kai nodded and smiled pulling herself onto land, she laid on her back and watched as the clouds moved by. She giggled knowing hogarth was sleeping, he'd always slept through the day.

Nick shifted, yawned and flicked his ears forward and then back against his head as he cracked open a silver gaze at Kai's laughter.

she looked up at Nick with a friendly gaze "how're you holding up?" she yawned widely before rubbing her eyes

"I'm up.. not likely to go back down for a while but i'm up."

she laughed then blinked a few times before saying "i meant how're you doing? are you alright?"

Nick flicked his eyes to the ceiling. "I will be.." he murmerd softly.

she nodded again and let out a soft yawn feeling the semotion of worry setting in and hard.

Satoshi leaned up against a tree so he could sleep. This night he knew he would sleep easy.

Nick didn't sleep he just laid there thinking. though to anyone looking at him he appeared asleep.

Hogarth's eyes shifted open, Looking around to find Kai missing, he shifted his weight to one knee, looking around.
The night time being his only time awake, he shifted to a standing pose, looking around, unsure of what was happening, walking towards the direction of the most noise.

kai was laying under a sky filled with stars and barely any clouds, she yawned wide and long before rolling to her stomach she rolled her head back and did a few cat stretches before stumbling her way to where a fire was, she was shivering and badly "i wonder if he's up yet" she sighed deciding to look, when she checked his sleeping spot she noticed he was gone "humm.."

Hogarth shifted his fingers from his eyes, almost tripping from a stump, as he tried to wake up. "Its still early for me." He said, looking tiredly out at a rocky bottom of a mountain, seeing three figures moving around. "Dunno who they are." He said with a yawn, looking at them as the looked over at him, they shifted a little as though spotting him, and trying to observe what he looked like. Hogarth wasn't aware of who they were, standing still he tried to act like a tree, making sure it wasn't him they where looking at.

Kai knew exactly what needed to be done, she shifted to her cat body and ran after hogarth's scent, when she finally reached him she pressed against his legs purring loudly. She noticed the figures then giggled, she reverted to her human form and stood on her feet "those are the others" she whispered "nick was attacked a few days ago.. he's still recovering but you know this" she giggled again looking into his eyes, her left one burning horribly but, it was a nice type of burn, the type that let her know she was near hogarth.

His eyes shifted to Kai's, Smiling his left eye having no pain, or none that he could feel it was more pleasurable, like a tickling feeling that made him excited, he grew attached to the feeling each time it happened Kai was close by. "Oh." He said gently, shifting in his stance a little, turning to face Kai. "How you doing today?" He asked, looking at her ribs.

she laughed and pressed at the bruise "it barely hurts today, i was almost eaten by a fish i wanted to eat, made friends with him and missed you while you were sleeping" she outed ever so slightly "you know, you talk in your sleep? it's adorable you know" she kissed both of his cheeks before pulling him away from the cliff, she didnt feel quite to comfortable around the edge of the world, she knew he wouldnt fall but it was the initial thought that he could is what scared her.

"I do?" he asked curiously. "What was isaying?" He asked, blushing a little as he allowed her to pull him away. "And how where you able to make friends with a fish?" Gently laughing, he fallowed her, walking next to her.

"shin can talk to them, and joe said i looked tastey" she giggled "i didnt know anyone would actually consider eating me, he crawled up on land! and chased me right into a tree!" she thought for a moment then turned back to him her eyes suddenly streaked with love and happiness "you kept repeating my name, then something about the sword, everytime you'd say something like that i'd check on the blade, but everytime it fine so i dont know what the blade part was about" she leaned in whispering in his ear "you um.. looked like you were having sexual dreams" she giggled again blushing a deep shade of red this time.

Hogarth's face reddened from her last sentence, looking over his shoulder to make sure no one was listening. "I've never had any sexual dreams." He very quietly said, trying to lie, he stood in his place, unsure of what to say.

"your words say one thing and yet, your body tells the truth" she giggled hugging him then whispered into his ear in such a manner that it would give any heterosexual man chills "it's okay if you have them, everyone does" she attempted to comfort him.

Nick stood up in irritation. jeesh.. people. he headed for the opening and shifting human climbed up and out into the forest. he walked to a tree and climbed up it to sleep in the branches.

kai watched as her brother stalked off to another tree, she of course felt horrible for having chased him away so her head dipped in what felt like sorrow mixed with joy.

Hogarth gently laughed at Nick, watching as he climbed into the tree, he shrugged. Sort of knowing why Nick did that, he stretched his arms to its fullest as he let out a yawn. "Don't worry Kai its not your fault." He said quietly.

"are you sure? it seems like everytime someone is annoyed around here it's cuza me or something i did" she sighed softly and looked at the way his arms stretched, so, of course she slipped into his arms wrapping hers around his sides.

Gently laughed, coming out of the yawn and stretch, his hands wrapped around her, gently resting his chin on the top of her head. "Yeah I'm sure, dont let it bother you." Hogarth said, looking down at Kai.

she nodded and smiled fitting perfectly in his arms "okay, so, besides what i already know, what else did you dream about?" she giggled
