Agkelos walked over to where the circle was and examined it. Most of the circle had been erased, but it wouldn't be hard for Galos to restore and track it. "Hey, guys," he called to his allies, "the ceremony isn't over yet. You still need to get your shards and have your full powers awakened." Walking back towards the platform, he looked towards the sky and saw that the sun had almost risen. Standing next to Galos after reaching the platform, he desperately wished that the ceremony would go smoothly.

"Where is that demon!?" Theikos shouted. Not five minutes earlier, he had thrown his servant out the wall and into the abyss below. "And the summoner as well? They were supposed to be here three hours ago with their reports." Theikos was extremely ticked off by now, and was thinking of executing the two of them. If they're not here in ten minutes, he thought with a growl, they're going to wish they were dead.

Runa drew up a portal and appeared in the baskan headquarters.
"Hello Theikos, whats up?" She asked playfully, she knew that he wasnt in the best of moods.
"I had to go to the beauty salon, that damned fire guardian made a garbage can explode and got garbage all in my hair. But I didnt waste any time, i drew up an accurate status report. The water guardian is a woman with white hair and wings, the earth guardian has gold fur and silver stripes, and the fire guardian has black hair with yellow streaks and violet eyes. They think they are strong and highly underestimate anyone who opposes them."

Zafiri Drakontas 08-07-2009 08:21 PM

That wretched Fire Guardian has been a thorn in my side for too long," he stated with a snarl, "And where's that other member? Nevermind, that's not important right now. I want you to enter the city in disguise and learn as much as you can about the Guardians, but don't let them discover who you are. Got it?"

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 08-07-2009 08:28 PM

Runa bowed down, "Yes master, i'm gonna have to get a new disguise though."
She approached the throne he was seated on and sat on his lap, "you know i love you right? ;D"
She promptly flew away to her quarters and started designing her new disguise.

"Aloriana." she answered with a nod "But now we must be gone, the ceremony is important, I have need to speak to Galos." With that she turned and took to the air, swiftly landing on the platform in front of Agkelos and Galos, she folded her wings with a snap. She was quite a sight, white hair wild and disheveled, tunic torn and bloodstained, small cuts all over her slowly staining her wings and the remains of her tunic, she stood tall and proud.

"Diz head" she said with a smirk. "There is no wind, so you have some lucky Mr. Loony." She said as she looked around before heading back to her room, with her hunter knife out just in case the moron tried something.

Creating a slide of rock, Lypos made his way towards the platform to complete the ceremony. Seeing that the other two were already there, he walked up and stood awkwardly next to his fellow guardians while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Waiting until the crowd was silent, Galos prepared his speech in his head again. Once the crowd had quieted, he began. "Citizens of this fair town, I welcome you to the ceremony of the Crystals once more. Despite last night's interruptions, we shall continue as tradition," he stated as the armor was picked up, "The Guardian of Earth, may he be forever strong as the rocks. The Guardian of Water, may she be forever wise and knowledgeable. Inside the armor, you will find a shard of the Crystal that you guard. Don this shard to recieve your full powers. This year, however, there will be no light shows that signify the transfer of power. It will be subtle, but you will most assuredly feel it. With that, I welcome you with open arms as the new Guardians of the Cyrstal."

Firemare 08-08-2009 03:50 AM

Aloriana Bowed her head respectfully and took the armor into her arms "Galos, for all my wisdom, I know that sometimes best to simply seek advice. Twice in the last two days have I been cursed, and I would be free of them. In matters of magic you are unsurpassed, so I submit this to your judgement."

XxXshizuki-chanXxX 08-08-2009 03:55 AM

Runa was wearing a plain white dress and a black corset, she had a blond wig and brown contact lenses, she totally fit in with the crowd.
She made sure to remember the facts about the guardians, water was wisdom, and earth was strength, but she still didnt know of the fire guardian....

