Bright sunshine poked it's way relentlessly through the dark gray clouds of previous hours. The streets, wet with a fresh rain from the night before, seemed somehow interesting and sparkly, as if someone had run through and doused the whole place with a fine coating of glitter. No one seemed to notice in this city, however. People continued on their ways, talking with anger on their cell phones or, more frequently, making their way through the streets as if they were dead. Their worlds revolved around only themselves, and that was all. If Boro had learned anything while being alive, it was that people weren't very kind to one another. Unless, of course, it was Christmas time. And this wasn't Christmas time.
Chapped lips parted in order to remove a cigarette, which dangled between two finger for a brief moment as smoke came from his mouth. It was then quickly replaced for another drag. People really were awful. Boro had long ago tried his hardest to have nothing to do with them; something seemingly impossible in today's world. He hated it. Everything revolved around money, which was obtained through connections or working. Without a social security number work wasn't a viable option, and the only connections Boro had were teenage kids who liked to use his run-down apartment as a hiding place and a whiny-ass mafia don who was drunk and high more than Boro was angry and bitter. Hard to believe, but true. The werewolf dropped his cancer-stick to the floor, stepping on it with his boot. An attempt to nibble at a finger nail that was already bitten down the the quick gave way to a realization to Boro. He was bored.
Perhaps not 'bored', but he certainly wasn't having fun. He rarely came out anymore, not since the first of those New World Vampires appeared. To be honest, Boro didn't much like vampires. The only one he could really stand was well-aways now, having 'council' with some important blood-sucking creature of the freaking night. There wasn't much to like, after all. They weren't nice, their teeth were funny, and they liked the taste of blood.
"Freaks" Boro grumbled, holding another cigarette in between his lips as he fumbled around his pockets for his lighter. The lighter wouldn't be needed, however, for a loud crash and several screaming people lead Boro to venture out of the shadowed safety of his alley-way to take a peek at just what had stopped him from giving himself further lung damage.

Sky was sitting on a bench stationed near her shop, of course she was bored, who wasnt? She had no boyfriend, no friends, no life. She was just some pathetic little southern girl stuck in the city trying to make ends meat to pay the rent for an appartment the size of a shoe box, what a wonderful life.
THe crash of course startled her she immediately made it to her feet and raced down the street to find someone smokeing, of course she plucked the cigarette out of his hand, she needed one and badly. Pulling her silver lighter out she struck it, the fire danced in erotic ways, this pleased her, shortly after lighting it's end she took a long hard drag "what happened?" she asked looking up at the gentleman from whom the cigarette was taken, of course she handed it back, she wasnt heartless.
Sky was beautiful, but not like the typical beauty you see roaming the city streets, she had light orange hair dark brown eyes with slightly discolouration to her right eye. Or was it her left? she couldnt quite remember, how long has it been since she owned a mirror? She had a magnificant body which was always hidden under baggy boring clothes, but today she had her typical shirt open showing off her new white and green camisol.

Boro glared at the young woman who had just taken his cancer-stick, frowning. But his attention was only removed from the scene for a moment, for a mere cigarette does not a multicar-crash make. "I think they crashed. But you know, I have no idea." He said, accepting his cigarette back to take a drag, keeping it in for a moment before releasing it slowly, as if breathing away any worry he had been harboring over the crash. "Ya want one?" He asked, waving the cylinder-shaped paper tube in the air before placing it back in his mouth.
"'Ere." He offered after a moment, holding the pack out to her. "You know, there's gotta be a reason they crashed. People don't suck at driving around here; they barely go anywhere anyway there's so much traffic." He added.
"Prolly a stupid cat or something." He mumbled. Or a vampire.
Boro took this opportunity to look at the young woman standing before him. She was nice looking, there was no doubt. Good looking people always made Boro nervous. He had never been that handsome to begin with, and although he had once been married to a woman not to much older than the woman before him, that had been long, long ago. And now with the addition of scars, age and the general lack of caring about his image, Boro was never the best looking person in a situation. He frowned, running his hand through his messy gray-black hair, letting it fall back into his face. His silver eyes scanned the people, most of whom had fallen quiet and were watching the site of the crash with anticipation. Most of them seemed worried, while others confused.
" 'm Boro." He spoke after a long moment of silence, half expecting the young woman to be gone, another person gone or simply a figment of his imagination.

