"no not that i know of" Usada lied looking away. "it was nice meting you Azur. " he didn't want Azur to examine his face to much in fear of being recognized. "but i get that alot people, mush have an genaric face i guess" he said smiling.
he felt a little bad for lying, but he fared for his own skin. if he hadn't made a mistake and it was the demon he would try to kill him before Uasda got powerful enough to reseal him. |
"Oh, I see. You just look so familiar." He shrugged and grinned sligthly, before something hit him. He wrinkled shortly his brow in thought. "I didn't catch your name?" It could had been an accident, so he just shrugged of the thought.
Certainly the hair had the same colour, as the hair he saw in his last minute. But there could wander people around with purple hair, it was just pretty rare. |
"usada" he said looking at his feet. he knew his name sounded similar to the priestess's but it wasn't the same. he hoped he wouldn't be fond out his Ankle wasn't trobbing just slightly uncomfortable. if he needed to run he would.
"i know its a little famine sounding but i guess it fits me i use to be taken for a girl all the time" he said jokingly. oh how he hoped not to get found out. he got to his fet just in case, it stung slightly but he thought he could manage a dash. |
Blinking at the closeness to the priestess, he smiled. "That's a pretty name," he said, still smiling. Then he took a closer look at the male's clothes. Of course, the only 'holy' clothes he had seen was on a priestess, so he couldn't quite tell they were the same. He wasn't all that pleased by the seal growing weaker, he actually liked being a human, but still, if you once tasted power, you would remember it and long for more.
Laughing at his joke, he shrugged at the same time. "Yea, you could be a very flat woman, now you are saying it." It was true, he was quite feminine in build. But he had seen more womanly males. |
Usada laughed. he really hoped he was wrong. he liked this guy he didn't want to have to fight him one day. he looked at him and smiled. "maybe thay would be a funny way to travel then no one would recognize me" he said with a a laugh.
it was common knowledge to those in the holy community that the demon's seal was weakening. thay was why they had pulled Usada from his home at the base of the mountain. the priest who took care of him said that it was not fate that had made him, a spitting image of the priestess, to be born so close to the place she died. he wished he would have never known. he was young when they fond him but she still wanted to be a normal boy. |
He nodded slightly. "Yeah, but then you would have to look out for shady men." He frowned at the thought. Shady men wasn't his favorite person type, he really hated the feeling of being looked at without knowing who did it.
He had a little presentation anxiety. Actually quite funny if you thought over he was a full blooded demon, who had loved the sensation of feeling peoples fear. He shuddered quietly at the thought. |
"true enough" he said l he lied looking back at the house. he wanted to say and this wasn't were he was staying. "anyway i should go soon" he said nodding to the house. "i hope we met again" he then began to head to the house. he didn't think anyone was home but he still didn't want to go in if it was possible to avoid it.
as a priest he could easily make an excuse and would welcomed. most people liked when a priest visited. he'd preform a blessing and then really be on his way back to the house he was really staying in. |
"Oh," His eyes saddened a little, before he lighted up again. "Then bye, it was nice to meet you!" He watched until he was sure, he could get up there. Before he humming went back into the forest. He couldn't shake of the feeling of knowing him.
Reaching the start of the forest, he looked back, before he went inside. He dodged a low hanging stick and went deeper inside using the small forest path. He tried not to fall and reached his sack in nearly no time. Skipping happily over the little stream, he picked it up, after making sure everything was there, and sat down under a tree. "I don't have anthing I need to do." He said laughing. |
Usada headed back to the stream when the demon was out of sight. he needed to get the buckets for his punishment. he had left them by the stream when he ad seen the blood in the water. he felt sneaky for going around the demon.
when he got there he refilled them and walked back his ankle swollen and throbbing painfully. he stood up with the heave buckets and carried them back swearing under his breath. he was going to get an earful tonight. he could already hear the priests and the occasional priestess bugging him about how careless he was to sprain it.. |
Leaning back against the tree trunk, he fell to the side, looking up at the green leaves waving in the wind. It was really peacefully. Sighing happily, he closed his eyes, just listening to the birds.