Zafiri Drakontas 08-08-2009 06:43 PM

"Is that so, Aloriana? Well let's go shall we? Before I can cure you however, I'll need to know the symptoms," He said as he started walking towards his quarters. Two curses were a major problem. They could eventually grow and make each other stronger, unless the cursers had no idea that she had two curses. If it was one curse, he usually put a shield around the patient and sent them home. If a curse was not strengthened in twenty-four hours, the curse would be expelled with the shield, but two curses were a much greater threat.

Aloriana followed him obediently "The first interferes with my healing somehow, it makes me feel the pain of it. The second I recieved only minutes before, and I have not yet seen any signs of what it does. She shouted an incantation, marked me with her blood, and then it turned black." She offered up the mark on her tunic for examination "Can it be determined from that?"

Zafiri Drakontas 08-08-2009 10:05 PM

"From your description of the symptoms, I can conclude that the first curse was an inverse healing curse. It was used towards the end of the last millennia by the elves to stop the invaders from healing their soldiers," Galos stated as they entered his small house. The walls were covered by bookshelves that held hundreds of books each. "The curse will be relatively easy to lift, but not much can be said about the second. Do you remember the icantation?" he stated as he drew a circle on the ground with sorcerer's sand, "Stand in the center of the circle. Okay, now all we have to do is right the path that your healing energies take. Now this may sound crazy, but I want you to push your wings back into your body while I alter the path that your healing takes. Don't worry about the pain, the circle will prevent that."

qweenGiba 08-08-2009 10:50 PM

She headed back to her room to see that the curse circle was glowing black, "oh no you don't. I'm not about to let someone stop my little fun." She growled as she made sure that the feather was still in the center. She pulled out the paint and started to make a third circle, this one to keep the curse stuck. She remembered the second curse she made and smiled darkly thinking how it would be used for later use.

Firemare 08-08-2009 10:53 PM

Alora frowned. "It was in the heat of battle. It sounded latin, and I remember 'Dominus Operitus' near the beginning and 'Operantur' and something like labor in there as well. I was hoping that the blood would leave a magical trace that could tell us what it is." She stepped into the center of the circle with a grin "In case you have forgotten, I do not usually have wings. Forcing them into my body is NOT somthing I am unfamiliar with. I am ready."

Zafiri Drakontas 08-09-2009 02:08 AM

"I knew that you forced them into your body. I was talking about the pain," Galos said with a smile, "The blood is not magical in origin, but it would be easier finding the remedy if we knew what kind of blood it is. Another thing that you will not have to worry about is an extension of the curse placed on your healing energies. My house is warded to prevent negative magic from affecting those inside." Sticking his hands out if front of him, a greenish glow surrounded them as he muttered some words in an arcane language. "I've already started on the healing energies, but to progress, I need you to force your wings into your body."

qweenGiba 08-09-2009 02:24 AM

She bit her hand when the circle was done, she need to work fast if she wanted to keep it there. She watcher her hand bleed fast onto the circle but not showing up, on the ground. "Fest my spell, and hurry up and start working." She said as she started t run around the room till she found an old dragon scale, something she loved dearly but need to use. She placed the scale into the circle and watch as it disappeared. She sighed as the spell started to work since the circle was physically spinning on the ground quiet fast. "You may be smart, but I'm smart too." She muttered as she looking around for some bandages for her hand.

Firemare 08-09-2009 04:50 AM

Aloriana complied with Galos. Though it was a complicated thing she was doing, she had long years of practice. Instead of telling the body what it was supposed to be like and encouraging it to do that, she was informing her body of the age it needed to be, pre-adolescence when her wings had not yet sprouted. Though she was absorbing her wings in a sense, she was really tricking her own body into believeing that she had not yet grown them at all. Usually it was difficult, but whether because there was not even the usual pain from forcing her body to comply or some added benefit from Galos's house, the wings were gone in mere minutes. That was a relief. Not only to have her wings gone, but since it had been one of her feathers that was the material component of the curse and she no longer had them, the curse would be without an anchor to her, and would no longer affect her even with Galos's help.