she smiled took a cigarette and lit it's end, she placed it between her full lips to take a drag, when she released the smoke she smiled looking up at him "you have some hair" she gently laughed to herself pushing the hair away from his eyes, which she found absolutely intoxicating, she hadnt met anyone quite like him before "my name is Skyler but you can call me Sky, i'd prefer it if you would" when she spoke her voice was like velvet.
"probably some stupid vampire crossing the street" she huffed to herself, she found it interesting how people could live in harmony with someone who fed on them, she preferred to surround herself of those who were still living, of those whom she could trust. Simply, werewolves. She loved them and never wanted them to leave "they dont care about anyone but themselves" she growled taking another puff from the stick.
he was handsome, she'd admit that but, he wouldnt be interested in her, there had to be at least a two years different from their ages and some men found that distasteful "or some dumbass crossing the street without looking, i've seen that happen alot more lately" she laughed to herself imagining some old drunk walking out into rush-hour traffic "what brings you to the big bad city" she asked in what could have sounded like a seductive voice to any person but her.

Glancing up at the top of his head as she spoke, Boro didn't quite understand if 'you have some hair' was a compliment or an insult. He took it to be positive, however, for she laughed and smiled. "Nice to meet you Sky." Skyler seemed like a nice name to begin with, Boro wondered why she would want to be called something else.
Boro rolled his eyes at the mention of vampires. "Redicilous. You'd think with all their magical superpowers they'd be able to look both ways when crossing a street." He sighed a bit, looking over towards the crowd. "I liked them a lot more when they couldn't go in the sun, ya know?"
Taking another long drag, he closed his eyes and let the smoke curl slowly out of his mouth. "What brings me here? Eh; I've lived here a while. Piece of crap apartment down...other side of town. Can't afford much else, ya know? As it is the hot water's shut off." He spoke, dropping his hand down to his side and smiling a bit. "Something about a heating bill, I think." he added, his smile widening to a grin.
"Anyways, what about you? I can see insane people and loser like myself here, but you look pretty normal. How'd you come to live here?"
((That was really short and really really late. lol. Sorry about that.))

"you had some hair in your eyes i'm sorry if you didnt like me touching you" she laughed a little taking the last drag of her cigarette and throwing it to the ground. She yawned long and wide saying in a non-chalant voice "i was a high school run away who found herself in this hellhole" she laughed again, this time it was nervous and unstable.
"if you need a hot shower you can use mine" she offered to him while looking up at him, his eyes were absolutely beautiful she could not get over it and somehow he looked familiar, she tilted her head then finally something clicked, she shook her head to dismiss the idea but when she did the thought only pushed back with more force, like a tight rubberband when you stretch it, it goes far, but then releasing it is the dangerous thing, it'll snap you when you're leas expecting it. She knew he couldnt be one, she studied werewolves on her free time and could recognize the classic signs of one, but somehow she doubted that Boro was one, for some strange reason she couldnt come to terms with labeling the man, even though he was interesting maybe she was wrong, maybe her insticts had yet again failed her.
"can I ask you a question?" she whispered pulling herself closer to him, she leaned up as well as she could whispering in his ear "what're your feelings about werewolves?" her question was well phrased but too quick, she knew he'd flee from her thinking she was no better then the fang bangers.

