Paige shook her head, "Im not putting anyone in danger....ever"
Suddenly her eyes widened again as the voice of her master appeared in her head, 'sweet pet how can you care for these people, they will kill you when the get the chance, you just a silly girl come back to me!'
Paige yelped and fell backward onto the floor shaking violently

"Paige!" Kaer'lic yelled, surprised. He went over to her and tried to calm her down so she would stop shaking. "Paige, what's wrong?" Kaer'lic asked her.

Daphne gasped "oh my gosh" she drops her drink and the glass shatters

"N-Nothing, i just thought i heard something...." she looked around fearing she would see her master any second, thinking of him only made her shake more. 'daphnes the only one who knows and if i can help it thats how it will stay' she thought, she looked at kaer'lic and then looked down, closing her eyes she whispered, "your not my master anymore! stay away from here, im not your pet, you dont own me!"

'stupid girl! youll see you have no choice to come back when all your friends are killed!'

"drat i made a mess" Daphne cleans up the broken glass and spilled beer hoping it will slightly distract the others in the bar

Satoshi looked down at Daphne,"Your staying at our safe house for now. If your master comes he'll have to deal with us first. Free of charge of course."

"he is right you shouldn't stay at the inn" cleaning up the last of the spill

"NO! i have to face him my self! i cant let you guys get hurt!" she looked down, "no one can stop him..."
'right you are pet right you are, but if you try to stop me ill kill you and all of your friends, i can easily find another pet'
Paige looked at Daphne, "I have to stay there, my bag is in there" she thought of the silver dagger hidden in her room

"you could stay with me for tonight i dont sleep so i can keep guard" she sits back down

"Fine, but if your staying alone take this." Satoshi handed her one of his desert eagles.

"Be careful, that gun has a hell of a kick back."

she looked at daphne, "ill stay with you but im staying awake too" she turned to Kaer'lics friend, "i dont need that, im a vampire i can fight without a gun" she tipped her head, "who are you anyway?"

"okay we will get you bag and you will stay with me"

"Yeah, and I'm a demon, but I still use a gun." Satoshi said a bit too harsh.

Paige narrowed her eyes at him, 'hes a bit mean' she thought, she got up the voices finally stopping allowing her to calm down and stop shaking, she pushed a piece of hair away from her pale face, "who are you?" she semi-growled.

"I'm Satoshi, leader of the bounty hunters, and you must be Paige."

"Yes i am Paige, er, nice to meet you Satoshi, umm how do you know me? ive never met you before." she looked at him curiously.

"When you rented a room at the inn your profile was entered into our data base." Satoshi took a swig from his beer.

"i didnt know i had a profile, well.. then you must know i was a captive of the head vampire from my hometown?"

"Me and Kaer'lic know everything there is to know about you, other than your personal stuff."

'thats weird' she thought but she didnt dare say it out loud, "Then you dont know much" Paige stared at him and then looked around the bar.

"Listen your not leaving town until your masters head his mounted on my wall, OK?" Satoshi put his gun back in its holster.

Her green eyes blazed with minute fury then she looked at him, "why protect me? i dont really even belong here"

"Yeah, and who's to say that? Your not the only one with these kind of issues."

"You're in the town, you live here. So you belong here, with the rest of us. Why go back to a life you don't even like?" Kaer'lic asked. Curiosity taking him over.

She looked at Satoshi, "True but you dont know much about me if you dont know the personal stuff." then looking at Kaer'lic, "Even if i left here i wouldnt go back there"
