Shin shrugged "It's your decision, the recipient has to be willing. It woulld make things easier on everyone though. But you never did answer my question, how do you and Seosamh know each other?"

she stirred a bit barely opening one eye "huh..? okay" she rolled over, curled into a tighter ball and fell back to sleep.

"He's my brother. And I'll only accept your language if you stop taking my weapons." He cradled the little boy in his lap, Seosamh was now asleep.

Nick wasn't even paying attention to them as his mind drifted in a half state and he tried to pull in the vines of power that jumped from him. some touching the arth and tohers plants. heck some even touching animals bu tonly lightly .. light enough he'd understand them. grumbling in his head he reached out mentally to try and pull a vine of power back in but it was stubborn.. his magic had had years to grow this wild before he'd even been made aware of it. and a few months ago that he'd learned how to 'see' and interact with it.

"Stop trying to stab me and we have a deal." Nodded Shin before reaching out to touch a finger to Con's head, essentially forcing her knowledge into his mind. Not a pleasant experience, but a nessacary one. It took only a moment and she pulled back her finger with a sigh "I'll do the same to Seo once he awakes." she gave a jaw cracking yawn and stepped into a nearby tree to rest for the night, let them argue with eachother without her for now.

Concobhar rubbed his head after she was done, thinking next to the times he was tossed through time that was one of his worst experiences ever. "Unusual" he muttered in English without realizing it.

Nick absently responded. "She basically taught you English from her point of it, meaning from child hood up.." he gave up and opened his eyes blinking to clear the sight of magic from it. he couldn't get ANY of the vines to go back inside. maybe the mage WAS wrong and it was just supposed to be all over the place like that for him.

Kai was jerked from sleep when she felt something crawling up her arm, when she opened her eyes she noticed it was a hairy, ugly looking oversized wolfe spider. She shrieked, flung it off of her and onto a tree, stood up and ran behind an opposite tree, freezing the bug in place "EW!! EW EW EW!! SOMEONE KILL IT!!"

Concobhar walked over and placed a heavy foot on the spider, crushing it. "Just a bug. -.-"

"eeewwww.. you spoke our tongue..!!" unable to fathom this she walked up to him, cautiously looking him in the eyes and smiled "see.. people of this time arent so bad"

He shoved her away. "Ewwww" he repeated and walked away, leaving the smashed spider on the ground.

"you know" she sighed "you think i'd get used to that" she shrugged "not so much" ignoring the comment she curled back up under another tree and fell back to sleep, with her blankie at hand.

Nick moved over to her side and rubbed her shoulder. "He just don't know how to be polite is all.." he mutterd. and leaned against hte tree near her.

When she rolled over to look up at him her hair moved to reveal she'd taken off her choker for comfort. No one had seen these before, they were a cluster of what looked to be painful scars from a straight-edged object. She shrugged and smiled up at him "i dont know, i dont think he is comfortable with being around someone who isnt quite human" she joked

Con looked over. " I said eww because you said eww at me." He didn't really realise that she was a were-cat, or that he had misunderstood what she had ewed at. Really, he didn't care.

"i wouldnt never say ew to someone who i can commune with equally" she smiled "i dont like bugs though" she shivered "2 legs are fine, but the others creep me out!!!"

Nick swallowed a laugh. "Their probably more scared of you then you are of them.."

Concobhar shook his head. "Afraid of bugs.." the only person who he knew that was ever afraid of them was his little brother. Seosamh was just waking up too.

'i dont know, i have two legs and they have so many" she shivered again "if they had just two i'd be okay but eeeewww too many legs" she looked out at the squished spider thankful it didnt bite her.

Nick spoke up from his position in the roots of a tree. "Spiders do have far to many legs.. im.. more scared of dogs then spiders.." he mutterd. admitting something he wouldn't explain to anyone. he used to love dogs.. but not after his.. he shoved the thought away. "Anyways.. are we moving or camping.. cause if we're camping I'm goign to sleep.'

"Tree lady went to sleep" Con muttered from a bed of leaves he had made against a tree, he shivered a little. He had taken his cloak off to cover his once again sleeping brother.

"then sleep" she smiled and handed him her blankie, it was an enchanted cloth that would change size for someone to use as a regular blanket if need be "you can use it if you want" she offered... why dont you like dogs.. you know what i'm not going to pry, when you're comfortable you'll tell me or someone. I know how it feels for people to pry"

Smiling softly Kai peeked out from behind the tree "the blanket will get bigger with these words 'grow i'm cold'" when she spoke both blankets easily tripled in size, capable of holding two people with enough room for rolling around room.
