I stared down at the earth with boredom. I always saw the same thing, day after day. One half of the world and then the other, a bucnch of white swirls over a blue ball, thats all it is. I can see the other planets, uninhabited, lonely and desolate. Why was this? If I could keep life at a planet lightyears away going why were none of the others living?

Everytime I felt bored or angry I always thought this. Why was I confined to this lonely stretch in space providing heat and light for all these planets when only one used it. I was always so hot even when others complained it cold. I was always nearly blinded by the light I produce even when others say its dark.

Well I am sick of it! Why be the brightest star in the sky if no-one cares you exist, if everyone critisizes the way I work. Well if they want it dark I will give them darkness. If they want it cold I will give them cold!

I am the sun! No-one treats me like this and gets away with it!

"Its because your the brightest star in our solar system and every person in those worlds looks up to you"
" None of us hate you we love you and we all want to help you but i know how you feel"
" I am the smallest star in the universe and nobody cares about me they just look at the stars that make up orians belt or stupid scorpio but they never not even once look at me even if i flew the sky as close as i could they would all think that i am some stupid bird or a plane i dont even care."

I looked at Pinkie. She was right, she was the samllest star in the solar system, people never noticed her, but they never took her for granted. She wasn't keeping a whole palnet alive.

"Well I don't care! I am going to stop heating planet earth! They can go and live without light and heat! I am going to stop shining!" I said angrily and with one powerful sweep I went dark. The whole solar system suddenly plunged into darkness and the only lights to be seen were tiny pinpricks that were pinkie and her family.

"There. Thats better. Lets see how the Earth copes now!"

"Don't do that dont be stupid common those people need you way more than the need us "

Pinkie looked down at the Earth and she could her them screaming in terror. She frowned and started to cry.

I looked down at the earth. I wasn't prepared to let them all freeze. ut then again I wasn't prepared to save them all and go back to my life the life of the mug, thats all it was.

"People take me fro granted. I am going to leave them for a day or two, to see how life is without me. Then I will heat them up again, sure a few lives may be lost but they need to realise the sun is a priveledge, not a right. Please don't cry Pinkie," I said

" I am sorry i cant stop the screaming just reminds me of how my friend died"

" it was a cold day like it always is in space and i was talking to her and she said she was feeling like she was going to burst. Of course i didnt believe her but then she started screaming just like them. She didnt stop until she burst and thats how we lost the plant
Pesta. Its all my fault i should have saved her i should of."

Pinkie burst into tears and every star around the universe could her her sad sounds crying and crying

I looked at Pinkie. I felt terrible, I never meant for her to feel so bad but these people had to learn. Maybe freezing them wasn't the right idea though. Myabe burning them would be better? She would leave them for a day, while they cursed this coldness, then she would move forwards in the sky and brighten back up!

"DOn't worry Pinkie, they won't scream forever, I will warm them up tomorrow, but they need to learn!"

Pinkie looked at the world and how cold it was. She started at it for a while then turned around and said, " I'll be fine i guess but you should do it quickly before it comes"

"I will unfreeze them tomorrow and Burn them the next day. Those stupid humans have to realise that they can't take the sun for granted, I am here giving them life and then they don't even say thank you. Why should I keep those stupid bags of skin and bone alive? Why is is suddenly my job? I never wanted to be the biggest star in the sky. I wanted to be like you. But I grew big. Bigger than you and bigger than anyone else. Why?"

"Its because you were meant to be the sun and nobody else was you were meant to be one of the biggest stars in the world because they new you could handle the day you were born they knew that u would be the sun they just knew it."


Even though Pinkie was smiling on the outside in the inside she was saying just tell her tell her that its coming don't wait until it comes dont do it.

"Oh one more thing sun i have to tell you that if you mess up the solar system the Higher People will send the red dragon to kill you so as i said before hurry up with your lesson."

"The Red dragon. They won't send them to kill me. it would take to long to grow another sun and they could get enough power as me so that the whole human race would die anyway. I can make my lesson last as long as I want but as long as there is at least one human left I can live!"

"Well then false alarm. You know my grandpa was a sun he exploded though and it was sad but i didnt cry because i was stronger than i was now."

The little star looked at the sun and she saw something inside of her that was so dark and sad.
The little star didnt know what to do should she comfort her or leave her alone. Well she didnt know so she just sat on the moon and watched her.

So finally the next day the sun lighted up the Earth and there was no screaming only tears of joy. From that day forward every human being and animal only thanked the sun and never were mean to her. For the rest of their lives Pixie and the sun were best friends. Every time the sun got angry Pixie would cry and every time that Pixie cried cheered her up. And Pixie would always sit on the moon they would talk for days on end. Every time they ran out of things to say little Pixie would go up to a childs room go back to the sun and they would talk about it. And that was what they did for the Rest of there lives.
