Through out history stories have been told of a portal or gate way leading to an other dimension. In the village of Star people have been disapearing. Strange animals have been attacking the villagers. Families have cowered in fear as they hide in their homes. Only few people have been brave enough to fight off the animals. Many of the villagers have died fighting. Their bodies were carried through the portal. The once blue sky is now blood red. Crows have began nesting in the village. People have gathered their families and moved away. Only few people remain in the village of Star. People have either been dragged through the portal or have gone in them selves. Select groups of people have been chosen to enter the portal and retrive as many survivors as posible. Some have gone in by acceident. Can you be brave enough and save the villagers of Star? The key board is in front of you....

Bio: Zoe is from a family of travelers. At a very young age she lost her parents to the cretures from the portal. She now lives in Star. Recently she was pulled into the portal by a giant hand. She doesn't know where she is and her curiosity has kicked in......

Bio: Rylie was pushed into a portal by accident while running from a gang. She hates demons because her brother was recently murdered. Right now she desprately wants to go home.

Personality: Serious. Likes to get things done as fast as possible. She tries to keep people from fighting each other. Is crafty by nature. A bit of a con-artist at times.
Bio: Her mother and father were killed by some creatures as soon as the portals opened. She was in another village at the time learning the ways of an assassin. When she came back the innkeeper gave her the grave news of her family. She was devastated and has since then protected the town from the strange creatures coming from the portals.

You walk around the village. Crows are calling and the sky looks like death it self. You walk around cautiously and terrified.


~*The other side of the Portal*~You tumble through the portal and land in a field of red and black flowers. You look around and hope that there is a village near by. You get up and walk around.

Zoe tumbled out of the portal and landed in a patch of black grass. She looked around. "Oh, wow, I hope there's a village around here." She mutters. Zoe stands up and brushes the grass off of her and pulles her goggles down over her eyes. She takesa deep breath and zooms off at a speed of 80mph in 2 seconds. The wind zips past her as she runs.

Rylie flew out of a portal, crashing into a field of flowers. "Whoa...that was weird..." She looked around and realized she wasn't in her town anymore, realm too. "This is weirder..." She walked around, eventually finding a path. "Wonder if this leads to a town..." She put her hand on the hilt of her sword, knowing something might come up.

Zoe was getting a little tired so she slowed down to a stop. A few moments later she heared howling. She desided that it wasn't safe to travel alone and ran back in the direction of the portal she had come through. On her way back she saw a girl and almost ran into a tree. Zoe stopped and caught up to the girl. "Hello!" She said rather loudly. Zoe smiled.

Rylie turned, seeing Zoe. She smiled and waved at her. 'Perhaps she's from around here.' "Greetings!"

Zoe ran up to the girl. "Okay, do you know where I am? 'Cause I don't have a clue." She asked curiously. Zoe reached took her fans from the small holsters on her hipps and held them incase of an attack.

Rylie looked around at the scenery. "Well, I really don't know either...One moment I was running from a gang and the next I appeared here. I think this path leads to a town." She looked to the side, seeing at how much longer the path goes on. "Should be an hour walk at most."

"Well, probably an hours walk for you, but a twenty second run for me." Zoe muttered before speeking again. "Why don't we just travel together, I don't think it's very safe to travel alone at the moment." Zoe said before walking down the road once more. She kept her fans close at hand in case the girl tried to attack her.

Rylie walked as well. "You appear as a shadow warrior. Aren't you already skilled in your profession?" She asked, curious. In her world, when somebody reached the age of 10 they were taught every move with the desired weapon, making them extremely skilled by her age.

Zoe raised an eye brow. "Uh, yeah. I guess you could say that. Where I come from they call Shadow Warriors, Ninjas. I'm acctually ranking pretty high for a ninja my age. I've been on about four S-ranked missions and havn't gotten killed yet! Pretty close to it though." Feeling that this girl wasn't going to attack, Zoe put her fans away and relaxed a little bit. 'Who is this girl?' She thought.

