IC: Nick had paused on his way back to the group, he hadn't thought he'd taken that long but he'd found a stream and well. he felt dirty so he'd taken a bath.. then decided they didn't NEED him right away so he'd made himself comfortable and stared up at the stars.. he'd probably do this again it was.. NICE. he'd never been a group kinda guy to began with. the only reason he even went back was because he HAD promised and a promise was a promise no matter what. of course seeing new faces sorta made him pause. was this forest cursed or something cause that guy did NOT look like he was from the twentieth century.

she smiled "good, honestly, that means less ties to the people you once lived with so you can get on with your life" whle she spoke kai felt relieved and also thankful that she wouldnt have to deal with a mopey boy missing his one true love.

kai sighed looking around for nick then bit her lower lip hopeing he was okay, she jumped up once she heard a splash then sat back down thankful to have heard it okay he's okay" she whispered to herself

Satoshi heard leaves and sticks cracking and looked up and saw someone approaching them.

"Kai, is that a friend of yours?"

Nick glanced at the other boy taking in his appearance. nick stood at five feet four inches, he was 'delicate' but that tended to make people un cautious around him. silver eye's flicked back to his 'adopted' sister. "Well I'd say that but I seem to of stayed away for to long as I certiantly don't know you."

"If you want to know how I got here ask the one sleeping in the tree. She seems to know more about how I got here then I do."

kai squeaked and jumped up running over to him giving him a big hug "he's my brother" she giggled lightly kissing both of his cheeks before thoroughly checking him for wounds "are you okay? did he find you? did he hurt you?"

Nick sighed and tried to calm Kai down he'd deal with the new person in a moment. "No he didn't find Me I've never been one for groups, I just.. took some time to myself to calm down I was making everyone just a little uncomfortable.. no I'm not hurt Kai I can occasionally stick up for myself you know.." his tone was amused and more teasing then irritated. "He come through another time portal?"

"Kai said something about someone finding you, whats that about?"

she nodded then whispered to him "he's really cute too.. i dont think he's gay or anything.." she giggled in hopes of finally found a straight male who accepted her for who she was "big brother is this so exciting"

kai stopped short then looked back at him "he.. doesnt like to talk about it and it's none of my business to.. reveal anything" she kept her mouth shut unwilling to give any details out, because it wasnt her place.

Nick glanced at the new male. his look suddenly that OF a brother and warning the other as well to not harm his sister. "I..I don't like talking about it.." he mutterd but if the guy WAS joining their band he'd find out eventually he sighed. "I'm a..Run away slave. I suppose the term would be. I.." he shifted nervously. yeah he had managed to forget for a time what was hunting him down.

"Oh, sorry for asking then."

Nick closed his eyes. "I was a slave to a..To a man who ..hurt me very badly." he muttered staring at the ground. "He's not to happy I got away, and will probably be coming after me." should he finally tell them WHY the guy was coming after him? why he wouldn't stop until he found him?

"i'm.. an escapee" kai mumbled pointing to the collar's she always wore "they hide the scars" she blushed deeply hopeing this wouldnt tarnish his view of her.

kai's arms immediately wrapped around Nick comforting him as well as she could "shh.. brother you dont need to talk about him.."

Nick's eye's narrowed. "It made me stronger. Made it so Im .. I'm not that easy to stomp on. even if I do lose it made it so I can at least fight.." well as long as he never EVER came face to face with Ray anyways.

kai nodded and looked at each of them, she didnt know what to do other than to sit by hogarth lightly strokeing the sword knowing it wont attack her was a great gift.

Satoshi tried to stand so he could stretch after not being able to move for so long, but as he got up he fell back down still not able to feel his legs enough to even get up on his own.

kai saw this and waved to her brother to help, she walked over to satoshi then smiled offering him a hand, need help?" her voice was gentle but sweet.

"You sure you want me to grab your hand?"

Remembering what grabbing her leg did.

"my hands are much more resistant to these types of things" she spoke shyly biting her lower lip "it's okay take it i'll help you"

Satoshi took her hand and felt the cold in his and the warmth in hers contradict each other.

"Thank you."

she smiled and nodded lightly putting his arm around her shoulder, her hand gripped his opposite side right around his waist keeping his supported on her. She forced her body to secret more heat to protect herself from his cool one "where to?"

Nick moved forward. "Here let me look at that.." he reached out and green energy formed around his hands as he touched the other's legs. he sent the healing energy into Satoshi's leg trying to ease out the pain and repair whatever was wrong.
