Ronnie coughed. She had slept in the half burnt library. "God, it feels like I was chain-smoking all night!" she groaed, crawling to the door. She peaked her head out, looking around. She didn't see Galos; good sign. She stood up, and slightly limped down the hall. "Maybe I'll have some fun today!"

Runa looked up, wondering what she could make them do to get her freedom back. I need a message to be sent, my father will not be happy when he finds out that i have been captured by the crystal guardians.

The leader of the shadow warriors decided that he should strike while the time was right. Slowly extending the shadows towards the group, he used his greatest power to paralyze the victims when the shadows touched their feet. Signaling the others, he jumped into the shadow and appeared in the library where the bookshelves cast many shadows. Seeing a girl in the hallway, he had his ally attack her while she wasn't looking. He and the other warrior then jumped over her while she was occupied and made their way towards Galos and Runa.

Agkelos stood shocked as he realized that he couldn't move. "Guys, I can't move! The shadow warriors must have used their ability to paralyze with shadows," he shouted as he struggled to ignite his hand. If he could ignite his hand the shadow would be dispelled, but it seemed that his power had left him.

Tali gasped as she felt the shadow warriors appear in the house. She tried to shout a warning, but all that came out was a whisper. She heard Agkelos whisper something that sounded like, "I can't move.", but she couldn't be sure. It seemed as if the shadows had altered their spell to prevent a person from acessing their powers and from making too much noise. The Baskan must have made the leader of the shadows extremely intelligient compared to before.

runa shouted across the hall, "You know, i'm baskaaaan!!! if you let me go i could stop them!!!!"

Ronnie turned, seeing a man lunge at her with a dagger (?). She jumped back, pulling out her wand. "I don't know if you are aware, smarty, but I'm a Witch and a Vampire!" she hissed, her fangs bared. She threw herself at the attacker, biting into his neck. She almost jumped back at how horrible the man tasted. She threw him aside, spitting. "GROSS! What are you? You taste like dirt mixed with ash!"

Aloriana twitched slightly in her paralysis. "No. NO." she murmured to herself. "No, no, no, no, no. I will not be helpless, I will not be useless, nononononono. Guardian of water, guardian of water, not helpless, nonononono." She clunched her eyes shut. She woulod NOT be helpless. She couldn't use her healing, she couldn't move, she could barely speak. But blast it all, she was the guardian of water! Slowly, very slowly the water in the air around her began to bend to her will, ((OOC: worked out what is happening with Zafiri through PM, there is a reason for this.)) forming an Icy shield to block the shadow holding her in place. Suddenly her full powers came rushing back and with a wave of her hand she swept water at her allies, hoping to knock them free of the shadows holding them in place.

Runa was getting mad, she knew this couldn't be good, it was HER job to steal the crystals. She let out a haunting sonic screech, if you hadn't seen her do it, you would have thought it was an earthquake.

Ronnie fell to the ground, hearing a horifying screech. "WHAT IS THAT?!" she shouted, the ground shaking. She ran toward the noice, her wand raised. She slid to a stop in front of the door that the sound was coming from. She knocked on it, calling in. "Hey! Is anyone in there? Are you alright?!" She turned, seeing the attacker was still on the floor.

The shadow warriors had entered the room and the leader had got to work on erasing the sign on the ground while the other one knocked Galos unconcious. The sign was erased just enough for the demoness to attack, but her attack blew back the leader of the shadow warriors into the wall. While he felt his hold on the people outside weaken. Feeling desparate, he had the other shadow warrior in the room ambush the girl when she entered, while the third came up behind and he got back to work on the sign.

Agkelos sighed with relief as Aloriana knocked him out of the shadows. The paralysis was gone and he could help the others. Signaling Aloriana to check on Galos, he created a huge ball of fire in the sky that completely removed all shadows, thus freeing the others completely. He then entered the house through the back.

Tali was relieved when she could move, but instead of getting in the way, she ran towards the alarm bell in the center of the city. When she got there, she rang it in a way that meant enter your homes and lock the doors, asap. She then hid up near the bell, afraid that she would get in the way.

Runa heard all of the commotion going on outside, but suddenly the door to the room she was imprisoned in flew open. One of the shadows erased the seal that was holding her, the other bashed galos over the head, he fell down. Knowing this was the perfect moment to strike the shadows she turned her wing into a hammer of sorts and smashed the leader into the wall. There was another girl there being attacked, but she seemed to be an ally to the guardians, she payed no attention. She immediately danced around and span violently, slicing everything around her with her wings, she needed to at least try to destroy some of galos's precious books

Ronnie was about to reply when the door was opened and she was attacked again by someone new and the man who she had THOUGHT was out cold. "AHH! Oh, you guys just don't quit!" she shouted, pulling out her wand. She tried to do a parazisis spell, which sent them flying. She stared at the wand in her hand. "HA! Best remeber I can do that! I just wish I knew I could do that." she muttered, going to the girl. She kicked one of the warriors over, noticing they had an odd symbol on them. "Who are they?" she asked, pointing at the man with ehr wand. "And who are you?" she asked, a feeling of distrust falling over her.

