"Even then humans where defining, they didn't want to be ruled by one person they wanted to do things by themselves choose choices that they wanted not because someone told them to, throughout history humans made war to fight against themselves over what was wrong and what was right, so yes they made wars over differences and opinions that could've just been able to talk it over, no man will listen to one person, your plan to let people know there is life in the forest, a good one, but don't let them know you'll are the ones living in the forest. don't let them know your powers and gifts, Humans will only use you." Hogarth said, his hand sliding down his blade, slowly, closing his eyes.

"stop it" Kai shrieked having heard enough of this "just stop it we can find a freaking way" hot tears streamed down her face again "w-we can find a way to help the forest, we can if we just work together.." her voice trembled when she spoke, hands shook and body went rigid "fighting wont help anything or anyone.." her 'heroic' action was turned into a plea, she was feeling the situation starting to stumble out of control and she didnt like it at all..

Nick turned to Kai and pulled her into a hug murmuring for her to breath. that it was okay, and to just breath and not think about anything else. he ignored the other male. someone was even more bitter then him.. who knew.

Hogarth's finger slippers from his blade a little, listening to the blade scream as though it was being tortured, his eyes pinched shut, not wanting to see Kai's tears. "Stop crying Kai, we are not going to fight, we are just talking about humans, with history of their thoughts, I just want you'll to be ready for what humans can and will do." Hogarth said, gently rubbing his blade as though trying to comfort it, his eyes staying close.

Nick stared at the blade suddenly wary. he did NOT like that blade. "Um..yeah I..I.." did not feel well at all. he instinctively pulled Kai a bit away from the other male as he wonderd dimly what the heck was going on. "That things alive isn't it.." he mutterd. glareing at the blade.

"you were fighting and you know it, you know it because your hand was on your blade" she gasped out, her works choked by thick tears. Her body didnt relax it stiffened further under Nick's hand, she was furious, she was far more than furious and refused to take her true form. She bit her lower lip trying to choke down the feeling which was taking her over, which was keeping her from being happy, when she finally calmed, her eyes closed and body relaxed "fighting wont solve anything.." she mumbled

Hogarth eyes opened, his eyes blue, he stopped rubbing the blade. His eyes turning to their original red color. "Yes this blade is alive." Hogarth said, looking up at Nick. "I call it the Clarity Blade." He said, looking at his blade. "It holds every soul, I've killed, each one holding their own fine ability, it clarifies my mind and gives me talent of every warrior I've killed." Hogarth said, looking down at the blade. "Some times I get the thoughts of the sages and wizards I've killed." Hogarth thought to all the intelligence of the wizards, and sages sages he killed, and never recalled any of them having magical powers, just smoke and mirrors. He started to rub the blade again, as it started to glow, his eyes turned blue, slowly closing his eyes to hide them, he listened to the thoughts that rolled around his head, his fingers acting like a beacon that would stop, to listen to a thought and hearing no answer to his question would move and focus in on another voice that was debating with the first.

"your sister.." she trembled "i can hear her" when she spoke she scrambled to push herself into nick more, to get them away, even if it would be just a few feet "you.. you" she trembled looking at Hogarth "you.. i-i knew there was something off about you.. b-but.. i-i.. you.." now back in tears "i heard voices when you talked.. now i hear her.."

Shin massaged her forehead "ENOUGH. Stop this. We want the forests to survive, not to dominate. We aren't talking about denying humans access and wood, only moderating it, which we ALREADY do, and reconnecting the forests so that we CAN survive. There is no reason to fight with the humans, barbaric as they may be, it will solve nothing. If there is one thing I have learned about humans is that they could be out gunned, out numbered and utterly overpowered and they won't give up. If we started a war with them we would have to wipe them all out which we will not do! They play a part in this balance as well. The only thing we need is survival." Shin sat down and leaned against a tree "Not dominance, never dominance. My race practically raised yours, we don't want to kill you, we just want you to not kill us."

kai looked up at shin then smiled "maybe we can mediate a meeting with the head humans and tell them what you just told us.. that your race practically raised theirs, that what they're doing is killing you.. and maybe just maybe they can stop this insanity"

Shin snorted, then chuckled, then laughed uproariously "Hogarth, Nick, I'll let you field that one. What exactly would happen if we marched in and told them 'Momma says stop that right now!' on a racial scale?"

kai's confidence dwindled "i dont know.." she mumbled "i dont know how to help" she cried out biteing her lower lip and trembling slightly anger was flaring up in her and she didnt feel quite alright with it, she didnt know what to do, how to stop it.

Hogarth had stopped Rubbing his fingers to the blade, the comment of his sister focused her in more, she appeared like a ghost in his closed yes, he became raged, chunking his blade, and opening his eyes to see it slice part of Kai's hair, his eyes glared at her. "You think for one moment I don't regret what I did to my sister." He said, his breaths seeming heavy. "I cared for my sister very much, you wanna know what got her killed?" He said, walking towards Kai, with no intent to harm her, but to scare her. Shin's question was ignored, he only had what Kai had to say about his sister.

courage flared "i dont want to know why" she shoved at him growling low in her throat, her back burned while her eyes flickered from color to color. She let oua gutteral snarl when Hogarth came to close. Her form was beginning to distort, when this happened her clothes were shreded by the impact of her transformation.

The creature she came to be was undescribable, though she was amazing looking she was intimidatingly tall as well as built, she no longer looked like a cat, but a cat and wolf mixed, large features like a werewolf but slender like a feline. She growled waiting for him to get too close.