Looking down at the cigarette still in his hand, he frowned slightly. It was almost gone, only briefly smoked with little enjoyment recieved from it. "We've all been there, right?" He offered. "Most of the people I know around here are running from something." Boro added, more to himself he supposed than to Sky. She seemed so nonchalunt about her past, something Boro envied. He rarely spoke about it, although he had to admit that he thought about it daily. Taking one more final drag from the cigarette, he let it fall to the ground, watching it for a moment.
"Really?" He lifted his gaze from the cancer-stick, which he promptly stepped on. "I may just have to take you up on that." The last hot shower Boro had taken was too long ago to remember the details, although he did remember that it had not been his house, and work had been involved somehow. To be honest, he was tired of taking cold showers. He just counted himself lucky that it wasn't winter, and the heat wouldn't need to be used. Boro hated it.
She seemed to be looking at him intently, as if something about him intreged her. Boro glanced away, shuffleing his feet nervously for a moment. The last time someone had looked at him like that, things hadn't ended well. His lips curled into a slightl awkward smile as he kept his eyes on her. "So...uh..."
As soon as the question left her lips Boro knew he was in trouble. He could go about this in two ways. He could tell the truth; he hated werewolves. They caused nothing but trouble, just like vampires but without the decency to actually tell the world who they were. He was a coward, as was everyone else like him. Or he could tell her he was sympathetic to them...or he could...
"I don't know if I like them. I have....experience that tells me to feel sorry for them. But anything that hides and shows it's face only during a full moon to cause such damage....seems cowardly and spineless." He offered, looking back down at his pack of cigarettes. He could really go for one right about now, but his heart was already beating fast and his brain was racing around. The last thing he needed was another one.
"W...What about you?" he asked, offering the pack to Sky. Boro seemed to think everyone in the world was a chain-smoker like him.

she took one then smiled she opened ther lighter and lit the end of the tube "come with me" she said to him after pulling the cigarette away, she lightly grabbed his wrist and pulled him about two blocks down the street then into the shop she worked at. She let out an almost inaudible sigh and stared up at him "you lied" she wasnt happy, but she wasnt mad.
"Tell the truth" she told him "I've read and seen enough vampires to know what you are" After she spoke she took a long drag "i think your kind is admirable" she murmured pulling out a large book filled with historical facts about them, about where they originated then how.
When she looked up at him again her eyes had to refocus on his features, this made her blush, she found him attractive but at the same time slightly annoying from the fact that he'd lied to her. She wouldnt slap him nor yell at him, just pry the truth from him.
While sky flipped through pages upon pages of pictures she stopped on one looking like Boro but in the arms of a woman more beautiful than sky felt she was. She blushed deeply while puffing at her cancer-stick she compared the characteristics, and there was no mistaking it, it was boro alright but much younger "is.. this your wife..?" she asked feeling rather idiotic for flirting with him.

Boro allowed himself to be pulled forward and into the shop, looking around. It seemed nice, he supposed. Not a place he himself would like to work, but at least a place that wouldn't suck. He reminded himself that working in an actual store didn't suit him; he prefered more 'freelance' work. When she spoke, Boro seemed surprised.
"Lied? I didn't lie. I really, actually don't like werewolves. Just because I am one doesn't mean I have to like them." He explained, trying to hold back laughter when she spoke of werewolves being 'admirable'. "I don't consider myself admirable. I turn into a monster once a month and go on a killing rampage." He added, glancing over at the book Sky was looking at.
He looked to her, smiling slightly. She was beautiful; her features reminded him of someone. He quickly moved the thoughts out of his mind, telling himself that either she was taken or she would never fall in love with someone so old and scared. And yet, a part of him couldn't help but hope...
His eyes moved to the picture in the book, and he felt his heart sink. "I didn't think that illastration would have survived..." he murmered. His eyes met with his past-self's, moving slowing towards his once wife. He missed her; time seemed to have not healed this wound just yet. Nor did he expect it to; not after what he had done. Alecia had deserved better, not someone who was going to end up the death of them....
He hesitated briefly before answering Sky. "Alecia. Her name was Alecia. She died quite a long time ago." He spoke as if not really listening to his own words, his eyes focused on the picture. He remained silent for another moment or so before suddenly breaking his line of vision with the picture and turning to look at Sky. She did look an awful lot like Alecia...at least to him.
"You remind me of her."

