"Don't say that... say anything but that. This isn't one of the ways I'd want to die..." Thanatos shook at the thought before looking over to her, "Well... since we are going to die, I'm glad it wasn't alone, how about you?" He gave a small laugh, wondering how they knew so much about him and if there was a way out.

((Sorry, I edited my last post. I had her using her hands for some reason. Jeez. I can be such a ditz sometimes.))
Tori just turned to face him, smiling. It looked fake, like one of the ones she would give on a date that she hated being on. "... Yeah, I guess you're right." the smile immediately faded as she turned her head. "Some guy came in here and said he hoped we survived... What do you think they'll do to us?" |
"Well they know who we are, but won't tell us anything... Think it's some secret agency or something? You know, like Area 51? I know this sounds stupid, but that guard was acting like a robot." Nate looked at the door a bit worried, still a bit lame at times when he shouldn't be.
~~ "The subjects have been cleansed and are ready for the prep and experiments." Dr. Stock reported to the scientist with higher authority over him. He was excited to get to work on the new subjects, hoping they'd survive so he could liquidate the annoying goshawk. |
"..." She laughed, "Area 51?... And what? We are their test subjects?" She shook her head, laughing in pure panic. "You've got to be kidding me. I haven't done anything to deserve this shit." she said quietly.
--- "Very well, Dr. Stock... If you will, go and retrieve the first one. One at a time. We don't want what happened last time repeating." He said taking down notes, pushing up his glasses. |
"And you think I do? I'm just a male prostitute trying to get by for my drink and I end up here, lost and confused." Nate heard what she had said, "I'm starting to think we are their subjects since this is how they are treating us."
~~ "Right away sir, but may I ask, which is the first one? I was never informed." Dr. Stock nervously played with the cap to his pen, wanting to have the results already to the experiments that haven't even begun yet. |
She turned to face him, "A male prostitute?" She asked with a bit of a smirk. For a drink? That would definately explain the smell. "I would've never pinned you as such, a drunk yes... a sex toy, not so much. You're too much of an ass on first impressions."
--- "I don't care... Pick one." He said as he waved his pen to dismiss the doctor. He turned back to several of tubed people and noticed one of them didn't survive. "Dispose of project 304. It flat-lined." |
"I'm not an ass unless I've been thrown into a situation I know I can't handle, and I'm nicer the more drunk I am." He sighed, "Besides, being a male prostitute has gotten me quite a bit of cash. What did you do for money?" He asked curiously, looking up to meet her gaze.
~~ "Will do." Stock nodded and motioned for a pair of guards to move the corpse to the Graveyard of a pit. He then had another guard follow him to the room, "Grab the girl, we'll work on her first." He smiled before starting to take notes on his clipboard on the new subject. |
She smiled, "I worked temp jobs. Mostly in bars as drink mixers or in resturants as a waitress. But occassionally I would get the oddball job, like... one time I worked with several men moving warehouse items. Nobody thought I could lift something men could barely lift, but I proved them wrong." She said with a smile.
Then the door opened again, the flourescent lighting poured in, blinding them temporarily. A pair of hands gripped her shoulders and lifted her up, the strength alone making her gasp. She was already bruising, but the extra amount of pressure just pushed the pain to the point she couldn't take anymore. She turned to look at Nate, her face paleing as she was pulled out of the room. She turned to see the man who had entered the room before, her eyes narrowing. |
"Sounds like you found a great way to make a living." He said with seriousness. He froze for a few seconds when the guard grabbed Tori before he jumped to his feet and tried free her from the guard, "Leave her alone!" He growled, attempting to bite him.
