Intro
Since ancient times, man has wondered if he has ever been really alone in the universe. Scientists have studied evidence that spans over a thousand years to try and prove that, yes, there are extra terrestrials out there.
And now, they know they are no longer alone.
Many archaeologists study ruins that have withstood the test of time. Some examples of these great monoliths are the Great Pyramid at Giza, the Nazca lines, and ruins of the Mayan and Aztec cultures in South America. Startling new evidence has revealed itself through unusual carvings in stone, highly accurate achitectural detail, all compelling evidence that once, thousands of years ago, strange beings not of this world, "ancient astronauts", visited this world and gave man the tools he needed, the knowledge he could have not known on his own, to transform the human race forever.
Now, in the present day, strange things have begun to happen...

The Reckoning
Crop circles, strange light phenomena in the sky, solar flares, unusual light patterns, increased UFO sightings... These are the signs.
They are coming.
--------
The archeological community has scoffed at the outlandish ideas of the ancient astronaut theoreticians for years. They think of them as outright silly and don't bother listening. Their voices are not heard.
But it might not be too late.
A difference can still be made.

[Name] Ahrang
[Age]25
[Occupation]Archeologist
[Personality] Calm, quiet, likes getting his way
[Bio]He was born in Ireland, lets just say he wasn't really supposed to be born it just kind of happened, for some reason his mother didn't even know she was pregnant. He was a born traveler, as a child he was very interested in the world around him, its cultures, history, everything. Thankfully his parents were well lets just say it rich and would go everywhere. His father was an archeologist himself and I guess you could say his love for the job sank deep into Ahrang. His mother didn't work unfortunately she died when he was about six and his father went into a severe depression, even almost killed himself a few times. So for safety Ahrang went to live with his grandmother in Taiwan. She was pretty strict and turned him into a spoiled brat to a gentleman (well kinda) he rebelled a lot i guess you could say. Taking on that bad boy profile. He always struggled in school accept for a few subjects. Science and History, and of course reading and well lunch. He picked fights a lot in school a lot of kids would make fun of him, but he would just fight back. As soon as he turned 18 he left home and started to travel. Frankley he didn't care where he was going as long as he had a back pack, water, a bit of money, and a few books he was happy. He knew he'd have to go to college eventually if he wanted to really be a professional archeologist and study the world. So he went after a few years of traveling and meeting people all over the world and has been doing it ever since.
He believes there are things out there waiting for us, he's tried a few times to get his colleagues to go along with it but they laugh at him. Hey would you agree to the fact aliens might have helped us with I dunno everything?! probably not one day you might.
[Likes]Digging, Reading, Drawing, swimming, quiet places, rain/storms, space, history, traveling, culture, food. Foreign and oldies music. Foreigners <3
[Dislikes]Lots of people, the government, loud annoying noises. Tv, close spaces, getting old, sweets, guns, idiots.
[Hobby] Digging, reading, studying the earth, watching the stars. [Traveling, experiencing things from different countries.

[Name] Sachana
[Age] 23
[Occupation] Astronomer
[Personality] Eccentric, Glitzy, Crazy, Glamorous, Cool
[Bio] Sachana was born in L.A. to a famous rock star and his third wife that he met at a concert who was his biggest fan. Her father died of cancer when she was a young girl, around three years old. As a young child she was indulged to the extreme because her mother was usually never around and worked abroad, usually with another guy. Sachana never liked her mother, and instead pitied her. Her mother was usually distracted and drunk when she was around, and she always made sure she was out of her way or she would be beaten harshly for no reason. She could not remember her father and so did not miss him or hate him or anything. Since the age of five, Sachana has learned to defend and support herself. She was unusually bright and headstrong at a young age, very mature when her mother was not around. She had no other family that she could live with, so a nanny was set up, but she was fired because she was so strict. Sachana hacked into her mother's email and fired her that way, and even faked her mother's voice when the nanny called her cell phone. Instead, Sachana made friends with a social worker who came to check on her often. She knew about the family troubles, but did not go against Sachana's wishes to call in foster care to take her away. She wanted to stay exactly where she was. With the social worker's help (Megan), she enrolled in classes from dance to ballet to chemistry to cooking. Anything to keep her busy and from thinking about her mother. She never went to daycare or preschool. At six years old, she enrolled in kindergarten and passed with flying colors. The next several years of her life were spent in school, and afterschool she would stay as late as possible, and could either be found in the chem lab or hanging with the tech crew. She was especially interested in Astronomy, and signed up for magazine subscriptions and classes at the local community center. When she was sixteen, she dropped out of high school. Her mom had remarried and wanted to move into the house with her new husband, a man who sexually harassed Sachana constantly. Sachana took the next greyhound out of town with one thousand dollars stashed in a sock in a loose seam of her suitcase. She rented a cheap apartment and had her first meal at a corner store. She was immediately noticed by a modeling agent on lunch break and was told to stop by the agency. She was interviewed and began taking bookings the next day. Over the years, she modeled for several different magazines, commercials, and ads. She used the money she made to get through college and get a degree when she was 19. At twenty, she started to work for a chem lab, then switched over to a planetarium and pursued her love of the stars. She quit modeling and eventually became the head of her own department that looked into life on other planets and cosmic phenomena. She has an eccentric fashion sense and is teased about it at her work.