Rylie thought for a moment. "I suppose an S-Rank mission is of the highest you have?" She understood alot of this and knew if she didn't she'd probably look like an idiot.

"Yeah. Or, at lest, thats what Iruka Sensai told me." Up ahead Zoe spots the town. She stops on the path and points to it. "Hey! Theres the town!" She says, excited. Zoe brings her goggles down over her eyes and takes off at 40mph in under a second in a half. She ran into the town and stopped. Zoe took off her goggles and set them on her head. She realized that the villagers where staring at her. She smiled sheepishly and walked into the nearest tavern.

Rylie sighed, walking into town a few minutes later and going into the tavern. "We haven't introduced ourselves yet, I've realized that. My name is Rylie Gao, and you would be?" She asked Zoe, hoping she'd give an answer without going off and wondering how to get home.

"I'm Zoe Rodregez." She said as she walked over to the front desk. "Could I get a room please?" She asked the guy behind the counter. He nodded and handed her a key. "Room 7. Enjoy your stay ma'am." He said politly. Zoe took the key and motioned for Rylie to fallow her.

Zo walked up the stairs untill she came a crossed a door with the number 7 in gold. She un locked the door and walked in. There where two beds on one wall and a window on the other. The walls where light green and the floor was wooden. Zoe walked over to one of the beds and fell apon it. It was soft and she was tired. "We'll figure out where we are tomarrow." She said, yawning. Zoe fell asleep soon enough.

Rylie sighed, seeing Zoe fell asleep. She walked downstairs and grabbed a book from a shelf, sitting down and reading. After a bit, she put the book up and walked back upstairs laying down on the other bed and falling asleep easily.

Zoe woke up the next morning and desided to go into town to find some thing to eat. She found a food vendor and bought some bread, cheese, and water. She took them back into the room and had some breakfast.

Rylie woke up shortly, the smell of the bread wafting in. She sat up in bed in yawned a little, getting up and sitting in a chair. "Good morning Zoe." She said, smiling a little.

Risa Blacksmith entered the inn coming back from a week of patrolling. She walked up to the front desk where Jason, the innkeeper, was watching the store. "Any newcomers?" She asked.
Yeah," Jason answered, "Some-sort of an assassin, and a pointy-eared girl. I think she's an elf."
"Thanks Jason. I'll welcome them here when I see them." Right now Risa needed to rest. She went through town and made her way to her empty house. "I should clean up a bit first," She stated to herself.

Rylie shuffled through a small pack on her waist and got out a comb, combing her hair with it. "I suppose I'll go and see what I can find out about this world. I'll return in a while." She said politely, putting the comb back into her pack and walking downstairs. She went into a small forest due east of the town and walked around, seeing a small blue squirrel-like critter.
The squirrel-like creature was a bright teal that glowed, and had a long tail and long ears. It had a red diamond on it's head and a white chest.
Rylie clicked her tongue a few times, seeing as the creature came to her. She always had an affinity for befriending animals, and had several pets back home. She stroked the creature's fur. "Hello there little one..." She said quietly, smiling.

After taking a short bath at her house to wash off the dirt and blood, Risa went back outside and took a walk around town. She found herself wandering towards the forest that was east of the town. As she was walking she noticed a pointy-eared girl in front of her."She must be one of the newcomers," Risa thought. And then she saw the squirrel. "Get away from that!" Risa exclaimed as she pulled out her dagger and ran towards the girl. Hoping she wouldn't be too late.

Rylie stood and drew her sword, twirling around and pointing it at Risa. She glared at her. "Stay back. It isn't harming anybody. If it does, it doesn't deserve to die unless it kills somebody."
The squirrel-like creature crouched down behind Rylie, it's tail going between it's legs. "Prrreeeee...." It said, a little frightened.
Rylie put reached back with her free hand and petted the creature gently, trying to reassure it nothing will happen.


(( BTW: The squirrel is a Carbuncle, hope you dont mind I use that ^^;;;; Also, Carbuncle is supposed to be a bright blue/teal. Carbuncle ))