(sorry if that ruins anything, felt like he should try to help) ~~ "It's good to see you too." Stock smirked and led the way to an operating room, "We'll do the experiment in this room, tie her to the table, we don't want her to freak out and squirm." He smiled and opened a drawer, looking for a few tools. |

Another guard forced Nate back into a sitting position, before slamming the door in his face. A loud thunk announcing the door's lock slamming back into place. The darkness of the room sinking back in. --- Tori spit in Dr. Stock's face as she passed him, then she started to yell at them as they forced her onto the table, "Who the hell do you think you are?!" The guard released her shackles and pressed her wrists against the table as another person strapped her down. |
Nate jumped up and started slamming his fists against the door, "Let her go!!" He shouted, not knowing why he was demanding for them to let her go, he hardly knew the girl, but something inside of him wanted her to be safe, she did nothing wrong as far as he knew.
~~ Dr. Stock let out a small grunt and wiped away the saliva from his face, "Keep that up and we'll do the splicing without pain killers." He half growled at her. He walked over and waited until her was strapped in before hooking an iv to her arm, "This should help a little, but as soon as you misbehave, the iv is out and you suffer it awake." He smirked. (oy... to admit something, I've never gone through the process of the splicing before...) |

The other scientist loomed over Dr. Stock, his pen poised once again. "No painkillers on these two. It may be what is effecting the final processes." He watched as they started the first process. "You need to insert the DNA to bone marrow, and then in the muscles. When she starts to twitch try to match her spasms with the needle still in until every last drop is in. No mistakes this time. Then you can start the surgery for inserting the cord vessels. Remember, no painkillers, we have suspicions that it is interfering with the processes." |
"Right." Stock nodded and pulled the iv back out, "Then this isn't needed."
He moved the iv set away from the table and grabbed the syringe with a long needle, "This is going to hurt." He told the girl as he slid the needle into her skin and applied as much pressure as needed until the needle went into the bone, pushing down on the plunger as he watched the girl's reactions, a bit nervous for his first time actually getting to do the process. ~~ Nate let out a loud yell of anger as he took his rage out against the door, finally snapping. He wanted out of this place and wanted to go back to what was familiar. He attacked the door until he grew exhausted, eventually sitting against the door in defeat, "No way out..." |
As the needle hit the bone she realised that she never had truely appreciated how much cushion there was between certain things and them. A loud shrill of a scream came from her gut and traveled all the way into the room, echoing. For a while, it felt like her legs were on fire as they continued to inject whatever it was they were. The scientist tucked his pen behind his ear and used his free hand to muffle her screams. She tried biting down, but only got a teethful of cloth and no skin. "Now the muscles including the heart. And remember to match her spasms, otherwise the needle will break off and the rest of the DNA will be lost. Once you have finished that we will bring in the other subject for you to perform on, while our techinicians will finish the surgery for the cord vessels on this one." He thought for a moment, while his hand moved with her head as she screamed and struggled. "Dr. Stock, will you be watching over these two progressions as well?"

Stock pulled the syringe out and hesitated for a moment before sliding the needle into her heart, pushing down on the plunger before pulling the needle out carefully, "Do they always move so much?" He asked as he refilled the syringe and stuck the needle in the places he was told, "If that's what the head scientist wishes, I was hoping to be able to. These are the first ones that I actually get to do the work on." He smiled when he was finished, having been nervous of the needle breaking on him, "Now for the other one?"

The scientist lifted his hand from Tori's mouth, as she gasped and twitched. Her eyes rolled back almost as if she were dying while the DNA mingled with hers. He pulled out a long syringe filled completely with a lime green serum. He pushed it into her neck and pressed the plunger down all the way. Her body stopped twitching as her head lolled to the side, numb from pain. Tears pooled at the corner of her eyes, as she was aware of everything going on, but unable to interact in any way. Paralyzation would wear off in a matter of minutes.
--- Two guards entered into the door and gripped Nate's arms pulling him from the cell and down the hall where he would be preformed on by Dr. Stock as Tori had been. --- "They can be your project... Once we are finished with our tests, they're yours and you can do with them whatever you like." He said pulling out the pen again as he watched the techinicians start to work on drilling, cutting, and inserting man-made vessels that would feed a serum to help them heal and trick the body into accepting the DNA and multiplying it. "But if you screw this up... you don't get to touch another project. Understand? Not even that Goshawk." Tori watched as they pulled Nate into the room. She was starting to get back her ability to move, and her face twisted in horror as she knew what was about to come. But instead of warning him, she let out a shriek of pain as the technicians started to insert the cord vessels. |
Nate struggled for a bit, biting at the guards before finally giving up, "I hope I die soon." He grumbled as he was pulled into the room, freezing at the sight of Tori being hooked up to tubes, "STOP IT!! JUST STOP HURTING HER!!" He growled, trying to fight the guards again.
