Nick snorted. "Dun let rose hear you call me 'Daddy' She'll tell you right out that Im her 'mommy'..." shaking his head he moved on ahead, not seeming to think about it he disappeared from view..becoming 'one' with the forest, much like his panther form. when he relized they wouldn't beable to fallow if he did that he walked back into veiw and lead them up the side of the mountian and to the outside of his cave. "Rose Im home come on out.."

Rose came out of her hideing spot, she had blue black hair and large silver eye's like her father but wasn't as pale. she moved forward and then jumped into her mothers arms. Nick of course caught her.

kai smiled looking down at her children who had bright silver eyes, much brighter then kai's. Yabi had a silver tint to his brown hair making him look like a glacier child. Stella had a blue tint to her silver eyes in certain lighting, this concerned kai, she never wanted her daughter to fight like she had her entire life, who would want that? she bit her lower lip lightly chewing it "momma stop you're guna bleed!" yabi screamed this caused kai to jump she smiled and looked back at the child "sorry" she gave him a wink "did you get married?" she asked in a soft voice, obviously talking to nick.

Nick tensed. and stared down at his daughter setting her on her feet he suggested she take the other two to her room and play. Rose darted forward and dragged the twins off. once they where out of hearing he looked at her. "No. I didn't. I..went back into town and ran into a couple of intoxicated humans..She doesn't know who her father is just knows I'm her mother. I told her her father died before she was born." his tone was cold. then warmed up. "How's your mate?" yep topic change R us.. that was nick alright.

kai pushed forward wrapping her arms around her brother "i'm so sorry i wasnt here to protect you" she said in an all too appologetic voice "i.." tears welled in her eyes "he's doing good" she smiled pulling back from the hug, he'd bulked out so much since she last saw him, maybe leaving was the best thing she did, but, it scared her.

"he's aging, i dont want to loose him.. my race lives for hundreds of years.. and nick i cant loose him, i just cant watch him wither away" she nearly broke down, this had obviously been burning into her "i'm waiting to find a silver hair.. i.." she took a calming breath "i know how i can stop his ageing process but i dont want to do that to him" she sighed "we leave a small mark on our mate's neck in shape of a heart and that slows their aging rate to ours"

"how is life treating you?"

Nick hugged her. "You don't have to be sorry, I wouldn't give rose up for anything she's..become my world. and because of her I can stick up for myself now Im .. I don't freeze. " he murmured studying her face. "If you can slow the aging, talk it over with him, you might be surprised by his answer." he said and contemplated. well after having rose life had been ..pretty calm and he liked it. "It's.. Good." he said for once smiling. he didn't have the haunted look to his eyes anymore. "I don't have nightmares.. I don't have panic attacks. I'm the guardian of four villages at the base of the mountain.. I keep the riff Raff out it's.. their retreats for others like you and me when we first met. run a way's.. those to broken to survive without help. and I keep hunters and..their owners away especially the bad ones."

kai smiled widely "i'm so proud of you" she wrapped her arms around him once again "i'm so happy that you.. you.. i dont know how to even say it other than, you've grown up so much" she laughed,

"i'm queen now" she blushed "anytime hogarth goes into battle i assist him, we have angels that watch over Astella and Yabi" she giggled thinking their names over once more "they seem so out of date for this time. But they fit each of them so well" she gushed

"your little girl looks just like you. She's adorable"

"She takes after my older sister." he made a face. "And brother.. apparently My parents couldn't take care of me..Raven and well Raven .." he rolled his eyes. "Or Coal as some of the family call him, Came looking for me.. You might meet them. Coal's an ass.. in my opinion but he's good for learning how to fight.. and Raven she's.. well.." hmm she was a bitch with an attitude and didn't take anything from anyone who hadn't earned her respect. "They've been wanting to meet my 'adopted sister'.. I don't claim kinship to them I don't KNOW them."

she sighed feeling two hands grip her rear she growled turning to see someone resembling nick standing with a grin on his face. her ears pressed back to her head, she quickly pulled her blade out and in a swift motion she had the blade against his neck, the metal unwilling to slice his flesh just yet "i'm married" she growled again, her animal insticts kicking in

she looked back at nick with a shy smile "i.. well... i learned how to fight and i've taken out many of soldiers >.> most of the elite.. who is this fool anyways?"