she blushed then smiled playing with her mother's ring which was neatly resting on her index finger "she's far more beautiful than me" she sighed looking up at him with surprise, he looked so different now, so, modernized. This didnt scare her, she too turned into a monster once a month, but of course not in the literal sense. a monthly menstral tends to do that to a woman.
She quickly perked at the realization of he admitted what she wanted "you're really one?" she giggled and perched herself on the counter near him, crossing her slender legs over one another. She took a long drag off of her cigarette and offered it to him, it was a nasty habit but one she couldnt break, she rolled her head back in an attempt to crack her back which did work.
Sky knew her job sucked but it was money she needed, she needed to pay her dirtface landlord off, but failed to do so on time every time "she's.. girlier than me" she mumbled lightly running a hand over the sketch then bit her lower lip

Boro had not been the best at saying the right things at the right moment. He knew he was bound to say the wrong thing at some point, but he just smiled a bit. "I think you look similar." He said quietly, looking back at the picture. They looked so different, the two Boros. Himself in the picture looked happy; Boro could tell it had been a portrait done shortly before he had been turned, although it was far too long ago to actually remember. He knew he looked older now, however.
"I am." He spoke, leaning on the counter with a slight smile. He accepted the cigarette, taking a long, extended drag before letting it out slowly. "Your allowed to smoke here? That's cool." Boro spoke, looking around and then focusing back on the book.
"She wasn't all the girly. It's just the time period. You'd be wearing a dress too, back then. She could use a sword, you know. A lot better than me, and I was in the army back then." He smiled, eyes seeming much softer than they had been before. His focus unconsciously shifted to Sky, and his smile widened. "You know, sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't been turned or if she hadn't died." He added, taking another drag before offering the cancer-stick back to her.
"But then I wouldn't be here, right? Living in this city with crazy vampires that can run around in the sun and eat all the garlic they want. Lucky twits." He straightened up, covering a slight yawn with a fist before stuffing his hands into his pockets. "Why'r you so happy to meet a werewolf anyways?"

while she listened to him talk she unconciously leaned in watching his lips move and enjoying what he had to say. She did love all things different, this girl however wasnt exactly just human.
"well" she said turning around and lifting the back of her shirt, in the middle of her back was what looked like a tattoo of a wolf howling into a full moon "when i was born my mother and father both agreed to brand me with this, i was told that it was the mark of a keeper.. people who are destined to aid werewolves in any quest, who will never feel confident while walking amongst other humans. Basically they doomed me to seek out any of your kind" she laughed "thankfully though you're the one i found" her back was slender, her skin was soft and radiating heat, she blushed a deep shade of red before sliding her shirts back down.
"i'm trained to use a sword too" she mused "how wierd is that" she bit her lower lip starting to make similarities between them, thinking that maybe, just maybe, she was his wife in her previous lifetime. That would of course explain why she was drawn to him so strongly.

Boro's gaze turned to her mark, greatly resisting the urge to reach out and touch it. He had heard of Keepers before, although he had never met one himself, until today of course. Before he had expected them to be mostly myth or perhaps simply people imagined by aging werewolves who wanted to regain a piece of their humanity back. And now to find that there was a Keeper right in front of him, apparently here to help him with a quest of some kind that he had yet to figure out...
He quickly returned his hands to his pockets as she lowered the cloth back over her smooth skin, glancing away. "So...what does this mean? You said your supposed to help them with quests? The most interesting things I do are drinking beer and maybe running info for a dork living in Trump Towers." Boro spoke, looking back up to her. She really was beautiful, and he continually had to remind his brain that kissing someone you just met off the street was how you got slapped or worse.
And yet, as more and more similarities between Alecia and Sky showed themselves, Boro began to wonder if it had been just chance that had brought them together earlier. Boro had no belief in any sort of devine being, but fate? It was possible, although he supposed that it could be just anything...he smiled softly for a brief moment before running his fingers through his hair one more time. Nervous eyes looked around again before resting on Sky once more, his eyes meeting her's for one fleeting moment.
"You'll have to explain how this whole Keeper thing works; I tend not to pay attention when in large groups of other werewolves or people..." he added, smiling sheepishly before leaning on the counter beside her.