[no clue but i think later in the day..maybe. I wish you could too :(]
The bright, glowing, yellow ball of fire gazed down below on the helpless victims at its feet. The desert sand was carried by the wind only to be dumped on another sandy hill. Before it could land it was carried once more into the air by a shovel raising from the ground. There were many men working in ditches in the sand. They were covered in their own sweet caused by the fire ball that hung over them. A mule carried buckets of water around the sight stopping every once in a while for the men to get a drink. It was hot, to hot for anyone to be out there. But they were, a dog ran past the mule barking as it went, it was small it stumbled a frew times as it ran its small legs getting caught and sliding with the sand hills. It ran to the entrance of one of a what appeared to be a temple under the sand. Stone walls and pillars could be seen on the edge and down below. The small dog barked a few times, it wasn't able to get down. It whined and barked again pacing at the edge looking down as it did so.
A man could be seen from the corner sitting on a box. He was turning the dial of a radio trying to get a signal, but all that would come out was static. He had a bottle of brandy in his hand and he already was a little tipsy. He looked up at the dog who was whining and pacing along the side looking down at him. He breathed in from the cigar in his mouth and then threw it on the ground smashing it with his foot. He looked behind him toward the back of the temple.
"Oi, Shut your mutt up its givin' me a head ache!" He yelled
Another man was crouched in the back, there was hardly any light accept for his flash light. He had a few objects from the temple in his hand and was trying to get all the dirt off and restore it as best as he could with what he had down there with him. He could hear the dog but ignored the other man. He got up and walked over to him, looking down a disgusted look soon came over his face. "I told you not to smoke in here, look what you did to the floor"
"Fine fine, Ahrang" The man shook his head and took another sip of his brandy, but other grabbed it from him "Don't drink this either" He put it into his back pack after corking it and climbed up the rope to his dog whose tail was going crazy as soon as he saw him. Ahrang smiled petting it on the head, he could hear the man below insulting him a bit but he ignored it. He didn't want him sitting around drinking while everyone else was working in this heat. Ahrang put the item he got from the temple into a protective case and put it into a trunk with the rest of their findings for the day. He sat down on the back of one of their boxes and watched the others dig. He pulled out a sketch book and started sketching the pyramids in the distance. They were truely amazing.
Another one of his partners came up to him with a small cup of water. Ahrang didn't really like drinking water in other countries unless he new it was good, but it was so hot out he didn't really care at the moment. He thanked the other and slowly gulped it down. The man looked down at his sketch and then at the pyramids "pretty good"
"Thanks, Its just to hard to believe.." He said looking out
"What is?"
"That they were created, Its hard to believe a lot of things were made at the time that they were. Just way to advanced for the timeperiod..."
The other chuckled and patted him on the shoulder. He smiled in return, that was all he ever got was a laugh.
[sorry if it isn't a good first post, couldn't think of anything ]

