Shin raised an eyebrow "Possibly because it's blue, and your other eye is red. I think that whatever that sword is, the magic on it just messed you up pretty badly. We may have to get you to a mage. As for you Kai, once we're sure Hogarth is alright I'll get you some herbs for your hands."

"thank you" she blushed then smiled shyly "but i think all i need to do is wash them off and i should be fine.. we'll see" when she talked her eyes never left Hogarth wishing his eyes would return to normal she panicked.

"I have millions of wizard's inside my blade." Hogarth said, looking at Shin. He laid his blade gently in his lap, sliding his fingers, gently against the blade. "Go find Kai some herbs I'll be fine." Hogarth said, opening his eyes while stopping on a wizard, to look at Shin, then looked at his blade, flinching seeing the wizard he had killed standing next to him. "What the hell?" He looked at Kai, then at the wizard, it seemed to be invisible to Kai, she never passed a glance at it, he looked at the wizard, studying it, and himself inside his head what the hell? and with the thought the wizard pointed to his right eye. Hogarth's eye brows lifted, a little confused, looking over at Kai, seeing if she could see the wizard, but she didn't ask where the mage came from, or seemed to take any interest in the wizard. "Am I the only one that sees him?" He said quietly, reaching his hand out, feeling the clothing of the wizard. "What the hell happen?" He questioned, the mage kneeling in front of him, pointed to Kai, then to the sword. "You cant talk?" Hogarth questioned, looking at the mage as it shook its head. "Can she see you?" Hogarth asked, watching the mage shake his head once again. "Okie. How do I make you go away?" Hogarth asked, watching the mage point to the blade, then to Hogarth's eye. Hogarth blinked confused, looking at the mage it sighed or looked like it sighed as it started to write a sentence in the dirt. "The blade has made a bound to you, and when you didn't comfort it, it found another to help it." Hogarth said, looking at the mage. "Someone else?" The mage pointed to Kai. Then started to write "Kill her" in the dirt Hogarth kicked the dirty, slidding the blade into its case, and walking over to Kai, gripping her head. "Hold still." He said, trying to see into Kai's eye.

kai was stunned by what was happening she blinked and looked up at him with genuine curiousity, she tilted her head, or atleast tried to, her hands stopped bleeding but the pain was still there, throbbing with every heartbeat.

Hogarth looked into her eye, the mage behind her writing a message in the dirt. "Focus your talents, and force them into her left eye." the mage wrote, Hogarth looked into Kai's left eye, his right eye slowly turning back into its original color as Kai's left eye turned a blue color. "Kai Tell me if you see that Mage." Hogarth said, turning her head towards the mage behind her.

Shin frowned. Hogarth was hallucinating about invisible wizards? NOT a good sign. Moving to stand behind Kai she grabbed his arms again. She could have a grip of steel when she needed to. "Hogarth, what are you doing? You just had a seizure, magical or not you need rest. Lay down."

"No There is a mage here its right behind Kai, let me go." Hogarth said, trying to break free of Shin's grasp. "Trust me Shin I don't know what the mage wants but anyone that can see it he can physicly hurt, and he just told me to kill Kai, Even if I am crazy I dont want to hurt Kai." He said, hold Kai's head gently.

looking up at him kai's eyes expressed worry "why me?" she asked looking up at him then back at shin lazily searching the ground for the mage "i.. cant see him but i can feel him.. he's a malignant force.." when she spoke her voice trailed off

Shin closed her eyes and muttered "Yes, the forest can feel him as well. Who is he Hogarth? Why is he doing this?"

"The spell didn't work?" Hogarth questioned, looking into Kai's left eye seeing it was blue. "She should be able to see it, the blade's soul was split in two, and my half of the soul hides in the right side of my brain and Kai's half hides in her left." Hogarth said, looking over at Shin. "Look for the mage, you've got to be able to see him, do you see him?" Hogarth was hopping she would, he didn't know why just hopped it would solve his eye problem.

Shin grumbled to herself before muttering "If he's a soul from the blade does he need to go back or can I just get rid of him? The forest is not defenseless after all. Then we can deal with the sword itself."

"I dunno if this is a problem or not, its very interesting though." Hogarth said, looking at Shin. "If it is a problem I gotta find some way of getting the other half of the soul back." Hogarth said, looking at the mage. "As for my blade I cant let you destroy it if thats what your thinking." Hogarth looked back at Shin. "If that sword caused me to be in so much pain to ask for help, and now its in Kai's head too, it wont only kill me but it could kill her too." Hogarth said, looking at the mage.

kai looked around and nodded seeing the mage, she stood up and growled, pulling the purple necklace off which revealed her truest of forms, her catlike appearence.