"well i'm not sure myself but, i read a book on them before. They're here to serve the werewolves in any quest they need, to whom ever claims them their loyalty shall always lay with them" while she spoke she took a final drag from her cigarette and pushed the end of it into an ash tray "the way someone claims a keeper is biteing them with their canines, it is similar to the way olden vampires drink blood except the wolves do not drink, they mereley leave a mark on either the wrist, collarbone or neck" she sighed thinking of it as being one of the most exciting moments in her life "i've yet to be claimed by anyone of either races" she laughed nervously unaware of why she said sometihng such as this.
"beer is sometimes good" she mused "especially with a little ice cream and a good drinking buddy. I dont know what you'll need my help with but clearly you do or we would have never met" her voice was playful while she looked up at him, her eyes sparkling in the incandescent lighting.
She had to remind herself that if she were to jump on him he would throw her off, there were so many qualities that reminded herself of the woman in the picture, the urge to be by him no matter what led her to lean into him for support but barely. The urge to kiss him was there but she refused, it wouldnt be right, not until he claimed her. If he even wanted to.

Boro was worried, to say the least. Everything seemed to be pointing to she being his Keeper, although he didn't know why he needed one yet or what this meant for anything about them. He liked her, it was true, no matter how hard he was trying not to. But he didn't want to bite her and risk hurting her, and he didn't even know if she wanted to be bitten! And 'lay with them always'? Always was a very long time, at least for Boro. And what if something happened to her while he was around her? What if he woke up one day to find that, just like Alecia, he had killed Sky? He would surely never forgive himself. But that didn't mean he shouldn't dismiss his attraction to Sky...did it?
He hesitated, smiling nervously at mention of beer. "Yeah...it is." He murmured, looking to Sky with obviously more than beer on his mind. "So..." He began, looking at her and her brilliantly sparkling eyes. "Does that mean we....do you...are we...um..." He stammered, glancing away and fidgeting nervously. He was so awkward; one would have thought hundreds of years of practice of dealing with people would have made a difference.
He finally stopped his movements, his eyes resting on Sky. "So...what do we do?" He asked quietly, resting a hand on the counter as he hoisted himself up to sit beside her. "I mean...I guess that since we met it's like...a sign or something? I've never been good with mystic stuff, destiny and all that. So does that mean I'm supposed to bite you? Or do you want someone else to bite you? See, they really need to come up with manuals for these kinds-a things." He spoke a bit faster than intended, digging into his pocket for another cancer-stick. He was nervous and worried, obviously chain-smoking in an attempt to calm himself down.

"i dont know what happens from here, if you want to bite me go ahead, the neck preferably considering that then everyone will see it, i dont know if you bite me or even want me" she said in a sweet tone looking over at him noteing at how awkward he was acting "honestly, the name of what i am is very misleading i am not your keeper you are mine, i am like your assistant" she giggled softly picturing herself in a miniskirt and all dolled up
"no decisions have to be made tonite you know" she offered him her lighter seeing as how nervous he was she lit the butt end of the stick then lightly nudged him "we can start out as friends and see where that leads us" she offered in a last ditch effort to calm him down
when her offers were going un replied to she brushed a hand through her long curly hair braiding the loose ends every so often "you know.. i wont die without a fight, even if you accidentally hurt me i'll bounce back very quickly" her voice was confident and sure "people have tried killing me before without success" she bragged showing him how tough she really could be, for a woman that is.

