"I could go," Lypos stated as he twirled his staff, "I already asked Yulo, but he didn't answer me ((hint, hint))." Walking towards the gate he thought about how little he knew of them. He knew that they were evil, summoned by the Baskan, and that they could be deadly if encountered, but that was about it. Turning around and making his way back, he asked, "Do you have any information on them that I should know?"
|
Aloriana massaged her eyebrows. "Lypos, we need to go in pairs! If one of us does get paralyzed, we need someone else to be quickly on hand. We have three people. To go in pairs we need ONE MORE. In good concience I cannot let you go alone, regardless of the shadows."

((Hey, guys, I made an OOC thread that you can find here: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commun...askan-ooc.html. Another poing of interest; I'm thinking of just making the Air Guardian for me and getting it over with, and I wanted to know what you thought about that.))
Agkelos stood and admired his handiwork. The circle was complete exactly how the picture described it to be. Galos used his magic to move the demoness to the center, while Agkelos sat down in a meditative pose that the book said was necessary to the activation of the spell. Seeing Galos nod, he spoke, "Really, Galos? Do we have to?" Seeing him nod again, he stated angrily, "Do you have a request? A message or something? So long as it's not freeing you, we have to deliver your message, or do your request. It's part of custom." Waiting for her response, he and Galos sat down in position. |
"SOMEBODY SAVE ME!" Ronnie shouted, running through the halls. "OH, GOD, IT'S GOING TO EAT ME!" she cried as a large wyrn (Wild Dragon) chased after her. "HELP! I DON'T TASTE GOOD!" She yelped, sliding around a corner, not looking as she ran straight into Galos. "Ow, god." she muttered, falling backwords onto the floor. "What I hit, a brick wall?"
|
Lypos looked thoughtfully at Aloriana before deciding that he should heed her advice. "Agkelos would be the best bet, but he's busy at the moment," he stated, half to himself, "Who else would be a good choice? He's the only one I can think of." He heard faint screaming from the house, but he figured that Galos would take care of it. He waited patiently for a response, ignoring the warning bells that said that he didn't have time to waste.