Nick sighed. "That would be Raven's student. (do me a favor and don't try taking control of raven or Coal..their personal characters I've created..) He's a shape shifter.. and had BETTER lose the image of my brother or I'LL Cut off something that's more precious to him." Nick growled. glaring at Lark who gave an unrepentant grin and seemed to blur for a moment keeping the height but losing the family resemblance.

"you grab me again and i wont be so nice, i'll cut off the head you love most" she growled her canine's elongating while she did this. She took on a wild woman appearence, which, the children would have been cheering for while they were in the room "where is this brother of yours anyways?" she giggled

Nick sighed. "How should I know.. Lark where's the idiot training you? ohh and touch her like that again and I'll sick raven on you.." THAT wiped the smirk off the idiots face.

Raven sighed as he finished his own personal training and headed back to his brother's place. he was NOT looking forward to Nicks response when he mentioned their sister.. his twin.. had gone off to do some wild haired mission.

"we can wait until he comes around" she laughed rubbing the back of her neck throwing lark away from her and sliding the blade back on her side "has anything else happened?" she looked back at nick sitting on a well placed rock, her legs crossed while a smile crept over her face.

Raven entered and raised an eyebrow at Lark who was on the ground. "What female did you piss off this time.."

"me" she said in an all too regal way while standing to her feet, she pulled out a throwing dagger preparing herself to throw it into lark's skull, though he was just a boy she did not hesitate "give me a reason not to kill you right here and now boy"

Raven sighed. "Because then I have to deal with his father. Im supposed to be beating some manners into the pup.." Ravens form was a wolf.. so he tended to talk in pack terms. but if you kill him I won't stop him.." frankly he'd had to deal with his twin sister's attitude like that and didn't need another female set to try and kick his ass.

Nick grumbled. "You kill him do it outside I don't need to explain to Rose why there's blood on the flo.. err.. ground in our home.."

she nodded and pushed the knife back into her sikly satchel. She blushed deeply while looking over at nick then over at raven "hello. My name is Kai"

she kept an eye on lark if this were hogarth and i's time, he would have been killed on the spot she thought to herself. Thankful that she was takeing a break from their kingdom.

Raven smacked Lark upside the head hard. "Get moving start climbing the mountian to the top. if I reach it before you Im kicking your ass.." he glared at the male until he started moving out and up the mountian. hten faced Kai and did a bow. "Pleasure to meet you Kai.. My name is Raven Coal, Im normaly Called coal if my sisters around...our mother wasn't very original.."

Nick rolled his eyes. "Raven.. if he touches her again Im removing his head. he's already on my bad side he gets any further and Im gonna rip it off his shoulders."

kai laughed "if he touches me again he's going to be missing a head he'll really miss" she grinned taking out a smaller dagger "i'm not as tolerant for people touching me like that unless it's my husband" she mused

the two blue black haired males with matching silver eye's looked at each other in surprise.
Raven picked up on it first. "Nick's a submissive of our species.. the doms are normaly six foot even.." which was ravens hight.. and where nick had gotten a bit of muscle, he still remained five foot even, well minus 5 feet, so five foot five.. still had the over all feminine look. where as raven clearly LOOKED male. and one that didn't get the muscles he had from a 'gym' but form actual labor and practice with wepons.

Nick grumbled as he moved OUT of hitting range. "Put it what way.. it was the truth." just then Rose came out of the back saw raven and one minute she was there and the next slamming into the older males legs. or that was where she was aiming, Raven caught her before she could and spun her around in the air.

"if she can move that fast, then she should, it'll keep people from grabbing her when you piss them off." Nick glared at him again. okay did not want his adopted sister knowing he still got into trouble on regular bases..*

kai hissed "people are still after you?" her twins were suddenly at her side wanting to help "we can hunt 'em down momma!" one state with a cute grin on their face, it was none other than her little boy yabi. He'd been training with his father so he felt he could fight anything

Nick closed his eyes. "No.. people AREN'T still after me.." he glared at his brother. "Raven just over worries."

"He pisses people off on a regular bases, such as the owners of every run away slave he protects.." Raven said with a dark look at his shorter brother.