Boro smiled greatuflly as she lit his cigarette, obviously still worried about this whole thing. It wasn't so much the commitment that worried him, it was her desire to be commited to him. After all, it had been so long since someone had even looked at this the way Alecia used to...and by now Boro was convinced that no one would even want to spend their lives with him. And there were other things too, like his apartment. It was fine for him and Cort; they had spent extended periods of time in much worse conditions. But did he really expect Sky to live in a building that was almost ready to be condemed? Or if they moved to her place, was he just supposed to leave Cort out in the dust?
He slowly began to relise that Sky had been talking this entire time, attempting to calm him down. He snapped himself from his thoughts, smiling slightly at her. "I know." He said, having caught the last thing she had said. "I just worry too much." He added, taking another, much calmer drag of his cigarette. "I'm sorry if I was freaking out, You'll notice I tend to do that a lot."
Boro set the half-smoked tabaco product in the ash try before putting it out. He pushed himself off the counter, his feet hitting with floor with the quiet tap of converse. It was about this time that Boro began to notice that it was way too quiet outside. He hesitated, looking towards the door. No one was coming in, and he hadn't heard any sirens for the crash or people talking. In this city, it was unheard of. His silver eyes met Sky's for a brief moment.
"Sky...do you hear that?" He asked, feeling that he should whisper because of the silence.

she nodded her hands suddenly shaking "they're coming" she panicked she placed all the books back on their appropriate shelves, quickly turned the lights off, shut and locked the door, she pulled boro into a room she made, it was her safe room and of course it had to blend into the wall or it wouldnt be safe.
She let out a shattered breath once she heard the glass shatter from the front door, the ruffling of pages then finally someone sniffing, this concerned her, she bit her lower lip when the door quickly opened she shook her head "what're you doing? skyler" a male voice sneered, she shrieked and looked up at a pale figure "i.. i..."
"hideing again?" he gripped his hand around her neck drawing her out of the darkness completely ignoring Boro, he was obviously a new age vampire or he wouldnt be wearing a silver chain adorned by a cross "tsk tsk" he grinned lightly licking the side of her face, she bit her lower lip yet again, she hated vampires and this was why "let go" she whimpered
"let go!" she growled again, when he didnt stop, struggled to pull herself free "you'll do as i say if you want to keep your pathetic job"

Running had never been something Boro was good at. Well...not dealing with something anyway. He watched as Sky panicked, moving things quickly and locking the door. He had suspected something bad was about to happen, but he didn't think it would be on the caliber that Sky was making it seem. But then again, Boro wasn't good with predicting danger. He was somewhat notorious for running into danger without knowing what he was getting into, even before he had been turned.
He scrambled after Sky into the Safe Room, looking around at the small room. He supposed that it was smart of her to have made one; the only thing he had comparable to this was the bathroom in his apartment and that had a window. As the window outside shattered and footsteps came closer and closer to the room, Boro grew more and more tense. Whoever this was knew where to find them, obviously familiar with the surroundings or someone around here had tipped them off. His hands quickly flew to his side, half expecting to find the gun his boss often had him carry on his side. No such luck this day.
At first sight of the intruder, Boro hesitated. He hadn't a clue what was going on, but the man's pale complexion and apparent enjoyment of the taste of Sky's skin led him to believe it was a vampire. A frown furrowed his brow as he watched the events unfold, waiting for the moment that seemed right to step in, which seemed to come shortly after Sky's second demand to be let free and the vampire's threat or promise.
"She said let go." Boro growled, stepping forward in and effort to have the vampire turn attention to him. He swing, a pathetic attempt to get Sky free that was not well thought through. The man before him was, after all, a new vampire. There was almost no way Boro could take him and win, much less protect Sky.