Shin snapped. "STOP IT NOW!" she shrieked. The herd Kai had summoned went mad with panic and anger, stampedeing through the forest, thankfully away from the group as the foliage went mad. The trees all lashing out, grabbing for everyone as the scrub and grass grew at unnatural rates to entrap their ankles. The sky all but turned dark with her anger as the forest expressed her fury and frustration.

Hogarth stopped, looking at his blade stuck in a tree, then at Kai. "Well Kitty got fangs to go with them claws." He said mocking her. His hand slowly reaching for his spear located on his back, as he got up in her face, daring her almost. "You may look like my sister but your personality is nothing compared to hers. I'd have no problem putting you to sleep." Hogarth said, looking up and down Kai. "You willing to kill hundreds more humans? Losing control if they don't agree with you? What makes you diffrent from us, trying to pick a fight over a difference, it only takes one person to lay down their weapon for one to start talking, and talk it over, loosing your temper, your not better then a human." Hogarth said, trying to lower her courage. He pulled his hand from his spear. "My sister was killed by me, but my father told me to, the one I loved more then anything killed because one man wanted it so." He said, looking into Kai's eyes refusing to back down before she did.

she snarled staring down at Hogarth's eyes, her ears pressed back when she raised her hand to strike him she stopped and thought a minute "you're no better than my master.. doing things others tell you.. obeying like a blind animal, get away from me" her voice wasnt triumphant nor was it scared, she was just, well angry. Angry with a man to kill a family member, angry with him for being so heartless "i am not your sister, even if i was you'd kill me too wouldnt you?"

Kai looked up at Shin with wide eyes she immediately down shifted to hopefully calm the young woman down, she sighed and refused to look at Hogarth, in her book he did somethign totally unexplainable, there would be no reason as to why someone would kill their family. Just no reason at all "sorry Shin.." she sighed blushing deeply from the embarrassment "there's no excuse for our behavior"

Hogarth said nothing he knew what he had done to his sister, and didn't need to be reminded of it, unable to move, he broke his stare from Kai, looking at Shin. He started to mumble under his breath about Kai. " I could kill you, be easy just like my sister." His voice sounding a bit more angered. "I can kill anyone I wanted to without feeling a thing, I would kill my best friend if he had told me to, But I left my father, so I have no one to give me orders, I give my own missions, and thats the only thing you half to worry about, one of them just might do you in. Little kitty." He said, Removing his spear from his back, and stabbing it into the vine that held his ankle. "Get your dang roots off me." Hogarth said, walking over to his blade, picking it up to put it in its case.

Kai felt nothing but disgust for this man, for someone to be able to kill family was low in her book, really low, having grown up with no family kai knew better, even if she was ordered to kill someone, she wouldnt do it, she didnt think highly of herself but she knew she wouldnt do what he had done.

Hogarth shifted, looking over his shoulder at Kai, his eyes glaring at her, looking away as he walked in a circle of the clearing, grumbling still about Kai, loud enough for her ears to hear him, but not the others. He sat down in a well shaded area, sliding out his blade, and sliding his finger quickly around it, his fingers began to slow down, letting out a deep breath, the sound of the fingers running along the edges of his blade sounded like a heavenly tune, almost kind of like a crystal glass.

Shin sighed and attempted to calm herself, the forest going slowly back to normal. "Just, just stop arguing. Please, I'm so tired of it all. Can't you see this isn't helping anyone? Just stop it. I don't care what you've done, I care what you do, ok?"

Kai felt horrible, seeing as how he regretted it she approached him, kneeling in front of him after changeing into a new set of clothes of course "look.. i'm sorry" she appologized after blinking a few times she slipped a purple gemstone necklace over her head, this caused her to look astonishingly human, cat ears gone, temper controlled, her hair wasnt even black anymore it was a beautiful red with brown eyes to match "could you forgive me.. i.. i dont know i was just frustrated with you shooting down all of my ideas.. then your sister.. why did your dad order it?" she asked shyly, looking back at shin every so often

"i'm sorry" she admitted to shin, hopefully someone could come up with something, something that could save Shin's forest as well as her race. Perhaps the jungle would better suit her, since there arent many developments destroying the forests there

Shin waved a hand idly "It was a good plan and had promise, but the humans..." she sighed "Well they would make it difficult like always."

Hogarth's fingers stopped, his eyes opening, glowing blue before fading into their red color. "My sister proved she wasn't loyal to the king, her father, she was seeing the prince of the enemy castle my father was at war with, and dad didn't like it, so he sent me in." Hogarth said, his mind flashing back to the night of his sister's murder. "You ever wonder what its like to see your sister dieing in your hands?" Hogarth asked, looking at Kai. "I don't I don't feel a lot of things, my father raised me like that, a heartless man only mission was to kill what he was told to kill." He continued, his hand sliding over his blade slowly. "I wish I could release her soul from my blade, but the enchantment done to it wont let me, powerful elf magic enchantment is." He said, his eyes glowing blue has he kept a stair at Kai. "And all these voices." He said, his voice sounding like a bunch of voices all together. "They all..calm me, their screams, their chains wrapped around their wrists, and neck, all dead, but their souls are stuck here in this blade." He swallowed a little the millions of voices combined with his tired his throat, and made him thirst for water.

"of course they would, that's their nature, if they dont like something.." she sighed "they tear it down or attack it.." when she spoke her voice trailed off "what about the jungle?" she asked without any effort, knowing it may be shot down immediately

she nodded, quickly kissed his cheek and stood to her feet "i.. i'm sorry but i dont know how it feels to even have a family let alone to kill a member of it, so, unfortunately all i can do is ask, would you like me to be your friend? you can start a family, but they dont always have to be related to you, you know" when she spoke she spoke with finality and confidence.