(I really like this RP. It's cool)
|
Galos sighed as he saw his student run by. Wondering for a moment why she was in his house, he signaled to Agkelos. Agkelos nodded and whistled to the wyrm((is the term you should be using by the way. It's another spelling of a European dragon.)) and started speaking to it in dragon. No one but the wyrm could understand him, however. The wyrm looked longingly at Ronnie, before sighing and responding to Agkelos.
Agkelos nodded to Galos before whistling to the wyrm. He asked the wyrm why it was chasing Ronnie, in what would sound like gibberish to anyone that was not a dragon. The dragon responded that it had not had a proper meal in days, but reluctantly agreed that she wouldn't taste better than charcoaled sheep. Agkelos promised that he would bring a huge feast of charcoaled steak and sheep, if the dragon would return to its den. He then turned and walked into the house as the dragon flew off. |
Ronnie panted in the corner of the room. "H-hello, sir." she siad sheepishly at Galos. "I was, um, going to the library to do that work you wanted me to, and then this dragon came out of no where and started chasing me." she stood up, her hands behind her back. "Um, speaking of work, I haven't had a chance to do that yet, so can I get a little more time on that, sir?" she asked, looking hopeful at him.
In truth, she just had kept putting it off, but Galos didn't need to know that, did he? She had actually gone to go play with the dragons and run into a hungry one, but she wasn't going to mention it. |
"I'm not sure I can give you much more time," Galos answered with a wink to Agkelos, "It was due three days ago. Though, if you did an exemplary report on the diversity of dragons, we could probably raise your grade." Smiling he waited for her answer, but was struck with a sudden idea. "If you want, Agkelos could help. He does owe me for burning one of my books awhile back."
"Hey! I told you that was an accident," Agkelos stated indignantly, "I thought I already payed you back anyway." With a huff, he decided that if she needed it, he would help. After all, he reasoned, I am part dragon. ((Thanks for the compliment! This is the first rp I've ever made, so it means a lot to me.)) |
She stared at Galos. "The Diversity of Dragons?" she rubbed her temples, feeling a very sarcastic comment coming that she couldn't stop. "Yes, that's a lovely idea, make me write a complex report instead of the other one, a simple book report. That's perfectly fair." she muttered to herself. "Yes sir. I'll go do that now." she said, nodding to him.
She headed towards the door, but stopped. "Um...sir? Did I forget to mention that there was more than 1 dragon after me? And that we passed the library on the way here?" she asked, the smell of burning paper hitting her nose. Oh, she was in SO much trouble. "Gotta go!" she shouted, heading towards the grounds. |
Agkelos sighed as he stood. "I'll go put it out," he said with a huff as he walked towards the library, humming in dragonsong as he walked. It was a habit of his, humming dragonsong when he had to do work. He remembered when he was cooking, he would hum dragonsong and tick his friends, the other Crystal Guardians, off. He missed them desparately and for awhile, it seemed as though he would never come out the shell he had created, but he had come out at least a little bit. When he reached the library, he gruffly told the dragons to beat it before he made them for dinner, and absorbed the flame into his body. He'd have to release the energy later, or he would end up cooked inside out, but he wasn't too worried. He was part dragon after all.
|
Ronnie panted, laughing to herself. She had climbed up the ivy on the side of the building onto the roof. "God, Galos is gonna kill me later when he finds out those books he gave me got caught in the fire." she laughed more. "Man, it's a wonder that he hasn't kicked me out yet, seeing as I never do any of my work." she closed her eyes, feeling the sunlight on her.
She pulled out her wand, looking it over. Pointing it to the sky, she whispered a spell, sending a shot of gold and silver into the sky. "Still can't do that right." she muttered. She rolled over, closing her eyes. "Hope I don't fall asleep up here again, or I might fall." she said, yawning. "Again." (Hey, I have to go to bed. I'll see you tomorrow?) |
Galos sighed as his student walked outside and he heard a thump from the roof. She had a lot of potential, but she just didn't seem to care about her studies. He had chuckled at her sarcastic comment, however they never seemed to end. It was like she was made out of sarcasm. Sighing once more, he waited for the noble demoness's request and for Agkelos to return, so that the spell could be finished.
((Hey, guys, I'm just going to make the air guardian, okay? If you have any objections with that decision, don't hesitate to tell me. Another thing, I put a link to the OOC in a previous post. If you want to check it out, the link is on page 12, near the bottom.)) |
Ronnie yawned, rolling over. Big mistake. She gripped onto the edge of the roof, swinging. "Oh, crap!" she cried out, feeling her fingers slip. She fell, rolling as she hit the ground. She held her side in pain, slowly standing up. "Oh, god, that's the last time I fall asleep on the roof! I just have to ask Galos where my room is." she muttered, leaning against the wall.
She groaned as she walked towards the library. "Maybe theres a First-Aid book in there that ISN'T burnt." she muttered. |
Megan sighed as she walked out of a portal, she had changed slightly. Her hair was longer as well as her ears, showing that she grew her magic. "That was a nice break. I wounder if anyone remembers me in town" she said as she walked out of an alley way and pulling her hat over her ears.
|
Ronnie was laying down on the floor of the library. She had wrapped her side in a make-shift bandage and was trying to slep. "Does this place always smell of burned paper, or is that from yesterday?"
|
Theikos growled as his servants reported that the demoness had been captured and Megan had disappeared from her room again. The demoness was going to have to be freed. Sending out a telepathic signal, he told all of the remaining shadow warriors to attack and rescue Runa.
Galos sighed as he heard his student cry out and walk off. She was probably heading towards the library to find a first-aid book. He slowly started to cast the spell that would hold the demoness, making sure to pronounce the words clearly. Agkelos could help with this, but Galos had told him to leave and help his fellow Guardians hunt down the shadow warriors. Agkelos sighed as he exited the house. He found his fellow Guardians outside of the house, a few feet away. Galos had been adamant about him helping in the shadow warrior hunt. He walked up and asked, "Who am I going with?" |
"There, now we have four people," Lypos said to Aloriana, "now we can go hunt down the shadow warriors." Drawing his weapon, he waited to see who would go with who.
"March, maggots, march!" X shouted to his troops. He was training the newest recruits for the upcoming war that was sure to follow. He was also one of Theikos's most trusted allies. He had trained all of the living troops that had joined the Baskan, except for those that wanted to become mages. Currently, he was making sure that the troops could march in formation successfully. It would take a month before they were ready for the battlefield, but it would definitely be worth it. Watching his troops, he waited until they finished the exercise, so that he could continue with training. |
Tali sighed as she made her way towards Galos's house. She needed to ask him a question about an assignment that he had given the class yesterday. It was due in two days, but that would be plenty of time. Seeing Agkelos, she waved before making her way to the door, but before she could knock Agkelos had pulled her away. "You can't go in there," he said, "Galos is busy casting a complicated spell. You can come with us though and when we come back, Galos should be finished." Tali nodded and walked with Agkelos back to the group.
((I made the air guardian by the way.:))) |
Aloriana looked at the now assembled group. "Agekelos, you go with Lypos to balance your power. Yulo and I have worked together in the past, so we can certainly do that. Tali, it would be best if you came with us I think as I am inexperienced as a guardiand and may therefore require some additional magical help, it would be the best way to balance this group. Yulo, you take air for us, Tali and I can scour the ground. Agkelos, you might want to consider using a similar formation. Tali, is there anyway you can find these shadows magically?"
|
"No, they're magically resistant, but I can sense them if we get close enough," Tali said to Aloriana. Agkelos had squatted down and burned a square in the ground.
"They're going to attack the city at some point, so I think that we should start at opposite sides of the city and go clockwise around it," he stated burning arrows that showed what he meant around the square, "Any objections?" The shadow warriors responded to Theikos's telepathic command. The leader, one that was slightly larger than the others, signaled them to stop and wait. Using the shadows from the trees to see their destination, he waited patiently for the group to leave. |
"I don't have any objections," Lypos stated in response to Agkelos's question, "After all, you, Aloriana, and Yulo are the most experienced." He sat down with his back to a tree while waiting for the others to give their two cents.

((i dont know what to do, you people godmodded yourselves into making me not be able to move, i must have died of dehydration by now))
|
((You know, they asked you if you had a request, a message to be delivered, ect. Why don't you work on that? Personally I would request that they go deliver a message to *this* location which is an ambush that would get them killed, but that's up to you. And FWI, it isn't godmodding when you godmoded yourself into a building that should have been warded against you, full of people that are all quite powerful.))
|
(( they did? oooooh, i didnt see it D: i'm sorry i got frustrated ))