~~ Stock nodded, "I have a few ideas about these two." He smiled a bit, not in perversion, but actually thinking of making them his slaves. He watched as the guards shook Nate until he settled down, one of them had hit him a few times in the back of the head, "I hope that doesn't cause any brain damage." He grumbled as he helped strap the man down and pulled out a new syringe from the drawer, filling it with the DNA that was chosen for the man. |
The scientist shook his head. "Barely even strangers and you stand up for a creature you don't even know." He turned to face Dr. Stock, " The human race and it's emotions always did fascinate me. Alright! Dr. Stock, if you will, start the process on the male." He waited, a small smile curling onto his lips as he walked over to Nate when they were strapping him down. He wrote down several things on his pad. "It says here that you are a male prostitute and drunk?" He was calm, but his eyes turned downward as he glared at Nate.
Tori looked over at Nate, praying that they were almost finished and that he wouldn't have to go through what she did... or if he did, he could be a bit stronger than she. She clenched her teeth onto a plastic guard as they started cutting into her other arm, soon followed by the drilling into her bone. She tried to muffle another scream as she struggled to pull herself away. Her face was red as tears streamed down her cheeks. Once the final cord vessels were in place in her arms, they stitched them up. She looked like a female version of frankenstein's monster, small metalic holes pushed through her skin. They had been threaded like a screw or nut, waiting for something to attatch. They released her chest and her arms, quickly shackling her wrists behind her back. She spit out the mouth guard and looked over to Nate. "Don't let them... Don't let them!..." The scientist turned towards Tori and the technicians, "Is she ready?" He asked. "Yes'sir..." One of the men said. "Then take to her to the next room." He said waving them off. He didn't even turn to watch them drag her off and out of the room. Her screams and attempted struggle didn't seem to deter him as he continued to focus on Nate. |
"CREATURE? WE ARE PEOPLE!! WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he struggled against the straps, glaring back at him when he heard the scientist talking about his life, "Why do you care?" He half growled, trying to bite the scientist.
~~ Dr.stock looked over to the other scientist, "Are you sure we can work on him while he's struggling this much? I don't want to lose my needle." He twitched a bit nervously, holding the full syringe and held it over Nate's arm, glad there were straps at the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. He jabbed the needle in, pressing it into the bone and hit the plunger, the liquid seeping into the man's bone. ~~ Nate started screaming in pain as he felt the needle scrape his bone before it went in, "Get that needle out of me!!" He shouted, surprised at how much the tiny needle could hurt. Tears were falling from the pain and from the anger of them doing this, "I swear, you fuckers, when I get out of here, I will kill you both." |
The Scientist smirked and watched Nate as he screamed. "Oh yes... That's what they all say. But then, they die. Sad isn't it." He turned away from Nate to look at the doctor. "If you lose the needle and he dies from it while going through the process it's his stupidity. It's his fault." The scientist turned and looked at Nate again with a smug smirk on his face. "And if you do survive Mr. Thantos, I can garuantee that while I have you, I will make your life and the girl's a living hell just like you are making mine right now. Got it? Fabulous. And later sale you or her as lovely sex toys when the Doctor is finished with you." He said as he walked off to the side and observed from afar.