the man laughed at the old werewolf, he caught his fist and pushed him back "really? you want to protect her? he laughed to himself shakeing his head several times before looking back down at Sky "do you want to keep your job?" she finally shook her head "no! no i dont let me go!"
"c'mon Mac just let her go" a human woman called from the broken door "let's not cause any problems for her, remember, we're not here for them" the woman was Mac's wife, just a week ago he'd been reported as missing then an hour later she was attending his funeral, usually things werent so rushed to it had concerned her before, now she was crying and shakeing.
Mac sighed and threw her to the floor, collected five books and he was on his way, this wasnt a let down but a relief, though she would forever despise vampires. She struggled to get to her feet, she noticed that Boro had crashed through a door, though he was visibly untouched she shook him once, nothing, twice, nothing three times still nothing "boro?" she asked in a panicked tone, one that would probably be similar to Alecia's voice "please wake up" she begged while tugging at his shirt "please"
There was something going on and she knew it, she knew she'd have to stop it too if that was Boro's wish, whether or not he had bitten her she was now emotionally tied to him and had no reason for why. She blushed deeply while tugging at his clothing "please Boro wake up.. please dont go"

His fist grabbed, Boro knew he was in trouble. He felt a sharp pain in his arm as the vampire let it go and shoved with minimal effort. Dizziness was the only problem until he went through the door, the wood splintering slightly as he crashed. His head was spinning, the world around him turning a blackish gray. The voices sounded distant, now another female's voice in the mix. Slowly he felt himself fade out and he no longer tried to hold his head up.
Boro felt himself open his eyes, no longer in the Safe Room but a small enclosure behind the house he and Alecia had once owned so many years ago. He felt a hand touch him and he quickly closed his eyes, trying not to smile as the unmistakable touch of his wife shook his shoulders gently, then harder. "Boro, please wake up." She demand, apparently not thinking this was funny. But the then-human kept his smile to himself, remaining as limp as he could. "Please?" She asked, her voice changing to a sweeter tone. "Wake up..." She spoke once more, as Boro felt her hands tighten around his shirt and tug gently. His eyes peeked opened, smiling and quickly shutting them. "Boro!" Alecia exclaimed, frowning. "Boro, please don't go..."
That phrase echoed again, the voice slowly turning from Alecia's to Sky's. No longer happy, panic and sorrow set in. Something was wrong, but Boro couldn't understand what. His head was hurting and he felt hot, as if a fever or he had been hit somewhere. He groaned, opening his left eye slowly. Thankful for the lack of light, he let his sight focus for a moment before he tried to sit up. "S...Sky? What's wrong?" He asked, his speech slightly dazed as if he had just been sleeping. "Are you okay?" Boro added, wrapping his hand around her's that seemed to be gripping his shirt so tightly.

"you.. you" she whimpered looking down at his hand then into his slightly dazed eyes "he.. he sent you through a wall.. you wouldnt wake up" her voice cracked the panick was still aparent, she shivered once before wrapping her arms around him, she helped him sit up holding the back of his head checking for any wounds, there was none, this gave her some relief, but, at the same time concerned her "why didnt you respond to me?" she asked in another panicked tone this time her eyes were streaked with a loving type of fear "i.. i saw you twitch and your breath came back bu-b-b-but you didnt respond.. i thought you were dead!" tears streaked down her face, she bit her lower lip chewing on it and looking him over.
her breaths came in shattered gasps, sirens erupted, speakers telling everyone getting out of their homes evacuate the neighborhood, go to holy grounds, churches and apartment houses made from old churches were the safest places.
"dont ever do that to me again" alecia streaked through her, she didnt know how to explain it but of course she knew. She knew she was a reinccarnated spirit, she knew she wasnt who her mother tried to explain, she was Boro's keeper and wife but of a new generation, she didnt remember much, while she was shakeing him though memories flooded through her, of the way he refused to wake from dreams, from sleep, of how he was fond of sleeping in, and, of course, her death. She winced at the last memory. She wasnt going anywhere this time, she was prepared.