Confronting the mage would be dangerous and kai knew it, she stared up at him while slowly pulling out a dagger from the back of her pants, she stabbed through him but he was unaffected

Shin groaned, "Kai stop stabbing the spirit, it won't work. Hogarth I could care less about the sword, I meant what to do about the split. A house divided will not stand, an arch divided quickly crumbles... What we need to do FIRST is deal with the mage. I repeat, does he need to go back in the sword or can I just get rid of him?"

kai's heart started to beat unregularly while the spirit came toward her, she shrieked and ran from it, chasing her was probably the last thing on her mind but of course kai was scared and ran behind Hogarth staring at it in bewilderment.

"No at this point it seems like his neutral, the sword's enchantment protects the owner from the spirits inside of it from turning against him or her, So Kai and I are safe, as for You and Nick, I dunno I mean it hasn't tried to do anything to you." Hogarth said, his hand reaching out, touching the mage. "This is incredible." Hogarth said, poking the mage gently. "I mean at some point he has to go back just cant have a spirit fallowing us around, might come in use maybe." He said, gripping his blade, he looked at the mage, blinking as he felt like doing something stupid. "I wonder." he asked, slowly sliding the blade into the mage's chest, looking as it showed no sign of pain, he twisted his blade with the flick of his wrist as the mage exploded into a puff of smoke. "That was kinda lame. I guess hes back in the sword now." he said, looking at the blade carefully. "Okie Kai I gotta take the eye back, sorry but I dont want you to stay blind in that eye forever." Hogarth said, turning to face Kai, meeting eye contact with her, his pupil grew smaller as his right eye began to turn from its red color to a blue color, his right eye watering from the pain of taking the cursed eye.

she dropped instantly from the pain, her eyes snapped shut while she laid on the forest floor twtiching wildly. She bit her tongue and smacked the back of her head off of a rock which split the skin causing her to bleed.

After calming down her slender body laid limp on the ground, her tail flicked but ears drooped without effort.

Hogarth knelled down, his hands hovering over her, looking around confused. "Uh, Shin?" Hogarth said, looking down at Kai. "Dang it okie umm." He said, taking off his shirt, looking around, he gripped his blade, pulling it out, and quickly sliding his fingers across the blade, on a sage, looking up he say the sage kneel over Kai, his bag filled with all kinds of doctor utensils to bandage the dieing. He opened the bag, pulling out a swab and dabbing it with some sort of remedy, he gently dabbed it against the cut of her head, then pulling out a needle and thread started to stitch it the wound closed. The sage stood up bowing his head, writing a note in the dirt, Hogarth raised slightly to see it. "Wake her up and keep her awake for at least an hour." Hogarth said quietly, doing as he was told he waisted no time, gently tapping Kai's cheek to wake her up. "Come on wake up you cant sleep, come on wake up Kai." Hogarth said trying to wake her.

(i filled you in star, kai had a seizure like reaction to the pain caused by the removal of the other half of hogarth's soul and the replacement of her own)

kai didnt wake, she was in a comotose state where nothing would affect her, she groaned and drooled, gurgled and coughed, nothing would wake her was her fear. Her body was paralyzed but her mind was still moving, she looked up at hogarth with expressionless eyes, she didnt speak, she didnt move, she just laid there feeling as helpless as a dieing old man.

little by little her mobility returned to her, she bit her lower lip attempting to sit up, when nothing happened she nodded and rolled to her side curling into a small ball.

Shin returned from where she had stepped into a tree, arms laden with herbs and medicine. She moved quickly making a poition for nerve health, which looked like it was the problem here. The moment it was done she moved to Kai's side and hauled her up so she was sitting. "Kai, I need you to drink this, can you do that?" Shin asked, holding the shallow bowl with the potion up in front of her.

Kai's eyes looked at her when she did she truly saw shin for who she was, she attempted to nodd and leaned her head down a few inches lightly sipping at the bowl's content's. Her eyes were faded and tail and ears refused to twitch, to move, to do anything. She cried small tears hopeing she'd wouldnt remain this way, hopeing that she could be healed.

"There, that should encourage your nerves to heal. Give it some time, perhaps a few hours. Try to get some rest."

-Current History- A wandering swordsman, who dispatched himself from his group of bandits to train and travel on his own.

-Present- He woke up in the forest not knowing how he got there. He heard voices coming from the right of where he was laying and decided to go see who it was. That is until he realized he could barely stand so he had to use his katana as a cane. Slowly but surely he made his way to the voices and saw a group of people, he assumed were trying to heal someone.

"Hey if you got anymore medicine mind if I have some. I can barely feel my legs."

Shin glanced up at him with a raised arrow. "We do. Sit, tell me what the problem is." She stood and approached him to gently guide him over to where he could sit comfortably.