((it's cool, probably better than mine))
Sachana strode in from the planetarium's open rooftop, obviously pissed as she practically stomped down the stairs, the waif of a pale assistant scurrying after her. She went down several glaringly white hallways and high-kicked down a locked door with her six-inch, stainless steel stilettos, leaving a dent to mark her destruction. Her eyes blazed in anger. People turned to stare at her as she came to the head of the meeting room table, where stretched out before her were pale, stiffnecks who thought little of her and her department.
No one could tear their eyes away from her. Underneath her white lab coat, she wore nothing but a bubble-gum pink sequined bikini and navel piercing. Her skin was evenly tanned, a strong contrast to the others at the table, and her white blond bob of hair bounced menacingly. She banged a fist onto the table, arms crossed in obvious irritation.
"What is this?" she said loudly, her clear voice ringing like a bell in the echoing room. "Why was I not alerted to this meeting?"
The others shifted in their seats uncomfortably. "Well," one man began, his balding cranium glinting dully with sweat, "we were, uhh, too engaged to, uhh, properly..."Sachana stood tall and proud, her gaze flashing over everyone gathered there. "First, my salad for lunch goes bad and I have to eat from a vending machine. Second, my tan is messed up and I burnt my shoulders. And now this?" she exclaimed, waving her arms to encompass them all. "Why was I not told of the fact that a livable planet, within our solar system, less than a few lightyears away, has been discovered, and without my knowledge?" She paused. "Well?!"
"Oh, you know perfectly well!" a woman called out in challenge, rising to face Sachana. She was middle-aged and dressed smartly and modestly, her plain brown locks tight in a bun, her mien sharp and disapproving. "Everyone know what a fool you really are!"
"I have no idea what you mean," Sachana replied smoothly, but no less coldly.
"As if you didn't know! Your whole department is a joke! As if aliens really existed! You claim you've found proof, but it can be disproved very easily, I can assure you. There are no messages in the stars or alien civilizations. It's a waste of money.
"And you're a joke yourself! You come in here half naked and expect us to take you seriously? You dress like a whore and no one takes you seriously because of it. You're only twenty-three, but you're the head of a department that exists only to prove the existence of nothing! Of course no one would let you come here. You don't even deserve to!" the woman crowed, a wicked grin spreading across her features.
As if on cue, everyone around her began to laugh and taunt her. Sachana felt her face go beat red. She held her stance for a moment more, then stormed out of the room in humiliation and anger.
One of these days, she thought. One of these days... I'll prove them wrong, and then we'll see who gets the last laugh then!

Most of the diggers Ahrang hired were gone, it was late and after they got their day's pay they had to return to their families. Ahrang walked beside a camel his friend was riding, his dog following closely at his side cautiously looking at the camel every now and then. They set up camp after another fifteen minuets or so and made a fire. Ahrang laid on his back on a blanket and stared up at the billions of stars that were visible. He was glad he wasn't in the city or he wouldn't be able to see any of them. But out here there were tons, the sky was filled with them. He even noticed a few shooting stars go by. His friend sat beside him and laid down on his back as well. "So you really think that aliens have been here before?" He asked glancing over at him
Ahrang let out a breath of air, he didn't see why he bothered to respond he always got the same reactions. "..Yes I do" He replied after a bit.
His friend rolled over to face him "Wheres your proof, I mean you cant just go against what everyone's been taught"
Ahrang shook his head "Ah my dear friend if you would look closer it would be right in front of you clear as day. I mean for one look at all those stars" He said pointing up at the bright lights "some of those could be planets, or stars close enough with living planets and if they do what if those living things are far more advanced than we are and have already been here, but we were to..well unintelligent to know what they really were at the time...so we'd probably think of them as gods"
His friend stared at him blankly for a bit "You lost me a little"
Ahrang sighed "There are paintings of these strange creatures or "aliens" on walls that natives all over the world have painted on stone walls. They all look similar and were all treated like gods, in return the...Aliens taught them things like how to build that for example" He said pointing to the pyramids now far off in the distance. "They gave them tools that are beyond what we have today to create amazing things. Theres evidence of it all around, the bible, religion in general, paintings, sightings, carvings, monuments, anything" Ahrang watched as his friend thought about it for a moment and then turned and laid back down. He frownd he knew he wouldn't really listen. His friend never was that interested in space, he was more interested in things that he knew happened and digging up mummies. Ahrang turned over and continued to watch the stars, his dog curled up on his side and soon fell asleep.
If they ever come back....I want to go with them. He though to himself though he knew the life forms that visited their planet several times may never come back, and if they did probably not in his life time.