Lypos jumped into action the second he was freed. Picking up his weapon he charged into the house and attacked the nearest shadow. While trying to repair the sign on the ground, he continuously swung at the warriors, but his concentration was divided among swinging his staff, and repairing the circle. While trying his best to hold them off, he desparately hoped for reinforcements.

The circle was almost gone when the man jumped in and attacked. He then started repairing the circle. The leader was upset, but it could be easily remedied. Putting a portion of his power into the surrounding shadows, he created six more that rose and attacked the man. The man would have no chance defeating six opponets, so the leader jumped over him and continued to erase the circle.

Tali had a bad feeling that something horrible had happened. Deciding that she could at least help a little bit, she climbed down from the bell tower and ran towards the house while drawing her sword. She wasn't very good at magic yet, but she was excellent at sword fighting. The sword trainer told her so. She stopped next to Yulo and waited for the first signs of catastrophe.

Agkelos entered cautiously through the back entrance of the library and made his way towards the room where Galos was. The second he stepped in, however, he was knocked unconcious by two shadow warriors and thrown next to Galos.

Runa was busy shredding everything into pieces when she saw Agkelos get knocked over the head and fall, "Hahahaha, these are supposed to be the defenders of good? They cant even open a door without being bashed over the head!!!" She walked over to his unconscious body and took a vial out of her bustier this time, it was where she would keep her most devastating poisons, she pulled out the cork and ALMOST spilled the whole vial into his mouth.

Tali rushed in when she felt that Agkelos was knocked unconcious. She already had her sword drawn and was slashing at the shadow warriors. She let her mind clear, striking and dodging with the grace of an expert, though she was only doing so well because of adrenaline. Soon all of the warriors had been destroyed and she spotted the demoness. She then tried sneaking up on her to put the sword in her head.

((OOC: seriously, slow is good... >.>)) Aloriana whirled and re-entered the room, seeing the demoness on a rampage in the remains of the sealing circle, which Lypos was trying to fix. Her eyes narrowed as the demoness approached Agekelos and she reached out a hand and clenched it, drawing all the water condensation in the area to surround her in a fraglie ice shell, not enough to hold her for long, but long enough that she could begin to freeze her very blood, the plasma in which her organs were suspended, every shred of the moisture that pervaded her body. As a healer, she knew exactly where best to strike.

Runa was about to use her necrophilica poison, it took her 5 years to succesfully make it, she took out the vial, only to be frozen by the water guardian and another girl with a sword about to strike her.

Tali was shocked out of her concentration when the demoness became frozen. Her sword was already on it's way down, but she accidentally angled her slash and hit the hand with the vial. The vial flipped up into the air before falling and smashing harmlessly on the ground. She then kneeled down next to Agkelos and shook him. His eyes fluttered open and he shot up when he saw the demoness.

Agkelos shot up when he saw the demoness. Building a ball of fire in his hand, he stopped when he saw that she was frozen solid. There were cracks already forming, probably due to his careless fire generation. Sighing he grabbed Tali and pulled her away from the demoness while he drew his sword.

Lypos saw that the demoness was frozen and that the shadow warriors were gone. He felt horrible for failing at keeping the demoness trapped, but he was overwhelmed by the warriors. Dropping into an offensive stance, he prepared to attack if she showed any signs of hostility.

((Does anyone know what happened to Iori? He hasn't posted in a long time, so I was wondering if he got sick or something.))

Megan sighed as she walked around town to see only normal people. "Wow, I must be getting better at hiding my aura. Sweet" she said smiling and waving to other people every so often, she need to seem normal to be hidden. "Wounder if my circles are still here, I should check." She said to herself as she started down a more deserted street.

((Sorry, have had an... interesting time at school lately, final year projects and all that. Anyone feel like giving me a recap on what I missed in 10 pages of posts o.O))

Agkelos stood in front of Tali protectively. The demoness would probably be angry at her for ruining the poison. His sword was giving off minor heat waves, but the ice was too thin to hold her for long anyway. He saw Lypos on the other side of the demoness with his weapon drawn, Galos was lying at his feet, and Aloriana looked like she was trying to maintain the ice that surrounded her. He still couldn't believe that he was almost killed by the demoness. His friends had been killed by the leader of the Baskan, but he didn't have a clue who that was. The ice was cracking more and more as time went on and he hoped that she wouldn't succeed in killing his allies.

Runa was frozen, but the ice was pretty thin, it stopped her only for a moment when the fire guaridan heated up and melted most of it off, she broke out of it, her poison was ruined and she was furious, she was surrounded by all of them, she span around extremely fast and extended her wings, trying to at least get out of the middle.

Lypos swung his staff toward the demoness's head, but his staff was deflected by the spinning wings. He then tried to create a rock to throw at her, but the rock was destroyed by her spinning body and threw him back into the bookshelves. He was about to get up when he realized he had dropped his staff which lay underneath the demoness's spinning form. Crawling, so as to avoid the wings of death, he inched closer and closer to the staff. Come on, he thought desparately, don't slice me into little bits.