Zafiri Drakontas 08-09-2009 06:45 AM

The second the negative energy entered his house, Galos grabbed more sorcerer's sand and added several glyphs to the circle that Aloriana was standing on while still redirecting her healing energies. The glyphs provided more protection from negative magic. It was a spell that was used by the full-blooded angels that hardly left their realm. He was lucky enough, however, to be deemed worthy, by one, to be taught their magic.

She looked around her room till she found the right book, was only found deep in the dark elf society. Almost know one knew even one spell from this book, she won this in a fight with the leader. She opened the book and started to chant in the strange language, a spell that would bind any curse to the original target no maker what the person form was. She was going to put up a fight to keep that curse since that woman was a pest.

Firemare 08-09-2009 07:00 PM

((OOC: please stop godmoding your curse. You have no idea what sort of things we are doing! So you can't possibly have some crazy magical answer to everything. I let you put it on me as a good rper. Return the favor of being realistic and just let it go or this is going to turn into some crazy one upping thing and it will never end.))

Iori Vytenson 08-09-2009 08:08 PM

Yulo walked into the room just as Galos completed the purification ritual purging Aloriana of the curse-energies inhibiting her healing.
"Oh please, Galos. Don't tell me you're about to waste a perfectly good blood curse?" he stepped closer to Aloriana. "Sorry hun, this is going to hurt. Alot." he dipped a palmful of powdered glass from his belt, and murmuring the Volcanic language over it, he forced it into a pointed cylindrical shape. He then proceeded to drive the glass into the base of Aloriana's skull, causing her to tremor slightly as her eyes went out of focus. Black tendrils like ink in water filled the glass to it's edges, until the glass shard was a pure, glinting obsidian colour.
"And now class, we have a bottled curse. If neither of you want it, i'm taking it for future use. Of course, you have first dibs, being the original victim. Here, drink this, it helps the wound heal." he handed her a tiny vial filled with a noxious tonic.

Firemare 08-09-2009 08:15 PM

Aloriana shuddered from the pain and felt her knees give way beneath her as Yulo pulled out the shard. She fell to her hands and knees with a gasp and blinked several times to clear her vision. Her stomach twisted and rolled and she was glad she had had nothing to eat in many hours. With a trembling hand she touched the back of her head. It was a simple enough process to inform her body of how to heal that, and she relished the feeling of having her healing be right again. It was such a minor thing that her shoulder bones barely developed nub, which she quickly smoothed back down. "No thank you Yulo, I'm fine now." With a cough she started trying to push herself to her feet, "Though I may need a hand getting up."

Iori Vytenson 08-09-2009 08:19 PM

Yulo reached down, giving Aloriana a hand up, before plopping himself down on the armrest of a chair.
"So. I just got back from my last... assignment. What is going on here? Looks bad if you got double cursed. I am glad I have it now.... I can't wait to use it!" Saying this, he giggle-cackles a little bit before regaining composure, patiently awaiting the update.

Zafiri Drakontas 08-09-2009 08:28 PM

"You know I hate it when you do that, Yulo," Galos said, "It causes too much pain, and I just don't see the point in capturing curses that I can remove without pain, especially when I can lay a worse curse on the curser." Sighing, he started to rummage around in a pile of books until he found a sheet of paper that was covered in illiterate squiggles. "Here we go," he announced as he walked back to the group, "this was written by one of the vampiric guardians two centuries ago. Coincidentally, he was the Guardian of Water at the time. He wrote this for future generations of guardians. It's basically an instruction manual. It tells you were to direct your energy to preform stronger attacks, where to hit with a shard of ice to incapacitate your foe, and many more things like that," handing it to Aloriana he continued, "It also tells you how to use Pagos to the fullest extent. Consider it my welcome gift."
