Hogarth opened his eyes, seeing Kai, Amuzed almost how she seemed to stay quite while her friends Shin, and Nick seemed to be trying to get him to talk. "Girl..What is your name?" Hogarth asked, intrigued by her for some reason.

she looked over at him, cat ears twitching ever so slightly and tail swaying with grace "Kai Blackburgh" she answered with obedience "what's yours?"

Nick moved up next to Kai protectively having taken a wellbrotherly liking to her. she was like him in some way s and not and it was nice. he let Kai do the talking though he was just suddnely tired. tired of fighting and running and argueing and of stuff never going right.

she smiled and moved next to him in a protective way as well, using her body as a shield. Nick was the family she never had, so of course she was going to protect him. When Hogarth didnt respond she laid back down on the ground watching the clouds float by without a care in the world, this amused her.

Hogarth looked at Kai. "my name is Hogarth." he side feeling the vines loosen, as they since no hostility from Hogarth, he walked to Kai, he features almost resembling his sister, tears slowly started to form in his eyes. He was unaware he was crying as his what was spouse to be a glance turned into a stare.

((did he just.. claim Kai as a sister?))

kai was suddenly uncomfortable, she looked over at him while he hovered over her, eyes wide and expression strange she spoke with a weary voice "are y-you okay?"

Hogarth broke his stair, looking around at everyone "Yeah." He said with a stammer still unknowing he was crying, since he'd never cryed before. "So what are you'll doing in the forest?" he said calmly, collecting his sword, and slidding it into it's case.
((Reminds him of his sister just minus the ears and tail.))

"hanging out" she mumbled feeling a knot form in the pit of her stomach

Nick watched the other male wairly. wondering dimly exactly WHAT was going on then just let it go.

Hogarth was usually hostile towards anyone, his sister would calm his nerves though, even though he had killed her not a day goes by he doesn't miss and wish he had never done what he did. He laid next to Kai, looking up at the sky.

confused she looked over at him then over at nick, she didnt understand what was going on nor did she really want to.. she knew it would probably cause her a headache.

((Hogarth joined your group, but hes hostile to anyone that comes near, but Kai is basically the one to keep him tamed, so long as shes near by he is a smart ass but will not draw a weapon to anyone))
Hogarth looked over at Kai, then back at the sky, pointing to a cloud. "That one looks like a wolf head." he said gently, closing his eyes. Calmed by the feeling of his sister close by.

she nodded "i think so.. what do you think nick?" she giggled then pointed another one out "i see a bunny"

Shin blinked, then with a sigh walked into a tree, coming back out again a short time later with another bowl of food. "Since our little group keeps growing, I guess I need to keep providing. Here Hogarth, share in the plenty, the forest has bounty enough for all who dwell here." Shin offered him the food carefully, ready to leap backwards should he attack, but he seemed much calmer now for a reason she could not begin to fathom.

Hogarth Took the bowl, his face with no expression he looked at the bowl then over to Kai, smiling gently as he offered her the bowl before excepting any for himself. "Eat sister, need to keep up your strength." Hogarth said, holding the bowl hovering over her chest.

thinking he was slightly strange she smiled and accepted some food, her ears twitched lightly before her tail flicked, she looked over at nick and handed him a hand full of fruit as well.

During this time Hogarth had tucked his hands under his head, his eyes closing as though he was asleep, but waited for the slightest faint yelp or cry for help from anyone near by, the small fight with the elements had drained him, and all he wanted to do is rest a little.

kai rolled onto her side falling asleep very quickly, being an active sleeper caused her to toss and turn many of times before laying still.

Nick went off on his own and stared up at the sky, leaning against a tree. he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do for the day. but he'd figure it out eventually.

Shin groaned to herself. It was like herding cats. Lonely, violent, maladjusted, time traveling cats. Why did the elders think she could handle this? She was barely more then a child! "By the roots..." she groaned "Why me? I will never wish for anything again. Never ever." With another sigh she stepped into a tree and reappeared on it's branches above. Stretching out along the branch she gazed down at the multitude below her. They didn't want to talk to her, didn't want to deal with her, didn't like her, didn't respect her, but unless they worked with her, she would be stuck with them! Why couldn't they understand that she wanted this no more then they, but it was her duty to learn who they were, their intentions towards the forest, where they were from, and half a dozen other things before they could be classified as a non threat and left alone? With the exception of Nick of course. Shin sighed again and rested her cheek against the warm bark of the tree. Why couldn't humans be simple?

Nick chuckled, then giggled. he couldn't help it.

he sang in a soft amused tone, his voice holding darker over tones as he did so. silver eye's where unfocused as he contemplated the current situation. yeah. things where NOT going to go over well.

feeling horrible, kai stood on her feet and decided she'd search for shin, when she couldnt find her she sighed "Shin?" she called out with a smile on her face "you're the only one i havent talked to in full" kai was well adjusting to her environment and this pleased her greatly

"I'm up here, hold on a moment." Shin called before stepping out on solid ground once again. "What is it Kai? You have questions?"

"a few" when she looked up at the woman she smiled "what's it like? Being normal?" her question wasnt confusion but at the same time it wasnt completely straight forward, what kai really wanted to know was, what was it like being with her own kind.