(( Brainfart oÔ )) |
((I Know the feeling i can't think of anything eather >.<))
"that was very reckless of you Usada" the priest scolded "you could have fallen some where and...." Usada had stopped paying attention and was daydreaming. he felt bad because he wanted to met the nice human Azur again but didn't want to be near the scary demon. a book in the hear snapped him out of his thoughts. "Priest Usada did you hear a word i said?" he ranted angrily. "'you could have fallen some where and broken a leg, starved and died. then who would seal the demon again. you shouldn't be so careless with your life usada. you will be as great if not greater then you former life' then you hit me with a book and asked if i heard you" Usada said being a smart ass. |
(( Yeah, me too xD ))
Ah! The sky, the sounds of birds singing, the trees leaves rustling in the wind, something big coming my way, he thought lazily, before opening his eyes, something big? He sat up, to look around rapidly. He didn't like big things as a human. Because of his wolf smell, most kind animals fleed from him, while angry animals thought he could be an intruder. Thus, they liked to attack him sometimes. It made him be quite nervous. Hearing sniffles and rustling in some bush, he closed his eyes. Don't let it be a bear, don't let it be a bear! He chanted inside. Bears and wolves weren't that good friends, just like wolves and fox's... and wolves and dogs. Actually wolves weren't that good friends with anybody. Opening a eye, he got met by a frozen brown furball. "Oh, a bear child!" He said modest, slowly raising from his seat. "Where's your mom little one?" He said kindly, not that he actually wanted to now. Seeing a bear child usually meant that the parents where around somewhere. And they got kind of furious if you found their child. So, having this in mind, he collected his stuff, the bear sitting and staring at him curious, and backed away. To back up in something furry. Reaching out and feeling the fur, he closed his eyes again. "Please let it be a very, very big rabbit!" He muttered slowly, before turning and staring up in a scarred bear face. He stepped backwards at the wild look in the bears eyes, then various thing to do ran through his mind: Play dead! No! Climb a tree! Climb a tree and play dead? He gulped slightly. Then the bear roared loudly. |
Usada heard the bear roar and turned his head to the forest. "strange Bears don't usually call out" the head priest said looking out as well. Usada got to his feet and ran to the noise. the bear was advancing on someone. he didn't pay close enough attention as to who it was only that a human was in danger of being eaten.
"het fuzz face over here" he yelled tossing a rock at the bear. he planed to use a trick he had learned while studying spiritual powers. the power to calm beast however that required eye contact with the beast and meditation. he could clear his mind long enough to calm it to the point of nonaggression without full meditation. |
When the bear roared he did the only thing he could do, flop down on ground and lay stiff. Surely he smelled of wolf, but bears were rumored to let dead thing be alone. He really, really hoped the rumors where true, because as a demon, he was terrified of death. Not just terrified, he was shaking in his pants.
Looking up, when he heard a yell and saw the boy from before, a few flashes of the past hurried before his inner eyes. Purple hair swaying in the wind as he gave the priestess a vital hit, the blue eyes shining with power as she sealed him and the last: The moment he woke up as a human to find her body beside him, still as beautiful in death as she was in life. He had been quite... intrigued by the priestess as a demon, how she kept managing to dissapear when he came close. Of course he had could feel the large waves of holy emitting from her, it made him disgusted and attracted to her. And as a demon, he longed for what he couldn't have, in this example - the priestess. It was also curiousity that lead to his sealing. She had been emitting a even bigger wave of energy, which had made him turn up - in his human form. She had been talking a lot, he remembered, couldn't remember what she said. But it made him stay. Then, as she got close enough, her face turned to stone and she sealed him, betraying the trust he had put on him. It didn't hurt as much as he thought. |
the bear turned to him and Usada smiled his eyes glowing lightly and his hair standing on end. "please leave. he won't hurt you or your cub" his voice rang with holy energy. he wasn't as powerful as his past self however he still had strength. the bear's eyes fashed the same blue as Usada's before lowering to all fours and walking away. its cub fallowed its mother away.
Usada fell to his knees that was the most energy he had used in a long time and he was exasted. he took a few deep breaths before seeing if Azur was okay. he got up and shook the demon lightly. "are you okay?" he asked softly. he was worried about him even thought he was the demon that had lead to her/his death. |