"Hey, hey." Boro murmured, leaning forward a bit as she began to cry. "Don't cry." He breathed, hesitantly brushing a tear away with his thumb. "I'm not dead, I'm right here. It's gunna take a lot more than that to kill me." He spoke softly, moving closer in order to comfort her. Boro didn't know what it was, but something inside him hated to see Sky cry. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." he pulled her towards him, into a somewhat awkward but none the less loving hug. "I should have been able to stop him..."
The sirens spoke volumes about what had just happened. Boro's mind began to split in two, the first part wondering where they were going to go now and the other wanting to calm Sky down. There was his apartment, but that was likely to be ransaked and looted quickly because it was high up and Cort was an old vampire, who the new would quickly want to recruit. No, there was no going back to his apartment. And if someone was after Sky, they couldn't go to her apartment, now could they?
She spoke, sounding so much like Alecia that he smiled softly. "I won't." He whispered, still holding her to him. "I promise, I'll never leave you." He added. His smile grew slightly only to quickly fade when Sky winced. "I'm sorry." He quickly let go of her, looking her up and down to make sure he hadn't hurt her. "Are you okay? Sky..."
((Blargh. That was crap, sorry. <3 Please forgive meeeee.))

(it's not crap it's actually really good lol)
Sky smiled "i'm okay" her voice trailed off trying to remember what happened, if she had seen things, or was remembering false happenings "did.. alecia die from an attack? from a large werewolf? or small wolf" she held her temples trying desperately to stand, she pressed the heel of her palms into her skull "i'm.." she blinked attempting to push the memories back, but of course she couldnt.
"where are we going to go?" she murmured looking back at him, she sensed an odd familiarity, one of having nown him for so long, she shook it off as well as she could recalling white dresses, timeless beauty, unrequited love "Boro.." she asked in a smooth voice "what's going on?" when she asked this she dropped like a fly, her eyes rolling into the back of her skull, this hadnt happened since her childhood when she had broken her arm falling out of her treehouse. Memories came flooding through her attempting to pull her back into an unknown mindset, of someone who long ago died, why now? why was this happening after such a long time?.. boro, it had to be him. She'd seen a man like him when she was younger, but when she wanted to greet him she stepped off of her flat ground and onto nothing. her small body plummeted her earth to be cushioned by her arm which the sickly snap still haunts her.

This was it, he supposed. It would come out now, although he had never wanted it to surface again. Werewolves were horrible creatures for causing so much destruction, destroying lives.... "She...she did. W-when I was bitten, it still wasn't normal to be turned by a bite. People said you were turned by wearing a wolf-pelt or something like that. I didn't think, and since my battalion was camped near the city Aleica and I lived in...I went to visit her." He said quietly, glancing at Sky. "It was my first transformation..."
"I don't know where we're going to go..." He began, quickly changing the subject before she could answer on it. It was then she began to act strangely. This was when she dropped, fainting to the ground from their seating position. "Sky!" Boro was panicked. He had never delt with someone fainting before, certianly not like this. Her eyes looked strange and she seemed to be in pain or worried. "Sky, you've got to wake up. Come on; we've got to get somewhere safe? Remember?" He spoke hurriedly, holding her hand in his.
His heart was pounding, his head dizzy. The last time he felt this worried was when...no, it couldn't be. Sky couldn't be dead; he hadn't done anything wrong! He had taken time, tried to not become attached to her. How had this happened, how was it that he felt this broken-hearted over the possible loss of someone who should be a stranger? It didn't make sense, not when he had vowed to avoid hurting other people the way he had hurt Alecia...But it seemed that it didn't matter; he was going to remain attached to Sky no matter what.
"Come on, Sky. Passing out's my thing, remember? Wake up, kiddo...." He spoke, hesitantly moving a strand of hair from her face as she laid there.