--- They dragged Tori to the specimen room, where people were bottled into tubes. Her entire body stiffened as she looked at them. She couldn't help but feel like they were mutated science experiments. Two pulse lines flattened as two humans failed to complete the change. So this is what they were doing, mixing human DNA with Animals and creating hybrids... but for what?! She tried to struggle, and when she did they gave her another dose of serum to supposedly help with the transformation. "Pl-please... I-I didn't do anything... I don't want to go in there... Pl-please..." She sobbed as they dragged her along. They started to hook her up thick IVs where the cord vessels had been drilled into her arms. They finally uncuffed her and immediately closed the tank door. She leaned up against the tank sobbing, banging her fists against it. She let out a loud shrill before the plasma started to rise. The coldness making her jerk. "NO! I didn't do anything! PLEASE! LET ME GO!" She banged on the tank more and more with her fists until the plasma hit the start of her hips. She in haled a lungful of air as the coldness shocked her. It kept rising up to her neck before she finally had to swim just to get air. She panicked when the tube completely filled, holding her breath. Her hands went to her neck as her body convulsed, making her take in a lung full of plasma. She passed out, but her body started to breathe again, while the cords started to pump the serum in her like a second circulatory system. Her hands still on her throat, her body curled into a fetal position to keep itself warm. |
"Well I'm sure you haven't had anybody like me before. How many drunken male prostitutes have you picked up, eh?" He growled, though let out another cry of pain and a series of curses towards the men's well being when he felt the syringe stab into his chest and into the rest of his muscles.
~~ Dr. Stock backed off after he finished, watching Thanatos squirm and struggle as hard as he could, watching the straps strain to hold him down, "I believe he is ready... You sure we can't use any sedatives on him? I don't want him to squirm more and mess the technicians up when they prep him for the tube." ~~ "You aren't going to drill holes in me, you monsters!!" Nate shouted, his voice cracked from all the strain it was going under. He struggled even though he knew it was no use and that he was wasting his energy. |
The Scientist watched as Nate squirmed against the restraints before turning to Dr. Stock. "No... No sedatives. Tighten the restraints if you have to, but no sedatives. I want this duo to turn out perfect, like the first one in the next room. Got it?" The scientist set down his pen and notepad before going over to Nate's prep table and gripping the restraints himself and jerking it tighter. The restraints started to cut into his body as he tightened the holds. "There... You shouldn't have any trouble now."
The technicians surrounded the table, preparing for the surgery. They started to slice open his arms while another one pulled out the drill. As soon as they moved the skin and muscle out of the way, they started to drill into the bone. It took a couple of minutes before they inserted the first valve opening. |
Dr. Stock nodded, "As you wish." He muttered and watched the technicians drill into the man, "So what happens if these two survive and accept the change?" He was being more curious than ever before.
~~ Nate let out a scream of pain when they sliced into him and started drilling, shocked at how much pain these men could cause, "You monsters!!" He shouted, the pain was becoming too much for him, "I'll kill you...all." He growled before he passed out, completely weak minded at the sight of blood and all the pain. (lol Nate's a pansy for pain.) |
The Scientist watched as Nate passed out from the pain before turning to Dr. Stock with a wicked grin. "Why Dr. Stock... Then we will have reproduced the first test data, and can keep reproducing it. Think about it, Dr. Stock. Think of the possibilities that can come from creating a hybrid and then putting it on the Black Market. It would be a new trend of Pets, friends and slaves. They can Talk, Think, Love and Hate and it would be completely legal, because they are no longer completely human. Like a gorilla. We could turn a larger profit from turning nothings like this man... into something. Instead of a child saying; 'Daddy... I want a puppy.' They would be saying; 'Daddy I want a Dog Hybrid for Christmas.' We could call them Anthros! A trend for teenagers. We would make a footstep in science AND make the largest profit known to man. We would make the greatest thing since computers." The scientist up-played the scenario with a insane smile on his face. His glasses reflecting the room rather than what was going on in his eyes.
'Yes... and that's not all they would use them for.' He thought to himself. |
"We could use them for military tactics as well." He grinned, "They'd be the perfect soldiers, bred to be loyal and able to do things normal soldiers have difficulties with." He was starting to like the possibilities, "And nobody would care because they aren't human anymore." He watched Nate as the technicians finished screwing in the valve openings and were moving him into his tube.
The cold liquid filled his tube slowly, though he didn't struggle when it filled his mouth and lungs. |
